Found with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy as we head to a weekend in Mansfield. I've driven past this too many times. Thanks for placing, LB2 upset a huntsman here, as it crawled over her hand
We are staying at Marysville for a few days and came up to Alexandra to find the Memory cache. Now heading back to Marysville, we stopped for this ne which was easily found by GMelb. We had a nice lunch in Alexandra earlier and visited the 2nd hand book shop. TFTC JojoBeenie and Maximus 1978 - GJMMelb
We are visiting the area from South Gippsland for a few days of caching and exploring. Found quickly and all in good order. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
Thanks for the Cache Jojobean &aximus1978, camped last night at Brookes Cutting and have gone for my morning Bicycle ride (cache run... Shhh!). Yesterday we were treated to the sounds of Greek music from a large Greek contingent camped next to us. It's quite a treat to absorb some cultural exchange, for the first half hour.......... Then loud and annoying kicks in. Anyhow they quieten down late afternoon and someone from the other side took over, annoying in anyone's language. The Cache is well hidden and in good condition.Regards from Victourer
We were travelling homeward after a holiday in Beechworth with family.
Quick find, thanks JoJo & Maximus.
Quick find, thanks JoJo & Maximus.
It seems strange to us city folk to have a bus stop on a highway and be waiting for a bus. ?? A quick park and grab here. Thanks!
Stopped for this cache while traveling through the area on holidays.

Driving out of Alexandra and decided to stop for this one, nice and quick find!
Well, we waited and waited, and we waited and nobody came, but we ended up finding it
I had been here before searching for this one, and to be honest, it makes me wonder how on earth I missed it before. When you do put your hands on it, and then look over to see it in place, it isn't as elusive as you think. I am certain that I am not the only one that has experienced cache blindness with this one . Thank you JJB & M for the placement of this cache.
Quickish park and grab with tassie expat while exploring this nice area. Blended in well. Thanks for placing it.
A quick grab between traffic. Grass is starting to get a bit long, but now school is back, it will be trampled down quickly. TFTC
I felt like exploring Alexandra and doing a bit of relaxed caching today And as Star the Geo-car has been cleaned prior to servicing, and wanted to admire the shiny paintwork for at least a few days That means staying out of the forest Shady little town and may come back here sometime.
Not sure why some COs don’t provide hints, especially in high traffic or muggley locations Looked at previous logs and a word caught my attention. Logged and on my way.

I parked just over the road, which was convenient. However it took me much longer than it should have to find the cache. Once again - the last place I looked!
On my way home from a very long weekend and stopped for this cache. Initially looking for something much smaller I found this one with its natural camo.
Thanks JoJoBeenie for the cache.

Another day in beautiful country Victoria exploring with friends. today we focussed on the Alexandra and Eildon area with lots of geocaching stops.
This cache had all four of us searching and a few strange looks from passing cars. So we were very pleased to finally locate it and log it TFTC

#4366 Spied this one quite quickly as we make our way into Alexandra. No waiting required on this quiet public holiday day with passing muggles few and far between. TFTC JoJoBeenie & Maximus1978.
Great to get a few days off before Christmas to just escape and chill. The email inbox will be over flowing no doubt….. oh well. Went out on a little adventure with Trailstevo to collect a number of cache that have eluded me and I never have time to stop when passing though. Left home at 6am and made our way to Yea for an early morning coffee, YEA!! Did some homework at the local fossil Earthcache and proceeded to make our way along the rail trail stopping for a number of short walks collecting smiley faces as we go. At one point I found myself accidently driving down the trail, but wasn’t brave enough to turn that into a major event for the day. We continued on to Yarck, and the down to Alexandra for an Egg and Bacon roll and the second coffee of the day. 10am now. WE had been collecting clues for a local multicache which has now made us do a detour and collected 5 unplanned cache on that route….oops. Then back to the plana and we made our way to the Maintongoon Bushland reserve for a bit of puffing and blowing up the hill. So many grass seeds! Friggen things! Will have to mow my boots tomorrow! Then one last stop at the look out across the lack and back home for 2pm. Was a great little adventure. Thanks to all the CO’s for the fun. Some great cache in this area, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Clever hide... had to look innocent while local collected his mail! With Monks 55 at a distance of 1.5m. TFTC
TFTC jojobeenie & maximus1978. Thanks for for maintenance and bringing us here. TNLN
A fairly quick find after moving some rubbish and then came the exploding log as it was removed from the micro cache. Lucky was sitting in the geo navara and was able to place the log back once it was signed. A new will be required here as a result. TFTC from the inspectorrexteam

I hate bus stop caches but I found this one surprisingly quickly with the help of The Evil Muggle. He found it from his end but I had to retrieve it on hands and knees, of course. I must bring a kneeling mat for this type of situation. Cache was in good dry position.

