On the way back to our hired cache-mobile having just undertaken the nearby Earthcache, we stopped off to search for this cache. We arrived in the Ground Zero and began our search but initially had no luck. We almost gave up as we needed to move on to another location to undertake some low tide only caches, but right at the last minute the very lovely cache was at last located. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the good fun cache and greetings from Zimbabwe

Wow, no luck despite an extensive search. One of us eaten alive by mozzies but that didn’t stop us checking every possible hiding spot we could think of. The hint was no help at all!! We are staying at glamping nearby so might try again tomorrow.

Out caching with n0w0rries and Ahomburg, with the main focus being that of attending the CITO on the island and collecting caches that we were interested in for our needed stats. Of interest of n0w0rries and ahomburg that the Is that a dike cache around the corner from here that we were waiting for low tide for. With the tide not looking too favorable we decided to walk over to the headland and evaluate the situation from there.

So with this cache being along the day, I thought I would give it a crack. soon enough the cache revealed itself and we moved on to the next cache.

n0w0rries found your cache Treasure Island - Berrys Beach, on 3 August 2019
The tide was low, according to Willy Weather. What would Willy know? He wasn't down the beach with us today. Obviously!
A nicely done hide here and deserving of a FP.
Cache found in good order.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this Small geocache for us to find, BorisB&Natasha.

Out this morning, caching around the summerlands area. It was a beautiful morning to be out and about and finding some quality caches. This was my first one for the day and it was still very dark and I searched in torchlight. Took me a while but eventually found the unique container! Tftc!

Decided to do the Berry's beach to pyramid Rock walk today and of course grab a cache or two on our way, arrived at GZ only to find nothing ?? GPS was sending us all over the place so we refreshed and checked again, this time we had cache in hand within no time. Signed log and replaced as found. We then wanted to go for a walk along the beach but on our way to the water we came across a snake hiding on the dunes, wife was terrified so we got out of there real fast. TFTC

A not so early start for G&J of GJMMelb and I after my late arrival last night, the weather was a bit wet but we knew it was going to clear and warm up so grabbing coats we headed out to tackle some south coast caches. A bit tricky to pinpoint this one but the hint helped narrow down the options and G soon found it. TFTC

Apparently it poured in Melbourne yesterday so I am glad we were able to arrive on Phillip Island early afternoon! Poor quiet1_au didn’t drive down till late evening though so he was caught in it at work! So when we woke up this morning we were happy to see it wasn’t bucketing but the on off showers delayed us setting off. Finally it cleared and we got ready and then just as we started off it started again. Oh well too bad, let’s just go for it... So we arrived here with it drizzling. Cloud6 skies mean not great co-ords so we looked at the hint and then GMelb made the discovery. After this even though still a little drizzly we headed to the rocks then the earthcache

A day spent on Phillip Island before the Long Weekend visitors arrived proved fruitful as we cached almost muggle free picking up some interesting finds in magical locations.
Technically our first cache for the day as we failed miserably with the near by sneaky dike due to the incoming tide, so we were very happy to find this awesome themed container without any trouble.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha for another fun hide with great views.

After unsuccessfully attempting to reach GZ of a nearby tidal cache, We headed back to this one to search. We looked in a few spots before finding this beautifully themed cache. Thanks so much for placing this unique cache BorisB&Natasha

Sunday - our absolute last chance for this trip!!
Missed this one on Friday, we really can't understand how, so it was a great relief to sign off on Phillip Island with a smiley token. Thanks to Knight_shift for the advice.

Thanks to 'BorisB&Natasha' for placing this cache on the geo-gameboard.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!

Unfortunately this 2.5/3.0 was too good for us today - but we will be back in a couple of days!

Thanks for the hunt anyway BorisB&Natasha.

Last time we were here, we lodged a DNF after searching for ages. Today, with the geo hubby about 20m away, I yell out “found it” within a couple of minutes. I have no idea how we missed it on our previous visit:)

Thanks BorisB&Natasha. Nice to have a smiley for this one.

