Well this is an interesting conundrum. It's definitely seen better days as now it requires social activity to also accomplish. Well, I guess one can also simply widen the search systematically in a radius of several kilometres. Luckily it was a hot day and after a short hike we came to frolick in the cool waters nearby, which instigated conversation down this puzzling route.Made my way to the projected gz where I went around and around in ever widening circles till my hair desired pulling and teeth began gnashing.Eventually discovered the prize a mere forty something metres from where I was assured it might well be. Criminey that took a while.Recorded some numbers for co interest.Another replacers photos helped somewhat. thank you!
Recently out and about at wappa falls for a dip after all the summer rain filled the dam again. Wow - they were flowing alright! The rapids were pretty awesome. Having solved this many moons ago and knowing where GZ was, I made a plan of approach. Pretty sure I took the best and most fun way too. From the swimming hole I crossed over and walked a short distance along the parallel rocky bed straight to the final. The cache wasnt exactly at the coords but thanks to the pictures of those that recently replaced the container I was able to make a quick find. Smart move, putting it on higher ground. Then it was back to hubby at the falls for another swim. Glad to finally convert this to a find !
With original finder amongst us, we could not find, so have replaced, and placed a rock on top of cache.

Performing this puzzle the conventional way via binoculars seemed to be quite difficult these days with the tree top no longer present. Furthermore, a string of DNFs didn't give us with much confidence of finding the cache, even if we were able to follow the instructions correctly. We had a couple of previous finders in our mist, so we proceeded towards the likely GZ.
Ultimately, we searched amongst the river banks for a considerable length of time, and could not find any evidence of a cache. The cache was replaced in a small hollow of a stump right next to a three forked branch stump. To assist future visitors, I attach a couple of photos of the feature that should be searched for once within the vicinity of GZ. Thanks Thorny_Devil for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Today, it was an early start in hiking Mount Wappa as part of the [Wappa Walk](https://coord.info/GCABND9) event. Despite being a little unwell, a strategic rest at the top allowed me to return to my usual self, and continue with another planned hike in the afternoon. We saved the longer, difficult hike for the early afternoon, and it turned out to be a hot Winters day that really tested our endurance and stamina. However, no hike is a bad hike, and it was then a rush to get home to catch up with family, fighting the usual M1 late afternoon congestion.

No luck for me today although I had E_Smiley with me showing me where she found it some time ago.
I will put this one of the watchlist.
I will put this one of the watchlist.
May need to be Re logged and updated as there is a lot of debris, unfortunately after a pretty thorough search we were unable to locate this cache.
Lots of dead trees under the power lines but no cache for us today. A plus for us is that we now know how to get there quickly on both sides of the creek.
After the effort to get to the area and not find the cache was a disappointment. We had a good search but couldn't come up with the dead tree. Looked at plenty. Next time maybe.
Got some help from a past finder. I think the recent floods got to this one a little because it was saturated.
Found the right tree after an extensive search. Very satisfying as I have had my eye on this one for ages!

Third time here.
First time I could not find it at all, even with help of a previous finder. Second time, after a recent replacement I still could not find it, no wonder as it was replaced 58 meters away.
This time I knew the quickest route and soon made the find.
Thanks for hiding

Staying in Landsborough for a couple of weeks and a good time to find some caches in the local district and re-visiting some previous DNF's.
The grass ferns were much higher as was the water then our last visit and of course got our feet wet making our way across the raging river!
Our search began around the GZ area by eagerly searching for the recently replaced new container but our search proved fruitless. Time for a PAF or two and soon had a good hint to go by and then a quick find was made, it was much, much further away then expected.
Thanks CO for this different type of cache, was fun to do.

