DNF... live near the area, so have searched a few times with no luck. Muffles abound as it’s a popular spot... confirmation it hasn’t been muggles would be good! Thx

12-May-21
Considered making a stop here this evening, but when a string of finds turns into a string of DNFs, I figured I wouldn’t waste my time.

Although the cache may still be here, would the CO mind checking and validating this one? Thanks.

11-Apr-21
Looked all around, but could not find. Has it been muggled?

10-Mar-21
Had an opportunity for a good search with no muggles around. Couldn't spot anything here.

27-Feb-21
No joy for us today.

21-Feb-21
Too many peeps around and not enough time to give it a good go... live nearby so will come up again soon.

06-Dec-20
Must be hidden well. 2 of us could not find it.

06-Dec-20
We have to try another day when we have more time off to catch a flight

01-Dec-20
Stopped on here while in the area for work and managed to have a muggle free experience at GZ while searching. Spotted the little bugger after a shortish search. I was standing there and thinking it should be right here somewhere and there it was staring right at me. Tftc

25-Nov-20
Found with a little help from the comments. I have had a few quick looks before during high muggle times so I wanted to be prepared for the rare occasion it would be muggle-free.
Tftc

22-Nov-20
had a little giggle cause stephyy was on stealth mode while i was sitting here having a smoke &’ enjoying the view ️ regardless of the muggles that were around , she retrieved the cache We signed it &’ was safely put back — TFTC ️

22-Nov-20
I have been here heaps my mum use to bring me here when I was little when the water reserve wasn’t so big and when there where 100’s of feral cats. Knew this was gonna be a really stealth mission but we got it in the end.

05-Nov-20
DisSister took the last parking spot and I was relieved that GZ wasn't where the two muggles were admiring the view. I made a surprisingly quick find here given the size of the cache and the possible hiding places. My lucky day. TFTC

05-Nov-20
On our arrival here I realized I had been here before, possibly for another cache years ago. Quite the view from here for sure. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC Mr Jaiger

05-Nov-20
Fortunately, a praying mantis on a nearby post made for excellent cover for us three geocachers given that there were muggles to the right of us and behind us. The Marble found this tiny cache in a less tricky location than I what I was expecting, fortunately, and I think Bartley had excellent taste building his house here.
TFTC, Mr Jaiger. =^.^=

31-Oct-20
Very good hide manged to piece out the comments to find this nano. Didn't take out log as would never be able to get it back in. Sunset find.

17-Oct-20
I tried this one a year ago with no luck. We visited again today on impulse after a little afternoon picnic at Newstead House. We found it so quickly! Makes me wonder if it was actually not in situ last time...
TFTC Smile

13-Sep-20
Quite a few muggles around so stealth was required! Lovely views from here! TFTC

16-Aug-20
When I pulled up I thought I would have a relax but nope I was wrong had to do some stretches because of muggles nearby. Got the smiley for this one. Tftc

11-Aug-20
A clever little hide

11-Aug-20
Caching with Triggerfish. We started in the CBD but came out to the ‘burbs to get away from the muggles. We are having much better luck now but that one took a while, a different perspective paid off.

Thanks for the fun, Mr Jaiger

Sunday. Wow! I wish I had some of Barley’s property back in the day! What a fantastic location. Mr SP and I looked and looked. We felt around and then some. After a few minutes - and stopping to look at the view when some other people came past and were watching us (goodness knows what we’d get up to...), I put my hand on something that moved and I whispered to Mr SP "I think I’ve found it". Waiting for a quiet moment, we signed the log and replaced it. Such a busy place here. Fantastic spot for a cache.

This was the 2nd of 9 caches found on this outing.

Thanks ***Mr Jaiger*** for showing us this place Razz

Pesky nano alright! Muggles make this one a bit awkward lol. TFTC

11-Jul-20
Took a long time, the view was very distracting! TFTC!

11-Jul-20
Took us a while but found it eventually. TFTC

09-Jul-20
Drove my daughter to a worksite nearby to pick up a truck and now picking a few caches to find before going home. Never knew this lookout existed and what a view. Found the cache easily. SL then returned as found.
A fav point for the view..

