I am leaving the area and couldn't find anyone to adopt this cache, so I am archiving it.

Made our way around here getting the good harbour view along the way. At GZ we were a little confused by the hint but then just used normal geocaching cunning in the end to find it

25-Oct-20
Had some time this morning before the event so stopped off here to make a nice quick find. No flax bushes anymore so that made it easy

28-May-20
Nice view tide out

12-Feb-20
I stopped by and replaced the cache with one that has a waterproof log.

Enjoying some caching on a nice Sunday afternoon. Been a while since my last GROTTY cache, nice little park, TFTC

31-Aug-19
Today was another attempt to collect all the caches in the Papakura area. Know we will have to come back yet again. Got beaten by the tide for 3 of the caches in area. SLTFTC

31-Aug-19
In cahoots with Gap & Squiral an ABCDF4 spent the day in Auck seeking out
a few loose ends before attending the evening Event at Totara park.
Thanks to the Cos for the placements and variety of caches.

Nice easy find
1 more off our series

31-Aug-19
With Gap (of Fap and Gap), ABCDF4, and eyespyben... We were keen to investigate the nighttime event in Totara Park. In the meantime, we needed a few distractions to amuse ourselves. Finding some caches should do the trick...

It's always a happy day when the last of a long series of caches is found. This one completes our 100 Grottys - and in the scheme of Grotty-ness, this one was not too bad. We spied the overly familiar hide quite quickly, and returned it as found. When will we see other containers like this again? Thanks Agazo and TFTC.

Great find by Avondale girls Basketball team

15-Apr-19
Time for another wander round while my wife stays with some friends in Pukekohe. This was day 2 where I was torn between getting numbers or clearing an area. In either case I managed to pick up this cache and everything is all good here, TFTC Smile

So Easy

08-Mar-19
Another find before the rain. Had small plan for today and happy to get this one fairly easy. All good at GZ. Thanks!

06-Mar-19
Yay our first find! Thanks!

13-Oct-18
Stopped in here for a couple of GROTTYs on our journey today and had a nice little walk around the water to get to here. Knowing that If it's not a flax bush, then [it's] what's left went about having a nosey and soon had the cache in hand in a likely looking spot. All good here and completed the loop back to the car. TFTC

Stopped by today. Everything is just fine.

08-Aug-18
I had work this morning, down Manukau way, but when that finished up in the early afternoon I was free to find some hides before making the return journey back home. The rain stayed away until dark so I was able to make the most of the remaining daylight. My main goal this afternoon is to, finally, complete the GROTTY series of hides. I parked up on the street as the gate to the car park was looked, even though it was opening hours. After a short walk through the reserve I was soon at GZ. Not a flax bush in sight...just another type of fibrous, plant. Luckily, the cache ended up being a pretty quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!

05-Aug-18
Had a sinking feeling when I saw the hint but fortunately all was well in the end. I don't know whether there was a flax bush here once or not but there isn't anymore so need to look in one. Perhaps it's been poisoned or removed.

In the end Mrs Tuolei spotted this one so it was a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache.

08-Jul-18
That was my daily Cache for a lazy Sunday. Arrived at GZ my first thought was: Please don't ...
But after some time and two bloody fingers, I finally could find it's pretty easy spot! It's not even necessary to touch the sharp grass. Beautiful view by the way...
Thanks for hiding!

Out in the area with Merlot58 and Jag50 after the CITO nearby. Last cache for the day and thought we'd live to regret it when we saw GZ. However, it was not to be and was a rather straight forward find.

21-Apr-18
After attending a nearby CITO (by the same CO) we stopped to collect a few caches on our journey home. Approached GZ and our immediate thoughts were "Oh no! - Not in there! Agazo, you're a mean, mean CO." Fortunately the cache was quickly located and we were the first to sign the replacement log.

Took a look at this and simply threw my hands up in the air and walked away........

12-Feb-18
After the DNF, I stopped by to check on this cache. There was no cache in the correct spot, so I replaced it with a new one.
If the original has migrated, and you happen to find it, please let me know.

11-Jan-18
Continuing my wander whilst waiting to be picked up, but didn't have any success here.

