A plan was devised by Phetlern and Suscoe to do a caching trip around Swan Hill.
Geoturtle37, Papi4506 and ourselves were invited to go along.
Day 4. A lap from Swan Hill to the country side and back again.
Unless otherwise stated - all good here.
All caches signed as the 'B Team', 'DGP' or 'The Drovers'. Replaced as found.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Hercs&pinky, and for Phetlern & Suscoe for the invite.

Suscoe, Phetlern, Papi4506, The Drovers and I had a great day exploring the area and using caching to guide us. We were on our way back and the sun was low so we decided to see how we went with this one. I think we managed to find this as there were so many of us searching. The final was a great surprise and worthy of a favourite point. Thank you for creating this cache for us to enjoy.
Geoturtle37 and I are having a great time caching with The Drovers, Suscoe and Phetlern in and around the Swan Hill area.
We had had a great day seeing so many different landscapes and finding many caches. It was heading towards dark but not quite there yet but we decided to have a go at this one anyway.
With so many of us looking, we were able to find what we needed including the cache which was a great surprise. A favourite for us. Thank you for placing the cache for us to find.

Suscoe was out and about enjoying another beautiful day in the Swan Hill Region.
We decided to head south today to enjoy the lakes towards Kernag and then a little bit further before heading back to Swan Hill. We had terrific company as we travelled along today.
We saw lots and lots of waterbirds, great farming country and interesting rivers and lakes.
We also found some really interesting cache hides in great locations.
We signed the log as "B Team".
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this cache.
This was our last cache of our trip to Swan Hill. Late afternoon and we decided to see how we would go spotting the pathway. We enjoy the extra challenge of doing caches like these this way. Well we succeeded with careful looking and eventually we arrived at the GZ.
Well done for a nice Night Cache, a favourite from us.

Out and about on Anzac Day, in the great company of Geoturtle37, The Drovers, Papi4506 & Suscoe, we made a loop trip S. H. to Kerang and return.
Our last cache for the day and the last for this visit to Swan Hill.
Being late in the afternoon, we thought we'd try our luck at finding this cache in the afternoon light. After a search we found the starting reflectors, and following more searching ,we were eventually able to find additional reflectors and follow the trail - many eyes make light work!
Getting to the end of the trail, we found only two reflectors as the third (mentioned on the cache page) seems to have disappeared.
Having found and entered the information, we headed for the GZ and then proceeded to follow the instructions, geting quite a surprise at the end of the process.
A FP left for an excellent cache.
(With 5 teams in the group we signed "B team" to leave room in the logs for future seekers.)
Thanks to the Owner for adding this cache to the gameboard.

I had been really excited about doing this one. We’ve had a big day of caching in and around Swan Hill, came to do this one and was so happy with it. It’s our first night cache and so very please we did it. TFTNC
After settling into our motel and eating some KFC for dinner, we headed back out to do some more caching. Nightcaches are always something we enjoy to do so we made our way back down south to try our luck here. Luckily the gale force winds had stopped, making for a pleasant walk in the bush.
The reflectors were close enough for us to follow without any dramas. (We hate it when you walk for ages without seeing any, always wondering if you have missed one.) Not the case here however as we pretty soon had our 3 reflectors side by side. GZ coordinates located easily and we were off to another well constructed gadget cache. We managed the correct steps to access the logbook and then made sure it was reset for the next cachers.
Thanks Hercs&pinky for the enjoyable nightcache, we unfortunately didn't come across any owls or any other wildlife tonight.
A favourite point added.

Staying at Swan Hill for a few days. This cache was found on our wanderings.
I had the final coordinates, obtained via unconventional means, so I won't claim a Find, and will leave a Note
A great cache, and loved the construction at the final.
Everything worked as it should, and I eceived a bit of a surprise.
Can't say too much with giving it away.

First night time cache. The light are very small but really cool. Definitely got a scare
Found with becca85 as well as my Dad and cousin. A super fun adventure and awesome cache. Thank you! (sorry for late log)
In Swan Hill for a family wedding, we decided to make an extra long weekend of it.
After a relaxing day, I ditched the youngest kid and the heavily pregnant sister (left them at the motel with TV & chocolate) and headed out bush with neisha07 as well as muggle husband and my muggle niece who loves caching.
A fantastic straight forward multi, we followed the reflectors through the bush before coming across the co-ords we needed. Another shortish stroll and we soon spotted the cache - hard to miss!
Squeals of horror & delight greeted us initially by the 2 girls once we figured out what we needed to do. Log signed and replaced and then the real hard work began & we spent a good half an hour attempting to replace the cache correctly.
A really enjoyable night time adventure. Fave point awarded for sure. So much effort in the construction here. TFTC!

Followed the reflectors all the way around to WP2 but unfortunately could not move on from there. Was recently a decent storm so wondering if the cache got swept up. Still fun.
What an adventure, and a night of first for us
Our first multi and our first night cache!
Was very lucky and grateful to have a very, very helpful CO as youngest child was a bit overtired and so I was a bit distracted
Had so much fun adventuring around looking for this, and then a real team effort for getting in to the cache itself. Lots of laughs were had then
Thank you so much, definitely a FP from us, due to all the well thought out elements, and the overall adventure
For families like us, I think it is worth each child having their own torch for this one for maximum enjoyment and even distribution of "finds".
Thank you Hercs and Pinky

Our first night cache...After dark and quite cool we found the park bench and started our trek, guided by glittering reflections from our headlamps. We found the co-ordinates (guarded by a colourful beast) that led to the cache. Quite the contraption!! Following the instructions from the cache description, we started playing, and out came a suprise that both hit & startled geo hubby!! There weren't any owls here though, so we didn't get to see any...or did we?!? A favorite from us, TFTC.
6754 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1850. After the arrival of night time off we headed to the parking area. Once orientated there were the indicators. You have got to be kidding about walking around the scrub after dark with everything wet. Onward we pressed into the dark. Worked out the final information and followed the green light in the GPS'r. Just what you need in the dark "Eyes of an Owl" to work through the last challenge. Well we SL Tnx Hercs&pinky Not so sure about a favourite point here. But we will give one anyway.
Wow just wow. First ever night cache and it's by far the best any type cache. Absolutely loved it. Something to help lighten up the moods of everyone. My dad is going threw something tough ATM. Just what we needed was this cache. Thanks herks&pinkys
HHooo. This one was spooky possoms. Out early in the morn while it was still very dark. Took a torch, and we needed it too. Got to the parking spot and followed all the little twinkling starlights yep reached the first WP. OK. now off to find the little cache, Oooo its quite dark out here, AArrr, there it is the little cache. Holy S. how do we get into it. Push this pull that, Holy S. that was quite scarey, and in the dark. TFTC. SL. Left a calling card and a few swaps. Giving this a fav. Great idea and H & P you have put a lot of work into this one. What a pisser, or something else.
Another great Hercs&Pinky find. I think they left the "pack clean underwear" detail out though. Signed logbook and left swap. Thanks for yet another fun cache!
Woo! FTF for us. This was another absolutely fantastic cache Hercs&Pinky!!! This was our second night cache ever, very enjoyable indeed! Great accessibility, even the wheelchair made it here. Kids loved following the reflectors and got a big shock when we worked out how to unlock the cache. Lol. SL and replaced and reset locks. Your caches are amazing hercs&pinky, THANK YOU!! Giving it another fav!
