Alas, this one proved too tricky for me. I believe I check everything, but there didn't seem to be a cache there at all
I stopped here because there was a trig station on the hill and it is not one the GCA maps, so I had to stop for photos... and a bonus cache in the bargain. TFTC
Found by Mary and David at 13:05. A FP for all your research and effort. Quite a strong wind today, but all the turbines were still. Our thanks to Cherad.
Out for a day trip with JTreeTrack2 and this was our next stop. Good quick find here and with the log signed we were on our way again. Amazing how big the windmills are. Thanks again Cherad...
A lovely cloudy day to head out for some caching. I had arranged with Sol de lune before we were going to the Canberra Mega, that this week would be a good week to head out together and get some caches. So we headed out in the Geo Tucson, with some Easter eggs as snacks to try and get some caches between Ballarat and Geelong. A quick stop with nice off road parking. Great to be able to read the information board. Thanks for placing this cache Cherad
I was driving home the back way from Inverleigh. New road for me, quiet..
The windfarm gradually appeared in the distance and as this was the first cache I encountered.
All good.
Thanks Cherad..

A quick find today having an explore around the wider area near home. My partner worked on these turbines so was more than happy to drive me out and give me some bonus info TFTC
Been a minute since my last find, out in the road and had to stretch found a spot and decided to have a look and one was right next to us found with Alexikatty tftc
Today was meant to have been a full on family lunch, but then one guest of honour tested positive ... so, it's caching time! The broad location was obvious. Finding the actual cache, less so. Honours to John this time. TFTC
*The "Date Day Plus One" Adventure #0.5 (8/12/22)*
I'm out with SueHut and one of the Geokids for a meander up to Ballarat.
I've directed the team to this cache on the very circuitous way to Ballarat, to hear SueHut exclaim "We've done this one already!"
"Really? Why isn't it marked off?"
I checked the logs, and sure enough - SueHut had logged it, but I had not. Only 3 months late.
Thanks heaps for the cache, Cherad!

Nice easy find. Started in Steiglitz looking at orchids then went for a country drive
Beautiful day, quick find & sign. All good at GZ, just no wind for those turbines! Replaced as found. Thanks for the hide!
After attending the Franklins Bridge Reserve CITO, I headed further south to grab a few more caches before returning home. Sometimes these types of hides can be difficult to find. Fortunately, that was not the case today.
My thanks to Cherad for the cache.
My thanks to Cherad for the cache.
We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
Found with Roostaman on our Feb/March Vic trip down South.

Some good friends had decided to head to Ballarat for a few weeks so I decided I needed a break and joined them, we had a great time out caching as well as sharing stories and laughs around a meal or two. I really love the area of Ballarat there is so much history and I am sure it has the largest population of Oak trees in the Country.
This is one of the caches found today.
Some caches logged as RASP rebel acts &Ski pair.

It was great to be back in the area caching and catching up with my buddy Rebel Acts.
I had planned on being here for a few days but unfortunately, work got in the way again, so made the most of a sunny Sunday.
So many new caches online around Ballarat and Creswick since the last time I was up this way, and it's awesome to see some lab caches here as well.
This is one of the caches that I found on the day, cheers for the cache and the opportunity for a smile on the map.

With work encouraging us to take some holidays and Mr SKI having quite a few weeks up his sleeve it was time to take another short break and do some sightseeing and caching in parts of Victoria we seldom visit.
This time we decided it would be Ballarat. There is a wide variety of cache types and quite a number of Adventure Labs to do, so the area is quite attractive. And that doesn't include the historical and interest aspects as well.
We organized to meet up with some friends while there so we would have the opportunity to do some joint as well as solo caching.
We have already had some great adventures on a few challenging caches that generated a lot of fun and as usual always good to find some pre-solved puzzles.
All logs signed as SKI Pair, RASP (Rebel Acts & SKI Pair or SP depending on size of logs and availability of space.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Cherad.

Out on our first trip in regional Victoria - checking out some old camping grounds. TFTC
A detour from a care trip to Colac brought me back past here today after a previous DNF. I was pleased that someone else looked much harder than me and I found the cache neatly tucked in. Thanks Cherad, the wind turbines were going like the clappers today.
Almost gave up on this one. By chance we spotted the cache on the ground about 2m behind where we expect it was hidden. Log was very wet . Dryed it out best we could and replaced it hopefully where it originally came from. May have blown off as magnet was missing.
Failed miserably on two of yours to the North of this one. Happier when we pulled up to see that there few spots to hide a cache fairly. Tried the first structure and careful observation soon brought success. Ah, the relief. Thanks for putting caches out and about, nice way to break up a bit of a drive.
Second cache for the day on our trip to Ballarat and Daylesford. I can remember when this wind farm was proposed there were quite a few locals that were protesting loudly that they didn't want this wind farm to get off the ground, fortunately, science and common sense won through and they were constructed. I would far sooner see windfarms turning majestically in the wind than the hideous scars that coal mining leaves on the landscape. The cache was relatively easy to find as there were not a huge number of options. In saying that I think the hide was very clever. The log was nice and dry so we signed it and headed off to lunch with my parents near lake Wendouree. TFTC #114
Found while making my way home from Geelong. didn’t take too long to spot. it was interesting reading the sign thanks for bringing me here
Down this way today with Sean.75 and kenare to find a few caches and take the dogs for a run. A nice quick find that kenare spotted as we pulled up. tftc
What a nice day to be out and about and to take the dogs for a drive. Easy find here with lots of info. Cigc. Tftc
Sean.75, kenbryl and I decided to the dogs for a run and a bit of site seeing while we were out. This was our first stop for the day. Tftc
An easy find here today and lots of information to read.
Chead, I have done and enjpyed a number of your caches today. Many thanks for putting them out.

