We are staying here for a night as we drive for the south. After setting up Camp we came to have a look at town and also found the lovely welcome sign here to Murrurundi. We have a hide ourselves in a very similar setting, and so we thought we would target that idea first which proved fruitful. Pretty soon we had our name in the log here. Thanks pseud0Domsky
Day 18 of my fortnight+ road trip up to Brisbane and back to Blue Mountains. Half day left thence home this afternoon. Many GC challenges achieved, favourited hides visited, random selected geocaches attempted (mostly smileys). A beaut road trip in short. Some geocaching in Upper Hunter LGA mid afternoon. Older logs gave a clue. TFTC pseud0
Visiting Australia from the states and found this cache. I read many previous logs that helped us find it quickly. TFTF.
Staying at the lovely Murrurundi caravan park for a rest and a break from the daily grind was a lovely day for this one made me wish I had brought my dogs with me as this town is such a dog friendly environment.
Find#2471Quick find at GZ. Heading home to branxton and stopped to get this very interesting cache on a very cool piece of local artwork Cache and log in good conditionTFTC
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Today we moved from Tamworth to Muswellbrook, stopping along the way to grab a cache or 2 in LGA's we have not previously been. After hitching up at Tamworth, we discovered a slow leak in a tyre so repairs underway before leaving. Caching with the van on tow is always a challenge but with heightened senses we were even more stressed todayWe found your cache today. TFTC pseud0
Found with PapaGrouch. On our way north from Sydney we stopped to find a few caches. We picked this one up on the way past. I had checked one side and was just starting to check the other when PapaGrouch said here it is, as he had started on that side. TFTC
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Last day in Murrurundi, so it was time to go find the only cache in town. Had a few minutes to spare after packing up equipment in the van, so headed across town and parked near GZ. Had read the description in detail, and multiple logs, so I was pretty confident I knew what I was looking for. Wandered over to GZ and located the needle in the haystack on the first pass. Extracted the log and signed it, then replaced all as found. Have enjoyed our stay here and the smiley just caps it off.Gratias pro cache pseud0
Staying at the caravan park for a couple of days and walked into town for breakfast. Walked the 3.5 klm to this one on a nice warm morning. Traffic not too bad but constant. Total Caches Found 16113TFTC pseud0
After spending a couple of weeks in Canberra attending the Mega Event it was time to head back to Brisbane. We have a few weeks to travel so we are meandering up through country NSW. We arrived in Murrurundi this afternoon and found this cache on the way in. I had a good idea of what I'd be looking for when I saw the feature. After some meticulous looking I eventually found the cache. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches for us all to find.
(7 of 9 today)Time to head home, but not via the most direct route. Am trying to target a few LGAs on the border that Im unlikely to revisit, and see some towns Ive never visited.Started at 7m in Tenterfield and headed west towards Moree and the south to Gunnedah.Even with regular cache stops this was a long way of solo driving. Finally got home at 8pm.But an interesting day - and even found two caches just found by a fellow Sydney cacher. What are the chances?###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Stopped for this one and before I was back at the car a wide load that Id already passed twice today went past me - again. Really? Obviously stopping for caches does have a downside. Who knew?Checked the obvious but finally my eyes lit on something familiar. Gotcha! And the cacher I knew had been here two days ago - obviously travelling slower then me. Completed signing duties and replaced. Then off again and passed that load for the third and final time!SLTNLN TFTC
Nice hide, but was not feeling sheepish, so found quickly. You can't fool this old dog! TFTC
Heading south again, I stopped off to find this cache. I had to wait for the rain to stop before heading to GZ. Once there, a quick find was made. With my name added to the log and everything returned as found, I continued on my way. TFTC
The needle in a haystack comment told me what I was looking for as soon as I approached. Quick find here. Tftc!
#2633A quick park and grab during my return road trip to Sydney from Mudgee and yes Im taking the long way around.TFTC
Found it! Once again, reading previous logs paid off. And yea the log was saturated, so I had e replaced with a new one in a zippy bag, so hopefully it will survive a bit longer. TFTC
Driving up to Bendy from Newy with the red car and Geooma. We wanted to do a few stops along the way to see places, so I chose some caches along the way accordingly. This cache was one of these. Quick find, on a quick stop. A nice sign and all in good order. Thank you pseud0 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
A quick find thanks to the clever hint. The log paper has been damaged by water but we were still able to sign.
Found easily but the log was wet, so I've attached a photo log. My first find in the Upper Hunter region.
On a weeks trip in our camper from Tuncurry through Comboyne, Nundle and Murrurundi, then home to Newcastle. This was the first time wed had the opportunity to look for a cache. Geohubby, whos a geologist, spotted this one as soon as we reached GZ, so one of our quickest finds to date! Thanks for the cache, pseud0, and for adding extra enjoyment to our trip! SL
Were becoming familiar with great and fun sculptures in towns we visit. I love the variety and often humour in them. Its eye catching and helps individualise the townships. The cache was found quickly, thank goodness, so we could get on our way.
After a lovely lunch at the pub we head off again grabbing this one on our way out. Nice quick find and sign, tftc
Always pays to read the description. Found it easily then after almost giving up.
Loved the entrance sign. The cache was found by icybeetas whilst I was taking a photo to send to my son, the drover. Thanks for placing the cache here for our amusement.
Passing through on the way to Bathurst I paused a while to make the find. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our challenge and enjoyment.