Out and about with Muggle65 today. Cache replaced but not right on the bank anymore. A lot of people seem to stay there. Still a dead tree to the right of the powelines but a wee way up from the bank now. Great concept for a cache. Thank you for a really fun experience
This is a great walk, like Somerset & Wivenhoe the water has receded and what was is no longer what is. Great hide thank you for the Cache
Came up from the Gold Coast especially to find this cache that has been on my to-do list for quite some time as I need this D/T combo for my grid. Spent two days caching around Caloundra first up and today we had an early morning start with a detour across to here before making our way back home later in the day.
Went up the track on the high side and looked down to see where I had to end up and going by the description I knew I had to get down to the South Maroochy River and look for the fallen dead tree.
Bush bashed straight down under the power lines which was quite overgrown, found a decent section to rock hop but still got wet getting across as it was extremely slippery with all the moss and algae on the majority of the low smaller rocks which we needed to place our feet on. Finally got on the dry bank and went to what is described as GZ and started the search but after 30 minutes and having widened the search even further we came up empty handed. I had a previous finder with me, grannysmith1947 and little Millie geo dog, but still no luck. Tried a few PAF's and still no joy so it was time to message the CO for some guidance as it looks like there is a campsite made up here with a new hammock, fire pit and rubber tiles placed nearby and we feel the cache could have been found and taken by whoever comes here. After waiting an hour more around the GZ area and with no response from the CO it was time to head off.
We crossed the creek a little higher up this time which was much safer and not as slippery then found our way back up the hill feeling very disappointed to have come this far and not get a smilie. Will come back up the Coast another day when someone finds this or if it gets replaced by the CO, this will also give me the opportunity to look for Eagle Eyes 2 & 3 whilst I'm here.
Thanks for placing this cache Thorny_Devil

Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. With a former finder in tow, a lovely walk down the creek line, to the right tree .... but nada. Sad now. Seems a checkup will be required.
Out and about with Selva Girls and Brislions today. We found what we needed and headed down the hill to the creek and soon reached GZ. Searched for what seemed like ages for this one. Once found our names were added to the log. TFTC
Caching on the Sunshine Coast with Mr CuriousQuest and Brislions. Our day had been hijacked by a FTF run so, after finding that cache, I decided to head to Wappa Dam. This cache was a bit of fun. We found what we needed and headed down the hill. A stroll along the creek and we soon reached GZ. There, the cache was located after a bit of a hunt and our names added to the log. TFTC
Found it at last! We drove out this way especially to find this one cache, as it fills one of the last gaps in our D/T grid. Only six to go now until it's full!
We found a way down the hill bashing through the bush. It wasn't too overgrown, and a lot of the way we could hear the creek, even though we couldn't see the power lines much of the way. When we got to the creek we realised it was much too deep to cross (it rained a lot last night), so we had to rock-scramble over slippery rocks back 30 metres or so, so we could cross at the rapids. This was the hardest part of the journey- it was overgrown and slippery and every foot had to be carefully placed. Mr STW was doing well in his Merrill boots, but my fancy new runners which are designed for cushioning to cater for my foot problems, don't provide great support or grip. Eventually we made it to the tree that we'd seen from the other side, and found the cache where expected. There was no soggy old log inside, just the label from a previous visit. We found a nice little log book and mini ziplock bag in our gear and refreshed the cache contents, taking the label and old bag away. Replaced the cache with the hole facing down and made our way back. Imagine our surprise to see a family playing by the creek not far from where we crossed back over- turns out they'd made their way there from the nearby falls!
The trek back up the hill seemed quicker and closer than we'd expected, and we arrived back at our car with satisfied smiles.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment! It was a fun scramble in a nice quiet spot.

What a great little cache!
Eleventh cache of the day . I was in Yandina helping Orange Crew find and celebrate his sixth loop, and chamad find and celebrate his 1000th cache. What a fabulous day with great company and great weather.
After the celebrations, we headed off up the mountain to find an old cache and a few others. After returning, we decided to stop off and find this one.
Initially I had no idea how to "solve" this one, but I was encouraged by the log of a recent finder, and decided to add it to today's list. I am glad I did because it is an amazing place! We could see the waterfall and the creek - the sky was blue and the sun hot, and the water cool and refreshing.
After making our way down and across, we used the geosenses and eventually chamad found the goods. Good man. The log is a pulpy mash, so we tore the tag out of geonayfee's bag and used that to create a makeshift log. Some maintenance is required.
TFTC - and a TB visit while I am here.

What a beautiful location. The sounds of running water is always so pleasant. I'll definitely be coming back here another time to visit the waterfall.
A lot of bush bashing was required to track down this cache and maybe a little water bashing to, but with today being a little warm we didn't mind getting our feet wet.
looking for a micro in a forest isn't the best, but Chamad had no issues locating it. The log was saturated so I had to remove a tag from my bag and sign that. Now to find our way out of here!