**This was 1 of 36 caches that was found by me on the 8th of 16 caching days here in Australia. Which also was the 45th of 75 days that my travels thru southeast Asia and Oceania would last.**

This was an interesting place. Or at least one things that we did find on the beach was interesting to me. It, or they as there where several of them, was oval shaped and flat, layered and rather soft.

*Together with Ingabo, jsson and Sivun I would spend 16 days in Australia. Our journey started in Melbourne and ended in Sydney. After that I continued to New Zealand while the others headed back towards Melbourne.*
*All in all I did manage to find 263 caches, 9 types, 3 new months and many more statistical fillers.*

21-Nov-18
Went from Phillip Island to Fish Creek and we stopped for caching for a shorter hike and along the road.
We wrote full name or IJPS stand for the first letter i our alias ( Jsson, Ingabo, Peter-tvm, Sivun)
TFTC!

We, (jsson, peter-tvm, Sivun and myself) went for a small car drive on Philip island today. We logged as IJPS.
We had nice weather so we made some longer walks too.
Thanks for placing a cache for me to enjoy and find.

No luck with this one today. Given the recent DNFs and with rain setting in we decided not to stay.

21-Sep-18
A DNF for us today, the clue made sense and the GPSr's had us at 1m but we turned up with nothing. A fair search for 10 minutes before we gave up.

Took a day off work today to join the Kids excursion to Phillip Island surfing. I arrived 3hrs early, as you do, and explored as many local beaches and short walks that I could. Some amazing beaches around here that I gave never been to before, and plenty of rocks which I love clambering around. Any off to assist with the surfing now, but maybe a few more sneaky cache later on this afternoon. TFTC

This was the first in our travels, it had us going for a bit until Dave was a bit more thorough in the first place I checked and BINGO!! Nice container Big Grin

Many thanks to BorisB&Natasha for the cache. TNLN.

Out today cruising around the island with ahomburg. The weather was perfect. This is the first found in the treasure island series and the first time back on thr island for quite awhile. This one wasn't found quickly but a second more deeper look saw the cache in hand at last.

Find #1116
Despite the rather unfavourable weather forecast, we headed to Phillip Island for wander and dinner. As we walked along from Pyramid Rock we could see the rain coming in, and it hit about 200m away from the cache. Sitting undsr some form of cover, we waited for the rain to ease before looking for this. Much harder to find that it should have been given the actual container! First pen wouldn't sign the log but glad I had a back up. TFTC!

Now that we're both fit again we are resuming our regular Wednesday caching trips. Today we're continuing with the Treasure Island series where we left off last week. Again the morning is dull & we were able to find this cache without too much hindrance.

14-Jan-17
Today was my monthly outing with Biggles Bear, this time joined by Kiwideb. We headed to Phillip Island to attack the new Treasure Island series. We didn't expect to finish (and we didn't), but did a couple of extra caches along the way. We almost DNF'ed this one - it took us a long time to find, but in the end, it was exactly where the GPSs were pointing - we just couldn't see it. We all looked there at least once, but fortunately a second or third look by one of us (not me) found it.

My thanks to BorisB&Natasha for the cache.

An afternoon drive around the beaches in this part of the Island in search of caches with matt_geo and cjfinda. Last of the afternoon was unsuccessful. Should have brought gloves to assist in probing some possible hides.

08-Jan-17
frmen1 and I decided to brave the heat and get some of the new series on Treasure Island. The cool change had come through by this stage which made geocaching far more pleasant. Took a few minutes for our gps to settle. Guard rail came off in my hands. Replaced easily. Great container. TFTC

#4215 FTF!!!

Another FTF in another great spot with a great view. Took a bit getting into shore in the tinny, with the out going tide the swell was up and water was coming over the side, bailed out the water and braved the last 20m as I swam for it just outpacing the resident Noah. Co ords are spot on.

Thanks for bringing me to these great places with views!!
