The plan for to-day was to do a circle (triangle) from Downside to Marrar to Coolamon and back to Wagga. A great circuit indeed, many of the caches blending in well with the surrounds, some blending in exceptionally well. Good to do a power trail where there is some challenge and immense variety in the caches. Took a long while to spot this one. Unfortunately when retrieving the wire snapped off, but I was able to jam it under the wire around the container, so should be good for awhile longer. TFTC.
Happy to find this one - tricky! Coords about 10m out - possibly weather conditions? TFTC!!
#7921Day four of our exploration through the region, aiming to find more LGAs between Bega, Cooma, Tumut, Wagga and Dubbo. Were starting the way home today, driving Wagga to Dubbo, well cache until we run out of light or energyWere trying to complete a challenge in Canberra, needing to find 1200 caches containing a DT 3. This cache helps get us closer.Took a little search! The log is very tatty nowThanks for the cache!
#7921Day four of our Southern NSW trip. Heading north, Wagga Wagga > DubboAn early start today and some maccas for breaky and were on the road, targetting whatever DTs, attributes and types and LGAs we want! end of copy paste Quick easy find here! Tatty log but signed and replaced nonetheless. TNLN SLThanks for placing and maintaining this cache The Drovers
Full log in the first of the series. Generic Log following.Day one on this series, very very few vehicles on this road todayexcept for when I had to pull over on many occasions. My device was not being particularly helpful, generally freezing (electrically) either 16m to go. So most ended up being a struggle to find.Loads of fun though. This particular cache could do with some help though.
#5 - coords had me 5m off but an expanding circle came up with the goods soon enough. Thanks to The Drovers for placing this cache.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Wending our way towards Canberra for the Mega. Staying a couple of days in Wagga Wagga. Today we decided to head out and tackle the caches in the triangle. Friends, Crops and some of the streets caches. Well sure enough we were too ambitious and fell short on our lengthy list. Great weather today, with a cool start. We soon enough were over tree climbs so they became DNA (did not attempt) but as time got shorter there were a few others that had previous DNF and we skipped on past aswell, sorry, but theres only so many hours in a day. [B)]We saw some great caches and clever camo. Been a long time between finds for alot of these caches and the animals have certainly disturbed some, the tethers are also either stiff or snapped on a few aswell.TFTC The Drovers
Found with Contesta on day 2 of our escape to Wagga. Is great to be out on these roads on such a nice day. Planning to attack all the trails in the triangle today. Tftc
Find #8101
I’ve been looking for that window of opportunity, a few days, to get across to WW to do some the various trails in the region. Finally a spare long weekend and plans began to form.
At the recent Mega in Rutherglen, I’d mentioned my intention to barb2e and she was keen to join me. Plans were almost abandoned as the Academy Games crowd had virtually booked all of accommodation out within a 50km radius. Thankfully camping is always an option. Well for me anyway
Then opportunity to meet some local cachers, and COs of some of the much anticipated trails, meant an extremely early start to get across to a community event though this was the perfect way to kick start the long weekend.
With some specific target caches, plus so many AdLabs, the Pub series, W.W.W. Trail, Friends series, Riverina crop series, Riverina Geocaching's Geotriad Tribute Series, and so much more. There was enough to keep us going for weeks but only had four days. Oh well, we gave it a good crack.
Apologies for the generic logs as this never does justice to the work that goes into placing and maintaining all of the caches that we have so enjoyed finding.
It’s been fun!
Thanks so much The Drovers for putting out and maintaining this cache. And of course for getting me out and about and enjoying this area too

All caches along this series were found today. Good bit of variation in the first half of caches and whilst some took a while most were found quickly. Tftc!
**Found whilst in Wagga for a couple of nights**
Out and about with Happy Pants, The Empire and Happy Feet after we managed to organize a couple of nights away.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s. It certainly has changed
Today we were up and at 'em bright and early this morning. After the prerequisite coffee, we headed out hitting some of the trails to the North. Nice, quiet and picturesque back roads this morning - Not so much this afternoon. Some were harder to find than others and at times traffic and placement was an issue, causing us to scratch our heads and wonder about the placement of some. Most caches were found fairly quickly whilst others did cause some consternation. As stated most caches found quickly and in good order.
Thanks for the cache The Drovers and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts. Many apologies for the generic log.