What a caching day
First it was the multi, puzzle and trads of Yandina. The up the mountain to do any oldie and some unloved, with geo Nayfee and oz bean counter. Then the three of us were off to this one.
While the hints were helpful the previous logs helped even more. It’s not a spoiler if you reiterate what others have said, so. Hints say near a dead tree and to the right of the powerlines. While there are stepping stones you may still get your feet wet getting to gz. Look for something that is usual to most geocachers but not suspicious to the commoners.
Log was wet and unable to be signed, but we managed to take a tag of material from a backpack, sign it and place it in cache.
We were pretty wrapped to find this one . Who places a micro in the bush and turns it into a puzzle and expects people to find it??? While the environment may have changed it was great to have the help from the description and previous logs, fp for me.

With a day free, a list was compiled of newly published caches in the Caboolture area, along with target caches around the Yandina, Wappa Dam Nambour and Palmwoods areas.
Well that was quite an adventure! This one would have been a little easier during last year's big dry, but meh. Made my way through the lantana and brambles down down and down, hearing loud sounds of water rushing over rocks below.
Scrambled over the rocks and down a slab to find the water actually wasn't too high and the crossing was very doable without getting wet, thankfully I had my walking pole to assist with balance. Headed to GZ and it took a bit of searching to find the SPOR and hence the container.
The log was pulp so I signed the baggy as I didn't have any paper on me. The next finder may wish to bring some or maybe the CO could do a maintenance run.

Out again after another paddle. Deja vu with the same thing happening yesterday - out chasing some interesting D/T combos.
Having read some recent logs I opted not to go up before heading down. I had also run in to a previous finder at my last hunt and was confident that my wing and a prayer would be enough.
There was a bit water in the creek and the crossing was a carefully planned affair. Safely and dry footed on the other side I began my hunt. I could only see one tree that looked dead, but it yielded nothing.
A lot of other trees looked dead, but were not, and I was not finding much at all. More circles and I was looking in the same spots. A PAF gave me a bit of an idea how far from the creek I needed to be and after checking almost every tree I eventually found the little blighter.
Very happy as this completes my 5th D/T loop.

Out today with grannysmith1947 chasing caches to filling in my D/T Grid. After this one two to go. What a lovely area beautiful creek. Love these places geocaching take me. Was sitting on a rock doing this log a big marsh fly landed on me trying to wave it away drop my phone in the water. Lucky for Otto case. It survived and now finishing the log.

Today we had a brilliant picnic in nearby Jack Harrison Park with muggle friends up for 6 weeks from Warrnambool. After finishing our picnic, we left the ladies drinking coffee before setting off on our adventure. We parked nearby and went up to the posted coords but had no joy locating the dead tree even with binoculars, so decided to follow the power cables down into the valley and crossed the creek as previous cachers had logged and went slightly to the right. We soon located the dead tree and had the cache in hand - unfortunately the log was just a soggy mess, so have replaced it with a new piece of paper. Thanks for the great adventure, deserves a favourite point for something different. TFTC Thorny_Devil
Today’s plan was to fill in a couple of the last remaining spots on my D/T grid and this was the first on the list.
Getting to the parking coordinates it looked pretty overgrown there - climbed up to the published coordinates, very slippery and wet, things weren’t looking promising! Saw the likely tree, looked over the other side of the road and it looked a lot better. Gave the darling wife the chance to bail, she said yes so off we went.
Got down to the river and it was pretty slippery down there. Elected to leave shoes, keys etc on the river bank and made it across without incident. Wandered along the riverside, wondering what kinds of nasty critters you have in this part of the world and eventually found the obvious tree.
Signing completed it was back across the river with a small slip just near the bank leaving me a bit wetter than absolutely necessary.
What a great little adventure this was!

What great fun this Cache was. I needed the rating to complete my fourth loop of the DT grid. Dragged my mum along for the walk as she is currently working on her first loop. Parked at the spot and we managed to just see the tree without having to go up the up bit. Made the beeline down and crossed over the pond which was fun although we had to be sure of the footing. This area is totally stunning and we enjoyed making the short walk to GZ. Where my special smilie was waiting. Sadly the cache holder has broken(?) and the log was wet. Dried it out just enough to get our names on it without tearing the paper. Replaced the cache back to its spot and built a little SPOR to keep it in place. The way back saw us take longer to cross but shorter on the up.
Adding a favourite point as it was a fun mother daughter adventure trip.

