Out for a few in the area, but no luck finding this one today. Have now applied recommended offsets. Found the mound but no cache on the ground.
Today I found three recently solved puzzles, all of which I needed a nudge, as I do with most puzzles. Knowing that it can be very busy on weekends, I came out today making an early start to avoid the worst of the heat. The CO kindly helped me with this one. Very clever. After finding two caches off Gap Creek Road, I drove to Walkabout Creek and decided to do a circuit walk to get my steps up. I saw some interesting things on my walk including prayer flags and a Sistema box containing the Earth Angel. There were coordinates for the next one - Air Angel - 40km away near Caboolture. Never heard of this before. At gz, I looked in all of the trees but once I spread my search, I found the cache about 10m out, near the turkey mound as mentioned by others. Logbook signed and replaced as found. All good here. Tftc
Some early progress gave me false confidence that this puzzle would being easier than a 4 star rating. In the end I spent a lot of time starring at this puzzle, journeying down different dead end pathways, before I finally found the right destination. They were some very satisfying coords to plug into my map.Finding the cache also turned out to take me more attempts than expected. My first attempt was the last stop on a day's itinerary spent collecting some other caches in the area. After a short search in fading light I concluded that I'd need to concede to coming back another day. On the second attempt, some tips from previous from previous logs and residents helped to expand my search to find the right home for this little container.
Today I was out for walk DAguilar National Park to grab a few caches. At least today it wasnt to hot. This was next one on the list. We looked and looked for this cache. I contacted the CO to see if he would like us to replace the cache. Of the answer was yes. georode thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for geocaching community enjoyment.
Strolling around the back waters of Enoggera today to find a couple of target caches, hopefully we will collect a full bag of goodies. This cache we searched for for quite a while before referring to previously logs and come to the conclusion that the cache is missing again. The local homesteader is no longer here and the bush turkey nest is at GZ. With the COs permission we replaced the container & log.
Today, I was headed west to get my step count up, collect some previous DNF's and provide a few lonely caches with some love.
No problems solving this one when it first came out and I had visited here before without success - so this one fell into the DNF category.
I arrived here today in light drizzle. The nearby shelter was thankfully empty and tno warm bongs found this time (see my DNF from 2018!). After a good search, I resorted to reading some logs. Many thanks to Ruzzlez, who provided very precise instructions for this one. All I can add to his log, is that the cache is overhead.

Out doing a few laps of Enoggera Dam on the bike. First lap and i failed to come up with anything here. I stopped for coffee and a snack before the second lap and reached out to a previous finder who had replaced the then missing cache. Armed with a little more information I stopped once more during the second lap.
That said I was a little elevation focused but found myself on a turkey nest mound. I happened to glance down and spied a cache like object in the mound. Lucky.
I have returned the cache to a hanging position on the edge of the mound.

30 min round and round and round and round and round. Used the photo hoping that would help. Nothing but the leanto accommodation on site.
Some places that I still have not visited, but after this morning I can tick off Enoggera dam.
Found thanks to a previous log.
Was planning for more caching today but a nasty fall put and end to that
Thank you for hiding this geocache georode

I really liked this puzzle. Something I’m interested in. And it was solved a long time ago. Out today with KerriMG so suggested we go find this one. Reading the previous logs made this a quick find of the replacement cache. TFTC georode
Over the last few months I have spent more time in front of the computer solving puzzles and updating my GSAK data base, rather than actually being out in the fresh air finding geocaches. Today I finally mustered some motivation and headed out for a walk along some of the tracks around Enoggera Reservoir, to pick up some solved puzzles and other caches of interest.
This puzzle I managed to nut out some time ago, when travel was actually possible, but getting around to visiting either coincided with bad whether or periods when the cache was absent. Knowing that the cache had been recently replaced gave me the impetus to head out today.
Arriving at GZ it took a while to home in on the cache, even with the assistance of the recent image. After signing my name in the replacement logbook I spent some time looking for the original container without luck.
Hopefully one day soon we can recommence travel to various parts of the world. TFTC

A rather clever puzzle, with some information deduced, but also I needed a nudge from the CO. This was a method that I hadn't seen before (perhaps a variation of it that I can think of back in SA), and so it was interesting to discover.
This morning, with COVID-19 lockdown in effect but fitness still allowed, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I took our mountain bikes, and headed for Enoggera Dam. We only ended up riding the top (northern) section of the dam, when the hilly terrain got the better of us, and we returned back to our car.
We arrived at GZ and had a good look around. As the previous visitors mentioned, there was evidence of a makeshift house here, but no one was about today. We had a look around GZ, but I too suspected that the cache was gone. I had already talked with the CO about replacing this cache on their behalf, and so subsequently, I had brought a spare cache with me. From the small clearing / makeshift tarp structure, and walk towards the lake by 3-4 metres, you'll come across a large tree, and the cache is hanging at about shoulder height in a nearby small tree (a photo of the container attached). Thanks georode for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

