Logs
It's the time for Mr Hunters' to take his big annual leave chunk for the year, 1.5 years into his first full time social work role in his home city of Canberra. This year, I decided to jump on my parents' holiday to Perth (next week) but beforehand, I wanted a solo geocaching splurge. I spotted the LGA series not too far from Perth, so I soon booked accommodation for 5 nights in Boddington with the intention to finish the entire series within that time. I was really looking forward to some quiet time for solo geocaching and to have simple pub meals in a quiet country town, I've been extremely busy over the past few months and given my job involves a lot of emotional energy, I wanted to visit a secluded location as far away from home as you can get, absolutely brilliant. I've hired a Toyota Landcruiser at a bargain price and put together a list of albums to listen to whilst on the drive (for each day's log, I'll list the albums that I listened to that day).Sat 16 Nov: The LGA series is now finished, after 3.5 days worth of caching! Yes, I have had a few DNFs, but I've attempted each and every cache on the trail. All up, 520 finds, today I found 139. Now that it's all done, a sincere thank you to the CO(s) for the enormous amount of effort that's gone into this series. Even though the containers were the same, there was a heap of variety in the style of hides and there was a huge diversity in the landscapes and vegetation on display, making for a dynamic experience. Yet, there was consistency in how the caches were hidden, which made for quick and easy finds. Coordinates were accurate and very useful. Recent efforts to maintain the series have not gone unnoticed, the new containers were the most satisfying of the bunch to find and sign, with fresh logbooks. Boddington has also been a lovely place to stay, a quiet town with lots of history and beauty. I will award 52 favourite points across the 520 caches that I found, I will award them to caches for LGAs that I have visited (there's no Canberra LGA in the series and I DNF'd the Queanbeyan cache which would've been good considering Queanbeyan is next door, but not a worry). Huge thanks again for an awesome series and effort! Today's albums: Greatest Hits (Guns N'Roses), The Very Best (The Eagles), Greatest Hits (Bon Jovi), AFL Club Songs (to celebrate the release of the new fixture), The Stranger (Billy Joel), Six: The Musical (Six, listened to it again, you can tell I'm obsessed at the moment), Rickie Lee Jones (Rickie Lee Jones, thanks Scaphoid for the recommendation) and We Are the Champions (Queen, when I finished the last cache)!

First Day (for us) On The.... *LGA!*
Another very nice find on a geocaching adventure with woolwood9.
We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.
Our Experience:
Had a couple of farmers stop us who didn't seem very happy about this trail at all.
On day 3 we were talking to a farmer who was very friendly and happy about it!
Tons of dust, 36 degrees - energy draining heat, seeds in socks, flies and spiders.
OVERALL: great fun and fantastic numbers of finds!
**Appreciate the efforts of all involved.**

Find 67 of 138 with 1 DNF on day two of our Boddington Bonanza.
We started apprehensively under dark skies, just minutes after heavy rain and with huge puddles on the Quindanning bridge. Amazingly we only got one squally shower over the next three hours of caching.
Thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, placement and maintenance of these caches. It's almost a shame to have (nearly - we have 8 left) completed the series but the smileys will hopefully stay on the map for years to come.

Today TaurusSix and I were in several minds as to what the best geocaching plan of action should be, given the inclement weather . Inclement weather is probably an understatement it has been raining non stop for the last couple of day and even throughout the night heavy rain could be heard. One of our aims was the replace one of our missing caches in Narrogin, so we knew we needed to head in that general direction. We also thought along the way it would be a good idea to collect another short string of the LGA series near to Williams. So as we left home we were with our fingers and toes crossed that the rain would clear and at least in the first part of the morning we were rewarded with a dry spell. So proverbially we made hay while the sun shined and tried to get as many as possible before the next deluge . Then onto Narrogin to replace our cache and collect the new Adventure Lab there.
This is our twenty seventh cache of the day and it’s really started to rain heavy now the heavens have certainly opened. Luckily a nice quick find here we are certainly debating whether to call it. Onto the next then we will decide. TFTC

