Great spot and a perfect pre dinner stroll before the pub. All good at GZ. Thanks to 4bait for the fun and the adventure.
I remember seeing this lovely but forgotten picnic area in use in 'the old days" when we still drove over this bridge. Thanks for the cache and the memory.TNLN
Got it! Not too hard thank you!!! we needed that confidence boost after many failures
Beautiful way to celebrate the grand final weekend by geocaching and camping in regional Victoria Gorgeous spring day. Thanks for the geocache whilst waiting for the kids to cycle along the rail trail
Thanks for the cache. It is a lovely spot here. Would be great for a picnic. Love the size too
Lovely spot with no one around today. Thanks for the cache. Well camouflaged this time of year
A nice spot at gz and while the leaves at this time of year add to the difficulty of the hide I eventually managed to dig my way to the hide. Thanks for the cache 4bait.
My first find in porepunkah!Having set up my digs at the discovery park down the road, I wandered down to explore town. So cute at this time of year. The punka pub was just opening, so I strolled down to the river here for a looksee first. What a cool stone gazebo nearby (albeit roofless) in summer this spot must crank.A quick find after digging through the autumn leaf litter. Thanks 4bait for hiding a cache here highlighting this defunct road bridge.I totally had bliss and eso's track by the same name running in my head while searching this cache...
Bike ride down to Porepungah this morning on the treadlies (NOTE; no e.bikes for these 'ol buggers). After a coffee revival injection, we walked over to this one. Just as well to remember there are lots of new leaves about at this time of year. TFTC 4bait.
Visiting the area for the long weekend- along with everyone else in the world it would seem!!Had an eye on walking the rail trail, so set out on foot (in the heat - not the best idea) from Bright towards Porepunkah. This was a lovely spot to stop and cool off for a moment, before the trek back. After the quick find and signing the log, sat under the tree for a few minutes and watched a group of people float down the river on tubes, seemingly without a care in the world!! In hindsight, perhaps floating down the river to the cache might have been a better option than the walk!!!Thanks for the chance to view this beautiful little spot and grab another smiley for the collection!
We decided to jump on the push bikes and take on the trail between Bright and Porenpukah. The whole family enjoyed the easy ride. While we took a break at the park, I saw that there was a cache nearby. Unfortunately I didnt have a pen with me and hoped that there would be something to write with in the container. Alas there wasnt any thing of the sort. I never do this, but I decided to take a photo as proof that I found it. If the owner is not happy with the found it log, I will delete my log. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find.
On our way back from Hotham to the Goulburn Valley. Stopped to check out the pies. Quick cache while were here. It was pretty buried considering it it only been found a week ago. Many thanks 4bait for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. And thanks for sharing the highlights of your region .
Out and about today exploring the Buckland Valley with Grannan55 and Geodogs. Thought we might pick this one up on the way. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
We went to the rail trail bike cafe in Porepunkah for a pretty decent and recommended cappuccino and chicken enchilada. The very lovely people gave me a pen because I forgot mine. Then made our way to the cache and after a bit of searching made the find under the camouflage. Tftc.
Glad one of us is more nimble than the other! Quick park and grab for this one. TFTC. Pretty spot.
Found with D@geo on the way back from finding some of the HSS geoart, sight seeing, some shopping and just a good day out.Thank you for add to my day with geocache 4bait
Found with gwd.aussie.Travelled over the mountains to tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon -grabbed this cache along the way.TFTC
Came for a ride from Bright with some friends and had a nice lunch nearby. Sitting on the bridge got out the phone to see if there was a nearby - and indeed there was. Had no pen, so took a photo of it a few metres away from gz.
This took a LOT longer to locate than I anticipated on a damp and overcast day! After using my best Geo senses I finally came up with the cache! TFTC
Lovely spot for a cache, leaves everywhere so left it to Mr W to retrieve.

Day Trip: Home-Yea-Benalla-Myrtleford-Bright-MtBeauty-Whitfield-Mansfield-Home.
We've been past here many times and whilst we have seen the bridge we didn't realise that this small picnic area was there. Obviously a good shaded spot for a break during the hot summer months. With all the leaves that had fallen it was left up to me to locate the cache as Mrs B's dodgy knee and balance means I'm the mug tasked with retrieving caches in challenging locations. Fortunately this one was not too hard to get to.

Beautiful spot. Especially in autumn when we came with the leaves changing colour. Thank you!
What an interesting spot to poke around, and how many times have I trundled past in the car - guess that's why I love caching
First day of our mini trip to the high country. Rick is with a group of motorbike friends and Connie and geodog in the car. This was a quick stop and find and a lovely area. Thanks
Heading up to Mount Hofma and happened to catch up with Bellahappychappy heading up to Mount Hofma

A very nice little spot for a stop.

Coming from Bright, I stopped when entering the town, as there must be caches! Yes, only 166m…. But I was parked near the bus stop. Well, glad I drove to roundabout and then noticed the park! What a nice spot. Poor platypuses though, their burrows must be washed out!
Thanks for the detailed description. I am not sure if the thick clouds are playing with my GPS, but it seems all over the place! Found it easily thanks to hints!

Found quite quickly after geowife insisted I read all the clues! Doh! She was right. Lovely spot. TFTC
Thanks for bringing us to this location! Geocache in good shape just slightly damp. Took the TB to continue its journey, also T stamp ( useful as our surname is Thomas). Left pretty pink jewelry for young cacher. Logged. Trackable visit too. TFTC.
On our way to Bright for the weekend, via Wang (not our usual route) picking up a very caches along the way.
Nice walk over the bridge to this one. Took a fair bit of searching, was buried under leaves. A nice little spot I had not been before.

This cache provided the perfect excuse to get away from my cycling group for a few minutes during our lunch break. A stunning spot. Thanks!
A lack of resources, time and support from family made me put down the pen and gps in mid January for a couple of months to concentrate on other things. Including a challenge to walk 1000kms in 12 months.
Currently on a charity walk for suicide awareness called B2B Beechworth to Bridge walking from Beechworth to Bright over three days. I've worked out I will probably pass 200+ caches over the 80ks. On Day 1, I resisted the temptation to grab any caches although I did talk Geocaching with a few of the fellow walkers. Yesterday I grabbed one at morning tea.Today when resting at Porepunkah beforethelast leg of the journey, I thought I'd check the app and sure enough there was one 40m away. So up I got, walked the short distance across the river and down the steps to gz and quickly located the prize. Nice hide, lovely spot TFTC

While spending a few days in Myrtleford, we decided to head out to Mount Buffalo today to take the kids exploring and find a few caches, and then stopped by for a few on the way home. We pulled up here to grab a bite to eat, and so wandered over to the cache soon after. Lovely spot beside the creek, and we soon discovered where the cache was hiding.
