Unfortunately this has disappeared again. Since it was only found once since the last replacement, I think it's time to archive it.
Didn't find it in the spot we thought it would be because of the clues. Is it still there?
Quick find on sunset along a well used walking path. All good with the cache.

Ha! You had me fooled for a moment looking for a bed. Got to the spot and just looked in the most likely place. TFTC.
After Event then drive around Northside to find few caches then went to friend for dinner at Casey Club.... Good hide well,,,, Thanks
After the nearby event I joined adrewbt and DSD to do some caches in the area. Some nice hiking and chatting, we had a great time and it was wonderful to finally put some faces to the names.
A quick find with this one today. Last one of the little caching walk. Thanks for the Cache sumbloke.

Found with DSD and Flinstones.
Returning to cars, and decided to go for one last one.. an easy find with the pen going through the hole and a bison coming out the other side.
Few muggles around, but was placed back in it's hole quite sneakily.

A nice enough Saturday afternoon it was and I just had to get out and find a cache or two. A little spot, not an unreasonable distance from home emerged as I studied the geocaching map...
I really don't know what the four posts thing is about. I mean, there are four posts (I think), but they are not in any arrangement that might suggest a bed. Maybe I'm reading too much into it... Anyway, I found space between the walkers on this very popular path and found the neat but easily found cache. TFTC

Tftc. Found relatively easily and thankfully no arachnids spotted, although definitely the perfect hiding place
It's Australia day weekend, so that must mean Finalf29 is battling it out at CanCon and I am caching with AngelG27... and thus nature is balanced. Last day of my caching weekend with AngelG27, but best cache haul... found twenty three. We had another paddle in the canoe, then just kept caching... even though it felt like 90% humidity and angry ants everywhere! Wonderful day and weekend... Thanks AngelG27 for the lots of laughter, coming up with fantastic plans and being such great company... you are a true friend.
This was my fourth for the day. Thank goodness AngelG27 had an appropriate geotool... I have now put one in my toolkit. What a lovely walking path. Thanks

You know that nightmare when you poke something and hundreds of tiny spiders come running out?
Well this GC is currently an arachnophobia challenge!!
GPS coordinates very accurate, found quickly. Great spot. TFTC!

Found with AngelG27 on an early morning caching run around north Belconnen. Angel did most of the finding! Thanks for the cache!
Cache 3224 on 28 Dec 2017
After grabbing a couple of multis this morning with a certain Fox, it was time to head out with Bobl27 to grab a few more caches on my way to 1000 for the year.
Quick find and accurate coordinates.
Thanks sumbloke for the cache!

I'm out by myself today - not even the GeoSchnauzers. A friend rang me up this morning for help lifting and carrying, as she has broken ribs, I agreed to help. So I had to rapidly decamp, eavingn the poor doggies at home. I did remember to grab my GPSr. After completing the work, and coffee, I decided to find a few caches in the area. I have been working out the UGC series, but haven't got them on my GPS yet, so I decided to go for traditional caches and short walks.
Hah. Seen this hide method before, but it's still a good one. Well done.
Find no 3 of 8 today.
Thanks, sumbloke

On a mission to find 10 caches today. I really enjoyed this one ! I like the name and the set up, it brought a smile to my face. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches.

This cache was found at around 1138 and brings our overall cache find tally to 9435.
Shell and I were staying with friends just around the corner and so before we left town after a great weekend we thought we should road test a local cache, especially as Shell published it. It was quickly found and replaced.
Thanks sumbloke for the cache.

I saw that SecretSquirrel-BJC and Captain Tomato had replaced the missing log sheet, so since I was in the area today I replaced it with a proper one.
Actually I found this originally with Trodectus in 09/03/2017. But I had not entered a log online.
So now that I found it again with Goldenwattle and signed again I will log online with this date!
This spot was really calling out for this kind of Cache.
Thanks For The Cache sumbloke

Parked near GZ and knew exactly what to look for as soon as I'd stopped. Only difficulty was to ensure no passing cars or dog walkers were nearby.

Feeling awful with a lurgy so I'm only up for a few easy caches today. This one fits the bill. But it's time to head home to my bed - not a four poster, but these days two doonas two dogs and a cat. Thanks for the cache, sumbloke!

Ahh yes I have seen this hide a few times in Canberra now! So when I saw the title and started approaching GZ I knew there was only one place it could be!
A nice quick find in a sneaky spot, I remember the first one I found like this took me forever as I was still a bit of a beginner.
Thanks sumbloke container and log are all good to go

Placed back at it's coordinates and the cache still needs attention.

A quick find while out in the burbs. After a pretty standard look in all of the obvious places, we expanded our search encompassing the other side of the road, soon after the cache...or log only was in hand, no container to be found! Didn't have a spare container or bag to protect it, so placed the log unprotected back in its hidey hole, on the opposite side of the road. This cache is in need of repair.

