We had a second go at this cache after spending a bit of time going through the log activity and realising it wasn't as big as we thought it was, to top that off our GPS had us in the wrong spot!Cache found in good condition...TFTC Alicecaching
If the coordinates are correct then this cache has possibly been buried when the road might have had a grader go through! We had a good look around but no joy!
After arriving in Alice yesterday , today was a 'rest' day before heading out of town to explore the surrounds - which also meant an opportunity for some caching .Lots of room for expansion here [xx(][:o)].TNLNSL.Thanks again Alicecaching.
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, we are so glad we went the wrong way first and paid our respects to our anzacs then took us long than it should have , definitely didn’t have our geo eyes on but soon have the little fella in hand, thanks for placing this cache
Almost at Alice Springs, we made a quick stop and took a walk along the fence to this cache.
It took a while to find it, probably because we were looking for a different size of cache.
Suggest to update the description to match the actual size of this cache.

We didn’t realise when we came to central Australia on a school trip that we would be taking an adventure through a cemetery. However, we were pleased to learn a little bit of the local history as we wandered through. Thank you for bringing us here. We are from Melbourne
We were panicking about whether we needed to be inside or outside for this one. Luckily outside sufficed. Unfortunately, a giant spider guardian made this a bit of a hair raising experience to retrieve, but we got our name in the logbook eventually. TFTC

On a trip around oz with the family, grabbing dinner caches as I go! Nice quick find here, tftc!
A 2 month/11,000km road trip up north to Darwin, where it’s a lot warmer than here, Mrs Boomajarril & I packed up the caravan, geo-dogs, and left the 9°C cold weather behind. Found at 2.35pm after a 2km walk from the Transport Museum where we camped while in The Alice. Cache and log in good condition.
All the caches in this section, I am grateful that there were driving tracks. When first looking at the map, I thought I might have had to walk it.
Took a little too long to find this park and grab. But found it eventually by changing what I thought I was looking for.

a bison isn't a regular last time i checked the guidelines, quick find still. spotted by mogni.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to Alicecaching from mogni

Found! Was a bit worried in the long grass, but a previous log gave me a pretty big clue as to the location. TFTC!
Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, stopped in Mount Isa for a little spell and to catch up with new friends drrnrchr and attack all the caches here. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 20 October 2021 12:43 pm Tyfc Alicecaching total caches now 2896 took a while looking for a regular, not nice.
Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo along the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka, then through central Queensland to Quilpie, Blackall, Barcaldine, Hughendon and Ravenshoe to Cairns. In Cairns I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend and spent three weeks on Cape York Peninsula before making our way back to Cairns and Mareeba. From there I headed on my own back home via Normanton and Karumba, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and back down the Stuart Highway through Alice Springs to Adelaide. All in all I spent six weeks on the road, visited many out of the way locations, enjoying the scenery and finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Alicecaching!
Time is not on my side today and I found a spot where logic says it must be but alas. A DNF for me until next time
We are doing a caching run this morning picking up a few treasures and this is one we found. All good with the cache (it is there where it should be) log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Alicecaching for placing these caches.
Nicely camouflaged cache here.
Certainly placed in the best location to blends in.

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

I spent a couple of hours driving around the suburbs finding a few caches while exploring on my second day in Alice. [^]
I didn't find this one yesterday when I looked as I was fixated on one thing and even though I looked further I missed it.
Today after talking to some previous finders I went back and found it straight away. I don't know how I didn't see that yesterday.
Thanks for the cache Alicecaching.

Tftc, good to see that this track is a bit cleaner than the other one that is close by.
Cute find. It was easier than I expected and loved that after a few DNFs that I have had today
We have travelled from A (our home in SW of WA) to B via the Savannah Way with a two week unexpected detainment in Mackay which has set us back, now sadly travelling back to A via the Outback Way from Winton to Laverton
We have extra time in Alice than we planned so some extra caching is now happening. Gotta love that
A lovely little track to drive on. While I did signing duties at the cache Mr dimor turned the car around and we were off to the next

Staying overnight in Alice on my way to a mine site, I took the opportunity to find a few geocaches in the area and visit the town and its surroundings.
A quick find here of a nice-sized cache. Thank you for the hide Alicecaching.
