Logs
Located container has no lid everything is wet , needs maintenance.. urgently. I have stamped the wet log at the best I can do . TFTC
Nice easy find with little treasures, but unfortunately the lid was off and contents/paper were wet so could not sign
Found this cache, but unfortunately it had no lid and everything in the zip bag was wet.
# 1660Found today, but the log was so wet that there was no writing on it. The lid is missing from the cache
Unfortunately lid as broken and it was a bit wet. All sealed up now. Found by Megz, Lolly and Griff.
Walked along the line looking for these caches. We couldn't find this one. Can the owner please check?
Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 1. I managed to get away early enough to try and find a few caches a bit further south than Picton where this evenings stop was planned. I made it to Colo Vale, Bargo and Tahmoor and the areas in between. It was a warm day and some of the walks were fun. Plenty of interesting caches found and not found during the day. Dinner was a microwave dinner in the company of Joolay and Kitty Katch in Picton before I returned to Bargo for a night with the trains.
I did this walk in a few sections. There is no lid on this cache anymore and was very wet. I know why there was not much accommodation around now as this weekend was a steam weekend.
Thanks for the cache trickygav

Once again, I parked a little north of the coordinates and walked back along the road until I could find a good spot to cut in and reach the track. From there it was a quick spot as the cache was slightly exposed from its camo. This one is in n serious need of maintenance - the lid is disintegrating and as such, the container has become waterlogged making the log unsignable. Tftc.
In serious need of maintenance - container is damaged and exposed to the elements.
Found but waterlogged and riddled with bugs inside. Container is warped and does not close properly
So today is the day, I am finally going to get my 200th. Both Mizcupcake and I have been planning a run down the Southern Highlands for some time but plans had always fell through. Finally making our way back and getting a nice and early start, the sunshine in Spring makes for a great day. This is find number 8 for today. Parking the geomobile and making our way down the path collecting the line of caches. A really quick and easy find but unfortunately the log is wet and needs maintenance. TFTC!
Today is a big day for Littl3Vix and I, its the day she got her 200th (we know exactly where we are going ) and also just cause general geo trouble in the Southern Highlands, which is almost untouched by us, because plans have always fallen through until now. So far we have made good progress, this being find number 8 for the day. I really enjoyed walking through here for this series a quick easy find once at GZ. Thanks for the cache and the walk!
Passed the worlds biggest sheep to get here but a quick and easy find. Another soggy log, TFTC
Visiting friends at Thirlmere today and decided to do these seven caches.
Log damp but was able to sign. TFTC trickygav.

Glad I didn't attempt this series from the road and opted to walk from the station along the line northwards. A nice series- everything pretty easy to locate. Walked back from #5 mainly along the train line and road. TFTC!
The log on this one is soaked as the lid is a bit smashed.

Quick find, managed to beat the kids this time! Logbook was wet and container is damaged.
Well done Miss 3. Wet log signed, the mystery at the museum is close to being solved. Tftc
Decided to pick up this run of caches while heading south with ilook4geo. It was a bit of a sad run. People have already said about the broken containers and the soggy logs, but no maintenance has happened as yet. Such a pity! It would be much more appealing if the CO could bring this run back to life. Thanks for the cache and hopefully for some future maintenance.
Came along here to do some caching with goingplaces2. Found what we were looking for, but some were in very poor condition. Signed the log and replaced as found. TFTC.
On our usual route between Sydney and Canberra, we thought we'd break up the drive with a few caches.
We decided to take a detour and do the "A walk along the line" series. It was a very dusty walk, but we had fun despite encountering dangerously fast dirt bike riders, and even met Thomas on the tracks! Some of the caches had broken lids and very (very) wet logs. Others have already mentioned those, so we didn't take note of which ones they were - sorry! We left goodies in the dry ones.

Day out cache grabbing with the wife.

Find # 8269
Found while up at the Gong event.
Seeing as I was still all alone after grabbing the mega geoart. With no messages on the phone from anyone needing or looking for me. I headed west, as I still needed to feed the smiley addiction. Also I was interested to see what the map would bring up.
Well from over the M31 I had a great selection.
A couple of oldies, a few nanos, some good short walks and all the time needed to do them in.
Also realized there was a couple of puzzles that were easily solved n grabbed in the area.

Original log soaked as it wasn’t in a bag. Someone’s put a dry piece in a bag. Lid is cracked. Tftc
Tipped at least a cup of water out of this one. In need of a new container. Added in a new bag with dry paper. TFTC
Having missed this one on the walk north along the train line from Couridjah Station I stopped for it on the return walk.
I guess I was distracted on the walk past by all the pretty Gladioli growing along the path - Dame Edna would be pleased!
Also the track was flooded just beyond this one and I was looking for a way round.
The cache was absolutely saturated so I guess the flooding here was much worse last week.
Having had to spring through the long grass to avoid slithery things to walk past on the road, the strap on my geobag broke as I jumped for the track .....grrrr.
TFTC and the walk - really good!

Out with the daughter while wife getting hair done.Nice hide TFTC. Bag with notepad ripped and little moisture. Dried as best I could.
Headed off for a caching day around Bargo with Azzepious and Lokied. We were aiming for some of the high D/T caches along the 'power trail' in Bargo. We managed to grab quite a few, and only obtained some minor scrapes and scratches for our trouble. All logs were signed as 'Team GOGGGG' the Group of Glorious Gaming and Geocaching Geeks.
We decided to do a cache loop back to the freeway. We parked where we could along the power trail and walked back when we had to.

Out for a day of geocaching around the Buxton area with Azzepious and mrsmith00 to help celebrate my 40th, grab a few high D/T combos, and bring some form of respectability to my numbers! All logs signed as GOGGGG.

#21of 32 - Continuing along the trail with Azzepious, with mrsmith00 leapfrogging us in the car.

Decided to do the caches along the train line by foot. Parked up near the end and walked down to the station to start collecting caches. No trains today but passed a couple of horse riders going the opposite way along the quite dusty track. There were very few pedestrian muggles and, although the roads on either side had a fair bit of traffic, there were some pretty big gaps which meant I didn't need to be too stealthy. Most caches were relatively quick finds and in good condition.
Thanks for placing this series, trickygav.

Logged another in the shade of the local aboriginal land council, then heard the train returning so waited patiently...
Day 7 of my streak.