Well it was Wacky Wednesday but without Wombles&Co today, so deciding on a plan last night, it was determined we should head here first, for me to finally claim this one off my list. We didn't realise just quite how humid it was going to be today, and by the time we were doing the creek crossing, we were quite wet, but not from creek water!
The journey had both NyssaFlutterby and I wishing we had applied the Bushmans before starting, and imagining ticks all over us. A few hours later I THINK I can safely say it ended up only being mosquitoes that did decide to sample us. Arriving near GZ I looked here and there and over that way and finally found the right tree, yes we had gone right past it hadn't we!
But eventually we had tapped into nature and made the find, a find that completed my second loop today!! This cache definitely earns its D/T too.
Thanks for the cache Thorny_Devil.

Third time lucky! I first visited this area back in October with burgo78. We were confident of where the cache location was but unfortunately for us by the time we were close to GZ it was dark. Having only lights from our phones we were forced to abort the find. That night I had to go the the Gold Coast. Eagle Eyes 1 was added to my to-do list. burgo78 visited and found the cache during day light hours and confirmed we were correct with the location. Several weeks later I returned to hopefully find this cache but was thwarted by LOTS of water after a recent storm. Today I was back with two fellow geocachers, E and Ardom. At what we thought was GZ, Ardom found the container and there were smiles all around Thanks for this challenging cache.
Cheers

Met up with TeamDIEL and wayn0 this afternoon to grab this one. From the start point, I searched with binoculars and made a guess on my map as to where the cache would be. Nice walk to the cache, although the water looked a bit rancid (as sign about dead fish upstream explained that). The water was low enough to hop across. Made our way to the cache bypassing an injured heron and several spiders, and made a quick find of the cache. Only 5m from the coords I had guess from the start! TFTC.
Met Wayn0 from attending a couple of events now, I have always been impressed with his travels and caching from day 1. We talked a lot of things at the last event, including Challenge caches, completing D/T grids, Old Caches, Virtuals and Earthcaches etc etc. All of which interest me, but I'm only keen if someone is caching with me.
The D/T of this cache caught Wayn0's attention and suggested we’ll tackle this and another hard cache further south. I have no idea what this entailed but I went with him anyway and tried to ask more cachers to join thru the Facebook Group. Glad Ardom came along! The more the merrier!
Didn’t even bother to solve the hard puzzle, Wayn0’s got the idea where it is from his previous visit with Burgo78. Ardom was first at the posted coordinates and sussed the situation while we bought some reef shoes in case we needed them. Glad the rocks weren’t slippery, they were dry as! And very stable too! Ardom with his eagle eyes found the cache first.
Now on to the other cache for the D/T grid.

This was my primary target for the day. After finding this I have now completed three loops of my D/T grid. When I arrived at the posted coordinates, I couldn't locate the dead tree. Or rather, I could locate several possible dead trees but didn't know which one to aim for. I guess it didn't matter much as I didn't take the most direct route. I drove around to the falls, which are very dry at the moment. From there, I followed the path along the southern side of the creek and accidentally went too far. It was hard to spot the powerlines through the trees but I got back on track and found a good spot to cross the creek. Once across, the hint came in very handy and I quickly located the cache. The log was very damp but I was able to sign it.
Thanks for the cache Thorny_Devil. This was find #3787. Please discover my trackable: MMGJ6B

Came back with the Mrs and in the daylight and (surprise surprise) it was much easier, there was even found a path beside the creek rather than bush bashing in the dark parallel to it!
We would have only been 30m or so away the other night but couldn't see over the creek. Today we rock hopped and made a quick find.
Thanks for a different kind of puzzle.
Favourite point.

After collecting the Evil and the Bones series further north we had a crack at this one but with fading light - fading to black very quickly we were unable to even find the tree to try to make the find.
Another day perhaps.
Another day perhaps.
Goodies & geomutts found it. What a really nice place to visit. Bit of bush bashing on the way down but well worth the effort. We did it just after rain and a word of WARNING rocks down the bottom ultra slippery when wet.
We couldn’t believe our luck, we had been out caching yesterday so we thought there would be no chance of us venturing out today as the cache blockers would need lifts somewhere for their social lives…but no, wait for it, one was sick and one was studying for a Japanese exam. No need to twist our arm we’ll head out and leave you guys in peace. Once we had sufficently drugged up the sick one with half of the pharmacy we were off.
Arriving at the posted co-ordinates, we certainly needed eagle eyes to spot the tree (ie. Binoculars) and then soon we started our trek down to the cache. A nice crisp morning for a bit of rock hopping or should we say boulder hopping, being careful not to slip on the moss.
We passed a couple walking their dog on the path above us and they must have been thinking ‘idiots can’t they read.’ Well the jokes on them we can read but we don’t comprehend any warnings when there is a bit of plastic in there we can write our name on.
Arriving close to what we thought we started scouting around until we saw some suspicious deliciousness, bingo we had found the prize.

