Logs
Found the coords a while back and found the cache location afterwards but it was so busy I decided to leave it for another day.But this area is always busy so decided to go for it anyway. Looking very suspicious, I located and signed the log, trying very hard to use stealth, probably making it look even more suspicious. Ah well...
Recently got hit by a car while cycling, having recovered I decided to try again and treated myself to Geocaching premium!Cache took me a while because I though I miscounted (I didn't). Cool cache, felt very open and suspicious at the final location! Cache found at 14:28 Saturday, 6th July. Cache number 355, TFTC!
I struggled with the solution here as I thought my coords were off. Maybe they were but not far as I was within 30 feet. A nice but tricky multi!
This underpass is awesome, so good to be able to get over to the airport side of the road without having to deal with all the traffic. I came here for the first time last weekend and counted everything, then came home and put it all together. Had some coordinates that looked like they could be a couple of metres out but otherwise good, there was something that would fit the hint nearby. Then I started reading all the logs yesterday, hoping they would help me make a quick find today, and realised I probably had one answer wrong, which meant I must have two answers wrong because the checksums worked! But I thought I had a good spot for the final so I messaged the CO, I did have two wrong, but I had the correct hiding place anyway! Today I came to the final and found it reasonably quickly. Not somewhere I could hang around for long but fortunately found it before my tolerance limit for busy places was reached. Thanks so much for the help and the cache StreetWalker!
Found with Gummi_Venus. Such a cool tunnel! I didnt know this was here. Ah, the places caching takes us. It took us a few laps up and down the tunnel. Fortunately GV was working on the clues a little further down the list so we got it sorted quickly. Our checksum came up one short so I tacked 1 on to the clue most likely to be miscounted. It gave us a suitable GZ so we made the short walk and quickly spotted the hint item. Took a bit to find the cache. It is well hidden in its snug hidey hole. That thing isnt going anywhere! Really busy today so we probably received more than a few strange looks. Thanks for this. That was fun. January spelling challenge complete!
Got the information and had to repeat the process as my checksum didn't agree. Second time lucky and the cache was soon in hand; TFTC

I did pass. And I passed 3 times, to count everything.
Cool underpass! Looks like some of the skylights are in the need of some weeding or mowing
You shall not pass, grass! Into the underpass!!
Classic hide at the final location. Was clear to me where the cache will be, as I was approaching already.
Kia ora! Paldies!
Thanks for the cache, StreetWalkerNZ!

After a few laps of the underpass to get the required numbers, it was a quick walk to the very busy gz! I felt a bit conspicuous searching but the cache was quickly found and signed! TFTC!
I easily found this cache this morning once I had double checked my numbers. A retired banker who can’t count is a bit of a worry. I then walked a couple of nearby streets for my street project
Came out to do this multi as not so busy. Had fun gathering the info and checking in case but all good. Only met 2 walkers while counting and said hi. We worked this out in the shade of the underpass so we could see our phones. Then to the final, all good here. Thanks for bring us here and the multi cache StreetWalkerNZ, a fav from us.
On a weekend caching mission to qualify for another GLSC licence.
Ugh! I think that I made for return trips for this one. When I agreed with the checksum I worked out the final and thought oh dear, that cannot be right. But…sure enough it was. A good hide. Lots of muggles in cars. I decided to time it while they were moving and to look nonchalant while they were stationary.
I spotted another one of these later on and gave it a miss, deciding that one in a day was enough.

Thank you StreetwalkerNZ.
I have enjoyed both underpass multis along this road! Cache still in place and log in pristine condition. TFTC