Another winter sunny day - parked here to have our lunch and to locate this cache, which we did. It was so eerily quiet , no wind to turn the turbines. Thanks Cherad for placing.

A drive through this area after caching in Cressy this morning, and now on our way to the Leigh Grand Junction bridge for an EC, making my fifth type of cache found today.
Another easy find, fortunately the biker that showed up as i was returning the cache wasn't too interested in what i was up to so all good here today. Thx again Cherad for your caches in this area.

A very late start this afternoon put me into this area close to 1900 but, it was still light enough to find this clever little container. A very sneaky hide. I was quite dubious about whether the photo from a previous cacher (big spider - cache guardian) might put me off a little. Thankfully the cache guardian was out for the evening and I was able to locate the log and duly sign.

We passed the wind turbines on our here. The information sign sign takes lots of concentration to understand this huge project and it’s quite interesting. The cache was found after a short hunt when the finding device led me to within two metres of its hiding place. The contents were in good condition which is not surprising because it is hidden in a good dry location.
Still heading home and more caches keep popping up. Can’t drive past them. Wow these wind turbines are massive and popping up everywhere. Quick find Tftc
Headed out on a beautiful October Day to find this geocache.
It was nice to see this part of the country while finding the geocache.

We started in colac this morning for the geo kids netball. We have travelled all the countryside. We did drive past this one previously as a trucker was having a break. Thought id sneak back past home and we had some luck as the trucker had left. A quick find. Tftc
A very quick find.
Great parking spot and view of the wind turbines.
They are all standing still, probably as there is no wind today... it’s still as!!!

Found with teamashy. No critters around today, too cold and windy. A quick find. Signed log and returned as found. TFTC
So here i was feeling around for a micro and felt something soft and then next thing a dirty BIG spider ran at me, I am so glad we were in the middle of no where as i let out the loudest scream.....This is why you should wear gloves!
I stopped again here for a different view of the windymills
They're spinning away merrily today in the stiff northerlies
A thankfully quick cache find here in the intense heat

Found at 3.00pm. Out for a drive to view the wind farm. Lucky enough to see workers hanging by ropes half way down the towers. They looked minute. Thanks K&M
Found this nice cache on the way home from visiting a friend, quick easy find.
Found with FUF009.
A 3 day weekend for both of us meant testing the new swags and caching in areas we both had loads of choice from.
Meeting at Panmure and sussing out where to camp was the 1st priority (Lake Ellingamite), then merged into 1 car and hit the trails.
We changed camping location to near Colac for the 2nd night, less bugs more wind.
We had a wonderful weekend with many interesting finds and locations. Thanks to all the cache owners.

Found with sharkiefan on a camping and caching long weekend in the South west area of Victoria.
We visited from Mortlake to Port Fairy to Colac to Timboon and everything in between, and finishing up in Ballarat on Monday evening for the Giff event.
Seeing we still had a few hours till the event we decided to head through the Forest for a few grabs.

The nearby wind turbines must have good brakes or the blades would have spun off in the wind that is blowing here today. Thanks for the quick find, the cache and bringing us here.
Found on our way to collect our new dog from GAP. Fergzter is a team of 5 again! Happy day despite the pouring rain! Oh and 3000th find yada yada yada!

With only a few days to go to get to 100 for the current series. Wozzle68, MazzyMay and me went on the hunt. We did manage to find enough to get the number required. TFTC.
Quick stop on the way through to finish off the 100 for the month Creatures Challenge. Easy to find. TFTC Cherad
Picked up with MazzyMay and Dippa46 on an afternoon cache run to pick up a few more caches towards the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. Thanks for the lovely views
The cache was clearly visible as we approached gz so after we signed the log we placed a little bit more out of sight.

Love these turbos .... a car parked nearby and a little drizzle didn't deter us! Quick find (thankfully) .... nice hide though. TFTC
A car was parked near this cache today, so just as well it was a quick find. Also just started to rain! Interesting information. TFTC
Alas a dnf today. Not sure what we missed but will give it another go in the future.
I had been watching the windvanes turning making electricity for us without pollution like the coal fired system. A much more beautiful and healthy system. Had to be stealthy here as there was a manned vehicle parked nearby, presumably waiting for the school bus. Mission accomplished TFTC
After a false start, and avoiding a local cyclist muffle for the 2nd time, we found it! Good hide. TFTC
A good find, nice and easy, the turbines a a wonderful sight, I would much rather have them in my back yard then the coal powered stations!
Found It.......It was decided to set out on a Geo Journey while we where having lunch after doing the shopping as it was the first weekend off through harvest for Mr H_3 so after deciding on a direction we set off. After arriving at G.Z. the search started and soon after the cache was in our hands and with the log signed we continued our journey. Thanks Cherad for the cache
Took a bit to retrieve the cache as it had been jammed into it's hidey hole. Thanks for the cache Cherad