That was a little trek and an obstacle to surmount to reach the cache but reach it we did thanks to hubbys bush skills today. Put new log and small bag in to keep it dry. TFTC
This is one of the Sunshine Coast's hidden gems and I always enjoy visiting Wappa. I had a great time on the last adventure of your's out here and this was just as challenging and fun. I took my new bins to the first waypoint and easily spotted where I had to go. There's also a palm tree there to help determine the final location.
I thought that I might head back up the road a bit but discovered that I had parked right beside the start of a very handy track going down. This took me down to a track along the creek which I followed under the power lines. I went further and found a beautiful tranquil place but also I could plainly see the destination and that I would have to backtrack a fair way because it was too cold to swim!
It took a bit of effort to get there with dry feet but absolutely wonderful to be immersed in this gorgeous place. The cache was not hard to find but it is a very damp environment. I've found that although this hardware is made for water it is not waterproof unless thread tape is used so it needs to be protected some how. I added another bit of paper and removed the original wet spongey log which you couldn't read anyway. I didn't have a plastic bag small enough but I changed the slope of the "roof" to hopefully keep direct rain off it.
The dead tree is still standing strong and should last for years yet!
I decided to walk back up to the falls on this side of the creek which would have been a great way to come down!
Thanks Thorny Devil, favourite point for my 399th Unknown Geocache!

Sunday. The SPs were up this way with a specific cache in mind. This was the one! Wow, what a drama we made this one! Between the two of us though and after a fair bit of watching where we were going, we eventually made to about 50m from GZ and then we needed to make a decision on which way we would tackle to get to the prize. Lots of toing and froing and eventually it was the Mrs part of Slow Puncture who continued the dash and found the cache. We actually had taken with us a new log book to replace the old one. After reading the previous logs we had intended to replace the soaked log with a new one. We realised after we had set off to get to this cache, that we’d left the replacement logs behind! Sorry, CO [B)] We found the cache quite quickly though which was great. The old log is totally soggy and the new log is also wet, but my pen managed to write our Slow Puncture name onto the bottom of the piece of paper that Konie had left behind. This cache helps us complete a challenge we were after!
This was the 3rd of 3 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Thorny_Devil***, for showing us this place. Beautiful place and journey to the final.

We noticed this cache had a D/T combination which would help complete our next loop so we decided to make a trip up this way to see if our eagle eyes were good enough. Well we went to the listed co-ordinates but had absolutely no luck in spotting anything useful Just as well there was some very useful information available to guide us on a walk down to the creek and hopefully to the cache location [^]
As we got closer to the creek, we identified a likely location for ground zero but we just needed to get across the creek ... with that done, it didn't take us long to locate the cache and add our name to the now soggy piece of paper left by Konie. Unfortunately we were not able to do maintenance for the cache owner.
Thank you Thorny_Devil for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Found @1240 hrs
Konie took to the high ground armed my my trusty binoculars and plotted our route for this cache.
So with a lot of huffing and Puffing and taking my time to watch where I placed my crook foot., following Konies lead, we eventually found our self at GZ and quickly spotted the little sucker.
Unfortunately the log was saturated and was just mush. Luckily Konie found a small piece of paper and we used that as our log. (Check Konie's log photo)
Once log was signed we headed back out to our geowagon waiting patiently by the road side.

thanks previous geocacher for leaving a piece of paper for a log. I will get to it in due time. in the meantime if anyone has a larger piece of paper to donate that would be godly.
I'd passed by this one the other day but didn't see what I needed so today I returned with Mr Wesso and the right equipment for the job. Once at the right spot I was amazed at how close everything was and the object I needed was right there! So before heading off I used another piece of kit and gathered a bit more intel and we both headed down towards GZ.
The going wasn't too bad and we took our time and soon found ourselves in a spot where I was able to once again see the object we were after. We soon zeroed in on the right spot and the cache was soon in hand.[^]
Unfortunately the log was soaked and couldn't be written on so I wrote our names on a piece of paper and stuck that in there. A little bit of TLC will be needed for this one as we didn't have a spare log with us.
Once the log was signed the cache was returned as found.