Found on 9 July 2020 at 2.50pm. TFTC, Mr Jaiger.

Out today to grab a few more caches.

27-Mar-20
Geohubby & I were a little bit early for school pickup (the last school pick up for quite a while I imagine!) so decided to have a look for this cache. I drive very close to here most weekdays but have never driven up this street. There's certainly some lovely houses in this street & a great little spot to stop & admire the view. The car park also seems to appear to be a P platers hang out for some reason but they were more interested in taking selfies than us. Took a couple of casual passes to make the find, log signed & replaced as found.
TFTC Mr jaiger

22-Mar-20
What an effort! Though it might have been in the bottom of the fence, so pulled out the camera, but no luck. Looked over, under, through, nothing! DD casually watches me searching and says, "uh, it's right here". Omg, face palm.

24-Feb-20
After a few days without a single find I had business on this side of the river tonight.
A short detour to collect a smiley here.
First place I checked with my fingers
Thank you for placing this geocache Mr Jaiger

16-Feb-20
Wow what a view! Nice easy find today. TFTC

04-Feb-20
Nice view.

Some nice houses around this area too.

Quickly found the cache. Log signed and replaced.

08-Jan-20
Used to come up here as a teenager. Now back with the Ferg kids. Took us a while but Ferg44 finally spotted something that didn’t quite blend in. Nice pit stop between northside errands. TFTC Smile

05-Jan-20
Out finding a few caches with the geograndkids. Next, we came to this one. I had looked for this one in my early days of caching, but had failed to find it. Today, it was a quick easy find. I managed to find a blank spot on the log and added my name. Sorry, I don't have another to replace it with. Hopefully, the next finder will have something with them. TFTC

05-Jan-20
Out and about caching on a very warm Sunday afternoon. Parked the car nearby and walked over to GZ. After a short search cache was located. TFTC Mr Jaiger

05-Jan-20
Attending an event later in the afternoon in Hamilton so collecting a few caches nearby. Our first stop this afternoon and a fairly quick find and sign - amazing views of the city - would be better at night! Thanks Mr Jaiger.

05-Jan-20
Log was full and a bit mushy. I hope the CO doesn't mind that I replaced it .

I went to school bear here so it brings back memories!

TFTC

04-Jan-20
Teeny tiny but good coordinates- where it said it would be. There was certainly some evidence others had been sneaking around it. Thanks!

30-Dec-19
Finally found the blighter! Attention to detail isn’t my thing - and that helps to find a cache like this!

Beautiful views this morning, even though it was incredibly hot already by 7 am.

Log is indeed full and needs replacement. My spares bag is at home or I would have popped one in.

TFTC - TB visit.

28-Dec-19
View is spectacular ! Who would have thought this even existed...
Anyway the reason for our visit is to add another smiley to our count ... we have to hit 200 before the year is out.
We thought this would be quick ... but that little cache gave us a run for our money. Apart from the fact that I was not really in the right spot ... potatochips101 quietly called me over to see the prize. What a sneaky hiding spot! Gotta love it.
Found with potatochips101 Logged as 3K.
TFTC
We really timed this well .. just now as we are writing this the place is being muggled. Phew!

28-Dec-19
Looking... looking...looking...
‘Huh, that looks a bit out of the ordinary... waittttt’

Upon arrival to gz there was not a single muggle in sight, but neither was the cache. After checking various places, Frannymfrog and I returned to the nearby seats to look through the previous logs. After searching and searching I had come up with nothing, so I decided to return to gz and search some more.

Looking... looking...looking...
‘Huh, that looks a bit out of the ordinary... waittttt’
The cache was soon in hand and Frannymfrog (who has the geobag and pen) was called over to assist in the signing process, log is very, VERY full and needs to replaced but we managed to squeeze ‘3K’ on there. Cache was then returned to its hiding spot.

We returned to the car to log our finds, and whilst doing this, a muggle arrived to stretch and a car drove past!

The view is SPECTACULAR!

TFTC! Found with Frannymfrog logged as 3K!

22-Nov-19
Quick easy find thanks
Coordinates were spot on

22-Nov-19
Log is in tatters and full

26-Oct-19
Eventually found the tiny little thing... More like a nano! Great views, will have to come back to see them at night time one day. Tftc!!

