We saw why Beavar wrote her log on 23/11/22With disappointment we were trying to devise a rescue plan when Mr Riddell found a nice replacement cache on the ground at GZ.It had COs name in it so we were pleased that it was authentic. However, we did replace the glad wrap with a snap lock bag!Happily signed the log and replaced to where it may have come from at GZTFTC

Went for a drive early this morning to check on this cache now that the river level has fallen. And the cache is still there. All nice and dry and just waiting to be found again. All is good. Thanks and Cheers. The CO.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Sparra0907,

It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

This cache is fine and dandy. We are just waiting for the water to go down and it's fine.

Can’t get to this one. May need to archive for a while. I won’t bother looking at the rest along the Murray.

Day 2 of the Wang trip starts here. We camped last night just a little down stream. Plenty of mozzies fed well.

e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found as I made my way from Adelaide to the Mega event at Wangaratta with Freddo.

We meandered our way across northern Victoria, camping along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks. We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other caches opportunistically as we were passing.

Thanks Sparra0907 for the cache.

I needed a find for the new year souvenir, so after working in swan hill for the day took a short detour out here. Soon found what I required and left my mark TFTC

Our final day in northern Victoria in the fine company of the Suscoe duo, we ventured out to convert some of our sad blue face icons to smileys and to find a few more of the unfounds calling from our map!! A few camping spots were in use - nice weather for it.

Our thanks to 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Suscoe headed out early today with our good friends Phetlern.
We had planned a trip up to Swan Hill and back through Pental Island.
The day was warm and very sunny.
The roads were reasonably quiet and we came across many folks camping along the riverbanks.

Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide.
We enjoyed the drive out through the farms and a quick find was made here.

Pleased that both the cache and RH's phone were found quickly. Not sure if we would have found it had he lost it earlier. Thanks for the cache.

11-Jul-20
This was a nice quick find with not a lot of help from RH. Thankfully he did locate his phone though as it could have been an epic effort to try and locate where he lost it during our travels. Thanks for the cache.

The geocaching holiday continues with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37. We finally made it to Swan Hill after an epic drive (100kms in 6hrs). Today is the first day exploring the hill.
Couldn’t find my phone in the car so this cache was found by the time I got to GZ!

Thanks Sparra0907 for placing the hide!

If this one was meant to be in the... 'where I think it might be' then it may be missing Big Grin or its just so well hidden and very very cammoed. My eyes ain't what they used to be ha ha
If it is it's one of the trickiest hides i've tried in ages and i failed today... miserably! lol Big Grin [Maybe i'm just on the wrong side of town Big Grin]

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Unfortunately this 2/2 didn't want to show itself to us today!

Thanks for the hunt anyway Sparra0907.

Another nice area to bring us to. Judging by the tracks it must be popular with the locals as well. Spot on coords for this one. Shame it wasn't full with what normally goes in these, i could have done with one! Thx Sparra

Another good detour out to a 'locals spot' and a short search around,
had me the Contigo in paw Big Grin
Well that explains the odd cache name [:o)]

Probably not the best area to camp in,
as the dirt bikers are over running the place Sad

TFTC.