**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.

We were with 'The Crew' in Wagga Wagga for a few days of caching fun! Hitting the trails to the north this morning, we were able to negotiate the busy country farm roads and grab as many caches as we could. After finishing the first series pretty quickly, we knew we were in for a bit more of a challenge for these.
The first section was great! A good variety of hides, some tree climbs and laughs all around. I scared off a snake in exiting fashion (why do I keep seeing/stepping on them?). Signing caches with either a stamp, multiple stamps, hand written names or 'The Crew'. Thanks for the cache, and the series The Drovers.

Continuing along the road today as we made our way along the Friendship series, fitting as we enjoyed a few laughs and some friendly banter as we worked our way along. Plenty of different types and styles of hides that kept us busy, with some taking way too long and also a couple of quicker park and grabs, found with Snap Happy and The Empire, with Happy Feet tagging along to help with the driving. Sorry about the generic log but never the less an enjoyable little series, thanks again The Drovers for the hide.

This was the third find of 35 finds for the day. After finding ‘Welcome Friends’, Mizmaz and I continued the Friendship Trail. With high hopes to find all of them, we were a little disappointed not to find all but we definitely enjoyed the trail, enjoying each other’s company and the weather, although hot, meant the sun was shining on us all day. Don't you just love the phrase "Asking for a friend?" This particular cache was a little more difficult to find given we weren’t expecting to look in different directions compared to the previous cache. These ones are always a little worrying given both of us are not tall so this one needed a little bit of a stretch. SLTNLN. TFTC.

Heading en-route to the Wangaratta Mega, felt it appropriate to tick off this “Friends Trail” with my caching buddy sarah_frances on our first big roadtrip together. Unfortunately a few dnfs, the long grass/terrain of summer and some cars on our tail making it impossible to pull over safely, determined we only managed 13 finds out of the 36. Each title however prompted chat, laughs and at one, a mighty scream!
Headed away for a bit of a post lockdown trip to central west NSW. My main goal for the trip was to find GC2F6F (2001 cache), but as always I couldn't drive past as if it wasn't there. This was one of the many caches I found on my road trip.
The Friends series turned out to be a mixed bag for me. On ocassions I was sure the cache was MIA, other times my fear of creepy crawles got the better of me and then there were times where 1 set of eyes simply wasnt enough.
Thanks to the CO's for hiding your cache and contributing in a small way to the fun I had.

Had a cold but fun time on this series. Only one DNF which required a ladder. Some took a minute to find, while other took a little longer. I finished the series with a coffee at Marrar. Enjoyed the variety of containers and hides.
Saw this one as we walked up to it.
We have now been in Wagga a few days. We have been greeted with beautiful Autumn days with sunshine and clear skies, but the nights have been bitter. The hose to our caravan froze one night!
The caching has been excellent with variety in hides and a wide range of formats. We have been challenged in many instances.
Today we set out on the triangle trail as we call it. What a surprise this proved to be. There was amazing variety in hides and challenges at every turn. Field puzzles, downright nasty hides as well as straightforward ones. We gave our ladder quite a workout, its first real outing, and have resolved to get one or two other TOTTs that would have been handy today. And we thought we were quite well equipped!
Well done Drovers on some magnificent series that combine together. We even gave some favourites which we don't give easily!

After completing the w.w.w. and Flock 'n' Herd series, we decided that there was time to make a start on the Friendship series.
Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. Unfortunately the log was wet and needs attention. Thanks The Drovers for the cache.

It's been a long time we first set off to do this this series, that time we only managed a handful before the light beat us and we had the company of our NZ caching buddy granville86a, now our dear friend is no longer with us but we have no doubt he is watching over our caching adventures. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, with the variety of hides. Really appreciate the effort that goes into setting up and maintaining. This cache was bit on the damp side but signable.
Heading down to Wagga Wagga for a couple of nights and picking up as many caches as we can along the way. Enjoyed the variety of cache containers and the challenges of this trail. Thanks the Drovers!!!
Quick find, thankfully, however it was found lying on the ground. After SL which was very damp, I hooked it back on.

