Found it but lost my pen so couldn't sign it. Put it back where we found it.
Well Im lost, dont know if its the heat of the sun or the last person taking it on themself to hide it in a different spot that threw me off
Cache was sitting out in the open and at first we mistook it for some rubbish but eventually realised it was the cache.
We hid it a little better before leaving.

Soon as we found the spot I thought it would take forever to find. Thankfully was the first place I looked. Tftc
Heading out after work to pick up a cache, we arrived at the GZ and started looking for the "obvious" . Took a few tries but eventually the cache was found and the log was signed. TNLNSL TFTC .
Djmccullagh I found your cache Stargate SG1 - Cronus on 13/12/2022, 1:20 pm. This is my find 4570 and find # 5 today. Yep, it’s there. Took a bit of time to locate but found I did. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
2285 - I moved along the walkway and found myself searching for this one. I walked over to the obvious spot and found the cache straight away, but discounted it as rubbish as it was exposed and looked like rubbish. Not the first time I've done that either. After searching around for at least five minutes, I returned to the cache and discovered it was what I was looking for in the first place. I scrawled my name on the log sheet at 2.14pm. Thanks again Djmccullagh.
Whilst on our two-day cycling trip with the kids we stopped to grab the caches along this bike path. It was all quiet with hardly a soul to be seen in this area. We were heading across to Redcliffe to camp the night. This one was another quick find in an obvious location. TFTC.
Spotted a likely hidey spot and was right first time.
Boy, it's hot out today...
Thanks!!

After a morning of yakking out picking up a few caches and enjoying being outside.
That wasn’t too difficult. A little lifting, a grab, a signature and we’re off. TFTC
After a lovely morning spent out on water
attending the 4 Mile Creek Bird watching Event, E_Smiley and myself decided to find a few land based caches before we went our separate ways.
Enjoying the walk along this lovely bike path and another quick find once at GZ.

We allowed ourselves 5 minutes to find this one and planned to search intently on our way back. Surprised we found it in 10 seconds!
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Djmccullagh.

Another rock bed drain cache that we couldn’t find today. Again wondering if last weeks heavy deluge is the reason?
Of the multiple options at GZ, we were lucky that our eyes lit upon the brightly coloured quiche from the right angle before we had even really started searching. Position makes all the difference! The train lines are very busy this morning.

Aiming to start the New Year with a nice round 4000 finds, I decided to pull the bike out and head out with La Kedi to collect all the caches along this bikeway. A nice variety of hides, some tricky, some straightforward and an enjoyable morning altogether. We weren’t sure if this was the cache container until we opened it and saw the log. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC Southpaws88
Our third find as we biked the track to Kippa Ring today. Unfortunately water ahs gotten into the container and the log is damp and in need of replacement, though we did manage to sign it
Thanks for the series Southpaws88

What a beaut outing on a slightly cooler morning, ‘tho it warmed up by the time we returned to base Pedalled around 30 kliks with Beardman75 from Petrie station to Kippa-Ring and back. The trip east was punctuated by Stargates and a few side bites. Pretty sure I was running on Red Bull on the much quicker trip back Logged 21 finds, 6 + 1 bonus DNF Hope to be back on the bike to clean up the map

Ms Maddy and I met up at Petrie Station for a ride to Kippa Ring and some caching along the way. It was overcast and cool when we started at 8am but quite sunny and warm by the time we arrived back at Petrie Station around 1pm. We found 21 caches and unfortunately DNF'd 6 caches but it was a fun morning out and the muffin at the turnaround point was well earned. Thanks for the cache
Out on foot on a mission to get my 300th cache, hot day but a cool breeze at my back helped TFTC
Under about the 27th rock. I am sure that this area will be flipped so many times by hunters. Anyhoo, found the container, extracted the log and signed off for the day. It's getting too hot. TFTC Djmccullagh
Continuing my ride along the railway line, a short search through as per the clue and I soon had to hand. TFTC
The challenge wasn't working out which rock, it was getting the log out of the cache container(fat fingers). TFTC
Another quick find. Felt empty so I thought it was a decoy till I opened it. TFTC
At 1st I thought I'd found some more litter....but wait; there's a log inside & T4TC
Out for a cycle along the MBRT to Petrie and picked up 4 geocaches along the way. This was the second find today. Turned over a few rocks in the wrong area before changing the location and finally the container was located, the logbook signed and returned to its hiding spot.
Thanks for the cache, Djmccullagh!
Thanks for the cache, Djmccullagh!
This still took us a few minutes of rock rolling until we found the correct rock.
A good hint made for quick find at GZ. The grass has just been mown and everything looks very green here at the moment. Log signed and then on our way. All good here with this one.
Thanks

