On approach we scared some youths away from close by. Couldn't find cache so may be worth a check by CO

An adventure with the geokids. Tried to avoid muggles, but I'm sure cache is safe with the COs friends - the monster bull ants looking after it! Poor geoson had one of the biggest ones running up his shirt. Tftc fuzzyant!!!

A good one for the geokid to find. Thanks for the cache

Another detour and another find. This one had a sense of de Ja vu, a funny incident occurred not far from here when we collected the previous caches in this area. No dramas today though,

A really cool location! I was quite intrigued about all the stumps here, it certainly is a random formation!
We met some very interesting people at this cache, it was a bit bizarre....

Firstly there was a teenager riding a small motorbike up and down the footpath, which is quite illegal so lets hope he doesn't get caught doing that.

Then we also saw a Metal-Detector Guy who was trying to look for some sort of treasures? He came over and showed us the coins and Hot Wheel cars he had dug up with his detector. Interesting...

Thanks fuzzyant, a good location and cache Smile

This one was published while I was visiting down the other end of town, and it was found by the time I noticed it, so - as it was within dog walk distance from home, I decided to save it for a day when I didn't have to drive anywhere ... just perfect for my usual Tuesday evening "walk the dog while I talk to Mum on the phone" ... even better when I didn't even need to use my phone/GPS/anything to find it - just walked along the river with the dog, and stopped at the familiar location and looked in a few likely spots and found it (while my mum was telling me all about how I should be really careful of snakes and things if I was going to be looking around in rocks and logs and long grass in this hot weather - lol)
- I had a fair idea that I knew exactly where it was as soon as I read the description, and confirmed that when I looked on the map in satellite view ... because I too had found that particular hiding spot - a few weeks earlier, and had been planning on hiding a cache there ... but I hadn't done that yet - lol
TFTC - saved me having to hide one there - lol (and gave me one more close to home daily find Smile
btw ... possibly a good thing it wasn't me who hid one here - I was trying to think up a particularly annoying puzzle (or possibly a cache and half a dozen decoys, or an evil multi that makes everyone walk a long way back and forth before the GZ turns out to be right near the start) to suit the odd name I thought of when I found this odd spot Smile
Oh - I picked up the TB too Smile

12813. A nice quiet Christmas Day allowed me to get out for a few cache finds in the lovely weather !

Second find for the day. Growing up in this region I know this area extremely well, and so parked nearby and made the quick find at a familiar GZ. At least one previous cache was hidden here. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.

Thanks again fuzzyant !!

We decided to treat ourselves and take today off work (no more work until next year - yay!) so of course we took the opportunity to find a "few" caches. We loaded up the car with Saf's bike and The Woofer, and arrived at our destination on the dot of 6AM. Over 6 hours later, sore, hot, and with 31 caches found, we decided that might be enough, and headed home to our air-conditioning! We left something small in each one, where possible, and only had 2 DNFs. Not a bad run! Smile

A quick and easy find - TFTC! Smile

ent on a post dinner caching mission with Bobl27 and Hypohippo to collect a few newly popped up caches in Belconnen that have spoilt my suburbs of smiles!

HypoHippo got to GZ first and overlooked the obvious - he is out of practice! Left the TBs for another cacher to grab. TFTC

*dropped a couple of trackables in

*put some more swap items in
(please ensure you swap for equal value for them)

I am on a bit of a mission to improve the stocks of swap items in cache's i.e. I'm trying to add items to cache's that have none, or if I take one. I might add two back. I really think this adds value to Geocaching especially for Children.

Thanks fuzzyant.

Black Bunny felt that he needed to grab a cache or two today so this one was on the radar. A quick park and grab after the muggles had cleared the area.

Thanks fuzzyant

#6067 - 17:50; After an afternoon of caching in Tuggeranong and Campbell, I had to drop a few things off to a mate in MacGregor and a couple of wines later, I stopped off to grab this cache on the way home. On arrival at GZ, I checked a couple of possibilities as I worked my way over to the cache and the find. Log signed, I collected a couple of GCs to keep moving as well. TFTC fuzzyant Smile

I decided to swing past on the way to an appointment and scored a *FTF* 1330 as a bonus. Definitely an interesting formation, wasn't too keen about sticking my hand down each one, but luckily the obvious one was soon spotted. Also glad the grass had been mowed!
Lots of loot in this one, was going to move a few of the geocoins along but decided to leave them. Hopefully the next finders can move them on. Sat for a bit and enjoyed the sunshine before I had to go.
Thanks for the cache

Arrived here to see a fellow cacher about to begin the search. The stormcatchers having made the first to find before us, congratulations! Was a short search with TE making the find while I was looking else where. Nice day to be outside caching and met a fellow friendly cacher. Thanks for the cache.

Just found a cache on the south side, and then decided to come and try this one! Just as I arrived Aquilus1 showed up, and the search began. Didn't take too long, and had the cache in hand. Nicely camoed. I have found a cache at exactly this spot before, but always nice to come back for another visit. After that had more of a chat with Aquilus1 (nice to meet you), and then headed home. Thanks for the cache fuzzyant!
