Seeing as the owners last visited the site over a year ago, their emails are not answered and there has been a string of no-finds, maybe this one should be archived?

Great spot. I am sure we had the only significant palm in the area, but there was only a empty bottle. Somebody took something and left something:-(
This was our fourth for the day, and by 16:30 we got tired looking and went home.
Maybe should be changed to a virtual cache or something.

Tackled this cache starting out from Hastings St. Like others before, I am sure that I found the site but no cache to be found. Enjoyed the walk and great views

Took our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren along on this cache, and as it was their first one it was very disappointing that we could not find the cache. We did find a collection of beer bottles so maybe this accounts for it.

We did enjoy the walk though and the views were stunning! We actually did the climb in thongs and probably should have heeded your warning of strong footwear.

Thanks all the same.

Plantman and Mike looked for it on July 16 but it appears to be gone. Plantman had found it earlier and knew where it should be.

plantguy was there 07/16/03.

Left nothing, took nothing.

Came over to this one after our failed attempt at the nearby Plantman #17. We searched and searched in what we confirmed to be the correct location after decrypting the hint, but couldn't come up with a cache.
We hope it is still there as this is a great spot that deserves a cache.

The Aliens have returned the Moose to Earth in less than 24 hrs and have proven the Moose knows nothing and the invasion plans have to wait. On the other hand we found the cache is more accesible from the South and is only a two kilometre meander from this direction. Unfortunately it was a hot Australia Day weekend and the car parks were all full from the North.
Nobody mentioned having to traverse a nudist beach on the way out, does that get a five star for difficulty.
Great location and thanx for the cache

This cache was found again by Tony and Jade on the way to Plantman #17. Came a different route then last time, we parked in the national park car park and walked through the bush walks to Alexander beach. South along the beach lead us quickly to the cache. We weren't really looking for this cache, we just noticed the area looked very familiar all of a sudden and there the cache was! According to the log book this cache has been very busy the last few months. I can confirm that the Monte Carlo travel bug isn't there anymore so I hope someone is just slow updating their bug inventory. Cache still in good condition. We swapped a playstation controller keyring for a small bouncy ball for the cat! A wonderfull location on a week day with nobody else around.

Plantman was here on Monday, January 20, 2003. 34 degrees and no wind, a bit rough on a recently arrived canuck but found it with no trouble and hid two of my own in the Noosa area today. Took the toy bus and left a plantman pet rock, marinerbc rubber ducky and Captain No Beard doubloon, signature items from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada cachers.

Found today after a fun walk through a tangled track. Was a hot summers day but we found the cache in good condition under a pandannus palm. Left a blue cap and took the Eura travel bug. An enjoyable end to our camping trip north of Noosa. Andrew and Maryan.

This is a great cache for a sunny sunday in Queensland found it without too much difficulty the clues were good. All still in tact, fantastic views and well worth the hike. Well done for making this cache. it is not easy but is a good challenge. Take water whilst there is water all round there is not a drop to drink.
Left a painted pot and ball and took small cutter and No 1 Car for a trip. Will drop off somewhere soon.
good stuff

John and Leisa Dragons Lair

Took the whole clan along on this cache find today. After a few false starts we finally found the right way. An easy find once in the right area. Swapped compass whistle and left pens and bus..... Picked up one of the travel bugs. There were 3 in the cache and as yet none have been registered. We then had an educational lesson as we walked along the nearby beach checking out all the different shapes. Some good, some not so good.

Thanks guys - The Rats

[I actually approached this cache from the noosa side, and had a great time looking for it. I actually set off to get an idea of the lay of the land. I left at about 3:30, but I was so close, I figured I just had to find it ! So by the time I had found the cache I was running short on time !

There are some great views from this location, and I can highly recommend a rather scenic spot very close by to where the cache is located. Check out S26 23.545 E153 07.053 , you overlook two little coves, I was running out of light, so I wasn't able to do it all justice..

After a few wrong turns I fournd the cache hidden EXACTLY where the co-ordinates mentioned (even though the car park co-ords seem to be in the ocean) A lovely cache, and location, I only wish I had more time to spend there ! I really wanted the hat, but didn't think it was a fair trade for what I left (I didn't have time to get to a toy store, so I had to make leave stuff that I had with me for travel) so I took the golf ball instead !

Can Highly recommend this cache Smile

Hint : ] If I were to do this trip again from noosa, it is quite easy ; go to the top of Hastings st, into the national park, and then take any path to sunshine beach (which is very pretty) from sunshine beach, the cache is easy to find, and easy to get to, with good gps coverage. [ going another way (like I did) ended up in going through a few bushes with scary spiders.. hee hee

Great cache, thanks Smile]

A nice pleasant hike to the cache in the cool of the afternoon. Took my mum and younger sister on their first caching adventure. A nice one for them to start on. My sister wanted the cosmic pen, so I traded a jigsaw puzzle and a Goosebumps ruler for it for her. Would have liked to stay around to enjoy the place a bit more, but it was getting late.

My farthest north cache so far (Also the closest to Bundaberg!)

Start of a wonderfull Sunday and we headed up the coast to Noosa. We parked the car where Wyde sugested (about 0.5km off shore in the coral sea) before we decided that this wasn't a really good place to stop (I will be sending you the cleaning bill for that one Smile). We walked to the IP and scrambled up the beach head DoD style like Tom Hanks before reaching the top.

From here we would our way through a maze of small tracks before finding ourselves out on the head under a large palm. It looks like the tree had recently been trimmed as there was alot of palm bits around the base. The was also evidence of a bit of a beach party very close by. I was sure the cache would have been discovered but there is was, under a few palm bits as described. We took the three paint brushes in the end (hard to decide between that and the dog book). We left a cosmic pod pen (one of my favourites). It has lights in it and when you press a button it flashes like a UFO. It will probably go off accidently in the cache and cause a shipwreck or something. Our day was made complete with a guy walking around the area absolutly starkers except for a whole lot of tatoos and a cap.

On the trip back I really wish we had marked some waypoints. We eventually found our way back to the car after a good walk.

Thanks gang for the cache, you might want to re-check those car park coords. Tony & Jade.

Found 2pm.
Had no problem with the carpark co-ordinates and locted the IP sign easily. It was a very warm day and the track was steeper than we expected. The GPS lead us directly to the spot and the cache was quickly discovered.
Took the coax plug and left pencil sharpeners.
The coastal views were spectacular and worth the climb.
We also encountered the completely starkers man at the top. He mst lie in wait for Geocachers.
Silver Ferns and Allie.

Found at 1.45PM Another great spot we wouldn't have visited if there hadn't been a cache here. Great views and quite a pleasant walk. We swapped a blank audio tape for the coffee mug. Greg and Bev