Out and about on a very cold August day; but glad to be out none the less, as it seems like an eternity since I have done some real caching. I am sure all my fellow cachers are well and truly over this predicament we find ourselves in. We will never again take the simple things in life, like going out for a drive and caching, for granted again. The whole thing is messing with my mental wellbeing so hence l was given an early mark from work, thanks Ben, and we have headed out for a wee drive to iron out some mental stress. As usual, l will follow a strict sanitising regime whilst out handling caches etc. This will be a generic log, and l will only add extra to it as needed. I thank you, The Drovers for providing this series for us to enjoy. I only wish my partner was with me today, but we will be out and about again one day soon, burning up Diesel and signing logs. To the caching community, continue to stay safe and well, and keep the dream alive!
After reading the details, it was clear that this was going to take a bit more effort than another power trail I had recently completed. In fact it took approximately twice as long on average to find each cache, which forced us to cut short our adventure and track direct to the other side of the 'V'. Managed a couple of tree climbs, despite geowife's concerns but did demur on one more challenging one. Also a couple of caches eluded us despite our combined best efforts.
Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of hides around the trail despite a couple which eluded us and managed just over 50 completions today. We shall return!
TFTC The Drovers and apologies for the generic logs which in no way detracts from our enjoyment and for all the effort in placing and maintaining this series.

Here is a blurb about us
We are trying to get a badge ,the author ,from project GC for writing found log files of 100 words or more. Once we get this badge we will stop writing this. We are also trying to get badges for adding photos to our found logs .
We started caching in December 2019 and by January 2020 we were hooked. As we are on the road full-time, living in a caravan for almost 2 years now, caching fits in well with this lifestyle. It is taking us to places that we would normally not have gone. When we move to a new place we also look at what caches are in the area and how many days we will need to be there in order to get the caches we want.
We are in Coolamon for a few days and will increase our find numbers by doing this series. It is not our goal to speed through we will take our time , we are looking forward to the variety of hides we will encounter. Thank you for you work in placement and ongoing effort for maintenance of caches.
Trackables that are with us are

Will definately be dropping a few of these as we have had some since prior to lockdown and a separate note will be written.
Once again thanks for the cache.

Enjoyed a day caching with Mrs Wackyweedo and the two younger wackyweedos. Our aim today was to reach 100 cache finds by tackling The Drovers caches around the Coolamon area plus a couple more.
Today was much cooler, with heavy rain and winds throughout the day, then moments of sunshine, which meant less chance of coming across snakes!!
This log was wet but still able to sign.
Thanks The Drovers for the great variety of hides. Loved this series.

Bagging 100 finds in a day has been high on our to-do list for quite a while. After spotting these trails recently they became our school holiday target! Today the kids were loaded into the car with Mrs Stevo & we chipped away it.... Retrieved by our eldest with Mrs Stevo. Tftc The Drovers.
When I was up at Ungarie a few weeks ago and I started the WWW trail I hatched a plan. I knew the rest of my family was going away for the school holidays and so I decided that I would head to Wagga for an overnight trip and try and find 100 caches in a day for the first time. At that point I had collected 50 (and then last weekend I got 54) in a single day, but triple figures was really only possible with a powertrail - and the one The Drovers had set up was worth the effort. So I took a day off work and headed up to make the attempt before everyone gets back tomorrow. Thankfully the weather was not as hot as yesterday so it was a pleasant day driving the blue road grader on the trails north of Wagga.
Up at 5:30 with the first cache at 6AM and by 4PM I had the 100 caches - in the end I got 117 (1 multi, 2 virtuals, 3 earthcaches and the rest Trads - the one solved puzzle was too busy even at 6:30AM). I saw one big Brown Snake, added a couple of birds to my annual list (including Crimson Chats near Gumly Gumly), and saw lots of Caper Whites. Also got plenty of grazes, banged both shins on logs, got a splinter under one fingernail, and suspect I will lose another after dropping a rock on an unlogged Roostaman hide. Climbed a few trees, founds some clever caches and generally had a fantastic time.
This was the start of the main aim of today - The Drover Friendship series. In the end I got 35 of the 36 available (and the one I didn't sign I got high enough but was not prepared to shimmy out the branch). The traffic on this road was a lot less than the other traveled later today. Followed Sharnie's Tribe who had visited the caches over three consecutive days. The terrain was a bit higher for this one, but easily enough grabbed and signed.

So back out we come today to try to make an impression on the Friendship Run. We found most of them, a couple were beyond our capabilities and one we weren't prepared for. The work that has been put into the trails that make up this triangle is very much appreciated, we've really enjoyed the challenge. TFTC

Out this way for a Xmas in July party in Marrar. I targeted some specific caches for a Canberra Challenge. I wonder if you can work out what the criteria was? An easy climb for the last one. Time to head for home.