Met the team BODS11 at 6am in Quindanning for a nice early start. Managed to finish the whole LGA Series due to some really hard work and no slacking off (except going into Williams for a pie)

Out on a caching weekend with Team BODS11 the main aim is to locate and log all the LGA Series caches. Glad to say that mission completed. Thanks FOTT for this series.
Started our 2nd tour of WA now touring around the south and doing the LGA series. Thank you for a great series. 12 January 2022 12:53 pm Tyfc FellowshipOfTheTrail total caches now 3636
One of our targets for our current visit to Western Australia is the Local Government Area series near Boddington. We made a start about a week ago and then went to Bunbury and Busselton for a few days. Today we returned to Boddington to continue the LGA series.
Today we looked for 82 of the LGA caches, finding all but two of them. Unless stated otherwise, accurate coordinates and the hints led to quick finds. The cache containers were in good condition but, as should be expected, many of the log books are showing signs of being used by many cachers, some being badly torn.
We really enjoy the concept of the LGA trail. Congratulations to the members of the FellowshipOfTheTrail on an excellent series which must have taken extensive planning and a large amount of time to prepare and place each of the caches.

A lovely Mundays Road cycle today to collect the LGA series caches. Beautiful day for it. All caches were pretty easy logical finds. TFTC
Probsty and I were always going out to finish the Quindanning LGA caches today. We diverted off to Harvey Dam for some recently published caches before having an excellent cycle along Mundays Rd to start.
We had a huge day of hunting LGAs and a huge thanks to the Fellowship of the Trail for placing and maintaining them. It’s a big job and we really appreciate it.

Hi there FellowshipOfTheTrail.
We found your cache **"LGA Murrumbidgee NSW"** today. (This makes our find count 23025).
Today we headed out from Williams and attempted our first loop of the LGA group of caches as well as some others we happened to pass by. We thoroughly enjoyed today's cache finds, but please excuse our boilerplate logs - we know it's not really a good excuse, but we find it difficult to craft individual logs when we attempt so many similar caches in a day. [:(!]
We found 90 caches today & DNF'd 0. Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. Our log or stamp is not necessarily placed in the last spot in the book or sheet. If we find a blank spot when we open the log - that is where it goes.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found most caches within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking. [:(!] (We did have to look a little further afield for some though). [:(!]
**Cache Condition:** The containers and log books were mostly in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny

Good grief will I ever complete this bloody series? Not today sadly. Trip #9 to this godforsaken powertrail, and my first visit in 9 months. 43 caches found this morning, all without issue. Another 43 to go... Hopefully done before the end of the year. TFTC
After getting up nice and early (4:00) i made the journey from Albany to start The Fellowship of the Trails LGA series. It did not disappoint, starting at Carne rd and wandering through the the back roads till light became dark and i became thirsty! So i settled into the Quindanning inne for a couple of brews and a beautiful meal (thanks ladies) All up a huge day of hunting. Thanks for putting out this series, it must have taken all involved a huge effort which i'm sure all geocachers are very happy with. TFTC
Out of bed early, well 0730 on a day off is early, to make my way up to Williams. Quick stop in Barker at the bakery for brekky then back on the road. Got caught up in the roadworks close to Koji and one had those blimmin traffic lights so after what must have been a 15 minute stop there I was finally on my way again. Glad I don’t live in a place which has traffic lights.
Was about 1100 by the time I got to the first cache and was about 2/3 the way through the first section for the day when I saw some road plant machinery working the road. Timing was on my side as was the gap in the caches as that is where they stopped for a break in a driveway. Got by them and into the next cache.
Saw plenty of healthy looking sheep and cows in the paddocks which looked to have fared well over winter, rosellas, 28’s and even a red breasted robin. Awesome.
Only had one DNF out of about 90 for the day (a new PB for me the previous being 45 in a day) but have no idea which cache it was as one cache blended in to the next as I was on the go from first cache to last. Finally got home at 1730.
Thanks to those who have placed and maintained the caches along the way.
Cheers

