I have decided to archive the cache and open up the area for someone to hide a new cache.

I have picked up the container from barnic and done some container and log book maintenance.
When the nearby construction work has been completed the cache will be replaced and enabled.

with some help from the CO I found this today and with permission from Bob removed this for safe keeping due to near by construction
I've been solving BFE puzzles on and off for months now with the view to targeting as many finds as possible on a days' caching in Bobland in the northern suburbs (mostly in a broad band centered along Grand Junction Road and Golden Grove Road). Wandered down the dodgy dead-end street to locate the cache, finding a truck parked nearby. Managed a surreptitious retrieval, but very relieved to head back out unnoticed. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Bob from Elsewhere!
After attending the "not a geocaching pub lunch" on a not so nice day I headed out north with mogni, sir_spectre and allister w to find a few BFE caches and some others that we happened to be going past. A lot of them I had not solved so it was a mammoth task the next day to try and solve them and I managed around half and needed help with the others. A fun day was had and we didn't get too wet.
Another one on to the pile to be solved when I get a hint. Another quick find once we were at GZ. [^]
Thanks for the cache BFE.

found after the " not a geocaching pub lunch in the city ", since no event are getting published because of covid 19. found with mogni, Allister w and jj52. The weather was poor but only got wet but not soaked by the end of the afternoon. quick find.
After a non geocaching pub lunch in the city Sir Spectre, mogni, JJ52 and I went for a drive north to find some caches. Just over 20 caches later we made our way home to the south. A good day with the odd rain shower to keep us clean. TFTC Bob
Another BobFEstival - got myself a leave day and a reasonable mild day after the scorcher of a heatwave yesterday. Used the opportunity to sweep the area.
Another toughie from Bob - you got to learn your conversions for this one.
Thanks for the cache, Bob

Heading out to dry creek for the third week of rugby finals and of course that meant that I had to pick up a few caches as well. Despite the showers that occasionally plagued the day I was able to make the most of the few hours of sunshine late in the afternoon. I have always wondered why there never seemed to be many caches out this way, until I started solving puzzles and then began to make sense. With so many unfound caches so close to each other I churned through the finds, winding my ways through the back streets. All caches were found in good condition and the logs were quickly signed.

Tonight, I decided to head north to Bob land and collect some puzzles in the pouring rain followed by some forks of lighting, is this a miracle or the development of an ice age? Cause in Adelaide it never rains! Followed y the log cast event (number three) a huge turn out of 4 people, guess the rain kept people inside.
Thanks for the cache

Found It!
Step 1 is easy. I know Bob maths. Step 2 is just obscure. How did Bob dream that up? That needed a hint from Bob...
A quick find at GZ tonight before the event though!

This puzzle is a prime example of overthinking things to the max. When my mind cleared the solution was simplicity itself. At GZ there was plenty of graffiti (but a far cry from street art), no people and once well hidden cache. TFTC BFE.

While the Style Wall series has caused me a lot of grief, this one was not as bad as some but still exasperating. A BFE truism got me past step 1 but the next step had me stumped until a nudge had me headslapping once again. Forgot another typical BFE obscure step that when applied gave coordinates and got geochecker to agree. Into the TBF queue till the right moment.
This afternoon I had meetings in the area that finished early and made a small detour to GZ where I parked at GZ and with the engine running quickly hopped out, located a cache in the first place I looked, which was lucky as it was starting to bucket down. Signed the log and quickly replaced in its hide. Back into the dry of the car smiling now that this is now off the map.

A replacement cache with permission from the CO.
A nearby car was slowly driving down the road towards us,
completed a U-turn in a nearby business entrance and waited for us to exit before following us out.
Not sure what they were doing, hopefully they just took a wrong turn.
Glad to cross this cache off the list BFE

With the blessing of the CO we replaced this one today! A plastic loop is attached to aid with extraction! Thanks Bob for the hide!!!
Continuing our caching experience with CPwanderer & Phoenix flare into Bob land.
We were fairly sure we knew where it should be, but no cache was to be had even with TOTT.
Guess we'll be back BFE

No luck here. Checker verified we were in the correct position. Either its gone or it has been pushed way in ........................... bugger!!!
Out for a big day of geocaching with Brisal5, Anymules and KiwiOzzie. With these puzzle solvers on board I knew I was in for a big day of grabbing caches as well as many giggles (mainly me). Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment and adding to the adventure.
Out for a day out with Brisal5, Mogni and KiwiOzzie.
Always good to tick of yet another solved BFE.

I thought i had a reel clear idea of what to do Witt this one but no reel clear numbers would come out.
I thought i must have caught a reel epidemic.
Then one night i say down worn a reel clear mind and lo and behold some reel clear numbers reelly appeared out of the reel fog.
This morning i made the reel easy fond in a spot that feels reely familiar.

Out for a drive for a couple of hours today in the industrial heartlands to find a few on my solved puzzle list. I am sure that I drove past quite a few more that I am yet to attempt to solve, but there is only so much looking at photographs, guessing words and numbers and converting to and from bases that I can cope with at a time. Another very familiar location. Last time I was here late at night, but it even feels unsafe in the middle of the day. Thanks BFE for the puzzle and the cache.
I remeber coming here for a archived puzzle many years ago, found in the first place we looked adired the murals before heading down the road TFTC Bob From Elsewhere
Had a hunch where this maybe. I did try to solve this one, but couldn't make the leap after getting a few sets of numbers....
Checked out my hunch on our way home tonight and was rewarded with a smiley!
Now just have to reverse-engineer the result to get a tick!

Thanks

I had 2 hours to kill between finishing work and attending an event in the Badlands. With some 20 odd BFE caches still to collect this was a good opportunity to put a bit of a dent into this list.
This was a very familiar location to me. I had been here a number of times before (not quite 3015 though).