Not sure where we went wrong but we just couldn't solve this one unfortunately.
We solved this quite a while ago, it was for month with a "Y" in it, so some times ago, we asked help from the CO, as one of our number was wrong. Today, we decided to go off for this adventure, and quickly retrieved the final. Despite the high muggle area, no one really paid attention to us. A parent talking to a child acting strange and fossicking around never looks suspicious. Both container and logbook were in good condition. thanks for creating and maintaining this cache.
found the end location though after much searching and weird looks from passers by no cache was able to be located… may have been muggled.
I was at the nearby cake killing time when I noticed this cache and decided to give it a go before heading to the airport. Appreciated the checksums. Easy find at the final but I felt a little conspicuous.
Walked back and forth counting off the different questions. Easy find at GZ just a bit busy.
This has been printed out for at least a year! Today was the day! One gets to know this underpass quite intimately and the final was busy busy. However, a log was happily signed and then back to have a good look at the wee church. TFTH and the good walk!! it was basically double checking and not needed really.
Interesting multi that was quickly solved and to hand, on a scorching NW afternoon. Had to go to bunnings and this was on my way past. Thanks for the effort that has gone into this multi and of course placing and maintaining a cache.
This impressive underpass was a nice sheltered location to do the counting on a cold windy day and all the numbers checked out leading to a quick easy find of the cache a short walk away. The location of the underpass struck us as a little odd, and we do wonder how much use it gets? TFTC
Got the clues all sussed last week but ran out of time to do final bit ..... came back today for a quick find TFTC
Out this way today to try and sort the adventure lab bonus that I managed to stuff up a few weeks ago. I went under more than once counting, counting, counting then retreated to the car to sort it all out. I have to say I loved the Nelson one but maybe this one is a bit flasher. TFTC # 15,686
This one took us a lot longer than necessary as we had transcribed the instructions to paper to make it easier to do the sums, and in the process a "k" was mistaken for an "h" and we ended up at a final with a plausible landmark, but on the wrong side of the road. The spot was even more exposed to muggles than the actual final. We eventually sat down and checked everything... This meant we ended up using the underpass twice more than necessary also. The actual final was really simple compared to where we have first been searching! TFTC
Apologies for the late log. Found with Tuitigger and Granville86a while up in Christchurch for the long weekend. Nice to explore a new area for a change. TFTC
In town for Labour weekend, and staying near the airport. I have a new fascination for planes, with a flight radar app. Witnessed the Emirates A380 take off, 2 nights in a row... thought we would grab this before heading back to room and getting some rest before night caching.
Granville counted one thing while I counted the other. Had to rework our sums but soon had solved and cache in hand. Thanks for bringing me here, cautious of our every move being watched though.

Found with Tuitigger and Searchwisely while up from the south for the weekend. We walked back and forth getting all the numbers and did the calculations and came up with a solution. The final was quickly found. Thanks for a fun hide.
We biked here with the kids and they loved this one. Zooming down the slopes several times from end to end while trying to count stuff was great fun.
The final location is very busy, I do wonder what all the muggles driving by make of people hanging out at that location!

This did not let me pass until found. So, after the massive fail last week where I had warfi’s offspring with me, Warfi supplied a wee hint, probably having a wee giggle at our dedicated, long, failed attempt. This time, the right end! You shall now pass and go to work ;p
I was driving home quite late - and realised it ws actually very early... so a good time to stop here & collect another "Multi of the day".
I was here a couple of days ago & got the info; didn't agree with the check sum so I abandoned it, temporarily. In the comfort of my lounge the numbers made sense and the checksum worked afterall.....
Thanks for this Multi, StreetWalkerNZ - I certainly had no idea this underpass existe before coming here.

There goes my DNF from 14 months ago, I finally stoped by here again and figured out where I went wrong and after a short stroll, had it in hand. Yay! Cheers
Being a dot day I had to duck out and grab a cache so I picked a nearby multi and a traditional that was near it for today's mission.
After Lime'ing here I walked the tunnel counting the required stuff. With much doubt of my numbers I sat at a park bench and did the required math. All the check sums worked and I had a final with no corrections to be made.
At the final it was a quick find, although at a peak traffic time.

Today we made a trip around the city, visiting some new sightseeing locations which we had on our plan. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches, too. The weather was cold, nearly raining, but we reached our hotel just before the rain began.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to StreetWalkerNZ for showing us this location and for the fun we had at You Shall (under) Pass!. The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
This Multi was made during we waited for the repair of our car - is there a better way to spend his time than geocaching?
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

It was a low number calendar day. I had work. This was the nearest unfound geocache to work.
I solved the multi a while ago. I love the underpass.

