I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in a prior reviewer note.
Hi Jodiporsche
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

DNF, as other's have said.
Spoke to a local who said flood waters had covered the area.

No sign of a cache anywhere…could be my poor finding skills or potentially it was lost during the cyclone?
One thing i love about geocaching is the new places it takes you. Miss 12 was eager to find a couple while were here on holiday. I would have never stopped here if there wasn't a cache to find. Thank you
My first find in the country! I walked down here at sunset for to read some signs. Amazing place and in love with Hawkes Bay. Small.
Very interesting place. Lots of information. Thanks for the cache. FP for the location.
Thoroughly enjoyed this park. Very interesting, learned a lot.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Rather difficult one, found it in the end though, had some muggles think we were up to no good.
Headed out for a bike ride around the area, so many cool trails. This was an easy find, TFTC
Great place to visit, thanks for sharing it with us!
Took photo as didn’t have time to sign on the road with tour group.

Great info boards had to read several times waiting for visitors to go. Great cache
A very quick stop and go with the wind so strong. The smallest cache found to date. TFTC
It's been a long time since we'd visited the Hawke's Bay and we had not seen the star compass before so stopped off for a look on our way into Napier. An interesting spot, and the beach/river mouth nearby was full of anglers, terns, and bees! Youngest son quickly located the cache. TFTC
todays caching trip was to sunny Napier.
squirrel Nutcase and I left Rotorua at 4.02am
good drive down with very little traffic on the road.
plan was to make a sweep around city ,down towards Hastings back through Taradale and back to Rotorua tonight. we arrived back just before 10 pm with several caches ticked off.
surprising lots of vehicles parked here.
quick find but information boards with a lot of nz history

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… In an effort to smash the next level of the ‘Reach the Peak’ challenge, we pre planned this little road trip weeks ago. To get a jump on the day, we were on our way at precisely 4:02 AM. With little traffic to contend with, we were able to hit the ground running well before 7:00AM…
This hide looked reachable from the beach. Our attempt was abandoned as track conditions became too soft to continue. After some advice, we found the correct approach for this cache. Despite a few visitors in the area, we were able to collect this one quickly. Thanks Jodiporsche and TFTC.

Just visiting interesting spots. Thanks for placing a cache here. The information signs are very interesting. Despite a busy GZ, the cache was easily retrieved without issue. TFTC
Not any problem here and a nice wee container was soon located and replaced after signing in.
Not much planned for today, just a visit to Napier and a lunch out at Gintrap and it didn't disappoint. Had a nice walk along the river in Clive then headed to the other nice area we've seen from the bridge a few times. All good to visit some new areas on interest.
The weekend is here and for a change I've got a four-dayer planned with a trip across from Taupo to Napier to have a couple of nights in Havelock North and local area, followed by a trip back across the Napier-Taihape Road to stay at our daughters for a day before watching the football on Monday and then Coming Home, he's coming home, capperz is coming home (football didn't as it turned out! Well done to Italy.
A few nice caches found, not huge numbers so quality rather than quantity. A few more of the PWGT caches as well as some others here and there, thanks to all COs.

This was so fun. Tent to encourage rubbish pick up so many muggles. I had a sneaky lean while learning but to make things more ninja like took photo instead of signing.
Did the bike trail along the coast. This cache was a good excuse to stop and rest. Tftc
The ladies from rattll and watcache decided a girly weekend in the Hawkes Bay was in order, so left the boys a list of chores, packed their bags and headed off for a weekend of frivolity and mischief.
We were surprised to find the Hawkes Bay was remarkably quiet, especially considering it was the last few days of the school holidays. However, the exception was the night club that was next door to our room at the backpackers, that provided us with a free live band that played predominantly loud reggae music until the wee hours of the morning. Too old to 'bop' the night away? Apparently not! Mrs watcache however can sleep through anything!!!
We pulled over here to decide where to go next and Mrs watcache pointed out there was a cache here and asked if I had it. We had decided to focus on caches neither of us had but as this one was only 50 mts away and I didn't have it, how could I say no.
Had to be a bit stealthy with a few muggles coming and going, but it didn't take long to lay hands on it.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find

We have wanted to get to this spot for a while. Eventually got to it today. Great place to visit. The information on the boards are thorough. Have to be extra stealthy as it is a popular spot. TFTC
Loved this interesting area and reading the sign boards. Jetskis were racing today so extra entertainment to enjoy TFTC
We wouldn't have stopped here and wouldn't have known about this place if it weren't for the geocache. Very well worth the stop! A great spot with educational and cultural value as well as for the nature. Beautiful. I'm liking the Hawke's Bay more and more. TFTC.
One of nine caches located today on day 2 of our motorhome summer holiday to Hawkes Bay. En route today from Woodville to Napier. Went for an evening bike ride from our NZMCA park base and picked up a couple of caches. This was a reasonably quick find. #3632. TFTC.
I decided to use the opportunity of having a quiet few days off work over Xmas to drive over to the Hawkes Bay in order to be a cacher in that region for the first time.
There were only a few people around today so I was able to conduct my search in relative ease. It only took a moment of hunting around before I made the find as the cache was nicely hidden away in accordance with the Hint. On opening the container, there was nothing untoward found with the log, which was signed before the whole lot was replaced back where I found it.
Thanks for setting this cache up, and I wish you a happy and prosperous 2021

Replaced with permission from CO. Terrific place to visit. Loved reading all the plaques. TFTC
