I think I found the tree, but looked under the rocks and stuff and on the tree, couldn't find it.
Looked everywhere, got bitten by everything and dug up dirt and rocks and couldn’t find it anywhere. I even looked at all the photos and reviews and still nothing.
found on the way to the tip, cairns was our reshop place before the next 12 day section of the trip. thankyou for adding into our adventure
We definitely found the right tree based on the photos but no joy. It will be interesting to see who finds it next!
Wandered down the path through the long grass and found it fairly quickly with the help of past posts. Didn’t get to sign as the paper was fairly flimsy and full. (And I got impatient with the mosquitoes!)
Thanks
Thanks
Great spot, we were lucky enough to watch the Kuranda Train as it passed by. The rainforest was lovely and cool after the heat of the day.
Found. It is a small cache made from what looks like lids from a soft drink bottle.
No trains for us this afternoon. We were way too late. We parked at the end of Robb Road and made the short walk to the cache. A couple of possible hiding spots were identified and I am glad that we chose the easier option as a starting point. Moved one piece of camo and there was the cache container.
We added our name to the logsheet which was looking full.
Thanks for this hide Dad & Geokids. A fun walk and find.

This was a cool one, great spot. Thanks for the new place to explore with my pup. Had no odea it existed.Tftc.
First bottle lid cache I've seen, but should have used a bigger container because there are so many good hiding spots. Still good. Tftc
GPS led us up the right side. Looked around using hint. No luck. Kids saw a train go passed and waved to tourists. Thank you anyway
Found with Jack and Sarah after our 7 weeks visit to Cairns. Cache and log safe. Tftc
Cairns trip 2019. Day 16. Today was the day allocated to caching around Cairns. I tried, but the rain kept coming in waves and cutting my enthusiasm for delving into long grass or up steep hills. I did manage a few fun caches though. A short walk took me to the area for this cache. No trains passed while I was here and I eventually located the cache in the dampness.
Thanks.

It's places like this locals forget about, what a gorgeous spot, didn't find the big Orb spider but a gonna that gave me a fright, . Tyftc
The giant golden orb spider that Mrs Coconut walked into near the cache was slightly more frightening than the cache guardian! But a great spot and a great adventure for geodogs. We arrived just as the arvo train did, so lovely view en route. TFTC
Found but forgot to bring a pen! Partner screamed when she moved the rock and saw the spider

Looked at every tree. Stood on the co-ordinate spot but there is no tree just there.
Terrain a bit much for my ankle where GPS was sending me and I reckon I saw some of this stinging plant stuff I'm so terrified of.....so more of a 'did not look' for me. TFTH though.
There was no TB..... cache is a bit small for a TB. But still a good easy find. Kids loved the walk. Found with Ash_Ty family cache day
Bit overgrown there today but easy find when we got to cache, had a bit of a yelp at the guardian of the cache! Tftc
Wasn't a trackabke inside great 4 wheel drive track thought it was somewhere else
I needed the hint to help the search, and while I was looking under the bigger rocks, I unexpectedly knocked the actual cache into view (the spider did make me double take!),
I also read the statement that if I timed it right the Kurandah train will loop around you, but I thought I would not be that lucky. Yet while signing the cache, I was sure I heard a train in the distance. Running up the path I was very happy to catch the amazing sight of the train looping around me.

We didn't read the cache listing well enough. That's why we bushbashed through very rough country until we finally found what we were looking for...
Thanks for bringing us to this interesting place[^]!
