I am not great at solving puzzles so I was very chuffed when I cracked this one. I was determined to find the cache before leaving Mt Gambier, which I did. Great stuff.
After getting some help with the faded start point, some co-ords were soon had...Headed over to GZ and found the nicely hidden cache, Nice work!TNLNSLThanks
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country town caching. Thanks for the hideLNCU
TFTC brisal5 for your cache Mount Gambier Branch No 2 which we found today. We have been camped at Penola for the past week enjoying the area and the caching. Today we decided to head to Mount Gambier. The aim was to complete the Adventure Labs and to complete some more of the multis and solved puzzles. We would also attempt any other caches close by. We succeeded in finishing all the Adventure Labs as well as 13 other caches. A great day.

The weather hasn't improved very much so we haven't done much traditional caching but have done a number of ALs.
This is a wonderful town that we have visited before, but we are still amazed at what the town has to offer.
Understood what was needed to solve & hubby located the cache while I did the nearby AL
Thanks for placing your cache.

Heading back from WA and down to Portland to visit dad, I stopped in Mount Gambier to do the new lab that's coming up since our last visit and also hopefully grab a couple caches on the way through.
Once at wp2 I was a little confused for a while and couldn't make heads or tails of what I was supposed to do. Old eyes didn't help with the reading either.
After decoding the hint I was on my way to finding GZ. Once the numbers were sorted I spotted the cache from a distance as someone had left it in the open making it just a little bit visible. Everything inside the container was still nice and dry so I've added our name to the log and this time returned it as it was supposed to be.
Many thanks GOTHS for the puzzle and a nice hide a favorite point from me

The plaque is unreadable in most parts, unable to decipher enough to solve on the fly.
Found as I headed back home to Adelaide after a few days caching and camping in the Portland area.
The required information was easily collected and final coordinates calculated before making a quick find at GZ a short distance away.
Thanks brisal5 for the cache.

Found with Team Waldron during a trip to the south-east for a few days. On Day 1 we travelled via Meningie, the Coorong and Kingston SE to Millicent and Tantanoola. On Day 2, we toured around Glencoe and completed the STCL series, Colour by Song series, and the AooA series (and found any other caches along the way). On Day 3 we cached around Tarpeena then to Mt Gambier to do the Adventure Lab caches and down to Port MacDonnell. On the final day we completed the Honan Mint Trail and found the southern half of the Awaken and Live series before time got the better of us and we headed for home. Thanks for the cache GOTHS and brisal!
On a little weekend escape with Purrfect Di and Jack after a long week at work.
Why not go caching to wind down and mostly stay away from people [:o)]
Did numbers last time in the mount, found cache now! Another neat way to deal with one of those rusty things
Thanks heaps to brisal5 for hiding and looking after this cache on our SA geo game map

Hunting around each and every day finding and signing using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
---
Please do stay as safe as possible when caching.
Keep a lookout for bogs, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Much appreciation of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thank you for reading all this addition to the log word count!
Into the second month of Twenty Twenty Too Enjoy!!!

SL at 11:45am. Third cache of the day. Stuffed up my calculations on this one initially but still managed to find the cache, haha bonus! The honour roll has become very hard to read unfortunately. TFTC!

A little difficult with so many muggles around, but we managed to be discreet.
We love the hide.
Two attempts at solving the puzzle, but once we put our geocaching hats on we got there.

Found on a caching weekend in the South East with CPwanderer and clare007.
Easily spotted once at GZ as the cache was upside down. Returned it the right way up so that the camo could do its job.

Solved puzzle with [@trodectus](http://coord.info/PR8JTE0) at the start of the day and was first on the list as we headed out. Parked nearby and walked to GZ, quickly had CIH. TFTC
Solved and found with [@coybear2000](http://coord.info/PR9547H). We were on our visit to see the blue lake and as we were passing this one we decided to go for it. We worked out the co-ords and walked to GZ and soon had CIH. Log signed and all replaced and we continued on our tour. TFTC.
Nice day of 21deg to cache around the town. Got the info on the way past this am and did calcs over lunch. A quick stop off on our way back up the hill tonight. Nice camo, fave. TFTC!
Thank you for a great multi that was easy to work out. Once GZ was worked out the cache was spotted as it had been place upside down and the camo was unable to do its job. We returned it the right way up and it is no longer openly visible. SL TFTC
A simple little field puzzle soon had us with a set of coordinates, a quick for us today cache was in good condition

