A little trip from Narrabri to see this nice little town. After geocaching we enjoyed the nice and warm bath. TFTC!
After our travels it was time to sell our Matilda the campervan and settle down in Narrabri for few months. On our day off from work we drove here to do some geocaching and enjoy nice day. Thank you for the cache!
Stayed here overnight while enjoying the nearby artesian pool. Enjoyed the wander along the wetlands. Most hides where found after a short search. Loved the different containers and hides. Thanks for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
We stayed at the Pilliga bore baths overnight and I thought I’d check out the wetlands walk this morning.
It was lovely and peaceful and I could hear and see lots of birds. It was interesting reading the info boards. This cache helped me to navigate to the end of the walk because it got a little confusing at one point. Tftc

Tftc Coongoola, When we stayed at the bore baths here about 3 years ago before we were geocaching we did this walk.
It was a lot drier then.
Today there was some wet to the wetlands and a variety of water birds enjoying the location .
All caches were in good condition.
Thanks

Day 3 of our adventure to Townsville Mega. Glad the gates could be opened here, made a quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to congoola.
TFTC,
We thought that it would be best to start here but looking at the grass, decided to try from the other end.
Quick find.

TFTC.almost in Pilliga town centre. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this walk. Now to walk back to the artesian bore to soak the joints and muscles in the warmth.
Officially hot with sweat pouring off me. So pleased to see the car here waiting for me. Final cache was another quick find but had to work for the log
Thanks coongoola for the cache.

I started out relatively early for me this morning and I was so glad I did. The walk is exposed and the sun was hot. Especially by the time I finished at 10:30. Thanks to excellent coordinates all caches were found .
Yes I was getting quite hot as I approached the GZ and was glad to be at the end of the caches. As I walked up to the road Pa appeared on cue and we drove to the cafe for a coffee before heading off to the cemetery. TFTC Coongoola and the series.

Due to the resent rain it's hard to get to the cages along the walkway . Found this onetftc
Caching in and around Pilliga and surrounds we picked up a few caches and this was one of them.
A nice stroll around the wetlands, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks coongoola for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We spot this cluster of caches on the map and were thrilled to see there was a walk involved. Our two favorite pastimes combined - geocaching and a nature walk.
So we decided to take a detour and travel from Narrabri to Gilgandra via Pilliga.
It was well worth the extra 40 kms. We thoroughly enjoyed the walk and were surprised at how much water there is here. All the caches were easy to find and the info boards are interesting.
Be sure to cover yourself in insect repellent and wear a fly veil if you have one.
Thanks Coongoola for creating this trail and bringing us here.

Heading south from Gundy geo-caching and camping. Took a detour to the Australian Telescope Compact Array, then another to the Pilliga hot artesian baths, and blow me down if there's not a whole series of caches here as well ! On way out of town now, and its early, so time to grab a few more to add to yesterday's tally. Another well placed, maintained and accurate hiding place. TFTC coongoola.
Lucky last have enjoyed thanks for taking the time to place geocachers alongside the wetlands we have enjoyed the birds and the excise Cheers
Day 3 of our epic journey to Cape York and the third day of our streak. We continued today with a series of easy little finds along the Pillaga Wetlands walk - a lovely stroll of about 4 km return. TFTCs
Hi there coongoola. We're currently camped at Burren Junction Borebaths, so today was a touring day between Burren Junction and Pilliga - a pretty easy day. This cache was a quick find and the container and the log are dry and in good condition. SL. Thanks to coongoola for this cache - our find #6656.
Found by Mary and David at 1440. We are loving the sunshine each day and, in most places, lush green grass. Saw two emus just out of town. Enjoyed the walk. Our thanks to coongoola.
We stayed overnight at the campsite in Pilliga.
We’ve done this series as part of our plan to do a nice walking tour
Thank you for the cache

I was all set to do this walk, in the heat, the plan was for the wife to drop me off and pick me up at the other end, problem is, as soon as I got to the gate and realised I am allowed to drive this, we did. easy find thanks.
Last stop on me wetlands walk
Glad I sprayed on the fly repellent before strolling, ay !! ]:P]
Lots of birds see 'em squawk !!
And a few cache finds along the way [^]
Nothing too tricky here as well,
this caching trail has been really fun [^]
Though rather dry and smelly as hell,
I reckon this cache trail is a real good 'un [^]

We have camped here by the bore baths, a great location. Free swim in the hot pool. Wild horses in the paddock beside us & a kangaroo that came to drink from the creek.
Bill took his bike & completed the trail.
We stopped where it was suitable with the caravan on to find caches.
It was good to find such a variety of caches & hides along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache coongoola

TFTC! Pity it's so dry at the moment, I can imagine this area is incredible when not in drought
TFTC. We are camped at the Bore for a few days. Before have a plunge this morning we decided to walk the Wetlands and cache. We started badly. We had to come back for 3 and 1 as the eluded us at first. We found all of them and our names are in the log.
We are touring Australia and caching as we go!
Spending a few days at the bore baths so thought we may as well do the wetlands walk while we are here. It's a little hot here this morning but we didn't let that stop us.
Found all the caches along the way. Thanks coongoola, your trail of caches is much appreciated!
Cheers from Canada!

A bumpy ride brought us to the last in this lovely series and we quickly spotted the likely hide. This had also brought us to the back of Pilliga's main street. Having only been in town once before - yesterday when we paid for camping - we continued on for a tour of the village and to find the last cache. TFTC and the enjoyable series coongoola.
Joint {*FTF*} Found with hodgee42
Grabbed all these ones at night before going to the bore. Good to see some caches in a small town like this. TFTC