DNF here. Someone has set up home right at the GZ - they were not there when we dropped by for a visit, but neither was the cache. Have sent CO a picture of the area.
Heading out this way from our adventures today
I really wanted to find this one

Fun little puzzle. Found quickly today as the container was in full view lying on the ground. Although it blended in well with what's around. I tucked it into a hidey hole so hopefully it won't get muggled again.
We were in the reserve today for a bit of a walk along with grabbing a few mystery caches that we have solved. Heading off the track here we were coming up with nothing, well wait a minute, we did come across a bong, beer bottles and an old purse, so by all accounts we could have been having a party in here. What we were actually looking for though was not falling into our hands.
Packing the GPS away we expanded our search until eventually ‘I found it’ was called out.

Friday. Mr OC and myself were out today to collect some of the nearby caches. On the trail to this cache, we came across a magnificent huge goanna. I tried to take some pics, but it was having none of that! It moved on nice and slow. Having said that, had it moved nice and slow my way, I would have moved not so slowly the other way. I reckon that fellow would have been easily near a metre or a bit more. I’d been here previously and had scoured this entire area without any reward. Today, we had another very good look (just to make sure), and nope no cache could be found. We have left a replacement container in the meantime, waiting for a more formal cache to be replaced at some time in the future. Confirmation of this being ok will be sent to the CO. It’s a lovely area, so would be a shame to lose this puzzle and cache location.
This was the 19th of 20 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***georode***, for showing us this place.

Out for the day with Slow Puncture, who had previously visited this cache and were unable to locate the container, which can safely be presumed missing. Today we had an opportunity to revisit this area, and avenge their previous DNF. A new container with waterproof log has been placed, and the CO contacted, who has approved the replacement.
Future finders are looking for a mint tin above ground level.

Friday. Slow Puncture was out and about today in this area. I’d solved this one some time ago and was keen to go for the find today. No luck for me. Tried looking at the offset mentioned by a previous finder in their log and trapsed all over the nearby scrub turkey mound. Looked in all the spots where I thought you could put a cache container in. I only found lots of rubbish here however Looks like some local youths decided this was the spot to chill out.
This was the 1st of 4 DNFs we had on this trip.
Thanks ***georode***, for showing us this place anyway, hopefully we will be back!

With a few hours free this morning, I thought I would take a walk in the area and collect a few of the caches that have sprung up in the area since I was here last.
Have had this interesting puzzle solved for a while. I recognised the puzzle theme and quickly worked out what was needed to produce a green tick on the checker.
Arriving at GZ, a quick search revealed no obvious hiding places, so I read a few logs and soon enough applied an offset. Thanks Iolanthek! Moving slightly, I now recognised the turkey nest noted in other logs. There was a lot of rubbish at GZ - the location had obviously been used for a party very recently. In fact, the bong I found in a likely cache hiding spot was still warm (or maybe that was my imagination) .
In any event, after a quick search of obvious spots that Venn might have tucked a container away, I felt that i was wasting my time and moved on.
Will keep this one on watch.

This was missing last time I was here. Glad to make the find now. Found it on the ground. Shoved it back where I think it should go. Shame to see so much rubbish at GZ. Next finder might like to brig a rubbish bag. TFTC
The cache is back on track. Thanks to Brother Colin for supplying a new container.
Today was a maintenance day of my On Your Bike Series of geocaches just down the road.
As I knew I was going to be in the area I set about solving a few nearby puzzles. [^]
I recognised parts of the puzzle but a little hint as to what to do with them.
OH, that was not what I expected Eventually I had a set of co-ords that the checker liked.
T-tech wanted to come for the ride (and confirm the GZ) so out with the MTB's we went.
So then I contacted the CO and offer to replace the container, he agreed, and so a new container is in place. [^]
Thanks for the cache

Moments after I left GZ, I had a call from a cacher who has previously find this cache, and who very kindly sent me a photo of the cache at GZ. I went back to where I'd been to look again. (Incidentally, IolantheK's coords are absolutely spot on.)
I can, sadly, confirm without doubt that this cache is not where it should be. I also had a scrounge around on the ground nearby and still couldn't find it.
This one needs some owner intervention, please. It's gone.

I will check GZ next weekend and amend coordinates and replace the container if required.