Hidden Creatures Find #91 - Today is the last day to get the World Turtle, so I am hitting the Petrie to Mango Hill bikeway to finish off the Hidden Creatures event. I found this one quickly as I spotted a hint of colour through the rocks. TFTC
Thanks for the cache!
Neglected to bring pencil (idiot me) so attached is photo with friendly geokids. Will return to sign later.

Continuing my walking journey along here,
I skipped the previous cache to this, vowing to grab it on my return journey, due to a drive of muggles going past, and headed straight to this one. Another quick find thankfully. Sometimes these hides aren't as horrifying as you expect them to be.
Thanks for the cache Djmccullagh.

We are parked up at Lawnton Showgrounds while we arrange to have a new caravan built, today we took our bikes for a ride along the bike path from Petrie - it's great to have a nice quite area to cycle.
We found all but one of the caches we visited and had a lot of fun.
thanks for a wonderful afternoon of geocaching.

We planned to do part of the SG series today ... weather permitting. It had been forecast for rain today and lots of it. Fortunately for us it was a sun shiny day with not a threat in the sky. We started at Petrie and got about half way on the bikes before we decided that was enough for the day. We were really impressed with the cycle way

Out riding with hubby from Kipparing to Petrie. Made it all the way with 22 finds, a handful of dnfs and one rather spectacular fall from my bike.
This time the obvious rock was rather more obvious! Nice quick find.

My record with these types of caches is anything to skite about, but fortunately there was a telltale sign that made this one a bit easier. TFTC Djmccullagh.
Continuing my caching adventure along the bike trail with Roger of rbutto. A quick search and the cache was soon in hand. TFTC Djmccullagh
I was a little concerned when I saw the rocks however the hide was obvious! Great series. TFTC
I have had the caches in this area on my To Do list for some time but they are too far way from home to just duck out and find a few so I have not done any of them until today.
I didn't pick a good day for strolling along concrete paths as it was a scorcher and i had started at 11am.
I had parked at Kallangur Station and caught a train to Mango Hill and worked my way back to Kallangur and then caught another train to Petrie and then walked back to Kallangur. The heat was getting to me by the time I finished.
I can't say that I am a fan of this type of hide but there were only a couple of likely spots to search and soon had the cache in hand.

Joined RhoBoCacher for her daily cache run, and while she waited, applied some ignoring of GPS jumping around and applying some thought, went to obvious rock

Out in the area today visiting a friend and on my way home realised I still needed my daily cache so this was the next one on my unfound trail. Was a fairly quick find as the hint proved helpful and when I saw it I thought hey I have one set (4) of these containers and didnt even think that they could be used for a cache. So while I was signing I had a smile on my face and thought well done that is clever. TFTC
Out on another afternoon caching adventure with the geokids and hubby
Nice and easy find TFTC!

Found it. After a good look around and much rock movement the cache was I had the cache in hand. Tftc.
A much easier find on our second try. Kept it simple and that completes the Stargate SG1 series which we have enjoyed so much and it has taken us to places we probably wouldn't have travelled. So thank you for taking the time to place them. TFTC's.
I set out this morning to get some quick exercise but spent a lot of time looking for caches in the wrong areas with a little bit of bush-bashing mixed in for good measure.
Ahh! GZ looked like a rock hunt and I was keen to make light work of it. Somehow I didn't. I went deep treating my fellow rock heads poorly. Deep wasn't the answer so I came back out for a systematic approach.
On the next sweep I concentrated on rocks that looked different and came up trumps. Lots of great spots here to park the bike. tftc
