A group of us geocachers (myself Loz47, Furbies, lillianz and PhantasmNZ) tried to find this guy, but had no luck unfortunately!
Logging the DNF so that we have a record of once being here, and can maybe return in the future to replace the blue face with a happy yellow one...

Had a look around the structure, but felt very exposed. Nothing was revealing itself.
After going the wrong way to get somewhere else, seen we were passing this one so stopped in to pick it up. TFTC
hhhmmmmm what does that hint mean.. with the road close ahead we were able to park pretty close and then made the pretty quick find, hubby jumped out to give me a hand or three, thanks for the placement
In Napier today as I am running a black tie event tonight for work. After my geocaching event this morning I have some time before I have to start work so a couple of caches it is. This one was a recommendation at today's event. Didn't take too long to find the concealed cache at this cute shelter. Love the little cottages in this area of Napier. TFTC
#9270. Parked on Battery Road in Ahuriri for a short walk and to spend a penny. Great to see this piece of transport history preserved. Fortunately, GZ itself was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. Just as well, since this shelter was not really a place to linger for a tram now. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Always good to be back in the Bay. Even on a pretty damp day that this one was.
Out and about finding a few caches with team cacher zboywonder. This was one of those. Thanks for the historical perspective that this cache provides. Another era.
A straightforward find on this one.

Nice find. Took us a wee bit to find it but had fun trying to retrieve it! Feels like a bit of a T5 for short people!!
Nice quick find here, a bit scary almost walking into the womens toilet, exactly how and where it was supposed to be , good to see these buildings preserved.

Second look here, had to go and find a tool to help reach. Cache was soon in hand, log signed and cache placed back with the help of tool. Cheers.
First time I looked, I couldn't find it however a taller person with me the second and I could reach it
Quick find, right in the place I thought it was. Just had to look from a different place to see it.
Easy find. Make sure you have someone with you that is taller than 157cm lol I was too short

We were looking in correct spot last time but cache was missing. A quick jump out of car to grab and sign log. Log signed b&p. Find number 4194.

I have been looking at this spot ever since I started geocaching, thinking there really should be a cache here, but it is just another one I never got around to doing, so I am pleased you have gone ahead and beaten me to it.
I grew up in Auckland, but often came to Napier to visit my Aunty who lived across the road from here, so I have many fond memories of the area.
Thanks for the cache, it was a quick find. Would be nice to see a slightly larger container in this spot since there is plenty of room. it might prevent it getting blown away too.. which looked like was going to happen with the wind howling through!

Came back this morning to find it in the exact spot I thought it would be last time. Thanks for replacing it so quickly!

The cache had disappeared. It's now been replaced and is ready to go again.
From some of the graffiti around I am suspecting that this place may already be used as a drop off (in the less legal variety). If the cache went missing again we will try and devise a cleverer hide. For now this more about the historical value of the spot and artistic murals.

Thought we would give this one a go but no luck for us tonight. Hope it's not in the toilet area as these were pretty gross, didn't really want to venture in there. Will keep an eye on this one.
While it was all quiet in the area we came for a look for this cache. We found a spot that seemed to match the hint but no luck finding any cache. Will watch with interest.
What a fantastic place for a cache. Thank you for sharing this piece of history with us. Love the paintings and thinking that my Nana used to sit here as a child before the earthquake. TFTC
