A little wet while here, but it's just water so carried on to explore the area and gind the EC information. We stayed in Bairnsdale last night, with a day to cache and explore our way to lillydale. A little wet with light rain at times but still managed to cache along the way and stay dry enough and it stopped towards the afternoon.. Honourable mention to JJ's in Lillydale for the great Pizza, very yummy! We're heading to King Island, via Mallacoota and lakes entrance towards Melbourne. An atlas mapping challenge directing our way towards our waiting plane. Flinders Island, some mainland Tassie, before our target, King Island... our last cachable LGA in Australia!Having been caching for years on our LGAs, sacada and myself teamed up six months ago to tackle the hard ones, then as it happened, all of those that remained. We now are making our way to the last, Flinders for sacada, then King for us both. It has been quite a journey! Thanks for your cache.
Off to Tasmania to get Flinders Island LGA and finally the last LGA for AU at King Island. TFTC.Continuing from Bairnsdale to Lillydale, Melbourne on our trip to Tasmania. A quickish trip slowed way down with caching along the way. Made it late to the van park, but all is ok for sorting the long term caravan parking via email. An interesting Earth Cache and also a nice camping spot.
I recently found out that my company offers a "Wellness Day" program, which essentially gives each employee an extra annual leave day to specifically take a day off for a mental health break. Well I also found out that if I didn't take mine by the end of November, that I would forfeit it. So I desperately started planning when I could take my mental health day and with the snuggle muggle attending a conference until late tonight, today seemed to be the perfect day to do so.So with an entire free day and night I figured I should take full advantage of it and attempt to find some caches that were a bit further out of my normal caching radius. Well this year I have been actively attempting to fill in some missing months for my AUSMER and with an entire day free I figured [the Nomad's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=16d052bc-8e90-4546-b4fa-1006c6b1f8ef&wid=b2c69374-8806-4c87-b2d5-037ea9dae103&ds=2) [The Billy Goat's Gruff (GC47B)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC47B) would be the perfect target for the day as it is the only active cache in Victoria that was hidden in March 2001, a month I still needed for my AUSMER.So after finding that cache I then slowly stated my journey back to Melbourne via the A1/M1 and figured I would break up the drive back by finding any Virtuals or Earthcaches along the way that were only slight detours. So when I spotted that this Earthcache was only a short detour away, I knew I had to stop and try and find it. I always love a good Earthcache as they usually take me to beautiful locations and teach me interesting facts, this Earthcache included.I had never actually heard of a *"horst"* before or a *"graben"* for that matter and so I found it exciting reading up about some new geological features that I wasn't familiar with. This was a relatively lovely little spot, at least a few others though so as there was a number of campers setting up their tents as I arrived. Once I arrived I leisurely stretched the legs and made my way to the various Waypoints, taken notes of what I was seeing. With the weather being absolutely stunning today, nice and warm with plenty of sunshine, this was a great Earthcache to stop at. After learning a little bit about Kaolin, I then grabbed a few photos and shot my answers off to the [CO](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=4c35ffd9-cbf9-4dbe-94cc-36f6cee19efa&wid=771fb4b5-04a1-45ed-839a-8a7c2bcdb7fb&ds=2) before continuing my journey on back to Melbourne.A big thanks goes to [TeamThommo](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=4c35ffd9-cbf9-4dbe-94cc-36f6cee19efa&wid=771fb4b5-04a1-45ed-839a-8a7c2bcdb7fb&ds=2) for another fun and interesting Earthcache. Travelling around NSW and Victoria on a 5 day trip with my son who is practicing driving a camper trailer on his P's. I decided to give him some rest breaks by stopping to do a few Earthcaches along the way. This Earthcache was pleasure to visit as I havent travelled through the area for over 25 years. A nice rest stop on the highway, and a good lesson learnt. Thanks for the Earthcache

