Easy find, in the dark on the way back from caching in Berri. Spot on clue, small cache, no room for swaps. I had nothing to sacrifice, except the kids Could definitely smell the bottle-o on approach to this one. Reminded me of the 5L cask days of the sweet wine 18yo me used to drink with friends and thought we were cool, mixed with the smell of carpet in a front bar. Sure is an Aussie icon this one.TFTC

This long weekend, I and J plus the little one visited riverland. We spent two and a half days, visited Nuriootpa, Barmera, Berri, Loxton, Renmark, SA/VIC border, Waikerie, Morgan, and nearby towns. On the trip, we found 55 caches on the way, including Traditional Cache, Puzzle Cache, Multi Cache, Wherigo Cache, Letterbox Hybrid Cache, and Lab Adventure caches.
This was the 14th find for the trip. A quick stop to find this cache.
Cache is easy to find. Nice hide. Signed the log, and put it back.
Thanks for the cache, crane2.

Berri Wine! What a huge factory. Even a conveyor across the road. Sneaky cache. Tyftc.
Time to head for home but not without some serious geocaching on the way, with Jolly0.
Look no further than the hint. TFTC crane2

Peas had this in her hand before I could even get out of my car!
After an adventurous weekend with Peas&CarrotsForever, travelling to two other states in a day for a couple of special events, it’s time to head home.

Border hopping weekend day #2:
Happy International Geocaching Day!
Collecting some caches across South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria inbetween the 20 years of Geocaching celebration events in Berri, Wentworth and Irymple consecutively.
I started caching in 2020... so if these events had been then I wouldn't have gone. So I'm glad to be here for the journey.
I can only stay the weekend due to work, one night in Berri and one in Mildura. So I'm doing as many caches as I can inbetween events... so many caches and so little time.
Funny... my dad used to work here. It wasn't until I checked for more caches that I noticed this one was here.
A quick find was made and a favourite point allocated.
Cache retrieved and signed.
99 total finds for the trip. 42 traditionals, 2 multis, 7 mysteries, 3 virtuals, 2 letter boxes, 1 EarthCache, 3 community celebration events, 1 event and 1 CITO. As well as 37 Adventure Lab locations.
Thanks crane2 for this cache.
This cache brings Goldy's total find count to 1488.

Found by Mary and David at 13:10. We have been caching with Rabbitto for the past few days. Ah, the fumes, and Mary inhaled! Our thanks to crane2
Crane 2 also deserves an accolade for placing this cache. Great spot. Easy park n grab. Iconic location. TFTC
We were staying with Honeysucker for a couple of nights with Liz & Bruce and we ventured off today to do a few of the nearby caches but nothing that required a long walk as at 40 degree temperatures it was just too hot.
This was the first for the day and we were quite impressed with the art work on these buildings. We headed off to gz where the cache was uncovered quickly and we have added our names to the log before returning everything as found.
Thanks crane2 for the cache.

There were many grapes on the ground in front of the sign, what we do know. The magical smell made us tipsy as we searched for the cache. That’s our excuse for reading the hint wrong lol
Thanks crane2 for the placement.

Just been visiting Rockhunter54 for the weekend. Went out on the river a couple of times. Thanks Crane2 for the hide.
Day 384 ( Wednesday 16th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Barmera today. A total of 2 for the day and 6786 the trip. A grand total of 16,754 caches. TFTC
This weekend, I headed to the Murray Riverland around Berri and Renmark primarily to attend the celebration event, but also to join others in some kayaking geocaching adventures. I hadn't visited this region before, and I left really enjoying the picturesque nature of the rivers, the wine-growing areas, and pretty towns. I ended up visiting Kingston on Murray, Barmera, Berri, Lyrup, Renmark, and Paringa. Three other highlights worthy of mentioning was Chambers Creek, Katarapko Island, and the historical SA-NSW surveyed border area.
Today after spending last night in Berri, I met with others to group kayak the *Chambers Creek Canoe Cache* (CCCC) series. We then had time to find a few geocaches around Lake Bonney and climb a few trees outside Berri, before attending the lunch celebration event. Afterward, we detoured via *Katarapko* oldie, before heading south, and group attacking the geocaches group on Katarapko Island. A nice day to be out on the kayak and finding some geocache favourites.
I was amazed to see this winery area upon driving to Berri the day before, so it was nice to have made a stop today. It took five minutes to find the cache - not exactly as per the hint, but near enough. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks crane2 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