#3244 I'm in Wagga Wagga for a couple of days caching and some R & R. Found a total of 77 with 3 DNFs in and around WW. A quick find. Replaced as found. Cheers from Canberra. TFTC The Drovers.
Did this trail with my best friend of 55 years who also happens to be my wife.Heading South for the Victorian Mega and collecting a few caches along the way. . 3558 so far for us. Thanks for placing this cache The Drovers, without cachers like you we wouldn't have a hobby. Signed log. took nothing, left nothing.
Found by Mary & David at 1240. Green crop and golden canola - real Aussie colours. M did the deed here with a suitable TOTT, so she gives a FP. Our thanks to The Drovers.
On a caching trip in Wagga with BonnyBlack. Our main challenge for today is complete the friendship series of caches . Managed to complete all but 2 . Some of the caches were harder than others which added to a great caching experience . Thanks to The Drovers for your effort .
Jules6 and I found this cache on our way to completing the series. Thanks Drovers
It is a beautiful sunny, winters day which allow us to make good use of the day out, as OZREG and myself took a drive upto Wagga to grab a long overdue series, for the day. We also managed to grab a few extra caches along the way. We discovered many great and clever hides and lucky enough to have no DNF's for the whole day. A very successful day, with some laughters and good company.
I had been looking forward to doing this series and wasn't disappointed, with lots of different types of hides to find.
GPS was jumping about so this one had us looking all over the place. When we eventually spotted the hide, a few meters from where we were being pointed, it was OZREG that had the honors.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems along way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks The Drovers for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintainence to keep it in play.

Happy Feet 1 and myself took advantage of another mildly warm sunny day among a bleak wintry week to grab more than a few caches. I always enjoy touring unseen places such as this region.

ACTchil and I took a little drive to Wagga setting off early on a mission. We had just picked up the RGGT series and had a nice lunch at Coolamon. My mission was to grab little series to help reach my next milestone of 3,000 that I want to be the UK 10th Anniversary Event next weekend. Just finished the RGGT series, a good quick park and grab, then WWW series, a little harder and a couple of DNF's and running out of time an as this series was on my list we decided to give it a go. I have heard a lot about how much fun this series was and a little tricky so will do as many as we can before it gets dark. We got to 1m of gz and searched everywhere and as we had more to get we decided to move on and come back another day. Might be another amazing camo hide very well hidden? The Drovers
#14610. Here we are. Robmc and I have driven from Beechworth this morning to chase down the Friendship Series and the WWW Series in the hope of getting a souvenir for the World Turtle. We signed off on the first one at 10.06am and finished the Friendship run in approximately 2 hours with 3 DNFs thrown in and a few long searches.
This series could do with a bit of a cache check as a lot of the logs (that are quite small) are almost full, especially after the souvenir hunt this month.
Thanks The Drovers

A short dash up the road to collect some caches to work towards our World Turtle.
BettyBoo3747 and I decided to go to Wagga and have a look at the Friendship and the WWW series.
An interesting collection of containers and hides kept us going all day (well apart from a very nice lunch at Coolamon)
It was also interesting to see the differences between the two series.
Thanks, Robmc.

We had been flat out all month so never got the chance to grab some of the souvenirs on offer. So, at the last minute we decided on a big weekend to grab as many as we could.
This trail seemed like a great place to start and we had been watching it for ages so off we went.
We had a blast chasing the caches here and were lucky enough to find each one on the trail. We loved finding a great variety of containers and they were all in pretty good nick.
Once we finished caching we ducked over to Coolamon were we grabbed a motel for the night ready for another big day tomorrow.

This Friendship Run series has a very appealing name, as we know how friends and friendship have a very important place in life.
We succeessfully found each cache in the series and enjoyed the challenge of some, as well as the relatively easier ones too.
Thanks go to The Drovers for each and every cache in this series.

Out to gather some mythical creatures with indianagleeson and shellumbus. Decided to come and smash out this series and get those numbers up. Thanks for placing these caches for us to find
A little more tricky this time but indianagleeson's keen eyes spotted it on approach