On the way to Millicent with Tag-along and stopped to check this one out. A nice ANA memorial here with a different way of honouring their members.
The puzzle was sorted slowly and the it was off to find the well hidden cache.
Thanks Brisal5

One of 6 multis today on my way to millicent.
This one requires lots of care...don't rush!
Nice hide that fitted the clue nicely.
Thanks for highlighting ANA work.

Found with DSATA2017 - a bit rusty with the coordinates but we found it with persistence and common sense! ️
Quick find here cache is all good
Today I started out at cockatoo lake after camping there for the evening before making my way to Mt gambier today cleaning up as many caches as I could along the way. A solid day with the weather in mint condition which is unusual for the south east. 85 finds for the day and 5 labs.
Thanks for the cache

Day 352 ( Saturday 15th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Mt Gambier today. A total of 4 for the day and 6490 the trip.
A weekend with CPwanderer caching around the Mt Gambier/Millicent area.
Found after finding the correct tree & almost tripping over the lighting cord attached to the tree.
Thanks for the cache GOTHS

Couldn't quite read the puzzle properly (partially because I forgot my glasses!) So gave up and started hunting around the trees instead, finally found it! TFTC
Decided to head out about town to make a few finds before the rain sets in. Very chilly today think the wind was coming straight from Antarctica.
The waypoint is incredibly difficult to read now. But we did some guesswork and came up with some likely numbers.

Worked this out awhile ago with alittle help from a friend as the information needed is difficult to read due to weathering over time. Very interesting TFTC and history lesson.
We have driven past this spot many times, being on the busy side of the lake area we haven't stopped here but we thought this would be a good day to do this multi. Most people were probably still getting over New Years celebrations.
Gee we didn't realise there was so many names that would be on this list, well done, thanks for your service. We didn't count all the names as we had had enough counting by the time we had done the needed calculations, haha.
The streets were quiet this morning, the suns were soon done, and off we travelled to GZ.
Good spot to hide a cache, unfortunately skeletal remains of what we think was a cat were also hiding in this area, poor puss.
Thanks The Goths and brisal5 for the cache. Found it, signed it and replaced it safe and sound as found.
Happy New Year all.

Had a lot of trouble discovering the method used to solve this one but eventually through trial and error I hit on the correct method. Quick find on a very windy day and one more towards the Mystery in the Museum quest.
out with mogni after maintenance run on the whole rail trail. Found dodging rain showers on a cold wet day. Quick solve and find. It also helped with the current " Mystery at the museum " souvenir challenge.
Worked out the co ords with McLookers and soon had our names on the list. Thanks for the cache.
Crunching the numbers on site proved a little tricky as there is a contentious letter. The online view of the monument confirmed the same as we had calculated. We used a bit of commonsense and soon had some plausible co-ordinates. At GZ we were worried when we saw a mass of fairy lights but we were not to worry, the well camoed cache was sitting there safe and sound. Thanks GOTHS for highlighting this monument.
Decided it was a good time to go grab this cache with TT016 as muggle free...
A prickly conclusion...

Took photos back in January to work out the coords at home.... then forgot about it *rolls eyes*. TFTC
Suscoe's last day in Mount Gambier and we had a lovely time picking up a few more caches.
The day started out with solid drizzle before we got up. The remainder of the day was cloudy, a little sunny and mild, the perfect temperature for us to caching in.
We enjoyed some town caches, some farmland caches and some coastal caches.
Thanks to the GOTHS for this multi.
We also ran into some confusion with this one and with our first set of coordinates being totally inaccessible.
We then reread the logs and saw that others had run into trouble.
We suspected that there was a confusion in the puzzle and there was and indeed we worked it out.
So we visited our GZ later in the day and there was the cache.
We were pretty happy with our efforts as we noted that many others needed to PAF.
Nice to achieve this by ourselves.

