The cache has gone, the area has been sprayed and cleared of all grass to within a couple of centimetres. No where to hide a new/replacement cache. reluctantly archiving.
One of a few caches we located today on a day trip from Christchurch to Akaroa return. Heading back to Christchurch at this point and picking up two or three on the way. This one was a reasonably quick find. #2921. TFTC.
At the GZ we searched for a short time and then Wazza picked up an object which he almost dismissed. Ah.. that’s it! The log was signed. TFTC
Very nicely done here. I was expecting quite a different hide here. A group of keen players way in the distance out on a grotty day where the forecast says its going to get a lot worse. TFTC # 14,481
Had a great weekend in Canterbury with a bit of time to grab the odd cache. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
I found the cache quickly with co-ords which were spot on while M was removing heaps of biddy-bids from his jersey.
Our 100th cache! Can't think of a better one to find for our hundredth. Logbook needs replacing. Lots of ants. TFTC.

During our holiday in New Zealand we have visited both the North and the South Island. We saw a lot of highlights of this beautiful country, but there is so much more to see. So many highlights, so many caches! The geocaches showed us a lot of special and interesting places. Sometimes a quick find, sometimes we had to search longer. A few DNF's, but that doesn't matter. We loved New Zealand and we hope to come back some day!
Today we have found the cache "Hole in one! (Canterbury)".
busy paws, thanks for creating and maintaining this cache!

Today I had time between work commitments and travelling home to go out and find a few caches. Given the location I had another type of container in mind but when I put my hand on what I found I guess it all made sense. TFTC, Biggles.
On the way home from a day out in the Akaroa Harbour. Stopped by to collect the cache. Cachelets were on top of this before I could get out of the car.
Thanks for the cache busy paws.

I was heading to an event in New Brighton starting at 6pm, so I left home around 9am to make sure I get there on time! Great day with a few caches along the way, some that have been on my to do list for some time now. Great fun, thanks to all the CO's for their hides!!
Good to have a bit of room to pull off the road, people come down here at good speed!

Had a site meeting out this way and managed to grab a few caches on the way there and back. Thanks for the effort that goes into placing and maintaining the cache. Another qualiity cache from this prodigious hider!
It was a low number calendar day. Number 2 son needed some driving practice after work. So he took me to 2 caches. It was dark!
There were big puddles at the side of the road. Luckily I didn't have to go through them and there was good parking.

Quick ride out to Tai Tapu and a couple of caches along the way. I was just about to pick this one up when out of the golf club came a man on a ride in mower to do the verge. Had to wait on the other side of the road. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25. Find # 1702
Temp disable while I sort out a more secure container. Apologies for any inconvenience, it will be back soon.

Discovered the cache on the ground along with a part of thematic item. Wasn't really sure if that was the right placement as seemed just randomly lying on the ground and the container didn't appear to have a lid of any sorts but as I had no īdea about how it should be, left as found.

Out in the area on a mission with 2Wombles, the cache wasn't what we thought but there was a rouge find. All good and signed in the end.

Decided to take a day of work and head out with Mr Cuddly Brick to clear out a few caches.
Discovered a random item right at GZ so originally thought it was the cache. Turned out it was just a coincidence that it was there, as someone using the nearby green space had obviously had a bad day.
No problems locating the cache today. Thanks for the cache.

TFTC lovely out wandering today. Cache made me laugh.
Thanks busy paws for placing the cache.
Thanks busy paws for placing the cache.
Good co-ords took us straight to this one- and nicely screened from the nearby golfers. tftc
Reasonably quick find. Not much going on today - not quite as exciting as we'd imagined but at least it's not another sistema or eclipse container!!
A quick find in the most likely spot, Mr Golfer never suspected a thing. We had to wave to a few cars though. The tape is coming away a bit, though the plug is still in place. (That should keep people guessing).