Tagged along with Gma Allinaday to find the FellowshipOfTheTrail series. We had a fun few days looking for all caches. I loved all the lambs in the fields but the red back spiders that were on a few of the caches not so much. Thank you for putting all the caches out there for us to find.
Finally had a spare few days to go and tackle the FellowshipOffTheTrail series with my two granddaughters. Accommodation booked in Boddington a few months earlier, which we used as our base, we set off in high spirits to find all those caches. We had some big days, and also a few shorter ones. Given that it was the middle of winter, we had near perfect caching weather. Not a drop of rain, the roads were nice and smooth with little dust. The fields were lush and green with an abundance of newly born lambs, which were a never ending source of amusement for the girls. We found most of the caches where they were meant to be. Some had been strewn a number of metres away by animals. Some fences have been realigned....one cache location was some 10metres inside a new fence. Some caches have been wiped out by the grader widening the road and pushing all the dirt up. Some trees have also succumbed to new fences. Wherever possible, we have replaced caches.....approx. 26 or so, which will keep the trail alive. Many thanks to those responsible for placing all these caches. I can only imagine how much time has gone into that.
Apologies for the generic logs and thanks for the series. We do not apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to Fellowship of the Trail for placing these here for our enjoyment.

Decided went to LGA series for weekend...
Found all caches BUT expect two caches called LGA Wiluna WA and LGA Gloucester NSW - the tree is gone and another landscape - assume for new fence...
Saw a pair of tawny frogmouth owl, Snake, a kangaroo, blue-tongued, plenty farm animals...
Thanks for FellowshipOfTheTrail for the hide the cache and hunt.

Well we had plans to be in Albany this week, but plans changed so we were heading towards Dunsborough when plans changed again! Needed somewhere to stop for 1 week and the LGA series popped up on our radar!
So day 2 today and a leisurely start at 10.00 and back at the caravan by 4.30pm with 181smilies today.
We did have some trouble today with new fences having been installed, so a fair bit of searching further afield in the hope of finding displaced containers. still a good days hunt.
TFTC Guys.

I found the cache in good condition. SL. Out of a total of 563 caches in the series, I’ve found 524 with 12 DNF and 27 DNA and earn 52 favorite points. I’m putting back all the 52 favorite points at various locations in the series; this is one of them. Thank you to all the elite members of the FellowshipOfTheTrail for putting up this incredible series for all geocachers within WA and the rest of Australia and the whole world to hunt.
With over 500 caches in this series we figured it will take us quite a while to do, so today it was time to get started. One of our personal mini goals within the caching game is to cache in every LGA in Australia. Currently we have located caches in 441 of the LGAs in Australia in less that 5 years since we joined.
We have found caches in all mainlamd LGAs in Queensland, NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania. We still have some to do in NT and SA. Now that we are touring here in Western Australia, we are working on picking up caches in most of the LGAs in this state.
This is certainly a challenge, as many of the LGAs in the south of the state are quite small.
This series of caches mostly gave easy finds, but there were some we had to DNF.
As it was a hot day, we were glad for those which gave us shade to stand in while doing the signing duties.
Thanks go to FellowshipOfTheTrail for placing such an extensive series of caches.

This was such a hot day, but caching still happened along with goingplaces2 on this massive trail. Most were found easily but we missed some for different reasons. Logs were signed with both names. Thanks for this serious run of caches.

rudi63 and I headed out to have a go at part of the LGA series today. We made the choice to start with the southern section of the series and see how we went. We made pretty good time overall, finding a bit over 200 of them in about 7 hours or so, which included a bit of back tracking over completed areas and also stopping for lunch.
Most of the finds were made rather easily. A few were found out in the open and then replaced where the hint said the cache should be and a few are the dreaded now. Overall a fun, but tiring, day and a big thank you to all that are a part of FellowshipOfTheTrail.
Thanks for the cache FellowshipOfTheTrail, it was cache number 2670 for me and was number 26 in my run of 217 finds and 9 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.
Cheers

Mr Wileyclan and I planned to attack a section of this lengthy series. An early start and a drive to the south most section.
A long day, and success in that we broke a few PBs. for me it was the most in a Day, the most in a Weekend, and the most in a month. Most of the caches were easy finds, some took a little longer to search for, but at least we kept the DNF tally to a low acceptable level.
We had a fun day, we did beleive that the Fellowship missed the opportunity to achieve some silly puns with some of the LGA names.
Fantastic power series.

