Container lid is broken and needs replacing. (Sorry didnt have anything suitable)
Great little spot to stretch your legs. The lonely rooster is still alive and well.
Lots of interesting information here and its all about whats special out here.We soaked it all in!TFTC which was nicely themed and taught us about the Mallee Fowl too.
Parked and walked in. Found the MF hiding.
Thanks for placing the cache Hercs&pinky.

Find # 9844
Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
I parked on side of the road and walked in, just what I needed. A quick find and back to the ute.

Swanhill was on our list to visit as we have never stayed overnight as cachers but have only ever passed by on our travels. With only 2 finds and a DNF on the map we intend to remedy that in the next 2 days. Unfortunately the DNF remained but we did find many quality caches on our adventure along the Murray River.
Heading north we stopped to grab many hides to help break up the trip and just enjoy the ambience of the bushland in an area we have never explored before.
We had a clear path to the foul making for a well themed find.
Thanks Hercs&pinky for the malleefowl info, we think we have only ever seen 1 in out travels.

Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hercs&pinky for the cache.
Hi there Hercs&pinky.
We found your cache **"A Clear Foul"** today.
Wow what a great day out!! We traveled along a lot of dirt roads, and found a fantastic variety of caches. At the end of our run we have found 16 and by good management we didn't add to our DNF count.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you Hercs&pinky for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Suscoe headed out for a trip to the west and north west of Kerang today.
It was a sunny day, it got quite warm as the day passed by.
We saw some terrific country out here and visited some places that we have never been to before.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, the temperature was starting to get warmer at this stage and there was plenty of sunshine too.

A late run today as I did some online study this morning which left me thoroughly confused So decided to pretend it wasn’t still windy out there and hit the trail Visited some historic spots, took a few pics, went for a walk, and logged a swag of caches.

Out to find a few caches, only saw one bird of interest here. Took nothing, left a small trinket. TFTC
Interesting little reserve out here
And a good one for a short stroll to GZ.
I soon tracked down the cache
The mallee fowl is one Aussie bird that I haven't seen in the wild [:o]
And considering how much time I have spent wandering around the mallee,
that is really surprising
One day ....
.... a mallee fowl is going to wander past me campsite

Don’t know about a “clear foul” here as there was certainly a foul stench nearby (I didn’t search for the origin of the aroma) Soon had the cache found. The lid was off, so the cache was full of bugs and there was a spider nesting under the camouflage. It certain made for an interesting find. I removed all the visitors and ensured the lid was firmly secured before leaving. TFTC
After attending the St Arnaud Mega Event its now time to travel to Swan Hill for a couple of days. Travelling through the countryside and finding caches along the way. Thank you to all CO's for placement of the caches. TFTC.
Heading from St Arnaud to Swan Hill and collecting some caches along the way. Thank you to all the COs for the variety of placements and maintaining them so that we can enjoy finding them.
Sitting at my computer during these Covid lockdowns, I am trying to catch up on a few logs that I haven't sent in yet.
Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late log, something I am notorious for. Thank you for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.
Thanks Hercs&pinky (F=596 H=134) for the cache.

After reading the last log this morning and saw that the container was a margarine container I thinks to meself that ain't right as we don't use that sort of device [?] [?] [?]
Checked it out at lunchtime today and sure enough a nice clip lock vessel had been swapped for a margarine one .
Replaced the margarine tub with another clip lock.

En route from St Arnaud to Swan Hill, of course it is important to program in a few breaks such as this, to feed our caching addiction and maintain a safe driving record.
We were amazed that the present container (margarine container) is standing up to the elements, having no recorded find for some 10 months.
Thanks 'Hercs&pinky' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

TFTC what a great place to stretch your legs and go exploring, we have driven past this place many times and finally stopped, and we are glad we did!
Took a short drive from Swan Hill to Bogo Lake to visit the fyying boat museum and of course to convert some little green boxes to smileys. I have found a number of this tpe of cache since arriving in SH and the name sake on most have detached from the cache.. Other than that the cache is well. TFTC.
Out and around the District for a drive today collecting a few smilies. Great to now know that I wasn't alone getting a smilie here today.
Cautiously walked to the GZ totally concentrating where I was placing my feet. Got a hell of a fright at the GZ when something passed by my peripheral vision, yes a wild scarry foul not a clear foul.

Went and checked on the cache this afternoon
Don't know who it wasn't found as it was sitting in its hide uncovered and would have been easliy spotted.
Anyhow recovered and the fowl awaits to be found again

6757 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on a maintenance run with the CO. A little soft on the dirt after the rain of the last few days. The wind had exposed the Foul and was a bit of a surprise. Well done. SL Tnx Hercs&pinky.
Found after a short stroll with the kids. Loved the guard chook. SL. TNLN. TFTC Hercs&Pinky
Quick and easy find. On a day of catching up with smileys. Kids loved this container. Such a busy road also.
After a great weekend catching up with friends at the 6 months to The Alexandra Event we were now reluctantly heading home picking up a few cache along the way.
We enjoyed reading the cache page with all the info about the mallee fowl and thought that we should really find the cache dedicated to it. We found a park and took the walk to gz where the cache was found right where the GPSr was pointing. We added our name to the log and replaced everything as it was.
Thanks Hercs&pinky for the cache, the fun container and the information.

Made a quick find with this little beauty. Loved the camo. Still a few mozzies around
but not as bad as when we played golf the other day.
Signed and replaced. TFTC.