Called in to make the observations on this earthcache during a road trip along the Coast Road from Adelaide through to Melbourne and Sydney with a few detours along the way. Thanks for the earthcache TeamThommo!
Greetings from Seattle! I'm down under for the first time with jtcoffee to attend the Great Leap Forward in Adelaide. While here, we're naturally trying to pack in as much "bonus" adventure as possible, including (but not limited to) the following: Log our find finds in the southern hemisphere Find Lane Cove, Australia's Oldest Experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Sydney Drive the Great Ocean Road Visit the Lord of the Rings filming locations in New Zealand Tackle a challenge cache requiring 31 Earthcaches, and 31 Virtuals in 31 days (GC32TBZ and GC32TC2) We're currently caching our way to Melbourne where we'll stay for the night. I saw a snake at GZ but it slithered away before my personal roadside naturalist could identify it for us. At any rate, answers have been sent in (or will be soon) by Jessie for both of us. Thanks for keeping this in play and contributing to our wonderful trip to Oz!
Greetings from Seattle! I am lucky enough to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega-Event in Adelaide with my fellow Lackey and best geo-buddy giacaches, and we hit the road to take the scenic route. We are keen on getting a bunch of EarthCaches and Virtual Caches for a challenge near home, so it was an easy choice to stop for this one. In addition to seeing the interesting geological features here, we saw a huge snake! Well, Gia saw him - he slithered away before I got to. Yikes! Answers have been sent in for the both of us. Thanks so much for adding to this awesome trip!
Found It!Nice little park. Stopped here on a rather rainy morning and had a look around.TFTC

I have had this Earthcache on my to-do list for over a year. This morning, while in the
Area I figured I would finally stop. I was greeted by a few grey nomads and their caravans. Looks like a popular pitstop. I learnt something new with this Earthcache, who would have thought that a clay used to make fine china could have so many others valuable properties.

Completed with Shag57 and Geokids on a sunny winters afternoon. I enjoyed learning about the local geography
Interesting piece of geology close to home and pleasant way to see the area. Found with AutumnBees on Sunday afternoon cache hunt.
We have logged this as we like to log our finds as we find then we have forwarded answers to CO and awaiting approval
A scenic driving day as it’s drizzly. Popped my newly-knitted beanie on my head and headed up the road. A couple of multis, an Earthcache, a virtual, a puzzle and a bag of trads...
Rode my horse up here and checked out the facilities. Then headed up the path to the bridge, picking up snippets of info for the EC. Spotted a box of free books on a picnic table and back to the car for a book I needed to re-home. Tossed it in the box! Did the last WP on the canter out with a zoom lens.teed back towards town.

found/solved with mogni. Stopped to get a bit to eat at the pininc ground beside " the dam ". I was surprised to see someone free camping on the grass considering it was only about 400 pm. Strolled around and got the answers to the earthcache. answers sent.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.

Thanks for the quick break to our drive. Thought for a moment it could of been a great place to camp for the night but RV and caravans only a nice sunset for the night. Answers sent through.
Since my 6 week holiday to Queensland was a disaster I’m now back in Victoria.
There is a Sidetracked event on in Bunyip tonight that I’m planing on attending so thought I might as well come a bit further first and pick up an LGA that I haven’t cached in before.
A nice drive up the Hwy with not to much traffic about.
Funny how you come back to places that you have been to before a few times and thought why didn’t I know about caching back then.
A couple of caravaners are staying in this nice little stop just off the Hwy.
Walked around and noticed that the river was really flowing after all of the recent rain that we have had.
Noted what was required and answers sent off to the CO.
Thanks TeamThommo TFTC

We found this cache while on a road trip to Tasmania and now we’re on our final leg into Melbourne to catch the ferry. Our route was going past this Earthcache so it was another good excuse to stop along the way.
We thought this was a great little rest area spot to camp so we’ll remember it for another time. The Earthcache was interesting to do and we learnt a little about the geology of the area.
Thanks TeamThommo for setting up the cache for us to find.

