Time to archive now. Thank you to all who took part and helped make this such a successful event.
We are soon to archive this page, but noticed one of the TBs taken from the event has not yet been
logged: Adam's Adventures.
It is a rather precious TB travelling in memory of a husband and cacher who has passed away, so it would be great to know it was still safely on its travels. Thanks very much.

Very happy to have been able to attend this pirate event with my mum! I even had a bit of yummy muffin. Thanks geodatum for the fun times!
Family commitments meant we could only call in for a short time, but we were met by warm company in a warm room - a winter warmer indeed! Thanks for organising geodatum, this is an excellent venue.
Left home early after pre[paring everything for lunch ready for visitors , donned my pirate hat arrived at the venue. This is ideal place for a such a gathering. and i had a nice cup of tea and yummy, although odd looking scone, for morning tea and talked to both locals and wgtn's before everyone was given the co-ords and as i had to get home before grandchn arrived from wellington i set of in Scoria's company and we found the th e two new caches. which were joint FTF.
\Thank you for this event and the new caches. forgot to take photo inside so i took one of the sculpture of the moa outside showing the lovely day .which i will post later.

Yarr!
An excellent Meet&Greet for us buccaneers.
Unfortunately we encountered some swells on the ocean which delayed us docking in Port, but we made it in time to sign the logbook.
Thanks for hosting this and helping us tick off another dot-day

992 So glad to have attended this with DangerSAM! I have memories of the Winter Warmer the year before when Sam was only 10 days old and it was our first adventure out of the house and we were very nervous parents. Now DangerSAM has more caches than weeks old to his name and will probably reach a half thousand before he is two!
Was great to catch up with friends, and meeting a few familiar names that I was able to finally put faces to. I look forward to the next one if I am in the area! Thanks geodatum for the excellent event, the souvenir, and the couple of new caches.!

We were a tad late waiting to see if hubby's blokarting was on as there was not much wind. (He was on duty for preparing afternoon tea so once it was declared postponed we were in the car and off - Blokarting rescheduled for tomorrow when it is expected to be windy!) An excellent event and full credit to Geodatum for arranging it. One of the best events I have been too and loved the venue - warm and sunny and great food. A fabulous turnout and loads of noisey chatter and great to meet some new faces. Thoroughly enjoyed it and we were one of the last to leave.
Thanks for organising another great event. Was a lovely location and awesome company. I'll be back here in summer to explore the outdoor play area more.
After the storm of the last couple of days it was a nice sunny morning to venture out and meet up with a good sized group of fellow cachers. Only Mr All7ofusNZ and one of the Jr. Cachers could make it in the end to enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat. Have been to a few of these events now so there were plenty of familiar faces to catch up with and a few hints to puzzle caches were exchanged. Good to grab a few new caches too. Thanks for organising this event Captain geodatum.
We arrived a little late, having been side tracked by a couple of new caches which were published as we were driving down the driveway.
This is a nice central location to draw people from many different directions.
Thanks for putting on another well organized event, Geodatum. We especially loved the pirate garb and log in book. And thanks for the two joint FTF caches.

Thank you for a wonderful time today! We enjoyed catching up with other cachers and seeing familiar and new faces. We're all ready looking forward to next year's Winter Warmers! It was lovely to catch up with our hosts as well; thank you again Geodatum for a lovely day and some new caches!
Thank you for hosting another great winter warmer, this is my 3rd, I remover attending my 1st nervous as anything but I shouldn't have been as you are such great hosts and the crew are lovely. Sorry I couldn't stay any longer but little man wanted to get to his cousins party.
A lovely drive in the sunshine today as I made my way up to my 4th Winter Warmer. Always great to catch up with everyone and George and Megan made for some mean looking pirates
A nice cuppa and a quick bite to eat then it was back out into the sunshine to collect the two new caches placed by team Geodatum for the event and a few more as I made my way home.
Many thanks for yet another well organised event.

9293. After the winter storms over the last few days, it was a clear morning to drive the 130 odd kilometres from the other end of Wellington Road to get to Sanson. The event was already in full swing when we arrived. Loved the pirate outfits and the huge treasure map on the centre table. Great to meet and chat to the fellow crew members … both familiar and new ones. Had a good bite of fish (of course) pie and a brew (of tea), then off to find the fresh new caches.
Thanks for organising the warmer event (now edition number four), and …

another fantastic turn out with a great event put together by Geodatum, it was nice to have the sun on my back after the weather we have been having, well thought out log book
We were quite late to this event, but were very pleased to find one so close to where we were staying for the weekend, being down from Auckland. It was lovely to meet a great group of cachers from the Manawatu-Wellington- Wairarapa area. Love the log book and the chance to get 2 joint FTF's.
Thank you so much for hosting.

Lovely weather today after the week's storms so went for a drive from Wellington to attend this very enjoyable event. I was able to meet quite a few new caching names along with some familiar ones and it was really good to chat and swap some experiences. Finished the day afterwards by heading on and scoring some unfound caches in the Feilding area. Thanks to geodatum for organising, I really enjoyed it. And the food and coffee were good too!
After a horrible couple of days weather-wise, it was good to have a lovely warm Winter Warmer Event. It was good to catch up with other cachers, local & out-of-towners, in this sunny & cosy room. Thanks Megan & George for hosting another enjoyable Winter Warmer.
Nice sunny day, snow on the ranges and a geocaching winter warmer event to attend. I was one of the early ones to arrive, sat down and started nattering with Haydn.seek. I was surprised when I got up a little later to see the two tables behind me had filled up.
Two new caches where up for grabs as joint FTF for attendees of the event so we set off to locate and log the bootie.
Good day, good location and good company, cheers for organising.

Infoferret mentions the Tardis & a certain de Lorean - I think either of these modes of transport would be ideal, given that the appointed date is two years ago! Arrgh! Sadly my time travelling days are done
Whoops. Date all fixed now.
Aargh.. tha' be well spotted (Jolly) RogerW1nz! T'were a test to see who were the best spotter - t' put him in th' Crow's Nest t' do us spottin' - so make sure ye wears yer woolly vest - it be cold up thar!!

I'm going to attempt to attend. Have a family celebration in Taupo, might have to leave super early (rotorua) and go "via" sanson!
We are heading to the manawatu from auckland for a family birthday this weekend. We hope to be able to leave celebrations for a wee while to make this event with darthcacher1 and purply
Ahoy me hearties (aargh... we bin t' Talk-Like-a-Pirate School!)
Winter Warmer IV ain't exactly a pirate meet-up, but pirates be hav'n a way o' takin' over!
So, if ye want t' come as a landlubber ye can, but if ye want t' show yer piratical spirit (an' tha' don' mean rum, ye scurvy dogs!), tha' be fine too. Ye can start yer search for cunnin' ol' Cap'n Mary Hyde's treasure...
See yers all the fifteenth day o' July, ye motley lot!!

Hopefully we can attend this, heading to Wanganui this day so depends on when our event over there starts.
With a souvenir on offer how could we not? A delegation from All7ofusNZ will be there.
We've just found you'll be able to earn a new souvenir by attending our event which fortuitously falls at the start of a July-August piratical challenge, seeking 'The lost treasure of Mary Hyde':
"July 15-16 – Build your crew by attending or hosting an event and earn a souvenir..."

I'm so sorry we would of loved to of been there but we will be in Europe. Have a lovely get together see you when we return in August.
We will definitely come to this as it works in perfectly with hubby's Saturday afternoon blokarting just along the road!
Unfortunately I am unable to attend as the date clashes with a work event that I'm holding in Napier.
