Some time between connecting flights to make the quick find. Thanks for the cache.
On my say back to the hotel, stopped by the lake for straightforward find here. TFTC
Having spent a few days with family in Auckland, Im now on my way to the Dunedin Mega. I arrived early at the airport so spent a couple of hours geocaching nearby. I enjoyed my walk around this park, and with no one else around, I found them all easily. Logbook is full but managed to squeeze my name on and replace as found. Tftc
Thank you for the cache. My first in New Zaeland. I am here to hike Te Araroa Trail.
Took a lot longer than it should have as the ground was wet and neither of us wanted to lie on the ground and feeling around wasn't producing the goods. Eventually we got down and made the find. Tftc
What a beautiful spot. I found this on an early morning walk before my flight to WA. TFTC
**21, 717**Another quick find, thankfully, after the previous DNF. Glad to have this one ticked off at least. TFTC
Time has changed this place since the photo was taken but still a beautiful little walk , tftc
Didn't know about this place and it's very cool, love a bit of outdoor art and the lake is gorgeous this frosty morning. Tftc +fav for location.
Our flight was canceled. Time to have a stroll and looking for your nice, little cache. Thx
I had a bit of time to kill before our flight to the south island, so I walked to this cache for a quick find. The cache had fallen to the floor, but otherwise no issues. After this, I headed back the way I came to catch our flight. Tftc
Found quickly with a fellow visiting rover scout from Australia @ 1155. Please note no signature as we left our writing implements at the hotel.
A quick find this afternoon on a walk while filling in time before an overseas flight. Nice spot! Signed log, TFTC!
Quick find while at the airport picking up our hire car We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Quick find with Blue Jay after picking up our 'hire' car from airport and before heading off on a few day tour of the North island. All good at gz.TFTC. Toffee Man.
Few hours to kill before my afternoon flight back to the mainland so out for a wander around the neighbourhood ,quick find tftc Cache all good..
On route from the oldie to the Ibis for dinner. Lovely lake and a quick find.Thank you for placing
A beautiful holiday in Zealand is behind us, we spent the last afternoon while waiting for our flight to Europe walking and catching some caches in the park near the airport. Thank you.
2 februari 2024 13:07My first geocache in New Zealand, just arrived an hour ago and had some time to spend before my domestic flight departs. TFTC,KrokoDit is mijn 905ste gevonden cache.
We are waiting for a plane and we have plenty of time .... so - lets explore one more park. But the park wasnt for us. The cache was. And dragons too:))Thanks for the cache and greetings from the Czech Republic.
Didn't have a pen on me at the time, but the photo is to show I've found its location
This just reminds me of the reasons I love Geocaching! What a tranquil spot so near to a busy airport. TFTC
Just got to NZ for a little holiday and had to come find at least one geocache. It's raining a bit but totally worth it. This is the smallest cache I've ever seen
Needed to get our adventuring today. None of the family wanted to join so I just got in the car and started following the icons on the map! Once I found the path (I tried to aces it from the wrong side) it was a nice pleasant walk and quick find. All ok here.I think Ill be back with the geo-dogs sometime for a wander and a picnic in the little booth! Thanks for the cache.
A quick find this evening while out for a wander around the area as we are staying nearby in preparation for our flight tomorrow. TFTC
finding a nano is always fun, just fiddling in the logbook back into it is testing sometimes my patience TFTC
Waiting for our flight back to Germany we spent some time in the nice parc and could find the cache.TFTC

Dropped off family and had some spare time so decided to go geocaching. And as is often the case, I discovered a hidden gem in the process. Found the wee fellow then carried on exploring. Thanks so much for bringing me here. Favourite point given for that.
Yay!! Found this nano while getting some very fast fresh air before my flight Home. I've been at AUT 3days but studying so hard that this is my first find of the trip. Loved the walk and outdoor art.The log is full and sadly I don't have a spare roll on me, but I could add my initial SS to the end of the log.
I came down to the airport to drop off my husband and then attend the meet and greet.
We took the long way around because it looked like the path was blocked with some fencing. I left hubbie near GZ whilst I went in for a look because the ground was extremely squelchy. Eventually he came in to help, which was a good job because I couldn't reach far enough under to reach the cache.