Suscoe was up early this morning for the trip home.
We left Sale not long after the sun had peeped over the horizon.
It was a cool start but as the day passed by the sun got a little warmer.
We enjoyed the caches that we were after this morning.
Some traditionals, an Earth Cache, an Adventure Lab and a couple of Multis in the mix as well.
The Gippsland countryside is a delight.
Thanks to Team Thommo for this Earth Cache.
It is great to be able to learn something new at Earth Caches and this was a great opportunity to understand why this area is like it is.

Our second last day on our trip and we were back in Victoria. We stopped at this rest stop as it appears to also be a camping area. While stopping we noticed that there was an Earthcache here. So we wandered about reading signs and making observations. The bridge across the river is beautiful and we learned about a geological feature that we have never heard of before. This is a beautiful part of Victoria and we will definitely be coming back to explore more. Thank you TeamThommo for another wonderful Earthcache.
I gathered the info for this Earth Cache on our way home from a quick overnight trip to Sale to see the Archibald Prize portraits. I convinced my girlfriend to stop and ponder the Horst vs Graben dilemna and have finally submitted my answers to the CO.
We were down in the Traralgon area doing support for my wife who was running the Traralgon Marathon. After the marathon had started, we headed off to Rosedale to collect a few caches before our photograph duties where required at the half way point. Then after that was done it was the Cowwara area until racing back to the finish line, getting there in perfect time to cheer her over the finish line. 42km ran for her, 10 geocaches for us with only 1 DNF.
The road to the car park was closed so we parked up on the main road, right next to one of the way points. We then strolled to the other points thru the slowly lifting fog. Think we got the answers correct and sent them to the CO, but not exactly sure on one. Certainly an interesting area this one.
Thanks for the cache Team Thommo

Out caching today before an event for my other hobby today out in Morwell. So decided to get up early and smash out some caches on the way up before the rain comes in in the afternoon. Got a handful done all in all with not DNF's, even got a new LGA and won the tournament in Morwell....win win I think, thanks for the cache.

Wet feet and cold but we explored the area and hoped we understand the geography of the place. Not good with rocks. Thanks for the education.
Educational. Interesting but never sure with rocky bits
Hope I’ve covered all the questions
Kaolin yellow colour
Graben
Dam empty
Erosion
The compass coordinates actually show us an example better than where the parking area and bridge were which was good.

After a late geokid basketball game in Melbourne we decided to find a quick overnight stop on the way to our Gippsland camp site.
Great spot on the Latrobe river just out of Rosedale. Easy access, flat ground and nice green grass. Unfortunately the trucks use engine brakes on the bridge to slow down coming into Rosedale. Only setback. Not a great sleep.
Had a quick look at this earth cache the next morning while the family were getting ready to leave. Wandered round, took some photos and read up about it later that day.
I’m now slightly more educated on another geological feature in our world.
Thanks Teamthommo for the effort

This is our closest earth cache at the moment so here we came today on Earth Cache Day.
This may not be a particularly spectacular geological feature but we found it interesting all the same. We've been driving along that cutting for the last few months and now we know what we are seeing!
We forgot to take a selfie but we did grab a shot of the Latrobe River close to bursting its' banks.
Thanks for find #1777

I headed off early today for a drive and marked a few caches on my route that looked interesting of which this was one.
Interesting idea of the business they planned using the ridge composite. A nice area I have driven over many times over the years.
Thanks to TeamThommo for the placement and fun.

Many years ago I was camping here and found this sign. I took the information home and did some research and wrote up an EarthCache and submitted it.
I was told by the earthcache reviewer at the time that it wasn't a good EarthCache because it was uninteresting and "naff". And that he wouldn't publish it.
Over the years my in-laws moved to Rosedale and I noticed, with a touch of irony that an EarthCache had been published at the exact same spot. This really didn't help my opinion of EarthCaches or the earthcache reviewer, who I'm happy to say has been replaced since.
So, fast forward to today, visiting my in-laws, my sister-in-law and a couple of the kids need to get out of the house, so we drove across town to do this cache before grabbing some ice-cream on the way home.
In the end, its probably best that my earthcache didn't get published, mine was more based on the tectonics of how a Horst is created, where as the earth science lesson of the kaolin is much more interesting, and thus is a far better earth cache than the one I was planning.