A little bit of time between dropping daughter off and the event, with a few caches around Great fun and perfect timing here, TFTC!!
Had a few minutes spare before needing to meet some people this morning, so ran about like a maniac seeking the answers to get to the final GZ. Thankfully I got the checksum on my first attempt, and the cache was found soon afterwards. Thanks for the multi and the cache.
I've been wanting to visit this one for a while so me and the 6yr old came here and did lots and lots of counting and walking back and forth. The underpass is impressive and still clean looking like its new but it took a few goes to get the checksum to balance but then I didn't believe the resolved coords were right. Without giving up we wandered to where the GPS was telling us to go and wouldn't ya know it, there it was! Felt quite exposed here and not my favourite kind of place to be. Nice to have an extra smiley - thanks StreetWalkerNZ.
This cache took ages due to one wrong number, so had to count again and again. And then of course the doubt what the panels are - only the white ones (surprised that they still are without any graffiti) or whether all features count. So first checksum wrong, tweaked the numbers for a second checksum, did the math and the next checksum was wrong. So a complete restart (a bicycle is quite handy to go back and forward) and finally both checksums were correct. Not to our surprise the cache was at the calculated coordinates as well. TFTC and showing us this flash underpass
After we gave friends a ride to the airport we gave this multi cache a try. The collection of the needed information was a bit tricky. Finally we got the right checksum and we went to GZ where we could find the container.
Thanks for showing! Tftc

I gathered the required numbers after a training course nearby, but being rush hour there was no way that I could do a search with all that traffic.
The traffic was quite light today, so was able to make a quick unobtrsive find.
Cheers and thanks for the cache.

Quick find at GZ. Had to pick moment for a gap in traffic then sealed the deal. TFTC.
T-Tech and I are on holidays in South Island for 6 weeks!!! We flew into Christchurch from Brisbane yesterday, picked up our campervan and settled in at the caravan park for the night. Today I took an early walk to grab a couple of caches nearby.
I sure did a lot of walking through this underpass! So many things to count My checksum didn’t add up at first and it took a little time to figure out where I’d gone wrong, but turns out I got confused between the ramps. The second set of numbers fell into place straight off, and then I took the walk around to my GZ. Darn tricky to be stealthy here! The cache was a quick find in the first spot I put my hand. TFTC, StreetWalkerNZ.

The first of the day and not a good start. The kids had a ball going back and forth through the tunnel getting the info required and while the first checksum worked, the second did not... Went to GZ anyway and let the kids hunt around but no luck (and I found out later I was in the wrong spot, need to check my maths...). Cheers anyway, the kids had a ball with the echo's.
In Christchurch Overnight so have dragged KCN out for some caches. Lots of counting, and several options but we got there in the end.
Bag was a little damp, but logsheet inside nice and dry.
Thanks for a smilie and the extra pirate points for a multi.

Picked up RuruNZ from the airport as she suggested that while she is here overnight that we spend the afternoon caching. This was the first of the day and it happened to be near where my mum went to school just across the road from the church. Love how wide this is and really safe for both cyclists and foot traffic. Thanks for bringing us here.
Got the co-ords long ago but the final was missing at the time. This time I was over this end of town and once again visited this amazing underpass. Cold day. Quick find. Lots of passing traffic. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
8 July 2017 15:30. Once I figured that a panel was white and not multi-coloured things clicked into place. Thanks for the checksums. Had no idea this great underpass was here. Got my steps up walking back and forward. I wonder what the people behind the cameras think of the multi-solvers on this cache. Throughly enjoyed. TFTC StreetWalkerNZ
Was on airport pick up duty so started out early to grab a cache or two or three "en route", yeah right.
Have driven past here on many occasions, quite oblivious to this very flash underpass. I know it very intimately now after a few strolls up and down and up again as I gathered the information required. Just one wee glitch, I misinterpreted what a panel was and so over counted. Thank goodness for the check sums!
Took the short stroll to GZ where the cache was a quick find, though did feel a little exposed here. Thanks for introducing me to the underpass. Now to pick up some veges at Raeward, then pick up the CO from the airport . TFTC.

In the region for a few days work. I had a couple of hours to spare this morning before getting down to it. This was the first cache I came to. Nice fun multi. I miscounted one thing one time then sorted that out and had numbers that added up nicely and took me straight to the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
A nice quick find while the traffic whizzed past. Lucky no one takes any notice of their surroundings!

