couldn’t find it, we looked near a fallen tree at the start and then looked at a tree with a cut in a log piece and all we could find was a huggies nappy bag..
To day I joined MinnieK and Fitzy for a day trip to the Shell Harbour region, with the CCE Christmas event as the high light of the trip. Lots of fog on the range, but only overcast down on the coast. It was a late trip home via a CITO, but a great day. The pig in the school came over to say hi through the fence.
There is a log in a bag here, but no container.
Thanks for the cache jf_1234

#8187 (7 of 22 today - including 5 Lab Caches)
Finally! Having been restricted to my LGA for soooooooooo long, I can finally get out in the worlds - up to a point. And this is pretty much the point! Not allowed to go much further than this.
On the trip down, I was hoping to grab a First2Find in Wollongong, but it was logged about 15 minutes before I could get there, so kept going to my target area.
Since my last physical find in August I had 10 Adventure Lab locations to grab, and grabbed all of them to keep the numbers - and a few souvenirs, ticking over.
So today, I went for a mix of Traditionals, Puzzles and Labs. Got most I went for but a few DNFs along the way - one or two probably due to impatience precluding a proper search.
And made my 8200 mini-milestone. Decided to make that the AL Bonus - in thanks for Labs keeping me going over the last 100+ days.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
The main dilemma was where to access GZ from. finally worked out the obvious and made a quick find - the logs along in their ziplock bag on the ground. No container to be seen.
But a pig from next door came over to say hello.
Signed and replaced with a bit of camo, but this needs TLC ASAP.

Quick park and grab.
Log was on the ground and ripped open. Put back where I thought it should be.

Needs a bit of an upgrade, most of the paper has disintegrated. Other than that great hiding spot!
Found cache in grass in open. Needs am upgrade. Unable to write on paper due to moisture. Placed back in a close by hiding place
Delicious sounding pig found it very relaxing. First try at a great casher lots of fun
Cache in good shape but will survive longer if it was in a proper container. TFTC
Find 232 for the tribe.
Out caching with the geokid this morning and this one was as it turned out our last one of the day. A nice section of bushland that we would normally have no business being anywhere near. I spent a while looking around in the VERY long grass. Geokid spots it without really even trying. It's amazing how often this happens.
It could do with a small sistema container or even a mint tin if you are heading out this way. Some nice swaps still left in the plastic bags for the next finder.
The muggles across the fence were eyeing us off (see pic) but for once I didn't feel the need to be stealthy while being watched.
Thanks for the cache!

Found the fallen tree. Well, a few if them. After searching a bit further, I found a bag only. Clean log. No container? Muggle neighbour was eyeing me off. TFTC
I found the log out in the open just in a plastic bag. The log was wet. I placed it in an obvious hiding place, but it needs a new container. TFTC
TFTC. Needs maintenance. New log sheet put in to new zip lock bag as no log sheet found
Like the others said just a chewed up bag easy find just look for a small yellow toy in a zip lock bag .
Completely disintegrated log. Only part of the chewed up bag is left and a toy to mark it's place
didnt find it, looked around both fallen trees but did come out with a scratch so that was fun not our heat day
We headed down from Sydney to take Mr Gaztek's mother out to see the lastest movie version of Call of the Wild. But first, a couple of geocaches. A nice little undeveloped block and walk-through in this neighbourhood. No muggles around and a pleasant find late on a Sunday morning. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
This cache needs to be replaced. The bag is torn and the log is saturated and cannot be signed. TFTC
Found remnants of a plastic bag at GZ, so replaced with new bag and.new log. This is s very open and vulnerable spot for a cache.