We had been to the *North East* for a Christmas Lunch yesterday with friends from the MX-5 Club. After spending the night in Bright we were now heading back to Melbourne the long way... via Falls Creek, Omeo and Bairnsdale.
With the fun part of the drive over, it was now just a trudge down the Princes Highway to Melbourne... with the very occasional break for a cache like this one that would help me with a challenge I am working on.
Thanks **TeamThommo** for this Earth Cache.

TFTC. We had spent a few days camped here and discovered both the Horse and the Horst in Rosedale. During our time we also scored a new LGA near Bairnsdale and caches in Morwell, Newborough and Sale. A lovely spot to spend a few days. WWE took a few days to collect the information and then a day or two to filter our thoughts. Answers have been sent to the CO.
With a rare good day arriving a plan was hatched with Rebel Acts to head out towards Rosedale and complete the Giffard Road series and then loop back through Woodside towards home.
It was a great day with lots of frivolity and fun with the most common comment to each other being 'amateurs' when we found a cache. But we are not competitive!
We picked up a number of other caches outside the series and managed to get to others we hadn't planned on as our progress through the list was impressive. A total of 60 finds for the day!
Stopped at this one on ur way through town and tried to sort out our answers as best we could.

Stopped at this one on ur way through town and tried to sort out our answers as best we could.

We recently stopped off at this rest area to break our journey between Narooma and Lakes Entrance. An interesting location and one that got my brain working. Thank you.
I also note that on the other side of the campsite there is a large granite boulder with a sculpture of an amphibian on top and a plaque celebrating the fossil trackway that was found near her. A replica of the trackway has been make in concrete at the base of the block.
In addition the lake (Dam?) by the side of the river and bridge (opposite the site 9 site) is a good example of an Oxbow Lake that many might remember from geography lessons back at school.

Sun was shining and a day off meant a caching trip with Ski Pair, a plan was hatched with a list of around 70 caches on it as we headed out to tackle the Giffard Road Series and a few other caches we passed along the way. We managed 2 FTF's and I found My 17,000 cache. An interesting location to visit and looked like agreat spot. Ski Pair has sent the answers.
Thanks TeamThommo for the cache.

Catching up with some late logs.
After having a fun filled and very hectic time finding caches and catching up with friends at the Queensland Outback Geo Muster 2019 we are now taking a bit more leisurely trip home but also grabbing the occasional cache, actually this was the last one for the trip.
As the CO knows we are far from being geologists but we really enjoy earth caches as we do get to learn a little bit more with each one we do and this one was no exception. Although the weather was against us today we managed to collect enough information for the CO to give us permission to log.
Thanks Team Thommo for the cache, a favourite point from us.

I have passed this way many many times as a kid going on holidays. I always noticed this striking feature and wondered how it came about. I always thought it was river erosion of a cliff face. Well now I know.
Thanks for this earthcache, Thommo.

Willow Park is a place I’ve camped in on previous visits to this area. Today I learned the geological significance of this area TFTC TeamThommo
Required info forwarded to CO.
We took the opportunity to get this EC as we wanted to see what improvements were getting done to the park at the same time. The park is getting a facelift, which will make it more popular.
Even though the river is flowing, it's still very dry around the Gippsland Plains area. The required info was easily gathered and a few photos taken. Don't be shy and come visit the Rosedale Horst, as only then will you know one when you see one.
Thanks Team Thommo for bringing us here.

With barbarine I viseted this place by our trip in direction Sydney. Thank you for the cache and greetings from Dresden.
We undertook this Earthcache in the last light of the day having just arrived at Ground Zero ready to camp for the night. Before departing in the morning we took a photo that we will post after we have submitted our answers to the CO. In the meantime we are logging this Write Note only to keep our cache finds in order. Thanks so much for the interesting Earthcache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Straya Day Weekend - 60 Caches - A Guy, a Gal and a Boy - Great Family Day
We decided after a two year absence of serious caching that we need to get out more and gather some finds. Today had us heading East towards Rosedale and Longford before having lunch at Sale, we then tacked the Gifford series before having dinner at Yarram at the pub and heading home.
Nary a cache evaded us, and our competitive juices flowed and we couldn't be separated at the end of the day with 18 finds each, with a few joint finds.
Thank you for all the hiders for their efforts.
Thanks Team Thommo for a fascinating lesson about our equine geology.

