What an incredible weekend in Darwin! Geoturtle37 and I set out for an exciting adventure filled with geocaching, beautiful sights, and memorable experiences.DAY ONE: We kicked off our weekend with a warm welcome from the sun as we arrived in Darwin. The weather was perfect for exploring! After settling in, we picked up our hire car and set off to explore.A nice quick easy find at a nicely themed GZ.Thanks for showing us this special place by placing this cache, Canberratrekker ~~

Awesome little puzzle. Kids had fun finding this gz.

Worked out the puzzle ok and then once at gz the hint kicked on.

Lovely park area. Walked along from other end to GZ. Quick find and a quick puzzle to solve. TFTC and the puzzle.

On a small cache run around Darwin with TARDIS 0061 and phlphotos for the weekend. All caches found over the weekend were in good condition unless otherwise stated. Day 74 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Alice Springs, Uluru then to Darwin we have escaped the southern weather that has been wet and windy. It is also day 73 of a streak, so we would like to keep it rolling.

Heading into the city for an event today to complete the Aug challenges, and a few caches along the way. Solved puzzle last week. Phone navigation went crazy on the way here and had to reboot, eventually got to GZ and a quick find

Arrived into Humpty Doo staying in the CMCA camp for 3 days
Thought we would do a circuit in the Plamerston area, mostly Halloween caches.
What a great way to tour the country following the geocaching trail.
Puzzle was solved before leaving NSW. Luckily it was quite in the area at the time.

Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return through the centre to SA and home again. We made the find here. Thanks for the puzzle which was solved back in anticipation of our trip.

Today we are out and about caching in this area of Darwin. We solved this one before we came. Clever to include what is real into the puzzle. First find for the day. Paper was still a bit damp, but could still write on it. TFTC

This was a lovely puzzle that was solved back in Brisbane before we began our trip to Darwin.
We are staying not too far away, in a caravan park so this morning after breakfast decided to take a quick trip into Zuccoli to find this one.
With a good hint, we soon found the very well hidden container.
Our name is added to the log.

Nice straight forward puzzle.
OMG when I got to GZ, but hint got me straight there.

I solved this one last year and I don’t remember it being too hard. On my current visit, I decided to come out to the Palmerston area to find a few puzzle caches. At gz it was a quick find thanks to the hint. Tftc

Easy find ... eventually! Wasted a lot of time poking and proding around the posts at the wrong end of the park! Didn't realised there was two structures the same until I widened my search and saw the second one. Wasted a lot of time checking all the other places that vaguely fitted the description / hint in and around the park, oops. TFTC!

Great little puzzle to finish the day.
I had a fair idea of what I was chasing, however an assumption game began and 1st punch into the GeoChecker confirmed my suspicions.
That never happens first time.
Then it was a case of getting to GZ and adding my name to the log.
Easily done and now visiting 4 TB.

Had a look at this one again and realised I had missed some crucial information. Crunched some numbers and plotted GZ. Surprised to find Zuccoli has more than one rainbow! T4TC!!!

TFTC. Clue made it pretty easy to find and long as you know where the rainbow ends.

No sucess even using the hint. Must be somewhere over the rainbow

Cache check -what a soggy mess. Replaced the log and bison tube all good to go for dry season finders.

I think we mucked up but we found it!

Found easily on a quick stop by. The base has gone walkies but the log sheet and top are dry enough in a zip lock bag. Seems to work and is probably why I found it so quickly as bags are easier to spot than bison tubes.

Found back in june just remembered!

Found with Moneydork on a brief visit to Darwin from Adelaide to find previously solved puzzle caches and challenge caches.

Although the way to the solution was clear, this puzzle caused me some grief, due to having difficulty differentiating certain colours in the image.

Similarly we had some grief at GZ when we found that the bottom of the bison tube was not attached and the logsheet was also missing. After a bit of exploration and ingenuity we found and retrieved the logsheet, but we couldnt find the rest of the bison tube.

We signed the logsheet, placed it in a ziplock bag and rehid it. However, it really needs some urgent maintenance (ie a new container).

This one was a challenge to recover as the cache container was missing and the log had fallen away from the cache. Recovered the log and signed it and attached it to the lid. Cache needs maintenance as container is missing but log and lid are still there.

Today we explored Darwin and surrounds picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them.

After working through the puzzle we made an easy find at GZ. The bottom part of the bison tube was missing so we added a zip locked bag and a new log sheet to the remaining section, and adding to our favourites.

Very first find yay!!!!

Great little puzzle, which was not that difficult to solve. Those are the ones I enjoy While I popped into the shops hubby made a quick find. Hope it stays there a while longer than the last one. Great spot for a cache. TFTC

Cache appears to have been muggled. Replacement deployed, same coords but different elevation - hopefully this will last better. Apologies to anyone who has tried to find it while MIA.

Enjoyed getting this FTF with Doodle Bug and CAD after working out the puzzle quickly earlier in the week and then making a quick find once we could get there. Thanks for the challenge and hide Canberratrekker.
