### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###
----------
Hi there jitsv318,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers don't have a crystal ball, so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, or you have been in hospital, or the area is in flood, they can't tell what is going on with the cache.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).
Thanks for your cooperation,

Could not find any sign of a cache today 16/2/22
Again a good search on 22/2/22. No luck
Overgrown with prickle bushes... suggest leave until the owner can do something.
Mongrel spot according to co-ordinates.
Thx JJHHXX

Quick find today on my way home from a working day in Horsham. I’ve been meaning to detour here the last few times but have never had time. I enjoyed the walk and stretch of the legs to break up my drive. Thanks for the caches.
I managed to find it quickly... good time of year because there is little greenery on the trees so it stands out much more
TFTC. We are camped at Green Hill Lake for a few days as an escape from the pre Christmas madness. While here we are using geocaching to explore the area.
Parked the geo-vehicle and walked the trail. Certainly got my exercise today.

Very hard. But found it covered in pickles now.fpund a cool skull while in here tho
After recent DNF's we went and checked this one.The acacias have grown a lot since we placed it, making it a lot tricker to spot. We have increased the difficulty rating so people know to look a little harder. The existing hint and accurate coordinates will help too
Re-enabling due to easing of restrictions. Cache Responsibly- Socially distance, wash your hands, enjoy the fresh air!
Due to Covid 19 pandemic we are disabling ALL our caches until the health risk is over. The advice is clear.. STAY HOME.. we do not want our caches to be a reason people are out ignoring official advice.
Here I am ...
... hunting Bison again
Is it Bison season ??
I can't find any reference on Victorian.gov websites [:o]
Ignoring the legalities,
I soon had this beast in me sights
Gotcha !!

Fed and watered and back outside again after the rain storm has passed. Another wander along the Cemetery Creek Track with magpies for company. Took a while to spot this one, but clever hide not in the obvious place. SL at 7.48pm after replacing the full and damaged log sheet. #6875 TFTC jits318
Time to head home and find more caches along the way. Trigger_Fish has a plan in his head, I'm along for the comic relief.
There was time for some caching around Ararat on the long run home.
Thanks for the cache jits318.

Grabbed on our way home after attending the St Arnaud Mega. Wet log. TFTC jits318.
Wandered in circles for a while before spotting the cache that’s hanging around in plain sight.

Found it!! Forgot to bring a pen. Paper log quite damp. Took me a while to find. Good one!
Stayed a night in Ararat, Victoria on the way home to Adelaide, South Australia. Took a while to spot. Staying at Acacia caravan park. Was pleased to find 3 caches. Tftc
Wow this was super hard in the dark!! And watch out for prickles frkom the trees. Managed to find it in the end with stray_dog. Log book was damp. Tftc
Find No. 2647. Found at 12.28pm
A days trip caching in the car, over to Ararat with Geodog Penny on board and FUF009 came as well.
We parked the car and off we walked to get the three caches along the trail in this area. We had Penny with us and she loves walking in bushy areas, not being on her lead and doing what she wants.
This was the first one we came across. Took a few minutes to find as we weren't looking at the right tree. Once found we signed the log and onto the next one we walked.

I walked into this cache only as I had a long way to travel today.
The clue and good coords led to a quick find.
Thanks

Bit of tricky one to find, but I was a bit annoyed after finding it and realising I walked by it a few dozen times
Log book soggy and smudged and also full, couldn’t replace it because didn’t have anything
Heading over to the Mega in Melbourne and spent the afternoon caching around Ararat TFTC
Log is full speed stamped over a faint name

Overnighting at Ararat Acacia Caravan Park so took a walk along the nearby Cemetery Creek Track. GPS was all over the space and gave us a couple of false starts but eventually the Bison was found. Just enough room for a mini Yin Yang token - seemed appropriate as we are also near the Gum San Chinese Centre. TFTC. 2BluFish
Log was wet and no space left - we would have replaced log but had no paper with us, sorry.
While visiting with Rustydigger we set off to explore the area and see if we could add some smiles, the youngest team member made the find at this one after a lovely walk through an area we had never been to, thanks for giving us another reason to explore, thanks for the cache and the fun
took a little while for the GPS to settle in to about a 5 m radius then we started looking, wasn't long before Ad of team Cherad had it in his sights
My phone kept sending me into the very prickly acacia clumps and I was getting not only prickled, caught up and scratched and wondering about my sanity and the stupidity of a CO to place a cache in the middle of a prickle patch when the phone finally pointed where it should have been all along. Quick find then and calm returned. Tftc

Final leg of an amazing trip to S.A.'s iconic Yorke Peninsula. We allowed time around Ararat, to seek out the caches, left untouched last time we were in the area.
A surprise to meet Crack 'n' LeeLee and 2beez as we walked back to our truck.
Thanks to 'jits318' for the hunt and cache placement

Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! The showers held off long enough for us to wander into this one!!
A quick find here on a wet and damp start to our second day of caching in and around Ararat.

This one took me some time to find despite it being in plain sight! After much aimless wandering I spotted the cache and had the log signed. What a great location, it would be good to see a trail of caches along this walking track. I continued along the trail and spotted a wallaby. TFTC!

Collecting some elusive mystical creatures with wozzle68 we headed to Ararat for the day to cache the town and the outlying areas as far as Great Western. The sun was shining and the wind was bitter cold but it didn't rain and that was all we could ask for, especially as it is the middle of winter.
Parking the car close by we made our way along the track to help catch the roaming bison. Luckily Mr Triton had sharp eyes today as he spotted it on approach so the log was signed quicky before said bison could escape our clutches lol
Thanks jits318 for the bison hunt

In the area caching with The_Tritonz today trying to clean up our unfounded. Thanks for highlighting the peaceful walking track
Didnt bring a pen but left a red heart. Could someone sign log for us please Searching with the geokids. TFTC
After a day of people logging my caches, I needed to log one myself.
An odd location, not sure where to park, or where to begin. With the sun setting, light fading. SWM found it, as I was distracted with other locations.

Found during an early morning solo ride whilst the rest of the geo-crew slept in. A nice little downhill run through the bush as well. Many thanks jits318
The second out of two found during my yearly clean-up-Ararat trip. Once I knew exactly what I was looking for, I had it in a heartbeat. I like the way it's been secured in place - not one I see a lot, and one that should be in place a lot more. Thanks for this one - these caches are still making me see angles of Ararat I never saw in nearly 20 years of living here. Cheers!
Found en route to the Big Billy event with PerpertuallyLost. A nice walk down to this one in the rain and an quick find which was welcome. Many thanks to Jits318 for the hide.
Travelling with the Fergzter on our way to the Big Billy Event this weekend and as it was pouring rain overnight and still raining thismorning we were picking up caches that were close to the highway or short walks. This bison had us circling all around him before i finally laid eyes on him and he was captured at last. Tftc jits318, would be s lovely place for a walk on a nice day!
Found It!
A nice little walk and a quick find. By the time I got here the weather had cooled down to which was nice!

Took a bit of searching to find this one and the GPSr didn't settle quickly. Eventually spotted it at 10:15am. Has given us an option for a future bushwalk.

After our weekend in Stawell we were returning to Melbourne but diverted ourselves through Ararat to catch a cache or two. It was a pleasant walk through this bush park to GZ and the cache was soon spotted at 12:20. TFTC
We have been meaning to grab this one for the last few days, finally decided that we will make a quick trip across town. S made the find. TFTC
Found during a trip back to Ararat for the weekend.