We great day with team Pollythecollie finding 107 caches - a personal record for us and amazingly no DNF’s. Most caches found easily, only needing to check the hint on 3 caches. Thanks Fellowship of the Trail for all your work in setting up this series.
Apologies for the duplicate log... Thanks for the fellowship of the cache team for setting up this series for us. After a little bit of a late start driving up from Busselton we were able to complete 40 then off to the Quinny pub for lunch. Definitely recommend the pub delicious food and quick friendly service. Another 70 after lunch we found 100% of the caches we searched for. All caches in good condition with dry logs. Very helpful hints on the 3 we need a hint on. All in all a very good day for us, 115 caches found stopping at 5.15pm due to rain.
Hi there FellowshipOfTheTrail - the current challenge fron GC was a good reason for me to head down and look for some of the LGA series of caches. I headed towards the southermost section and began. In all 222 finds with 3 DNF's (maybe I didn't look hard enough). SL. The container and log are in good contidion for all caches found. Thanks to FellowshipOfTheTrail for this cache - our find #5697.
Granett, SVKR_WA and I had hatched a plan to head out and knock over some of the LGA series and also see how many we could get in a day. Our goal was 200 as we wanted to camp up as well so had to leave early.
We ended up with around 200 of the series. Starting at 7.00ish and finishing here at 1.30pm to head of and find a nearby cache and also do some maintenance.
We had a great day with many laughs shared at the expense of ourselves and also other members of the Fellowship
We decided to head up to Congelin to camp for the night where I am writing this log.

Am super, super happy! They're all done!! Yay!!!
Now I have to log them all. Not so super happy now am I?
Oh well, here goes - all will be pretty much generic, unless something about the cache, the location or something else at gz warrants a mention.
Numbers, numbers, numbers. Not normally my thing, but I did enjoy the two days spent out there with geobuddy marke8183. I supplied the food, drink, directions and other necessities whilst he did the driving, and all without a complaint. Sweet man that he is. And numbers aren't his thing either. He has probably visited about a half of all the caches I have logged and yet he has only logged 158 to date.
The Fellowship of the Trail have put in a lot of work in setting up this power trail. I can only imagine how many visits they had to make to get them all out, and then the maintenance will be ongoing. Power to them!! Awesome work guys. Thanks.
Now I have to log them all. Not so super happy now am I?

A long, record-breaking day with Spatialriq collecting as many caches on the LGA series as we could. 328 in total for me and the only blemish was a section of flooded road we couldn't access.
All quick finds except where the rain had washed the leaf litter around the base of trees.
The ants were out in force but luckily there were no reptiles.
Thanks Fellowship for this great series.

Organised a full caching day with ssclan to find as many of the LGA series as we could. So left the Northern suburbs around 5am arriving at the first cache around 7:15am (after breaky at Armadale maccas). Found the last cache around 5:15pm, and got home around 7:30pm.
Ended up with 329 finds in about 10hrs! Managed to complete the entire Southern section and a good amount of the Western side, apart from 5 that were unreachable due to some flooded roads. Luckily all the rain hadn't effected the roads. Also picked up a few other caches in the area.
A great days geocaching, smashed my previous day record of 150, and also passed the 5,000 finds mark too!
Thanks to the Fellowship for putting all these geocaches out, a massive effort I'm sure.