Had great fun with my Grandson gathering the information the other day. Today we were heading to the airport- so stopped to have a look. Bit of an odd spot to go looking- but never mind- we found it. tftc

Wanted to go find some caches - need to clear out more of these that are close-ish to home!! So I went for a drive/walk/wonder/cache with the baby in tow. Managed to find 6 - not too bad a run!
Parked at raeward fresh, and took a walk with the baby - I too followed the technique of let's see where this hint gets us - turns out that the answer to that question is - to the final location!!
I did get distracted along the way - looking at a chestnut tree, and then an apple tree, and then discovering that there's a whole old abandoned 'orchard' on the south west side of roundabout!! I will be back when those pears are ripe!!
TFTC!!

We got a wee nuge from a Friend, but we still couldn't find it.But did find a dead Rat..
We went back and did all the calculations while getting funny looks from a couple of walkers..What must they have thought we were doing as we were counting back and forth out loud..As you do..Lol
Finally we had the next set of Cords and Yippee our name is in the Log Book
The Road was very busy, but starting to look great, and looking forward to see it finally finished at Memorial Av..TFTH

A nice underpass to make walking and cycling safer at this junction. I had a wander through the little tunnel but I must admit that I didn't do the number crunching. I read the hint and took a punt as to where the cache could be hidden and I was right. TFTC.
I used to drive around here everyday but since we relocated to the CBD I've lost touch of the changes around here. And there sure have been a lot of changes. Nice underpass, took a bit of checking to make sure we got everything. Thank goodness for the geochecker! Thanks for the cache.
Handover didn't take long today so had a few minutes to revisit the final gz. This time found within a few minutes thanks to the CO doing some maintenance. Thank you StreetWalkerNZ for placing and maintaining You Shall (under) Pass! geocache, from Mr Cuddly Brick Found on this awesome day the 14 January 2017, sweet cache number # 1649
Cahce was AWOL. Have replaced with one a bit bigger. Will think about relocating the final if this one disappears.
Having walked the walk up and down, looking up and around I got the coords. But couldn't locate the cache. Messaged a previous finder and conferred I had the right coordinates which I did. Searched further and nothing, I messaged the previous finder and sent a couple of photos as well to which the reply came back saying thats new and wasn't there before. I searched a bit long but traffic was growing and came to the conclusion that maybe workpeople had taken the cach or discarded it. Well thats my story and im sticking with it for now
Good to be in the shade on this hot day, while walking to and fro, counting and adding up! Great spot for a cache especially as it is a multi, which we enjoy. Very impressive tunnel too.... Such an historic church and graveyard nearby. Thanks for a fun cache.
Was sitting having lunch nearby when I noticed the multi here. Getting my bike back tomorrow so hoping to use this underpass soon. I got knocked off my bike (from behind) at this intersection a few years ago when traffic wasn't as bad as it is now so I am thrilled this underpass is here. Thanks for placing a cache nearby.
I stopped in a Raeward Fresh 2 weeks back and did all the passing, back and forth, counting, but as I hadn't brought my reading glasses with me I had to forgo doing the maths until after I got home.
Anyway, after the rain had finished this morning I thought I would combine some caching with loading up with some cheap(er) truck-stop fuel. I made this my first stop. Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache SW.

Turned out I could get at the cache without a tool. Relocated it a few inches away in a location that is more accessible. Thanks to Team_Gaters for letting me know it might have become inaccessible.
The cache has become tricky to retrieve. I think I can extract it (with the right tool) and if so will put it in an accessible spot.
Out and about at night....as good a time as any. Bit fresh but all good. Wandered back and forth counting...ended up one short on the checksum, not quite sure how or what I missed...everything looked good?! Calculated gz got me to the final (or near enough?) To make the find and sign. A swanky underpass alright. If this is here...makes you wonder what the airport flyover will look like & include?!
Cool cache----literally!!!! A hot Spring day and the cool surrounds of that new underpass. Never knew that this was even planned. Wonder whether the anti graffiti walls will work?? Anyway a super little multi and a quick and very busy find at the end. A fav from us. Thanks.
Met Dan while we were busy counting. A lovely new underpass, hope it stays clean and tidy. Well done S/W a favourite from us.