I'd love to see uncle Bob out there with a spray can and hanky over his face. Bob has a lot of hidden talent in a spray booth. I'd say all of the fumes inhaled over the years goes a long way to explaining the stuff he dreams up. A long way.... [^]
Thanks to Bob From Elsewhere and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Please excuse my generic log. I flew into Adelaide today. Some of your puzzles were far too difficult for me to solve but others I was able to make progress with, although I admit that a local friend came in handy when I needed some guidance. I explored for three hours this afternoon and it proved to be the perfect quiet time to log the finds. Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into your mystery caches; it made for a fun adventure.
Finally out in BFE territory to grab a couple I had solved.
The first time I saw this wall was in an old graffiti magazine I had.
Google street view still shows the wall painted over 10 years ago.
A few new layers of paint on these wall now. Some more colour in an otherwise dull place.
Thanks Bob. I enjoyed taking some photos at GZ.

Awesome artwork!
Once we'd deciphered the symbols from the wall spray, we were right on track and it was a very quick translation to have a puzzle solution.
This cache one was #5 of 11 caches for the afternoon and the 4th of 10 BFE puzzle caches to bring LoftyReasons back into **Bobvana** on a hot 41°C day.
TFTC Bob.

A warm evening out with a Rat an Owl and a Mr Brizal. Once again the clever Rat did the working out and made the find. Sometimes you have to wonder why all that talent at GZ is hiding. Good to see proper use of the talent though instead of vandalism. Thanks for yet another Mr Bob.
The Rat, Snake, Owl and Brisal5 met up for a night run.
It was a lovely night to cache around the burbs.
I managed the fourth green tick on the puzzle.
A joint Bronze on this one.
I made the quick find at GZ.
Another one off the list, getting ever closer to Bob Nirvana. TFTC

Owl's final cache for the evening. (She has to get up early tomorrow!) This one required the assistance of the enthusiastic Mrs Rat to solve. It's handy having a friend that close to Bobnirvana! Only one more puzzle, a trad and a multi to go. (For Mrs Rat - Owl is way off!) Interesting location.
S.A. Sewer Rats are fast approaching Bob Nirvana. In an effort to help them achieve this grand slam of geocaching splendor I have been working away at the Latest BFE puzzles in collaboration with them for the past few months. Having now got solutions for all they had remaining a date was set for a conquest of Black Hill and to collect the remaining caches. That was the 30th December. The good Doctor Owl joined us. But after conquering the Hill we were too tired to finish the final three puzzles. So today we met up again, this time with Black Adders to see if we could the Rats a little closer.
This was a very quick find for the Snake. Boy I was still parking when he had the cache in hand. Thanks for another puzzle and Cache Bob from elsewhere. This is actually better than looking at a blank fence! I think the Rat only has 1 puzzle, 1 multi and 1 trad left to reach Reel Nirvana. I think I am still in just a Reel Nice Place. [:o)]

I am still trying to work out why that is an industrial thing. I know it is a thing but why is it an industrial thing? Deja Vu.
My first attempt had me in Antarctica! Now I got the third green tick again. Twice in two days on BFE puzzles. On the list for tomorrow too.
Is there a Centre that Victims of BFE can attend for counselling?

**"Use a multi step method to convert the puzzle on the industrial wall below to the coordinates where the cache is hidden."**
Hey I reckon that I can do that.
So let's see. What to do?
Step 1: Get the characters from the graffiti on the image - results A and B
Step 2: Do a standard BFE conversion with each set - results C and D
Step 3: Seek out and locate the secret extra character set - result E
Step 4: Do a different (less common but still BFE-endorsed) conversion of E - result F
Step 5: Perform a BFE endorsed arithmetical procedure with C and F - result G
Step 6: Perform the same BFE endorsed arithmetical procedure with D and F - result H
Step 7: Add the appropriate spacing and decimal points to both G and H - results I and J
Step 8: Convert I and J to the correct format to use in the checker - result South K East L
Step 9: Check the location of South K East L on Google maps - all good - a tree near the State Hockey Centre at Gepps Cross well within the 3km radius from the posted coordinates
Step 10: Confidently enter South K and East L into the geochecker
Step 11: Stare in disbelief at the frownie response [?]
Step 12: Try some variants allowing for some possible alternate last digits from steps 7 and 8.
Step 13: Redo the maths from step 1 onwards - more than once.
Step 14: Try a few more variants with no success - frownie count into double figures. [?] [:(!]
Step 15: Take deep breaths and then go to complain to Janet.
Step 16: Very reluctantly discard welded-on strategy which, despite its logic and elegance, has the single major failing of being wrong. [xx(]
Step 17: Revisit step 1 - results A' and B' - hmmm
Step 18 through 21 : apply completely different BFE approved strategies - results K' and L'
Step 22: Check South K' East L' in google maps - looks ok.
Step 23: Confidently (again) enter South K' East L' into checker
Step 24: Get smilie result and GZ message from Bob - Woohoo! [^]
Step 25: Sit down to dinner with Janet - her famous post-Christmas turkey, ham and leek pie
Step 26: After dinner, clear plates, wash up etc.
Step 27: Confirm with Janet all good to head out to the Boblands.
Step 28: Check all appropriate equipment loaded in R4V4.
Step 29: Head to GZ
Step 30: Park and walk to GZ
Step 31: Retrieve cache using the BFE approved method
Step 32: Sign blank logbook. Note B&J BFE temporary mystery Nirvana re-establshed again.
Step 33: Replace all as found.
Step 34: Drive R4V4 home
Step 35: Answer Janet's raised eyebrow query with a three word phrase
Step 36: Write log and thank Bob for his 51st puzzle cache for 2016
Simples
Errr, you probably do not need to complete **all** these steps....
