Enjoying a nice walk along the beach today, almost no one around, and a quick find here, TFTC
Today:Had most of the day to myself, while the rest of the family did some tramping around Toteranui. That's also where I started on my MTB, going over Gibbs hill, then down to the coast, following the main road + some diversions all the way to the bottom of Takaka hill. Found 20 odd caches along the way. Good weather, nice scenery, great success! This cache:Nice quick find at GZ, tftc!
Found it! Still wet though, so we couldn't log it. There was another box on the ground, empty, so we were a bit confused in the beginning. TFTC!
Easy find. Everything very wet so I dried the log out in the sun. Merry Christmas.
This is a lovely secluded spot today. The cache was one of the wettest I've seen, so have drained it and put it upside down to hopefully cover the little hole in the top of the box. Amazing view in the sunshine nearby. Paper was just usable. Tftc
Easy find. Unfortunately filled with water and writing often not readable anymore
quick find once I had the right Christmas tree. lovely sunny autumn day and not a breath of wind.
Here for the Easter weekend looking for a Christmas tree! Between showers we headed out for some caches. No problems finding this one and the cache all fine. Thanks for the smiley.
We still had 10 points to get to get the final souvenirs for Signal Labyrinth so made a quick stop here for a nice easy find. Container cracked and contents damp but RtR paper meant log strip was still signable. tftc

I killed two birds with one stone: First I found the cache, then I went into the building. TFTC.
Very easy find. Then headed off to do the nearby puzzle cache but came across loo paper and a very large poo. So disappointing when public loos were so close by. We loved the art in the loos and had fun mimicking the painted faces. TFTC
Checked a number of wrong places before spotting the obvious.
I left a pet rock - a tropical fish.
Thanks for putting this here for me to find

Quick find - I was relieved no one was wanting to use the facilities just then and the coast was clear. TFTC!
27 November 2021 11:32. Stopped here for the facilities, then searched for the cache. TFTC, number 10433 for me.
Made use of the facilities and found the cache. Add waterproof paper for the next cachers to sign. TFTC elliot13.
Day 11 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
This was, as intended, a very quick find. Just as well it was this one and not the bigger one we could see as that had a car parked under it and a couple leaning on the bonnet.
Logbook full, only pen is a felt tip which will be ineffective on a RITR sheet.
Thanks for the cache elliot13

On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock them off on this trip.
Quick find but would be nice to see the trees out in a couple of months time.

A fine set of facilities. Log has room for 4 more. Will need replacing soon. Thanks.

A day spent exploring & caching around GB, was a goodie! Lots of firsts for me Short walks I've been meaning to do but never seem to find time, we did this weekend Spectacular scenery right on my back door.
I don't normally make recs on public toilets, but I'd highly recommend a visit to these ones even if nature isn't calling! Stunning artwork, some people are so talented God dam it!

We are heading out toward Wainui for a bit of a drive and stopped in here for this park and grab. It’s a nice day and there won’t be many days like this when GZ will be this quiet, so we took advantage.
Do check out the nearby toilets, they have some great art in them. TFTC elliot13.
Our second day in Pohara, and today we are exploring a few spots with some short walks. The Labyrinth Rocks, Rawhiti cave and Grove Scenic Reserve were all on the agenda and visited in the morning and early afternoon, then we headed around to Tata Bay and beyond for some park and grabs. Great weather, some really cool spots. Thanks all.

Day 20 of three weeks winter motorhoming in the upper half of the South Island. Moved on from Port Tarakohe (between Pohara and Ligar Bay) back over the Takaka hill to Motueka today. Picked up a few caches along the way.
A reasonably quick find. The cache seemed a little too exposed in such a public place. Tried to hide it away a bit better. #4230. TFTC.

A quick find with SJT_NZ, thought we'd tackle caches in this area before heading to a cafe for some breakfast. A little water in the cache but dried it off and checked the seal, log was not too wet as safely in a bag.
A quick find with TregearP on a cool Sunday morning. A few dog walkers around, but all quiet at the GZ. Signed log and replaced as found. Thanks elliot13 for the cache.
#20052. A nice quick park and grab. Nearly time to head back to our chalet in Takaka to make a well earned coffee. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a cool but sunny morning as we head to Ligar Bay.
When we got to GZ, I found that this cache wasn't on my GPSr, so while I fluffed around trying to work out what the problem was (I had inadvertently applied a filter that filtered out caches under 1 1/2 terrain ), SW got stuck in and found the cache. TFTC.

#1505. Day 6 of a 9 day caching holiday in the Tasman region with GB Leader. After heading over the Takaka Hill yesterday, today we explored the area around our eco accommodation in Wainui Bay, as far as the road goes. Then off to Takaka for some exploring & caching.
Easy find, but log is very wet, but ok to sign. Tftc elliot13, but shame you didn’t spell Christmas correctly!

Just had a nice walk from Tarakohi to ligar Bay to get your cache nice easy find . Thanks elliot13 for this cache
We hadn't been to Golden Bay for some time and with plenty of caching options here we are.
We took advantage of some welcome shade when we parked here to look for this cache. Hazedarus found it while I was inspecting another spot.
Thank you elliot13.

We were ahead of the long weekend traffic this morning and when going home we were going the right way. Just like we planned it. The plan was to look for the Tour caches in Tasman and Golden Bay and grab some random P@Gs on the way. The weather cooperated nicely being not to hot and not to cold and we achieved what we set out to do. The point of return was Collingwood and we're slowly working our way home again. It's been a while since we visited the bay here but geocaching called today. Although we're still in holiday mode the splendour of NZ's Xmas trees was spent for another year. A quick find here. Thank you elliot13
Found during a bike ride from Port Tarakohe. Nice easy find. Thanks for the placement elliot13.
Thanks for the tree species hint in the description! We added a seashell. Great to find on holiday! tftc
TFTC Another one for my daughter while we enjoyed the afternoon at the beach
Getting around the area geocaching - Fav point added We loved all the caches we did while on holiday.

Nice easy find to get me back into geocaching, thank you!
P.s. Paper is very wet. Someone didn't put it back in the bag right but now it's too wet to do so.

Found on the way back from Totaranui. There was a nearby muggle mowing the lawns, so I had to be stealthy