A great puzzle but seems like a needle in a haystack (or turkey nest) at GZ. Even with the hints and coordinates from the previous finders two sets of eyes couldn't spot it during 30 minutes or more of searching.
A good hint is required (and this also might save the area from too much damage).

I solved the puzzle when it was published but knew the Kenmore crew would be onto it so didn't bother going after the FTF.
Today I spent half an hour searching around taking into account offsets and clues from previous finders' logs before realising that I didn't come here to crawl around through lantana and wait awhile searching for a tiny little container with no hints so I'm moving onto the next one.
Thanks anyway

After reading the cache page properly, it was clear what needed to be done. Using some more google services and some nice numbers appeared. At GZ we packed the phones away and checked the usual hides. Oh, wait, there it is. That was incredible cache sense kicking in (or just pure luck). Not really sure why the CO placed the container this way...

Knowing that I was going to be in the area, looked at a few of the new puzzles that have appeared yesterday. With an idea of what to do, the first part of the puzzle was quickly solved but what to do with this information!!
Spent some time to accomplish a few household chores when an idea came to mind that was well worth exploring further. With a particular area in mind the first coordinate came out. Looked at all the other spots and I had a full set of coordinates that the checker liked.
On a cool morning, teamed up with Gcoven to search for a few caches in the Enoggera Dam area. Arriving at GZ it just started to sprinkle rain. At least things remained cool searching near the bush turkey's nest. Using the off set coordinates of IolantheK (thank you!!), ended right on the small container which was hanging there. Thanks for the puzzle georode.

Should have logged this cache ages ago
Out after coming up with some numbers with IolantheK, and then went out looking for it in the dark, (not the smartest move).
After looking for a longish time we PAFed teamtinder and he gave us a direction to search [^]
With that info we soon made a find [^]

When this came out last weekend, I had the first go at solving it, and knew what I needed, but just couldn't work out how to make that work. Later, T-Tech took a look and came up with the right idea, and we soon had a very nice set of numbers.
Fast forward to tonight and we set off in the dark, torches ablaze. Knowing the area was a great help, and we had no trouble making our way around to GZ. The last bit of bush bashing was tricky, with a fair bit of circle work until the GPSr settled, but we eventually saw it count down to zero. We searched and searched for quite a few minutes before realising that the size of the cache was going to make this very difficult More searching, widening the area, beginning to get a tad frustrated, and then I read Teamtinda's log about finding the cache quite a few metres from GZ... oh wow... so okay, yeah, I give up We put in a PAF call and tinda gave us a clue and direction, and sure enough the cache was about 9 metres west of GZ. I suggest an offset of S -0.003 and E -0.006. TFTC, georode.

I believe I was first to solve this puzzle but was in bed and too sleepy to go anywhere. I figured that unless a certain Night Ninja ran out there, I'd be pretty certain to pick up an FTF in the morning.
Predictably, the Night Ninja struck!
Pleasingly, though, he then invited me to come out with him in the evening and we visited this one on the way home. I made the actual GZ to be perhaps 8-9m away from my phone's target area, so in the end I was quite glad I didn't trek out here at midnight, as I reckon it could have taken hours to find. A micro in the bush is always going to be very difficult and hints are a good idea so that the environment doesn't get shredded by searchers.
TFTC and the nice puzzle where a solution came to me quite readily... great minds etc.

The last step was the trickiest as my phone played follow the bouncy arrow and lead me nowhere near the cache. Thankfully CO was kind enough to supply a big nudge in the right direction and after putting the phone aside I managed to track down this little fella.
I was trying to see if my phone would stop bouncing enough for me to get a correction, but the horse flies drove me off before I could get something sane. So maybe some kind finder will leave a couple of hints in the log so you don't have to feel like a turkey. I know I felt quite close to turkey-hood just before I made the find.
It was a lovely morning to be out and about near the reservoir. I was the first in the car park, but when I was leaving it was already pretty busy with joggers and swimmers taking some morning exercise. I pretty much got the dawn light on the walk in. Then, because I chose the less optimal path I had a little trek through the lantana to GZ where much searching and a little CO begging ensued.
The puzzle part I really enjoyed. Having pretty relevant experience I quickly saw step one and was puzzling on the second part when my truly beloved got home from rehearsal. After the post-rehearsal chat I showed her the puzzle and her first idea turned out to be spot on and we soon had numbers falling out.
I was thinking of heading out straight away, but I figured an early morning assault would still be soon enough, so I got a few hours of sleep instead. Now of course I am perky and awake for my day of work .
Thanks for a fun puzzle and cache georode!
