Great find by the Norwood/Rose Park Joey Scouts! We left our scavenger hunt for the park inside for the next person to find!
Finally found it after a couple of disappointing attempts.TFTC GiantInflatableFrog.Striker and Runningman222.
Out for a long stroll and trying to find a few geocaches.I searched for as long as I could, and I just had to give up. I hate it when I cant find a container of reasonable size. Oh well, you cant find them all. And the location was awesome.
That was the best geocache we ever found !!! But... we got wet a bit and my dad was really helpful tracking it down
Today I had the good fortune to have an hour or so to kill in upper Burnside. Still plenty of caches for me to find around here; this is one of the four that I logged today. Ive been here once before, but there were some muggles in an inconvenient spot, and they clearly werent moving any time soon. Lots of people out and about today, but mostly passing dog walkers. Using the gaps in the foot traffic, I found that the cache wasnt where I thought it would be anyway. There has been a significant tree collapse not far from GZ, but Im confident that the cache wont be threatened by the clean up. I didnt get wet. Looks like original logbook here. Thanks for getting a regular in this spot GiantInflatableFrog.
Great hiding spot, couple of spiders o had to brush away but cool stuff inside the cash
After a great hunt, I found it w Rembabe420! Swapped Smurf for sea glass, TFTC
found w henry_allert! we swapped a smurf for some sea glass! tftc in such a lovely spot
Cache has been dried out and replaced in its original location. Thanks again destroy_stone for alerting us to the problem.
I've added the following note to the description:
*As of August 2023, some rocks on the southern edge of the pond have collapsed. This has not affected the cache location, as the cache is not in the collapsed area. Please take extra care if searching nearby.*

We were right on the spot. Did some precarious scrambling. Looks like it might be buried under collapsed rock edge or washed away.
TFTC! GC found 150m downriver of original GZ wedged against log. Lid was off and full of water. Retrieved original logbook to dry out but did not attempt return to GZ due to previously observed movement in rocks. So is currently out of action. Will DM the CO for return. May want to reassess location.
Hmm, sounds like we some sorting out to do. Out of action in the meantime. Thanks destroy_stone.
Soo hard. Found it after looking high and low. Please don't fall in the water!!

Once we'd decided what side we should be on, Chookster found the cache pretty much where we expected it to be. A really pretty spot, and without these caches, I probably would never have come here.

Well this is one naughtybunny and I really enjoyed. This is what caching was about in the beginning - discovering places which are amazing and didn't know exist. Now it seems to be a numbers game. We loved the walk along Second Creek and wandered through the Botanic Park. The cache was found after looking at some clues in the logs. We had trouble knowing which side to be on and with the giant bush, it may have taken ages. Took Scout Badge, left Lego Piece. Cheers.
Wow wow wow what a little slice of heaven is the hike up here, thanks so much for bringing me here

pretty hard, had a big adventure. It was pouring heavily and we had to cross over a slippery log a few times. Mum caused a landslide on one of the big rocks and I found it later, it was wet and dirty with a spiderweb. A spider ran up my sleeve after I grabbed it. It was a bit of a freak but had fun finding it anyway
Came back after struggling to find it yesterday, had got on my hands and knees to find this time! This find was very rewarding TFTC!!!
Love this spot. Approached from below to locate, then seized from above. TFTC!
An absolutely gorgeous place to just stop and take in the wonder of the world. After an impromptu brunch and walk in the sunny weather we decided to follow a path I had driven past my whole life but never travelled. Not too tricky a find after reading some previous logs. TFTC! Sabo + JJ
Now into the suburbs from our walk from Greenhill, we thought this would be a bit closer but had to go around. It's a great park that we had never seen before but have driven by on Greenhill rd many times. Loved the hiding spot.

Great little find. Very tricky. With help from @locus cache and Rex via a serendipitous meeting the week prior, Peanut cavoodle and I returned for the prize. Almost muggled! Not a pretty position if you don’t want to stack it
I walk this path often!

I'd planned on attending the Pi day event and then the Pi day CITO today[^][^]
What I hadn't planned on was chasing 2 FTFs before heading to those events
Still, Rex and I found the 1st FTF in a spot close to where we have found other caches before
We enjoyed the great view from the site of the 2nd FTF[^][^]
Then it was off to Burnside for the events[^], where it was awesome to catch up with several interstate geocachers[^]
On our way home, Rex and I took a deviating route and found 5 more caches and that brought the day's total to 9[^]
We also had a great walk[^][:X], and Rex had huge fun[:X] playing with Fritz the Cardigan Corgi and Peanut the Poodle in Slapes Gully where we met a newish geocacher and her friend (Peanut's humans) as we searched for a cache there for waaaaay to long!
There was close to 2 hours spent here When I am distracted, I struggle to find geocaches and especially with an audience watching/helping me to find it
Within 5 minutes of Peanut's humans leaving, the cache was in hand!

Serendipitous cache as we were out for a casual stroll. Haven't been to this quiet little reserve in years. Also: duck.
Found after almost going head over turkey into creek!
Thanks for the cache!

Spent a while on the marshy wrong side of the creek dejected and despondent from a recent DNF. Moved around some and found it in a far more friendly spot! Will never understand why we find items such as cigarette filters in these caches. Wtf?
Nevertheless,
Thanks for the cache in such a stunning spot!

Cache replaced. It's a bit light on swaps at the moment but at least it's findable now, and we'll try to top up soon.
Have tried a couple of times now with no luck. Looked on both sides to no avail. We’ll be back again for another go!
A sunny afternoon following uni, with an event later that evening meant that a caching afternoon was on the cards. An enjoyable time was had as I avenged a few previous dnf’s and found some new caches as well. As the day moved towards evening, I finally made my way towards the event. Despite arriving early, there were already some cachers at gz, so I was not alone. Over the course of the evening, pizza was had, sod was drunk and lots of stories were told, an enjoyable event over all.