After a long flight fom Los Angeles it was a need to walk arround a little bit bevor the next flight to Queenstown.

Found the seat and looked under it. I only had a few minutes before I had to hurry to the airport. I should’ve stayed longer to look, my flight was delayed anyway.
Blissfully unaware of this place despite passing it so many times, thanks for bringing me here.
Slightly wet underfoot, need to clean my shoes before getting in to the airport

log was super full so couldnt sign.(even unrolled all the way just to check)lol enjoyed the walk and the super cute sculptures on the way too. didnt even know this place existed!tftc
I enjoyed looking at the birds in the area while waiting for my flight at the airport. The log is full. Thank you for a fun find.
An instant find this time - wonder why we had trouble last visit? Having dry ground makes for easier searching of course. This garden has lacked care for some time now - no view from the seat anymore - plants untrimmed, weeds growing everywhere, sculpture QR code links are broken. And the southerly wind brought the noise of the airport and the stench of aviation fuel... we found a seat in the sun and had lunch before heading back for our flight home.
#13,454. Transiting via Auckland International Airport in Auckland. Our bags had been checked through to the final destination, so we had hand luggage only. Perfect for a little wander over to the Outdoor Gallery to try for this geocache. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Relatively quick find. The cache was in good condition, but the logbook was full. Managed to find a little white space in slot # 27 to scribble “HHG”. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.
Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to this site, and …

Day 16 arrived at what was now our new last day in NZ we had a few hours to kill so I decided to go for a wander. This one that I found. TFTC
Fresh (well, perhaps not feeling too fresh) off a 30 hour plane trip, this sculpture park was the perfect way to stay awake during the afternoon. Have included photo log as log is full.
Fotolog.
Unfortunately no gallery here anymore. The darn little imp couldn't hide for long. We had time until the departure home and had fun caching. Thank you says the waldheimerin, greetings from Germany. The logbook is full!! Photolog.

My holiday in NZ is coming to its end and the last night I'm staying next to the airport due to an early flight tomorrow morning. It's nice that there are so many caches around here so I won't get bored, tftc!
Thank you for the inspiration. Stuck in transit and the sculptures and peace of the water made the afternoon.
In six years the flax bushes have grown. (A bit)
Did not know about this walk was here
Thanks for bring me here.
Fav point for the destination.

Out here for a wander round the sculpture park. Grabbed this one quickly. A few ants around but very quiet otherwise. Tftc
Seat was already taken by about 100 bugs. Luckily they let me borrow the geocache. Tftc
Quick find before my flight to Nelson today. Only in NZ could I have views of nature whilst waiting for a flight. TFTC
Tftc thanks for bringing us here. So close to the airport during our layover. So peaceful
This was a nice find with the family while we were killing some time in the sculpture garden while waiting for a flight to arrive.
The cache was a quick find. I used the last spot on the log sheet.

Third and last find of the day... because my plans to find a cache in Melbourne this evening got totally screwed over when Jetstar cancelled our flight. [:(!] (We are flying out tomorrow evening instead, but no one was happy when we arrived to check in and were only told then that we wouldn't be flying in 2 hours time.)
All that aside, this was a nice quick find and easy to get the log out thanks to the previous finder putting it in the lid rather than the body - thank you!! No worries here at all. Thanks for the cache (#1460)

Almost overlooked this little fellow, but the hint told me to look again.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining and for showing me this place. It is so cool that NZ has so much Nature right next to an airport.

One of those emotional days where I have to drop my sister back to the airport. Never sure when we might see each other again. To console the soul a cache find is in order especially when it fills an elusive dot day. TFTC and bringing me to a quaint wee spot

Had a few hours before my flight back to Chch, so went to find a couple of the closest caches.
I hadn't realized the cache was a nano so overlooked it the first couple of times I looked at the hidey spot.
Kia ora! Paldies!

I am heading home from a few days in Auckland at the sister plant to the one I work at in Marlborough, so not much on the plan apart from getting the rental car safely back and sifting around for caches near the terminal to fill in an hour or more.
Quick find here for me, I enjoyed the walk around here, but with my eye on the time I had determined when I should start heading back to the terminal. Nice to have the place to myself. Signed ricnz, TFTC allycat44 and Goofyjnr.