I could only tackle the Friendship Run one way; with my best buddies the Ryan Girls and muggle Starlight. We also welcomed newcomer Jay-Quellan along for the ride! We're having a great time trying to look inconspicuous to the passers by!
TFTC we were surprised at how busy the road is today. So much so the group has taken to set poses as muggles drive by :0
Today is the 14th of April 2018 and I managed to find 151 caches for the day. It was amazing, we did the RGGT and the Friends Series plus about 40 other random caches. We spent a total of almost 10 hours caching and only had two DNF’s. I have included one of the Geocaching poems that I have written. I hope that anyone reading it likes it. Thanks for all the caches and sorry for the generic log for this cache but with 151 caches in one day it would be too hard to write a different one for each cache.
Geocache Poem
By DARKSIDEDAN
My endless search goes on and on
Looking for treasures of every kind
Always chasing just one more find
Putting past DNF’s out of my mind
I step out into the world outside,
Seeking what is hidden from me
What size, shape or form will it be?
Only time will tell, I can’t wait to see
Will I find my prize at the end?
I will search in the failing light and cold
Filling with despair having looked everywhere
Where is this thing that gives my life pleasure?
Looking all around from every angle
I read the logs and check the hint
I curse out loud as I walk in circles
Screaming the bloody thing it not there
As time flies by and I fail to see,
Never once stopping to realize
It always been there before my eyes
No need for sorrow, there’s the Geocache.
***** I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of 31st January 2018 my average was 70 words per log, which seems close to the 100 target. However given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After almost 3000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before this year ends. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****

Found on a beaut day of caching with Joolay, AngelG27 and DarkSideDan. What a lovely town full of good caches. Many thanks to all and sorry for the mainly generic logs. TFTC !!
TFTC. What a complete contrast in weather from the last week. 37 yesterday and now 22 , windy and showers expected. Perfect day to go caching. Beats sitting in a motor home all day. Decided to go out and grab a few caches, change a blue face to a smiley and attempt the Friend Trail. Hopefully we would not get wet or blown away in the process.

Back in Wagga for another weekend of caching - this time with Kittykatch, Joolay and DarkSideDan. A couple of the power trails in our sights, but a few others besides!
Unless otherwise indicated, caches found and in good order. Jump up!
Thanks The Drovers for the cache and the fun!

Tftc. After following our GPS for ten minutes and surprising both us and a snake, we put the phone away and looked. Mrs Jaybeem spotted it but couldn’t reach it.
A nice find on our travels along the trail . Took a while for a couple of oldies to work how to retreive but we managed it. TFTC
My sincere apologies for the late log. I have geocaching finds dating back to 2011 in my GSAK database that I am yet to log; amounting to several thousand un-logged finds across the last 9 years.
So, what to do when you find yourself in this administrative caching 'hole' nightmare? Well you seek out a 'personal assistant' (thanks GoodLook), to assist to remedy the situation of course! I thank the COs for accepting my tardy logs and for your understanding.
Thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the COs and completing this series.
Thank you The Drovers!

We are on a road trip with the aim of getting out of Melbourne for a few days. Heading towards Parkes to see the Dish, then who knows? Another compass infarct! It was a race to see who would get it first. Chief looked at the correct tree before I did. My idiot device sending me in opposite direction! Time for a recalibration I think!
Thanks for placing For A Friend so we could find it. Cache was all good.

As the family and I made our way down south for Christmas, our first stop Wagga Wagga to meet up with friends, so what better way to spend a couple of hours than finding some friendly caches. I did half the series one way, headed to Marrar for lunch, and then came and finished the rest of them with the exception of one. A nice little series which had me exploring another road and town I hadn't been on.

Having a great day geocaching with the family and our new cacher, peta101 easy find. Love watching the kids do these ones, there weirdo
We set off early from our accommodation in the company of our great caching friends Na'wal and DAB with the intent of completing our full list of caches in and around the Wagga area. The weather was ideal with the sun shining as we attacked the Friendship Run from the bottom (the only logical way to do it) and headed north towards Marrar. The geomonkey was needed a couple of times otherwise the hides were easily manageable in our pursuit of a few more smilies.
Thanks very much The Drovers for putting this series out for us and others to enjoy [^]

After a nights rest, the team of DAB, Na'wal and The_Tritonz (DNT) headed out once again to collect some smiley faces. Another great mix of caches were in store for us. Utilising all of our skills we had a very successful day. Once again thanks to the CO's, much appreciated. TFTC The Drovers
DAB, the Tritonz and myself were a long way from home for a caching trip. We were up at the crack of dawn for a big day of caching (signing our logs as The DNT) after camping the night before. This series was tackled in the morning with a surprisingly large amount of traffic. One from each car went in search of these caches as the other drove the geo wheels. A slightly higher cache to find but no issues for us today other than the co-ords had us slightly further away. Signed and replaced as found.

This cache is mean, really really mean!!
I'm in work clothes (think good, non-stretchable) & completely unfit.
I really liked the nearby tree trunk. Wow, just enormous.