As to plan we headed out to Boddington with neva2old to make a start on the LGA series and a couple others on the map too. An early start with hitting the road at 3am and claiming our first smiley at 4.40am and our last at 7.40pm. We spent an hour in Boddington....... coffee...... we needed coffee !! One car, we worked as a team and we went to every cache together. Finding our rhythm, we were signing a log every 2 minutes, an average of 30 finds every hour, we were on a roll. We had one DNF for the day and a massive 435 finds, WOW we are ecstatic and exhaustion has set in but it was well worth the effort. We will head out in the near future to claim the remainder of the LGA Series. Thanks to everyone involved in placing the caches around Boddington, TFTC
Out and about today with Parkacruz, our adventures started and 3am, to get here for and early start and to try and get and many smilies as possible on this series. We managed 429 smilies and 1 dnf which bought our total for the day to 435 a s we collected a few others on the way. We had 1 hr off the series to get a coffee which for some reason took a long time to make. We finished our day caching at sunset and then the drive back, so we arrived home at 10 pm. A massive day for us 19 hours.
We thought that we did a great days work- 1 car- 3 cachers -435 caches. woohoo
Thanks for the series Fellowshipofthetrail

I had finished my two days of work in Narrogin and so today was time to fly back to Melbourne. I hadn't planned for an early flight but woke up at 5:00am anyway. The motel was paid so I could either (a) drive to Perth and try for an earlier flight or (b) go caching! Hard choice...not!
So here I was at this cache at 6:45 ready to start on my list of specific LGA caches. Two days ago I started picking off those Councils I had worked with over the years...initially concentrating on WA. Now it was time for all the other states...starting here with Murrumbidgee...which just happened to be miles from any other cache on my list. Oh well, that was just how my morning was going to go...next stop Parkes!
Thanks to the FellowshipOfTheTrail for placing this cache and the whole power trail...

Hoping to finish the rest of the LGA series, but was not to be. Got really hot out there. So after about half that we had left. We decided to call it a day. But we'll be back to finish them in a couple of weeks, tftc sl tnln.
Headed out to make a big dent in this series. All up we had 221 finds for the day (220 in this series) and 4dnf's. All caches signed as MCJ to represent the clan Muskat83, ctvdlinden and myself, janssej, which was an easy acronym to remember seeing the cricket was on the radio.
All in all, a great day out - the heat didn't affect us too much as I think it was cooler in Boddington than it was in the metro area. Lots of competition going on, especially between all the geokids as to who would have success at each cache. Thanks for the great series and glad it's back online!
When it came to pronouncing the name of this LGA, muskcat83 struggled slightly. When I reminded him of yet another John Williamson song, he knew how to pronounce it correctly .
Out of the three finds that I have in NSW, none were in this LGA.

Joined up with Geosister (janssej) and Brother and Sister in laws clan (ctvdlinden) on a preplaned trip to do the LGA series in Williams. We logged all our finds with MCJ (a play on MCG as we are all cricket lovers). TFTC and the putting the series together. All in all, we found 221 caches for the day and 4 dnf's.
This was the 147th cache for the day, the weather forecast was for warm weather, but it didn’t bother us at all. A great day out.
Currently, I haven’t found any caches in this LGA as i haven't been in NSW as a geocacher.

Part of our clan got together and decided on an ambitious total of approx 224 for the day. We drove down from home base (Perth area) bright and early. We - muskcat83, janssej & ctvdlinden - split the kids up and continued on. We had a great day out and found 221 (4 DNF's). Thanks for the series and so happy they are back online again.
Found it. TFTC FellowshipOfTheTrail. On the way home with no time limit so I'll just plod on till dark. Great series along this road
pug002 found it 14/11/2017 set off early to do these caches, TFTC FellowshipOfTheTrail

Please be respectful of the local environment and road conditions. Ensure you park off the road and be aware of large vehicles that might be in the area.
We would like to thank the **Shire of Williams** for working with us to keep this power trail alive.

Day Eighteen of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I loitered around Quindanning, and we did a few more of the LGA series.
A lovely sunny day with green fields, lots of wildflowers, and dry roads.
Our second day on the LGA series. We started near the pub and cut across to Williams for lunch (and out internet fix), then back to do the arms of that track, finishing up back at the pub for dinner.
I think we did most of the WA series and fair slug of the NSW series.
A good container to use for the series, and a nice collection of hides
Thanks, Robmc.