Out on a drive to track down a golden oldie cache from 2001 and we came across this intriguing earthcache.
Pulling in, we were surprised by the number of free campers which presumably will only get greater as the council is building more facilities.
The answers were gathered (hopefully correctly) and EB99 made
sure I understood it all (?) before sending them to the CO
Thanks Kate for another great Earthcache experience and another file added to my geology lessons

Just getting around to sending in our answers now. Had a nice walk around here gathering the required info. The dam is bone dry so had to take a guess with that Q. A few campers here, and great to see progress on new facilities too! TFTEC
Stopped off here in the way to Lakes Entrance - bit of a forgotten spot. Some people were camping here- not sure what there is to do other than the geological formations
Answers sent to CO - all but one as, despite the recent heavy rain, the dam was dry. Tftc

En route from Melbourne to Canberra and aiming for Marlo tonight. Puzzled by the name of this Earthcache, I looked and oh, it is a TeamThommo one. Having done a few of theirs on the other side of the country, we stopped, looked and learned. Nice spot to camp too if we ever come across with the ute n camper.

Out ‘n about with m4yb getting a few caches.
Oh wow “How cool is this” being on a drive from Melbourne to Marlo after a grand visit with my 2 sons in Melbourne and come across an EC from this CO! They followed our journey and our FTF @ another of their ECs 3,365 Kms away near Broome WA.
It’s a pleasure to gain a bit more geology knowledge from these guys.
Answers submitted via m4yb for both of us.
Thanks for the EC and smiley TeamThommo

It looks like Willow Park is undergoing a major upgrade. Sealed roads, curbing and channel and more to come it seems. We often pull into this park especially when the cherries are in season and being sold. The nearby dam is bone dry due to extreme drought being experienced in East Gippsland. The Earth Cache was straight forward enough and a learning experience too. Many thanks Team Thommo for the experience.

On a lovely Spring day we headed east to central Gippsland to find some caches. I’d eyes off this Earthcache as we’ve driven past several times, but today we were allowed to stop and I was able to do the Earthcache. We even had lunch here! This was a topic I’d never come across before, so I hope I’ve got my answers right. The geology around here, in particular is very interesting and pretty easy to access. Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful site Team Thompson. I’ll look for Horsts rather than horses in the future!
frmen1 and I are avoiding the Grand Final pre-match carry on. We stopped here to find the place busy with RVs. We gathered the info to the best of our abilities. Unfortunately, the dam was dry, so had to make do with only half the answers to that question. We have been thoroughly educated now, even if it's not the most impressive horse lol Answers sent in. TFT lesson.
Stopped by with tassie expat on way for weekend at Sale and couldn't resist this earth cache. Interesting. Thanks.
Thanks, Team Thommo. I was in Rosedale for some family business and had only a few minutes to look for the earthcache. Thanks for the geology lesson. I really did learn something! My answers will be sent to you in just a couple of minutes.

We have driven past this location so many times and today was the first time we left the main road to explore this very pretty little camping location. There were quite a few campers and evidence of the remains of a healthy campfire. It was also a convenient distance to walk into town to enjoy the touristy shops and cafes. The Horst was something that we had never heard of before, but after reading about it, maybe it is more common than what we realise. Thanks as always TeamThommo for our Earth Cache lessons and for your entertaining cache description.

Another windy day in Gippsland, we paused for this one as we headed to Bairnsdale.
The name of this one caught our eye - the story on the cache page is worthy of a FP in its own right!
We always enjoy Earthcaches, a great way to learn about the places where we travel.
Logged with a tick from the CO.
Thanks 'TeamThommo' for the effort of creating another Earthcache and encouraging us to learn more about the environment.