Today I was heading for the hills to attend the Bluff Discovery event tomorrow so I the way I found a few caches along the way, this was one of them.
There are still a number of cache in this area that I didn’t find while attending the Mega so each time I head this way I try and find a few more.
As I was heading out of town, I made a stop here, looked around, found the cache, signed the log and continued on my way.

After lunch we decided on a different region than we had not been before. We came accross a series with well know songs , the containers were perfect for the songs.
Todays weather was much cooler just perfect for caching.

Kato Potato and I were dashing around Alexandra grabbing as many caches as we could after the Show and Shine. I happen to dislike caches on these structures, mostly because I'm a shorty and these caches usually require climbing or several jumps. We got there as Kato made the find. Found by Mary & David at 0955. Cleaning up a few last caches around Alexandra. Have just been to the butcher for a load of Bushmans sausages and a few steaks. We will return. Our thanks to JoJoBeenie.
After attending the MEGA event on the weekend, Snickersallan, RoddyC and I continued on our drive around the area today to find some caches we missed over the weekend.
This one was found easily, SL then returned cache to its hide. No-one to hinder our search today.

It was a last minute decision to attend the Alexandra Event so after work on Friday Rapidlywild and I made our way to Alexandra entertained by the lightening along the way.
We had a fun filled weekend collecting many smileys and having some laughs and meeting up with fellow cachers another Mega ticked off.
Time to make the journey home and pick up some smileys along the way.
No problems at this one signed, replaced and on our way to the next.

I was on my way out. What a great time we all had! We will be back.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]
Thanks to JoJoBeenie and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

A fairly late decision resulted in myself and 1 party of the FurfacesLL clan headding south towards Alexandra Event. After working during the day Friday, the drive down Friday night felt never ending. We had a great 3 days stomping around Alexandra and surrounds putting our scribble in many caches.
Day to head on home, collecting a few smilies of course
No issues at this one, signed and replaced.

Time to head home after attending the Alexandra Mega 2017 but caching on the way out of town was much more important. As one of my geo-kids told me.....it took us over 2hrs to go 15kms! Ended up with 105 for the weekend which got me to double my cache finds from last year....so happy with that result.
Logs signed as either minniek or part of Team Goulburn. Quick find here today.

This is our fourth trip to the northern island this year. The first three were primarily for family events but with some opportunities to do some caching along the way. The fourth trip is different as caching is our focus. After getting off The Spirit of Tasmania we are heading north to cache at Wangaratta and then Yass before heading into the ACT and Queanbeyan for a week. After that we will travel to Jindabyne for a few days with summiting Mount Kosciuszko being our main target for this part of our trip. Then we will visit Cooma and Tumut before heading back down the track through Wangaratta and Mansfield as we make our way to Alexandra for the MEGA. After the weekend we will continue to make our way south and back onto the Spirit of Tasmania for the “drive” across Bass Strait. We are really looking forward to three weeks of intense caching in great areas and, hopefully, catching up with some geocachers in each of the areas we will visit.
Today was the second day of the Alexandra Event or MEGA. Again we joined others at the Showgrounds early in the morning to catch up on what happened yesterday and what was in the offering for today. We then headed out to cache in the area again. As we had completed the Trout geoart series yesterday, our focus for today was completion of the gadget caches and any other caches that we would come across during the day. In the late afternoon we returned to the Showgrounds for the final presentations – an excellent way to end a great MEGA event.
Accurate coordinates and an obvious hide location led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks JoJoBeenie & Maximus1978 for the cache.
***** We are currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. On 1 September 2017 our average was 86 which seems close to the 100 target. However given that we have found so many GC caches, we have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get our average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that we can strive to attain this challenge. After 598 caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 99.7. We are nearly there and should make it before this current trip comes to an end in a couple of days time. Progress has been better than anticipated.*****