#13202. Day 18 of our WA holiday and our first day based at Quindanning.
A full day chasing more caches in the LGA Series. First cache signed at 8.00am and we put in a solid 3.5 hours before heading into Williams for lunch and for some internet reception.
Another glorious day with fields of gold and fields of green, blue skies and plenty of wonderful scenery in all directions. We are also enjoying the wildflower displays along the roadsides.
We were pleased to see the ammo can at LGA Boddington. At LGA Wandering we had a nasty experience with a swarm of wasps (we originally thought they were bees, but on reflection think they were wasps as they chased us all the way to the car, into the car and would not leave us alone.
After lunch we put in some more hard yards and ended up with a day's total of 202, our best day ever.
Thanks FellowshipOfTheTrails

Found by Mary & David at 1438 on our third and final day on the LGA trail. Delighted to finish them all today. Our thanks to FellowshipOfTheTrail.
We made a very early start today with richlink and JacobsCrew2 to endeavour to complete this series in one day. All caches were found and logs signed with our team name for the day RIJ. We had a lot of fun along the way and retired exhausted at the end of the trail.
Thank you FellowshipOfTheTrail - a sterling effort!

After conferring with previous finders and at their encouragement, together with iluvtrekking and JacobsCrew2 we decided to embark on an attempt to log all caches in this series in the one day. It took a lot of pre-planning and mapping to be confident we could do it, so Fathers Day was nominated for the quest. Arrived at the first cache before sun up on a day that proved to be very chilly with the temperature not rising above 12 deg all day. We worked systematically through the different sections and were elated to have logged (used RIJ to record our visit) all the finds due to excellent co-ords provided by the various CO's of the series. This is definitely our type of scenery for caching and although it was cold, we all enjoyed the day and will remember it for a long time to come. Thank you FellowshipOfTheTrail
We woke up to heavy rain & thought that this did not bode well for our plans to complete this series today. However as there were only 38 left to do, nothing was going to stop us! The sun obviously shines on the righteous as the rain miraculously stopped after this one & held off to the finish....yipee! TFTC FOTT
Out with just M4yb today to get a few more of these and hope fully set a few new records for us, oh and get a bit closer to our milestones before WA GOES BIG.
Thanks for the series and smileys FOTT

Second raid on the LGA series is happening today, with a couple of goals to fulfill. Accommodation at the Quindanning Inne has been arranged and caches loaded, we hit the road for a couple of geodays.
Thanks again to the Fellowship CO's for all the much appreciated hard work in creating this Trail.

Tftc out with the crew to do the power trail left busselton was warm got here was freezing with misty rain. Day got better as it went on . Got queried as to whether we were sheep rustlers cachers beware you are being watched from up on the hill. Friendly farmers in the area.
We were up for the start of the challenge.
Only a start, knowing there is more than one day's effort here for us country bumbkins who travel up from Busso for a days outing.
Doing these caches brings back memories from the LGAs that now have smileys on from all around our great country.
Thanks for creating the series, really enjoyed seeing the countryside in this late winter/nearly spring kinda weather.

As part of the FOTT I am pleased to be able to log this one as a find! The series took many months of planning and was not without the odd hiccup but we managed to jump the hurdles and keep the series in place. A fantastic addition to geocaching in WA and I am proud of the efforts of the other FOTT members (AlliedOz, Granett, KrabiBoy, Kyzabra and SVKR_WA) for all they have done in getting this series up and running.
Day 1 of the LGA caches.
7.5 hours of caching saw us with just over 200 finds.
After seeing these published last week we hatched a plan to make a start on this series on our next days off. Booked a nights accommodation and left home bright and early armed with some information from previous finders, the most important being the addition of wellie boots to our TOTTs.
A huge thanks to the Fellowship of the Trail lads for a great series.
TFTC FellowshipOfTheTrail this is find # 2975 for us.