23-Oct-19
Geokids and I went up here as part of a holiday geocaching run. We were astounded by the local architecture. We got a glimpse of the cruise ship we would spend the next week on. Sadly, didn't get a glimpse of the cache. We were muggled out rather quickly.

02-Oct-19
No success and it was a pretty muggle-free zone! Oh, the heartbreak.

29-Sep-19
We love this spot! Love the view, love that is tucked away here and seems relatively unappreciated and loved looking at all the houses we'll never be able to afford! We enjoyed the drive and seeing a bit of the other side of town to where we usually hang out, even though Mrs STW lived only a few hundred metres from here as a teenager (and never knew it was here! ). Thanks for the cache- hope you replace the log soon. We've attached a photo log.

30-Aug-19
Really good hide here! Log strip very full and could not sign so going to send a photo with this log. Log is a bit water damaged and needs replacing. Other than that all is good with the cache. Tftc!

Jumping around town today looking for numbers for the latest souvenir! Tftc

03-Jul-19
Too clever for me

05-May-19
Fantastic view and with coming for that. Right on sunset and really busy so the nano eluded us

22-Mar-19
Tftc

14-Mar-19
Neded to take photographic proof. Impossible to sign. Thankyou for the exercise and view, cheers bmtc18

05-Mar-19
Surprised myself by only taking a couple minutes to find this one once my GPS sorted itself out.

Unfortunately, I was unable to sign the log. As mentioned previously, the log is full and–due to getting soaked a few times–rather delicate. Needs replacing ASAP! TFTC!

24-Feb-19
Even with a sizeable break in the muggle flow I have a love hate relationship with Nanos. Another time I will get you.

22-Feb-19
Out with Alison and Shannon whilst visiting from Canada when she found this little devil.
That's for the cache.
Could not sign the log as it is full and wet.

14-Jan-19
A nice view of the city. I had to wait for the council truck to leave, but a quick find once they were gone. Log is full and will need replacing

12-Jan-19
As cute as small, thanks Smile

20-Dec-18
Got muggle out by the girls in blue

08-Oct-18
On my morning walk and didn’t have a pen. But good find. Tftc

17-Sep-18
Thwarted by Council muggles who parked there. The whole 1.5 hours I was up there doing my crossword I had 10mins to look. Only my second nano so no luck Lucky I had the time to waste as waiting on car servicing, but disappointed. Next time....

10-Aug-18
Got it this time. Squeezed into 10 and 11. TYFTC

28-Jul-18
After a couple of digs at this previously, the muggles have enough time to make this frustrating spot a smiley. Tftc

19-Jul-18
Found in the second attempt. How did I miss you little fella?
Tftc

17-Jul-18
Today is my last chance to find enough caches to claim the 'Wold Turtle' Souvenir. Big Grin
So I left home at 4 am and arrived at my first cache for the day just before 6 am. Surprised
A couple of caches down I am now in this area finding the odd cache or two. Razz
It took a bit of searching but I found it. Smile
Now on to the next one before heading to Nudgee to go kayaking. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

11-Jul-18
Easy find - in daylight! Came here yesterday after work on dusk. And had to wait for muggle who introduced himself as a beginner freelance photographer to finish up. Then the muggles just kept on coming! I tried to scout around in dark without being obvious but GPS (iPhone) refused to settle and kept jumping from 3m to 9m and pointing in all sorts of directions. Left frustrated because I knew I’d be home late for dinner (hubby cooking & he hates that!). But the attached photo is from last night’s spectacular view. Actually taken from nearby St Margaret’s Anglican Girls’ School. Today it is on verge of rain. And even given that there were STILL muggles here! Go away people! But managed to find cache easily in daylight. And final muggle (who had been sitting in his van) just drove off. So I have signed log & replaced cache. I signed under #22 on log because log book is completely full. And the ink in that spot was now illegible. However, conscious that I signed over someone else’s log.

07-Jul-18
As a quick stop on my way home, I was dumbfounded at the exceptional view at this little spot, and I'm not just talking about the couple of joggers that just passed me at the top.

