Nice spot near the rivers edge. Loved the clue and yes was easily located. As we signed, we saw a number of fish jumping and was able to see the Olympic Rings hill that we visited for a multi also. Thanks,

While out for a day of looking for a few selected caches, this one was on the program . There was no problem in locating this one, although it did take a bit of searching to identify just the right one. The log was signed and muggles walked along the nearby path. A lot seem to bring their dogs for a walk here as well. Thanks to Megaturtle for placing this cache.
Today it's Geobiking around Olympic Park. The wind will be with us all the day !

Lovely spot tftc
The log is pretty wet so dried it out and added another piece of paper as the log is sodden.

2nd cache today. Quick find. Nice hide. Forgot to bting a pen so made some green stains in the log. TFTC
Looked all around for this one and thought about giving up. Stepped back and had another look which is usually a good idea and spotted the litte blighter.
A good hide as it is not as easy as you think.
The log is dampish and my pen did not work too well so you will see some unidentifed black squiggles.
Thanks Megaturtle

DNF. Found what seems to be a marker in the trees, but nothing else clear. Good luck
Located at 8:14am. My first find of the morning, took a few moments whilst talking on the mobile to a friend overseas. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!

Between completing one multi and doing some research for another, I picked up a couple of traditionals along the way. Approached from the low side and made a quick find.

Almost no mosquitoes today in the middle of the day. We had to go through the previous logs to have an extra clue. So happy finally find it! TFTC!
A warm winter's Monday. Not sure if the sun is out as Sydney is blanketed in thick smoke from back burning on the weekend past. Prob should have stayed indoors but hey.
Homebush awaits.
The 2nd along the trail for me today and really like this. Started looking for well known container but soon spied a different one. TFTC.

Found with LovelyLadyLocks. Log was saturated and cache exposed. LovelyLadyLocks replaced log and baggy and hid better. CO I have the old logs with me. I can try salvage however it is somewhat pulpy. Can post to you if you'd like
Found out in the open, everything was still intact however the poor log had seen better days. Have put in a fresh log with a brand new baggie. Hid where l think was the original spot - if CO would like me to confirm please let me know TFTC
I was starting to get worried about this one. Took me quite a while of walking around in circles to get there. TFTC.
#3389 - On the fast carbon geobike today and rocked up to this one. Took a bit of hunting but kept the feet dry and mud free. Well hidden but it's right there. Not keen on these types of tortures. Many thanks to the CO Megaturtle for organising and maintaining this cache.
An overcast but clearing cool Saturday usually means fewer muggles about. So rode the hybrid out Newington way for some caching along Haslem Creek. Tally for the day: 13 finds, 1 DNF

TFTC. Nice stroll along the river on a sunny public holiday. Geokids enjoyed it.
When I arrived at GZ I knew where I had to look despite the device not settling. Tricky, but eventually a good result just as the school bell was rung for the end of lunch. Thanks Megaturtle.
After checking up on all of my geocaches today, I found nothing wrong with this one.
Gave #3 a miss after a heads up from the friendly geocachers I bumped into at #2. The hint saved me here. Clever camo!
Kind of knew where I had to be after reading the hint on this cache. Once found I did the legals and replaced as found.

Managed to complete all 5 Haslams Creek caches. All where quite easier finds. Suggest you bring along the Aero Guard as the area is very popular with the local mosquitoes, apart from them it was a pleasant walk. Thanks for all the caches.
Found it on an overcast Sunday while walking the dog in the area. Another quick find. TFTC
Find # 1044. Found at 2:25pm.
It was a scorcher of a day, hovering around the 40 degree mark throughout the afternoon and not letting up until roughly 7pm when the mercury dropped to about 33/34. Luckily I was prepared, loaded up with four bottles of water, sunscreen and 100% battery on the iPhone. I tried my best to soak up the time in the car air-con before hopping out at Newington and beginning my caching escapade.
I successfully found seven caches this afternoon - five in the Haslam's Creek series (in reverse order I might add) as well as the multi-cache Olympic Ring and a traditional cache 'The Concorde' that has been on my radar forever but only today did I make an attempt and succeed.
'Haslams Creek #4 On The Edge' was my second find for the afternoon. I found the ideal path towards GZ and stumbled across the out of place assembly of rocks within a few moments.
Signed log, thanks for the cache Megaturtle

Lots of mozzies in this entire series. Found this one nice and quick. TFTC!
Walked straight up to this hide as the camo stones made this like a beacon. SL and returned.
With only water birds for company I found the little"sculpture" and soon had CIH

Worke up Fri morning after Australia Day and caught up with JordsAU and decided to go caching around this area. Quick find with JordsAU. Cheers for the cache.
27/1/17 Found with morry9. I had to run an errand in the morning over Lidcombe and thought I would do a few caches while I was over that way. Morry9 was keen to join me, so he tagged along while I took care of some business. We then set our sights on the relatively new 'Haslams Creek' series, and walked it in reverse order, while we were aggressively attacked by mozzies the whole way along the mini power trail. All five of the caches in the series proved straightforward and quick to find, and it was a pleasant walk along the creek.
We had a bit of time to spare so, after retracing our steps, we continued to the 'Olympic Ring' Multi Cache nearby. This cache had us walking in circles for the most part and, once at Ground Zero, we ended up having to search high and low for a good 20 minutes. We moved mountains to get to the hide but we eventually had the eureka moment we were expecting. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

This was the trickiest hide in the series by far! I brought grandpa off the path to this one to watch on as I thought he would like the creativity in the hide.
Myself and dad searched for about 5 mins before reading some hints and logs and narrowed the search down. Dad eventually found the well hidden cache
Thanks for the find

I think I just got lucky with this one! First proper place that I checked and there it was - tftc!
Out for a morning of caching in Newington before a picnic at a nearby park. Started off with this series and found them I. Reverse order. Thanks for the nice walk along the trails.
This one was a problem at first. I gave up and did the rest of the series and came back and found it fairly quickly the second time.
I spotted this one immediately. There's a great view from GZ of our ultimate destination, WP1 of the multi-cache “Olympic Rings”. SL TFTC
searched for a while then the Mozzies & the Ants chased me away. will have to return.
Had a wonderful cloudy day around the parkland and tried to find the caches. Success! It was pleasant to stop with the bike and saw different places in this area. [^]

On the way to Silverwater Park and the NT Mega meet up. We came from the south so we started the series in reverse order.
Oh this one was a little exposed when found. But rehid after doing the business. TFTC Megaturtle.

This series was a nice walk along the creek on a warm day. Some of the hides were frustrating as they took a bit to uncover. Should have brought along extra eyes!
Another hard one! I looked for quite a while seeing several that looked out of place until I spotted the right one. Very relieved as this was the end of the trek so no chance to find out on the way back.

OCW Mikev1 we had just spent way too much time finding a new multi. Having finally achieved success we were hoping these Haslam Creek hides would be quick ones. Luckily we weren't disappointed as we had CIH once we veered off the path. The hint was extremely useful on this one. TFTC.
Out with Brewmaker around Haslams Creek finding some caches this afternoon. After finding a nearby multi we headed over the bridge in search of this series. A very nice walk beside the creek to a location I hadn't been to previously. We had a bit of search with no luck but reading the hint definitely helped. Then the solution was obvious. Signed the log and replaced. TFTC