All caches were logged Team Bock using the first initial of our caching name to save time.
well what an interesting few days this has been waiting to see where these caches were going to be. Knowing they were getting published I was asked to come over early to wait to see when it was going to happen....After stalking a few peoples profile who we thought were part of the Fellowship team OOH YEH already had an idea that the area was Boddington. It was lucky she was on the computer when the first one came out as it was out of my range for notifications. Got straight in the car and had arranaged to meet Barnzy and Cravo at the first cache. Once at the cache it was then a waiting game (thankfully not to long) for the rest to come out. We should mention theres hardly any phone reception out there so it was a mad panic to save all the caches. All caches were found without any problem with a few that were replaced and a few put back where they should have been. I think with non stop caching we got over 400 FTFS and then back out the next morning to grab the rest. A great series to do and I cant imagine how much work went into setting it up. Thanks to all the Fellowship Team for placing these caches and I will give fav points out as I'm logging.

After a long work week I decided to have a look around the geocaching website to see if there were any new caches that might be good to try this weekend and boy were there!!
After a bit of contemplation I decided it was a little too far to drive at night and planned to head out for a big day today.
I woke up early and had a quick glance and saw there were still some FTF's available and piled the geo-sons in the car and started the trek down, on the way I saw that we would be passing Pinjarra and gave MissNerdBerger a call to see if she wanted to join us. After a quick stop while MNB got ready and the plan was hatched to head to the head of one of the many cache trails and chase the FTF.
After over shooting the first cache by a couple of km's we doubled back and was able to make a quick find but were a little disappointed to be the second name on the log, never mind on to the next trail.
Another quick find and again second on the log, I was scratching my head, who was this mysterious BOCK?
After being beaten by BOCK again at our third attempt we were stocked to find a blank log and claim a FTF and continued along the trail and were able to pick up two more before running into Cravo10 who regaled us with the talk of BOCK.
As we continued along our small trail we enjoyed the drive and had the geo-sons out for a few grabs themselves and stopping for a roadside picnic lunch before a last dash for some caches before heading home.
We ended today with 60 finds (3FTF's) and plans for a huge day soon in the future.
TFTS FellowshipOfTheTrail a couple of favourites for all the hard work.

**FTF** with OOH YEH, KristyBelle & Cravo10, we formed team "BOCK" for ease of log writing.
We had been engaging in dialogue back and forth with all sorts of theories around this Fellowship of the Trail stuff that has been circulating around the traps for sometime.
I was talking to mrs OOH YEH on Friday and she had theorised that the series was around Boddington area (how right she was!!) The first cache pinged down to the phone and there was mad calls between OOH YEH who was with KristyBelle and Cravo and myself who had agreed to head to LGA Sydney NSW as that was the first published.
We all met up and went in Mrs OOH YEHs car from there to grab cache after cache after cache following the trails for kilometre after kilometre. The most satisfying feeling was cracking open the tubes and heading it "break the seal" knowing that you were FTF
We continued for hour after hour finishing after dark collecting over 400 FTFs on the first day of publication plus a couple we were beaten to by other cachers.
Was a huge achievement by the team; Most FTFs in a day in Australia, most finds in a day in Western Australia (which will likely be beaten soon!!) and a couple of others which I've been reminded off by some of the most stat conscious cachers in this great state of ours.
The second day was a bright and early start with over 80 FTFs picked up before the weather set in making driving a bit more slippery and most cache finds needing to jump small rivers to grab the caches and resulting in one of the group managing to have two soaking wet shoes.
The trail could be done as a whole on one huge day if you desire, with the right planning this is certainly possible.
What a great series setup by these local cachers Jinta29, alliedoz, kyzabra, Krabi boy, granett and svkr. A huge effort and well done. I hope that cachers will help you guys with the huge task of maintenance so this series can live on for a long time and you may be even inspired to hide another trail. Thank you.
Probably will go down as one of my favourite caching days, which I'm sure my stats will remind me of for some time to come as some of these records will never be beaten by me again!

I hope that cachers will help you guys with the huge task of maintenance so this series can live on for a long time and you may be even inspired to hide another trail. Thank you.
Probably will go down as one of my favourite caching days, (apart from the full week prior planning and going to work early preparing for a release of caches at any point) I'm sure my stats will remind me for some time to come as some of these records will never be beaten by me again!