Hi there GOTHS.
We've decided to stay in Mount Gambier for a little longer, so today we targeted some puzzles and multi's, and of course if we passed a traditional we had to do that too.
We enjoyed our outing and found 4 caches (& DNF'd 1) in our cache run today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander our way around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Owl was in the area for the centenary of the Rook Walk and took the opportunity to find a few caches. She double-checked the information, but one number seemed highly unlikely. Going with her gut, she decided that one number was masquerading as another and went on a search. Her hunch was confirmed by a PaF, but even then she had to be at the right angle to see the cache.
Had a day of Mount Gambier sinkhole scuba diving and driving back home to Adelaide via Millicent and TeamAstro's Jupiter geocache.
I visited the listed coordinates a month ago and took a few photographs so I could do the working out in my own time at home. The memorial description is getting quite difficult to read and fading away, so it may actually be better working it out by feeling the engraving anyway. Nevertheless, I had coordinates to allow me to find this cache during my next visit.
Today I went past GZ, and was a little worried that it may no be there as the tree was decorated with lights. However with the good camo, I found something that looked a little staged, but oblivious to muggles. Cache all good, thanks.

Today caching with cabbos and earthlight which started with a plan to tackle the multis in the area.
There were twists and turns throughout the day, we didn't have plans to cache outside the Mount and yet ended up caching around Port MacDonnell before the days end
The honour roll is not as clear as it probably once was, we admit to having to PAF for help & advice. Found the cache a little out of place and visible but soon put it back the correct way to take full advantage of its camouflage.

Caching with 3LG, and Cabbos today. We were totally confused and ended up PAF for help. Advice on how to continue was given. Eventually linda located the cache which was in the open. TFTC
Thanks Goths for the cache.. I’m not much good with puzzles but I was with 2 caching buddies and phoned a friend ... so between all of us got the smiley..Names on the stone plaque are getting hard to read which is a shame..TFTC

Needing some fuel to get to Pluto for the planetary pursuit, I cancelled my planned trip to the Grampians due to the unfavourable weather and headed across the border to My Gambier for a few drive-bys so I could retreat to the car quickly when it started really pouring down.
I grabbed the info on a previous visit to the mount and worked out GZ at home, needing some points, and trying to get my multi count up I went in for the find today. Despite the heavy rain today the log was dry
Thanks GOTHS

Found on a tour of the town with Mogni! Great weather and a fantastic part of the planet. Nice to have the cache CO of so many of the Mount caches with me on this occasion.
Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake!
Thanks to GOTHS and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Found while replacing hide on behalf of GOTHS. Heard that 3 quality finders had a dnf here, so brisal5 and I had to ensure that the cache was there, oh dear, it was not. We had a replacement and left it here. TFTC GOTHS.
We had a dnf here but the cache has been subsequently replaced and our names are in the log.
Along with Freddo and Team Waldron I spent a fun weekend in the South East area finding many interesting and some challenging caches.
This was one of our finds along the way, and a very rewarding one in the end!
We came here and gathered all the required info, did the math and searched for quite a while unsuccessfully. So returned to the start, checked all the numbers then researched and extended our search area considerably with still no success. Gave up and went and found some other local caches before finally contacting the cache owner to confirm that we had been searching the correct location.
The next day we returned again for a final search before leaving the Mountagain without success
It was a couple of days later that we were contacted and told we could claim a find because upon checking the cache it was dicovered that it had indeed been missing! Well at least we can say we got plenty of experience searching this pretty area [^}
Cheers & TFTC GOTHS

ROAD TRIP! - Day two After driving to Mount Gambier yesterday via the scenic Coorong route collecting caches that I haven't found, it was time for a forage across the border with mogni. [^] Our target was to make our way to Warrnambool and try and get the remainder of the puzzles and multi's we were yet to do, leaving just traditionals to collect another day. If not for two DNF's we would have succeeded too. [:o)]
Mindful of collecting caches in two States for a challenge cache we stopped and I quickly located the cache and signed the log book. It certainly helps when you were one of the GOTHS beta testers and made the field puzzle! [B)]
But now there has been a few logs it was time to return and find the cache too.
Thanks GOTHS for the cache.