Out for a Sunday drive to the Yandina area with IolantheK and Brother Colin [^]
Rather a hot day for caching but we finished up by cooling off at Wappa Falls
Bit of a more direct path to the final where BC made the find [^]

This morning IolantheK and I headed out to find a cache or two before meeting up with T-tech. Now the three of us headed north to find a few more caches and go for a swim.
This region suited us well.
With an interest D/T combo this one was on the 'to do' list. With the bright sunshine we could not see the tree in question but headed down the hill anyway.
After some searching we eventually found the cache nicely tucked away.
Thanks for the cache.

Today T-Tech, Brother Colin and I went to the Sunshine Coast to do some caching and have a swim [^]
BC was keen to get this one as he liked the D/T rating. We headed up to the WP but couldn't see the tree, but decided there was sufficient info on the cache page to make a search possible so headed to the right general area, and the fellas made the find while I was still crossing over TFTC, Thorny_Devil.

So I was looking for a cache particuarly with a difficulty of Terrain 4.5. And I must find it on a Thursday apparently (so Orange Crew's [Challenge](https://coord.info/GC7HA9D) states)
I was in the area for work and decided to drop into this one to see if I can see about getting it. So I decided to try and do this cache properly. Made my way to the post co-ords. Spotted me a tree that fitted the bill. Hmmm.
Rather than go the direct route, I went the route I knew. I'm not sure this saved any time at all - but better the devil you know. I got near where I thought the tree was and could not find it. I went higher and higher to try and spot it again. There it is! Ah....
So yes I am going to be deliberately vague - which really kills me. Because me getting to GZ was a story in itself. I was one very happy lad to approach that tree - and I soon found me a cache. I eventually got the beast open and signed the log.
I got back to my track eventually and got back to the car - feeling very chuffed with myself.
This cache was fun, challenging, and different. A great little area. An easy favourite point from me. TFTC Thorny Devil_Devil

Well this was fun! A rather clever idea, something out of the box.
We went to the location and spotted where we needed to head to. Wandered down the hill and then over some obstacles and around some others and before long we had arrived at the right spot and discovered the cache.
I enjoyed this one so I've given it a Favorite point.

This cache popped up on my radar a week ago, it has a rather nice DT. Today I was joined by a couple of friends, after getting our eyes eagled a short skip down the hill later and we had arrived at the dead tree. The beasty was then located quickly. We left some scribble and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Thorny Devil

This was fun. We leap frogged this. We kept our eyes on other trees that lined up with this one. I sent CDAH55 ahead to the next tree that lined up with this one, then he would stay there and I would go ahead, until we got to the cache. This cache completes my 3rd loop. A favorite point for doing something different.
Dora the Explorer! needed this cache to complete her third D/T loop and it is also a cache that I needed for my second loop. I still have a few to go though.
I agreed to meet Dora the Explorer! nearby after work. When arriving at the posted coordinates we spotted the object that we needed to navigate to. Keeping an eye on the line required and hiking to a point to mark it for the other to walk to and leapfrog to the next point.
We made to the required object and soon enough had the cache.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced as found.
All is good with this cache.

Ahh too sunny a day to stay home and laze about [?]. Yes so this cache was my target . I told Mrs.K that it was time to go birding She got her Binos and it wasn't long before we were parked half way between the start and the final co ords that I had worked out last night, which way to go [?] Mrs.k made the decision as she was checking out in that direction and I followed her - bird sighted and identified so we then continued to the cache location guided by the iPhone's arrow, checked a couple of spots on the way but no luck so had to continue all the way to the said GZ, a short search and the cache container was located.

Well, I heard seirra1 chatting to someone on the phone who turned out to be a fellow geocacher and shortly afterwards he came to ask me if I wanted to go and grab a newly published cache. Off we went not quite knowing what to expect. We arrived and looked around a bit and set of in the direction we thought was going to be the best way to the cache location. After lots walking and waiting at the wait-a-while vines and wondering where we were going wrong, plus some trial and error, we finally made it to GZ and spotted something that helped us locate the cache. Seirra1 made the find and we signed the cache Thanks for the adventure (awarding a favourite point for this) and the cache Thorny_Devil.
*FTF * at 4.42 pm with Us3scouts. Had a call from a fellow cacher that there was a new cache out close to home and we thought why not. Arrived at the posted coordinate and had a look. There is where we need to go. Typically we took the hard road in and totally bypassed GZ. Has to be here somewhere. After wandering back and forth and looking up and occasionally "waiting -a-while" found what we were looking for, the cache location. Sneaky hide Thorny_Devil. TFTC. A favorite for the adventure.