Found it - 3 ftom 3 this morning before we break for coffee. caching with suzella29 - we like the four post theme. I had inages of ab old 'slumberland bed' hidden in the scrub! Tftc!
On my last visit I was foiled by an overly neighbourly muggle. Today was quiet and easy TFTC
It's always good to discover a new cache in your local area especially when it's on your daily walk route TFTC

Out with CBRChic for our weekly night-caching session. A remarkably event free evening after last week's unfortunate ending. Indeed it was a very pleasant and productive night. No moon, so it was very dark once the torches were off. This week we hit Dunlop and surrounds.
A nice use of the street furniture.

Out caching with StrangeTrousers for some night caching. It was a great night for it with no DNF's and the weather was not too cold yet. This time the night was a tat dark but that added to the fun trapsing across the countryside to some of the chaces.

Out for another quick jaunt to find a couple more caches.
Another quick find in a familiar spot. The simplicity of hides like this always make me happy, to know that people can walk past 100 times a day and not even realize.

The thirteenth and final find of the day with my girlfriend. I needed a find to fill the January 2017 spot in my Jasmer grid and this one seemed as good as any since it was close by. We stopped off right next to the cache and located the hide tucked away in a familiar spot. Log signed and cache replaced. TFTC sumbloke!

A lovely long weekend and a few new caches of all types out in the area so headed out with Rapidlywild on a mini mission to clear some up. At last the knee and weather is coming good too so that's a bonus to get back on track with some caching.
Made short work of this one and found it in the first place we looked.

Ahh a public holiday for Canberra Day so it was time to head out with FurfacesLL to grab a couple caches around the Belconnen area.
Had an idea on where this one would be on arrival and turned out to be correct. Log soon signed and cache replaced. Off we go for the next cache. Thanks for the cache placement sumbloke

Found with Decrypter. We decided to go for an afternoon walk and put this one on our radar. An easy find once at GZ, TFTC.
Saturday 18 February - a beautiful Summer's day in the low twenties with light showers perfect to recover from a mild head cold. Car hopped early evening to find 5 from 5 caches to keep my daily stats alive. Quick and easy find. TFTC sumbloke
Was nice to escape the house for a quick drive for a couple of caches. We have seen this hide a few times so knew exactly the spot to poke. Amazing how quickly webs can build up on these! Log signed and replaced as a few drop of rain landed on our head. Thanks Sumbloke, posts do make good hiding spots!
Cool - a new cache near home ... but by the time I saw the email, it had already been found - lol
So ... I have bravely resisted the urge to dash out and find it, so I had it for a daily find within dog walking distance, for a day when I didn't want to have to drive anywhere.
Today was that day
Turns out it was rather a long walk for my poor old 14 year old Golden Geo(non)retriever - especially seeing he wanted to go an even longer way, in an attempt to get closer to the lake - lol
As soon as I looked on the map, the day it was published, I was pretty sure I knew exactly where it was - turns out I was right
TFTC - good excuse to come for a walk to the side of Dunlop I used to live on, and walk around in an area the dog and I used to walk in a lot (we are over on the other side now).

#6147 - 19:15; Popped out for a late Sunday mini mission to collect a few of the newer caches northside and this was the first stop. On the approach, I got an appreciation of the name. Parked the geomobile and headed over to GZ where I managed to pick up the cache on the first attempt. TFTC sumbloke
With not many caches around Belconnen left for me to get I was happy for a new one. Despite the spider webs, the cache was easily retrievable for signing.
Thanks.

First time dash to a ftf
Not quite quick enough. Found cache in a fellow caches hand
Nice meeting and and having a quick chat in the rain with other seekers.
Definitely would not sleep between these four posts.

Second to find!
We don't normally chase FTF but tonight when I saw that this was a mere 1.9km from home and it had only been published 4 minutes before I thought 'why not'? JetFuselage was tucked up in bed. I was about to step in the shower but with take off clearance from WhiteChocolateMocha, I threw my stuff back on and within a couple of minutes landed the camouflaged Boeing 737-800 Subaru Outback 32 metres from GZ. Nobody else around seemed too good to be true and it was, sadly! Found the cache immediately, took it back to the aircraft to extract the log as it wasn't in the right spot, but finally it was in my hands and oh bugger there's already a name on it. No matter, my night geo-expedition had still been fun. Just as I began rolling the log a car zoomed up, braked and stopped. Two people got out with flashlights searching around GZ... hmm, thought I'd better tell them not to bother looking as it wasn't exactly where it should be. Just as I passed over the log, the ladies who nabbed FTF came back. It was nice to have a mini geo-yarn on the sidewalk in the drizzle. Another car came past and we all stared, wondering if it was Stormcatchers or Tankengine - apparently not, the car drove on and turned into a driveway. When the rain got heavier we dispersed. Made the quick flight back to Boeing airfield just in time for a cuppa. Thanks for the little adventure, sumbloke!