Road tripping to Sale on Premier business found me stopping off for only one of two Earthcaches that were sufficiently proximate to my route that I knew I would definitely have time to do them. Being a TeamThommo EC I knew I'd have to carefully read the cache description and do a bit of homework if I was going to have sufficiently qualifying answers to have approval to log.
So after paying attention to the cache description and reading the sign at the coordinates I began formulating my answers. I'm glad I didn't have to go into the most sunken part of the graben as there were a number of campers which I thought were not geocachers. I didn't and don't understand how you can be a camper and not a cacher (think of all the new areas you regularly get to cache in!) but there it is and therefore it didn't feel right to walk anywhere near their front/back yards or homes for that matter.
Luckily the cache doesn't require me to do so and instead I could examine things from afar. I'd agree that whilst interesting the actual manifestation of these phenomena are sufficiently underwhelming such that the locals had no idea what you were talking about when looking for the Horst. However I now know what a graben and horst is and I will most likely try to find other examples of both types of phenomenon. Thanks for drawing my attention to them, Team Thommo!

The fifth find of the day. This was the final day of our mega weekend adventure. We needed to get back from Labertouche to Canberra by the end of the day, which would entail an 8 hour plus drive. This didn't include all the caches we were planning on stopping by. Firstly, we had to back track a little to Nar Nar Goon though as I needed a photo with the sign for my mates back home. A letterbox here, a large there and we were on our way. Grabbed a few large caches and even reached a new milestone of 100 earthcaches! Thanks to all the COs who made today possible.
This was a cool little earthcache for us to collect this county. There were a few people camped here which was really cool. Loci612 headed off to GZ and collected the required answers and photos. Answers sent to CO. TFTE TeamThommo!

Today was the last day of our Alexandra Mega trip! Mostly driving between Drouin - Canberra as we had lots of distance and hours to cover but we still managed to squeeze 17 caches in which was more than planned! We left the accomodation at 8:30am and didn't get back until late at night. Lots of large caches, a few Earthcaches, county's along the way, easy but high DT combo's and a few multi's were the goal for this days trek Was a great weekend away with Cankid and at the mega event but was good to finally be back in Canberra by the end of it all! Was a great detour along the coastal route home, a highway we had both never travelled!
---
**This Cache:**
This cache was in a new unfound county for both of us so we picked it because it was an earthcache and was close to the highway so shouldn't take too much time. We wandered around, read the sign and observed the views around the area and answered the questions. Cankid was the one to write down all the questions for us and will send you the email with the answers for us In the mean time I will upload the photo I took with the GPS we had on the trip, I took care as to not ruin any of the answers in my pic so the view isn't as exciting as it could be!

Stopped here for a quick refresh ourselves on our way back from Albury with Crank1 & Everlasting. Thanks to Crank1, the driver for showing us here. Everlasting and I worked out the questions at 1.30 this morning, we use torches and car headlights while the people in caravans nearby are sleepy, shsh! Thanks TeamThommo for the Earthcache and bringing us here. Very interesting geology, it is not my strong area but I learnt something there
Out for a day in Rosedale and to stop in at a place we pass on regular trips. What a great piece of information on what this type of rock is used for in everyday life. Kids had a great time playing and reading signs.

After attending the 2 months to Alexandra Mega event Woz and I decided to drive to Lakes Entrance as neither of us have been here before - what a beautiful area! We then travelled to Geelong.
Woo hoo, what a weekend.... Adelaide, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Berwick, Geelong, St Arnaud ...3 events, loads of chats and catch ups with buddies, laughter, silly stories, hugs, kisses, promises and future plans for 1:1 hookups and groups adventures..... you really get to know who your true friends are.
PLUS a couple of big bags of rubbish collected.
I LOVE geocaching and all that it has value added to my day-to-day life!

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
Now we drive from Melbourne in direction of Canberra, Blue Mountains and Sydney. We want to see so much as possible of this part of Australia.
This Cache was one of my favorite Caches, wich I would visit in Australia. Thank you very much for showing. This theme was very interesting. I have learned a lot over the australian geology.
