Found during a long weekend geocaching around Mt Gambier that saw an entertaining variety of caches and events, some caches as easy finds, others challenging, a few that required a hint from a kindly CO to locate, and one or two failed attempts that will need a return visit for another search! Thanks for the cache mogni!
I came down with mogni to do cache maintenance on some of her caches in Mount Gambier and surrounds. quick find.
Auch diesen haben wir gefunden und geloggt. Gruss Fasabrir

While doing "a lap of the lake" we stopped off for this cache. Great parkland around the lake.
Today was a day of various activities in the limestone coast region. The morning began with Mount Gambier parkrun around the blue lake, a breakfast and farmers markets, and then geocaching to Penola to catch up at the Millicent mega promotion event. It was then geocaching back to Mount Gambier and finished off the day with a cave dive at Engelbrecht Cave East.
This geocache had some nice camouflage, and is what I’ve come to expect from mogni's caches. A nice zig zag path actually. Thanks mogni! This cache was in good shape.

Found whilst out on my after work walk. Had to venture off course a bit, but made a quick find. TFTC
Hi ho hi ho a zig zag we shall go.
Found the nicely cammoed container after a bit of also going round and round, there is fruit on the ground from the trees, didn't know what they were but even the birds haven't picked holes in them so we are guessing they're not edible. After being up on the lake walking track this is much more pleasant today with a bit of wind protection, even our hats were not safe up there.
Thanks mogni for the cache, now to zig zag up the hill aah.

At first I was kind of confused how to get to the cache due to the T but as I got closer I saw the path. Watch out for the thorns.

Suscoe's last day in Mount Gambier and we had a lovely time picking up a few more caches.
The day started out with solid drizzle before we got up. The remainder of the day was cloudy, a little sunny and mild, the perfect temperature for us to caching in.
We enjoyed some town caches, some farmland caches and some coastal caches.
Thanks to mogni for this hide, a short walk down the path and the cache was soon found.
A cheeky magpie was nearby while the cache was found and the walk back to the car.
No food from us today.

Hi there mogni.
We went for a stroll around Blue Lake today. We started at "A Lap of the Lake" and continued in a clockwise direction. In hindsight walking in the other direction would have proved to be a better option.
We enjoyed our outing and found 6 caches (& DNF'd 0) in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

While spending a few days in Mount Gambier we decided that a walk around the lovely blue lake was on the agenda while the weather was pleasantly cool
We grabbed some caches on our wanderings and were fortunate that we didn’t encounter too many muggles at inconvenient spots
This was our first find for the day and what a nice cache it is
Many thanks for a great cache mogni....a favourite point from us

Thought this might best be approached from the bottom, so zig zag up we went .
Quickly found hiding in it's little spot . TNLNSL.
Thanks again Mogni.

Wow, this is a little gem of a place.... didn't expect to see this here....lol thought it was a road on the map...ooops should of been a little more observant. Loved going on this walk that I did whilst the geohubbie and daughter did their fixing car mechanics thing. TFTC

Heute: 3. Cache von total 5 Caches.
Der Cache lag ohne Tarnung am Boden. Nach dem Loggen haben wir ihn hoffentlich am richtigen Ort wieder versteckt.

The cache lay on the floor without camouflage. After logging, we have hopefully hid it again in the right place.

Thanks for showing us this particular spot - it meant we were able to get down to your other cache just down the way. The container (great camo) was upside down and exposed when we arrived. I placed it back where I think it belongs, but you might want to check on it. We had no idea this crater was here, so thank you for giving us a reason to stop.
Found by Mary & David at 0905. We'll be back home tonight after around 6 weeks on the road. Hard to believe we have been so far and done so much. Love your back yard. Our thanks to mogni.
After attending a morning event, cabbos and myself decided a walk around the Blue Lake was in order, something to do with exercise, sunshine, views... oh and of course... finding caches.
We started collecting the info for the multi and had to remember to check the app for any trads we might pass along the way
Zig that way, zag the other way and before you know it had a camoed cache.

Strolling around the lake with 3LG doing some caching when we zigzagged down to this one.. Thanks mogni for the smiley
Took a short cut across the zig and found the cache hidden, the method used is similar to one of mine. Returning uphill we took advantage of the zig and the zag.
Found this cache while walking around the lake today. We are here with friends to a couple of days. We got up early to walk around the lake before lunch. It was very cold and quite windy this morning but we gradually warmed up. The others were lagging behind so I crossed the road to find the cache. At Gz the cache was quickly found. Thanks mogni

Took us a while to narrow the search zone but got there in the end. Thanks for the cache.
While doing a walk around Blue Lake I had the chance to grab some caches . No big problems here, just a nice and easy find .

Here with CPwanderer caching around Mt Gambier.
A cool name for a cache, seen something similar to this.
The location here was much prettier and a great view.
Thanks for the walk mogni

Found on a tour of the town with Mogni! Great weather and a fantastic part of the planet. Nice to have the cache CO of so many of the Mount caches with me on this occasion.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to mogni and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

A few days away with Freddo and Four Fun down to Mt Gambier.
We picked up caches as we went.
Great times.
We zigged, we zagged, we found the cache.

Along with Freddo and Team Waldron I spent a fun weekend in the South East area finding many interesting and some challenging caches.
This was one of our finds along the way. Took the zig zag route to the cache but a b-line back from it
Cheers & TFTC mogni

A public holiday at home in Victoria care of Daniel Andrews so the family headed across the border for some shopping and hit a few caches while the rest of the family went shopping. A very obvious hide found very quickly
Thanks

After spending the night in Mount Gambier I had to about 2.00 p.m .before I had to start towards home. So with an early start I thought I might be able to clear up a few caches first.
The Mogni Meanderings series wasn't here last time I was in town so I might try a few of those first. [^]
I started at the bottom which meant I had to make my way to the top. What a way to warm up with the first cache. Had to wait for a few early muggle walkers and dogs to pass before I made the easy find.
Thanks mogni for this cache and series.

We parked the campervan up and wandered back to GZ. There were many muggles around this morning, despite it being bitterly cold.
It didn't take long to find the cache, then back to the warm campervan for a few minutes before the next cache.
Thanks for putting this here mogni

We were actually just preparing to go out to do some out of town caching when I noticed these new ones pop up...once we were ready we headed out...
We had a reasonably easy walk to this one from Blume Tce...
Very odd looking citrus trees around here...not so much the trees but the fruit...don't know what sort they are...
Yes I can see the zigzag walkway from here...
Anyway the cache was quickly located...