While admiring the view at GZ, out of habit I let out an "ahhh wow. I can see my house from here". For the record I couldnt, infact my house was in the opposite direction but close enough right?

Thanks for bringing me to this great little spot. I just wish I could bring another woody with me so I could take another one of our famous photos.
-TFTC. ~CODY

06-Jul-18
Yeea! Pretty easy find. Thanks for these views! Greetings from Finland. P.S. logbook is full.

04-Jul-18
Yay yay yay

04-Jul-18
YES YES YES got it beautiful view TFTC

24-Jun-18
This was my closest to home unfound cache. It took a bit of searching, and ignoring the muggles who were doing stretches. I took the opportunity while there to get the clue needed for a puzzle cache. Really great views from here. TFTC

16-Jun-18
An early quick run about for me, and despite dawn only recently occurring, I had the place to myself to start with. Muggles came and went as I searched before finally spotting the blighter. Pleased to have achieved this one.
Thanks for placing this cache, Mr Jaiger. Found in good condition.
Cool *{Overall find #5754}* Cool

28-Apr-18
Muggles drinking beer dammit.

26-Apr-18
Many muggles. Maybe another day.

12-Apr-18
Not a muggle to be seen today. Cool

08-Apr-18
Excessive muggle activity prevented a good search. ( 4 th DNF in a row on my ride so far this morning)

01-Apr-18
Took me a little while but this is the smallest nano I've found. Thank you. Log book is full but I squished my name in. Walking back to car and loads of muggles came. Lucky. X.

21-Mar-18
Out and about with 1MinnieMoo and wombles collecting a few smileys on a rainy Wednesday. It took us quite a while to hunt this one down but were slapping ourselves once we did! It's really not that hard.... I think the rainy weather had dulled our geosenses Razz

Thanks for the view and smiley Mr Jaiger Big Grin

I have always loved coming to this lookout, so many memories!

21-Mar-18
This one took us quite a while to find, though when we did we wondered how we’d missed it!
I took some photos of the “view” that I doubted the existence of but then after we located the cache- a city had appeared!

17-Feb-18
this one took me way too long, considering the options. me and nano's. nano's and i. sigh. it's a love-hate thing.
HA! In Your Face, Nano! I Found You This Time Round! Booyah.
oh, log is waay totally full, by the way.
man i love actually finding these little bastards.
thanks Mr Jaiger for supplying that. and the view! great view.

04-Feb-18
Will have to come back.

26-Jan-18
Long roll out to find a spot on the log ! No room left!! Needs new log please . Quick find. Impressive views!!! Tftc

26-Jan-18
Arrived to find two cars connected by an umbilical cord while the owners were perched on the nearby seats and fence. Don't think they knew what to do with jump leads . . .

Well it was another multi waypoint that bought me to this area and this cache just happened to be in the same spot. Not bad when you get two for the price of one. Thanks Mr Jaiger for bringing me to another spectacular view of Brissy and worthy of a FP.

25-Jan-18
Found between muggle salvos. Stunning view here, its a wonder no one has tried to strongarm the council to build a mansion here! TFTC

24-Jan-18
I had a chance to look here after I did a quick pick up close by. At first I searched where my iPhone was guiding me but after reading the logs I realised that I was a bit too high up. Thanks for showing me this quiet spot.

16-Dec-17
Wow nice view city and gateway bridge

09-Dec-17
Pesky bloody nano, lots of hiding places so took a while. Lovely view from here. Tftc

19-Nov-17

Well that was a disappointing muggle out. Why are you still here!!!??? Will return.

04-Nov-17
Thanks for the interesting piece of local history. What a view!
Log has dried out and we found a spot to sign. Smile
Thanks for luring us up here with your cache Mr Jaiger.

20-Oct-17
An easy find today. Visiting Brisbane for the day as we fly to Christchurch early tomorrow morning to the Oamaru event.
The log is full and very wet following the recent rain.

Thanks

07-Oct-17
found it! After a while geokid found it. Note that it needs maintenance because log is wet.

18-Sep-17
TFTC... 18/9/17 Out with Tough Mother bennyboppers for a find homeward bound. Took a bit of looking but eventually able to sign it off while enjoying the view. Good spotting by bennyboppers.