Heading to Tamworth for Naterater13's ? gala day. Had left with plenty of time to make a quick stop and find. This could've been a challenge had I not read a couple of previous logs. TFTC
Nice stop here and stretch...
This could have been a long hunt but the cache was paler than its cousins And Great coords

Gee murrurundi is such a cute town. Did a 360 as I was travelling south, this cache is tough amongst all those hard objects but it’s shade is slightly different. Tftc
Sims_family and Dromaniax are on day Six of a our 10 day trip to Queensland and back again towing a 12x8x7 foot trailer that is loaded to the hilt and weighs quite a bit. Fuel efficiency has gone out the window with the Ginja Ninja (My Orange Mitsubishi Triton) going through fuel faster than I have ever seen before.
Day six and the day we are looking forward to as we plan to do Frying pan tonight a must do cache on our journey home.
With the trailer we are keeping it simple when it comes to caches so this was a good one for us to grab on the way through.
A quick park and run across the road for the grab. It wasn't a long search before we came up with the goods.
Thank you pseud0 for the hide and sorry for the late log, I am still trying to catch up on logs from our big journey

Today is the sixth day of the Sims_family/Dromaniax big road trip to Queensland and back again.
We are towing a very big trailer, which was chockers, but when you have a mission, someone else is paying for the fuel, and there is the opportunity for nine days of caching fresh fields, you jump at the chance.
We have a long list of target caches and hope to cross quite a few goals off the list on this trip.
We were heading back south now, and the Trailer was significantly lighter.
We had a fair idea of what we were looking for as soon as we saw where it was hidden and had the cache in hand quickly.
Thank you for this Traditional cache pseud0

Headed up the coast, way up in fact, to collect a geohound but plans took an unexpected turn. So while I drive 9 hrs up via Sydney, decided I'd go inland on the way home and collect a few counties, fill-ins for my Jasmer, and some other older caches to make the journey worthwhile. And of course who can resist an ADLAB here and there when it's about discovery and learning.
So this was such a quick and easy find, and cache in good condition. Less than 15secs!
Thanks so much pseud0 for getting me out and about, and for highlighting this spot

A very tricky hide which took us some time to find. Took some helpful advise from previous logs. Signed and replaced. The cache is in good condition. Thanks pseudO for placing the cache.
Dnf, but only had a quick look as we have had a big day out maby will come back a nother time.
Found it after a long while looking. Was looking in all the right spots just missed it a few times. Definitely did not expect it. Good hiding spot though.
Not sure if the empty cable ties are a red herring, but it was a no from me today
So I just logged I did not fire d, the cable ties has nothing to do with the cache . Keep looking, it's there as , not wanting to be defeated I returned with my eyes tuned and cache was quickly in hand. Thank you, really enjoyed this little town, what a treasure. Dog friendly pub had me from the start! Thanks for placing this cache here
Found but not in tube, but good spot! Log in good condition but I didn’t write in it cos no pen. Goldenwattle was the last entry on 11/6/22. TFTC
A quickish find. It was the cache I suspected it would be, but the bison tube is missing leaving just the log, which is dry at present, but without a new bison tube, it mightn't stay dry. TFTC pseud0.
Staying at Muswellbrook Showground for the June LWE we went for a drive to look around the area and headed up here antique hunting and just had to stop and find the cache. A very quick find.

Faked me out for a while and I was feeling a bit sheepish about it. But found it and on we go to the Gong.
Heading south we randomly met Bruce and Marg heading north at this GZ. With a combined effort the cache was swiftly spotted and returned. Log could do with a freshen up due to being waterlogged. All the best on your trip North ??
I got to GZ and groaned, thinking of all the possible hidey holes, and then I spotted the cleverly concealed cache. Thanks pseud0 for the cache
Stopped on the way north, quick find, tried to get a photo of the snow topped mountains in the background. Thanks for the cache and rest stop.
Found pretty quickly, log still in camo but lost our pen on our travels.. photo taken if required TFTC
On the world wind tour after the QLD mega i stopped for this cache,
A quick find and off to Scone for a scone or two

#7165 Day 7 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in leaving Tamworth and heading down to Bathurst for the night. Not a lot of time for caching today. Weather is warm but good. Looking forward to Burning Mountain on the way.
Didn't take too long to spot this familiar one.
Thanks pseud0

Heading home from the CacheQLD Mega with LuckyL10n an this was our next stop. An interesting statue/monument to have a look at. Cache was spotted after a short search and the log was duly signed. Then back to the car and on our way again.

#11232 - 12:17; Day 12 of a road trip with Sol de lune for the CacheQLD - Dayboro Mega and we are now headed for home. After spending the night in Tamworth, we collected a few local caches and then headed for Gunnedah to add another LGA area to our found list, then Quirindi and on through Murrurrundi heading for Scone when we stopped to grab this cache at an interesting installation. After a short search we soon had cache in hand and the log signed. TFTC pseud0

Today’s adventure is the Picnic Train from Maitland through to Werris Creek. However, with a breakdown of the locomotive, the steam engine can go no further than here. So with 3 hours to kill, I made the short walk out here to find this cache. And let me just say, it was worth it. Really enjoy finding these containers ?? Road was quite today and the view spectacular, even enjoyed the last bite of the sun!
Container in good condition. Log book dry. TFTCSL Thanks for placing pseud0
