Logs
I thought Id find some caches eh. Headed over to this one. Read some logs and had the CIH quickly without getting my boots wet. TFTH
Visiting Sydney for four days to attend a conference. In between the schedule when I had free time, I picked up some labs and caches in the city that had cropped up since I was last in town earlier in the year.Out on a late night run to clean up LGAs in Sydney. Tonights evening goal was to tick off Inner West, Canada Bay and Burwood. I headed off on foot from one of only two in Burwood to clean this one up and tick off my Canada Bay card. Not the most inspiring cache, and it was missing the lid, but it did the job. Cheers rinsemesocks!
Find #: 3,717Companions: NoneMuggles: NoneWeather: Grey spring morningCache condition: GoodAfter running the Rhodes parkrun I explored the nearby(ish) area's caches; this was my second. I had read previous logs so knew where not to look, and had a good clue as where to look instead, so soon had CIH - TNLNSL TFTC
Nope. Couldn't find anything at GZ, but according to the logs it seems that's off. Couldn't spend more time looking as kids were getting bored. Oh well.
Definitely not easy since the location is slightly off. Less tricky once you read the log entries.
Found once I ignored the title.Should have trusted activity notes and avoided getting my shoes muddy. Also found lid hiding inside cache, replaced it but very loose and could use a rubber band? to keep it in place.
We spent a little bit too much time checking where we thought a troll would be hiding. After widening our search a bit, we found the cache not too far off. TFTC!
Managed to sneak in a few finds after work and before the footy at Homebush. Parked near tennis and after a stroll to GZ cache was quickly in hand. TFTC!
In the area that I once frequented when I lived and worked in the nearby area. Good to see the place again.Took a bit longer than i thought it should have but got it in the end.TFTC rinsemesocks
There were a few muggles nearby so I put my hand into the webs and found the cache. I went to sign nearby and it didnt smell too good. I smell a rat.Cache will need some love as the lid is missing In Sydney for a few days before heading to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. Today was all about catching public transport to pick up new LGAs.rinsemesocks, I found Gipps Street Troll today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Glad I'd done some reading on the cache before we arrived as I stumbled upon a hint about where not to look. I wasn't looking forward to a search there so happy days! a super quick and easy find thanks to the helpful hint. TFTC rinsemesocks.
Finally found on our 3rd attempt! Originally tried during 2021. Log clues very helpful!
Found while out on a storyStill sitting our visit to Sydney. Quick find by one of the geokids. Tftc.
#12654 13:40An afternoon of getting smilies around Concord. This little troll was hiding in an unexpected place. It did not hide at a spot where trolls are usually found.TFTC rinsemesocks.
A quick trip to Sydney to meet up with RoamingHowie who was en route to QOGM.
Day One: An early morning flight from MEL. Then, passing through as many LGAs as possible as we drive up to Newcastle, finding various caches along the way.
After searching in the three obvious locations down below, I noticed the terrain rating and headed back up to easier accessible locations. A quick find thereafter.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, rinsemesocks

Day 6. A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
OZHockeyChick was flying in this morning for 3 days of caching around Sydney and Newcastle including Frying pan!
I think the weather is wreaking havoc with the gps today as we were searching in the wrong area for this one for a bit. Much easier find than where we were looking.
Thanks rinsemesocks for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

A little effort required as my phone’s GPS suggests 11 metres away. Lid was detached, now put back until next time
#4336 A quick find with Green-martian while waiting for some roof racks to be installed. TftC. Cheers from Canberra.
Found while waiting for a car service at nearby wangal park. Cache was found on guard rail near light, needs a lid but everything dry. Tftc
Took a bit of searching here. But after reading previous logs and widening the search area had cache in hand. Tftc
Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 5. After a fun few days with a large group of cachers, I spent this rainy day driving around Sydney seeking out a few caches in as many counties of those I have not cached in before as I can. As ever, doing anything in Sydney seems to take a long time and I think I managed seven counties today. Some caches were in busy public areas and some were in nice tucked away spots that seemed a bit secret. It was a difficult day, but all in all very satisfying. I will have to come back to finish off the last few counties in the future. I did not go all the way home but stopped the night in Marulan for some caching there in the morning.
After a really heavy bit of rain, I headed over to GZ, I was a little surprised to be well away from the usual troll resting location, but the cache was right there at GZ, so no problems here.
Thanks for the cache rinsemesocks

Nice clue. Love the Troll idea. Really cool brought us to place we didn't know about. TFTC!
We have found it. 4 of us. Took 20 mi utes but found it on the side of the road . Good find
Looked around for and didn’t see i think I know where it was and I’m pretty sure someone may have took it
the coordinates are a bit off but when i realised and someone gave a huge hint, i knew straight away where it was. TFTC
A nice quick find in a typical RMS hiding place and container. I’m sure I looked for this a long time ago but it was early in my caching career. Made a quick find and signed today when I glimpsed a hint of pink poking out where it didn’t belong. TFTC
Found!
Coordinates are quite off but here is an alternative:))

Wow I really should have found this quicker but still a good find. Not where I thought it would be. RMS doing their job.
A super quick and easy find to start the day.
Cache is in a good condition but it does need a new log.