Well, what a muck up. I found the plug but not the cache so spent a wee while trying to figure out how to open it. Hmmm, can't do that wihtout destroying it so went back for another look and there was the cache. Fallen out. That's easier, signed the log and put it back together. Cheers
Cracker day outside so decided to go out and clean up a few caches in the area. Surprisingly busy road today but picked my moment to turn up the goods.
Checked, dried and sorted - -hopefully.Impressive "puddle" across the road still!
Another creative cache. Also deserves an FP! It needs a wee bit of maintenance sadly. Thanks for the cache!
The recent rain has obviously soaked a few caches! Will check this one and do some TLC within the next few days.
6 September 2017 14:39. You could still have a round of golf then go for a swim around here! Found the cache in bits and tried to reassemble but not very effectively without tools. TFTC busy paws. Cache #3081
Too cold and miserable for anyone to be out on the golf course so the cache was quickly spotted. TFTC.
Aha - came back today (I live up north and come down quite often to visit my elderly parents) to check on "Ebony and Ivory". I assume this is the cache that has been archived as my hubbie and I searched high and low for this one in February, to no avail. That must have been just after it went walk about... Nice to spot this one quickly after that last effort, TFTC
Made this the sixth stop on today's 2 hour, 39.5km, 9 geocache cyclocache ride. Nice quick find. Thanks for another cache BP.
Another cleverly disguised container found..No one playing a round over the fence..TFTH
The secret with this one was parking a few extra metres away from the team that were teeing off over the fence and wondering what we were up to. After that it was a fairly quick find. TFTC, fav point for us!
Heading to visit family for dinner so pulled over to have a quick hunt for this one as I was already running late - you can always squeeze in a cache. Took a couple of passes along the fence line before spotting the clever hide. Quick retrieve and log before returning and then it was on for a pleasant evening catching up with the rellies. TFTC
#13451. Troodles found the outer container, but where was the cache? After a couple of minutes of groping around in the long grass I tracked it down. TFTC.
A trademe pick up in Halswell this afternoon was turned into a caching opportunity, so StreetWalker and I headed a little further out of town to find a few caches near Tai Tapu.
I remembered the archived cache that was nearby as we had to have two attempts at finding it. Quickly found what we were looking for, but where was the log book? Took a bit of groping in the log wet grass to track it down. Enjoyed this one, thanks busy paws. TFTC.

A clever use of a hole in one. The sun has come out and it is trying to warm up. Thanks BP for another cache.
A fun little find and this reminded us of one of TWs out McLean Island's way. Spotted something out of the ordinary and there it was, right at our feet!! Thanks BP always enjoy your special choice of containers.
Dropped my son off at his flat and ran out for this one. Not many muggles about at 11 pm. It took a few minutes to locate the hole but locate it l did. Very well done. TFTH
**FTF** 1130pm with KarmaReprint
Was just about to head to bed when I had one last look at GC.com (now why did I do that?!)......and saw this newly(?) published cache (but HOW newly published?)......hmmmm......"Um. Mrs TG; I'm just, aahhh, popping out for a minute (or two). Ah. Um. Love you"........she just rolled her eyes "Mad". Mad? who me?!......
Tootled off to GZ....and as I pulled up I spotted a startled KarmaReprint in the headlights (anyone who has driven at night with me will know what a dangerous spot that is!).....hah. Me mad?...clearly I'm no the only one .....then again; as I hopped out of the car into the cold and frosty night - he was wearing a jacket.....I wasn't......hmmmmm......oh well, still, it's not just me - he's mad too.
He hadn't made the find yet so I joined in the dark and chilly fun until he muttered a "found it". Another nice wee cache hide. Despite the cold we stood and chatted for a bit until the 4th of July...(I even spied a shooting star).....Nice one. Thanks!

Noticed this newly published cache after I had fixed up the coords to an event in Kaikoura. Thought about it for 2 seconds then dashed out to see if I could get the {FTF}, it being only 5 minutes drive away.
Got to GZ and started looking, then who should turn up but TG himself. We rummaged around, and made the find, a nice play on words there! Solved the problems of the world for the next half an hour, till the 4th of July.
WAHOO a clean log book.
Thanks BP for the hide. Cheers.