25-Jun-17
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun

Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Smile Found ... knew that this cache was nearby, but had been saving it for when I needed one ... busy day at work, & late getting home, quick tea & out for a walk ... called in here & nabbed this one in the dark ... a bit wet & muddy under foot ... Mrs McMike2012 not too impressed in getting her new sneakers all muddy ... oh well, such is life ... we got the cache, so that's the important thing ... another hole filled in our calendar, so now down to single digit days remaining ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,538 for us.

05-Jun-17
As I was in the area today visiting a friend, I picked up a few caches along the way. I had to wait for a muggle to wander past before swooping in and making a nice quick find.

17-Apr-17
After having a blast the last week and getting back into the groove . . . . . I loaded the GPS and headed out to have some find time to myself today . . . . . . and thoroughly enjoyed it. So GLAD to have the gumboots in the boot today . . . . quick easy find for number one . . . . . . TFTC Smile

15-Apr-17
Had a wander around here, the grass wasn't too bad, kept my feet dry. The cache took me awhile to spot unfortunately, but so glad I didn't get another DNF for the day 4 is enough already. Cache found not in the flax or even in the Toi toi.

31-Mar-17
Another charming little spot that my dog is enjoying exploring.

17-Mar-17
After finishing up work commitments near the airport I had a few hours to myself so I headed off to find a few caches to the South. Ah ha! Spotted this one as I walked a bit past GZ. All good here. TFTC, Biggles.

27-Feb-17
After dropping junior cacher at cubs and with an hour to spare, I thought I'd just duck out & grab a cache. Did some bush wacking and some blood letting on this one before the cache was finally in hand. TFTC Smile

20-Feb-17
After some kind encouragement and help from the CO I came all the way back for another go....
This time I got it straight away !
No scratches, wounds or bloodloss this time !
Thanks Agazo !!!!!!

Out for a walk with the pound hound and made a quick find as we went past. Thanks.

06-Dec-16
Daniel somehow noticed the oddity that made finding the cache pretty easy. We did bush wack a bit before simplifying our approach! Tftc!

First cache for the day in Papakura and Drury; another Grotty ticked off the list. TFTC.

We were having an unusual child-free morning at home as the mini-cachers had spent the night at a friends house. We had just heard that they were taking the long way home via a few other newly released caches (they were staying with other team SEAC members) when this notification came out. We stopped only long enough to lock the door, but were still 3rd to get to the location. Fortunately the cache was still unfound, and Mr HeMaLuDy soon had his hands on it.

04-Dec-16
Found log to follow....

I had been running a few errands not too far away from this location but had returned home when the notification rang out for this one and a few others....
Mentioned this one to Mrs stik-a-crane who responded ...are you going to get it...I said naaahhh, we have a busy morning and an even busier afternoon.... Mrs then responded, you might as well as it is close by, and with that I was out the door....

Saw a bit of chatter about the other publications when the conversation turned to this one and the heart rate jumped .... oohh there might be a race now.... Arrived at GZ to notice there were no cars in sight... where was everyone I thought to myself....
Took the leisurely stroll to GZ and began searching... a few minutes later I hear another car door close and recognise mike-miss making his way to GZ...then a few moments later team HeMaLuDy join in the search... It was about now Mr HeMaLuDy makes the find after extending the search area...All signed in and heading back to the car when Mr NZT comes bounding down the path...is it found yet??? Sorry yip and returned....He too soon makes the find and joins us for a little debrief over looking the estuary...

{FTF} #119 joint with HeMaLuDy and mike-miss.

TFTC Agazo.

Shot out like a rocket when the notification came through. Got to the parking coords and spotted a familiar looking vehicle already parked up. Quickly made my way to GZ to find Stik-a-crane already there so joined in the search. Not long after, HeMaLuDy also joined us. Thankfully, cache located without too much difficulty for a joint FTF. A nice morning to be out and about, TFTC! Big Grin

Got the notifications for this new cache and thought as I was at home alone it would be good to go for a mad drive.

Driving from Beachlands is ALWAYS a handicap and today was no exception.

Arrived at GZ to see 3 familiar vehicles parked up already. Found all the usual suspects gathered around chatting with smurks on their face

Sure enough I was 10 minutes to late which was about the same time disadvanatge that I have from Beachlands. Never mind was great to catch up with everyone.

A good solid STC.
