We have a nice new container ready to go. Will replace very soon on an upcoming maintenance run to this area.
Couldn't find this one, despite a really good look around. pretty positive on the only relevant spot near GZ, and it's soemwhat revealing now, and very empty. next time.
Found the tree but could not find the cache - maybe the cache owner needs to replace
98% sure we have the cache location but no Blinky to be seen. Has he been Koala-napped?
I has just passed some muggles hunting koalas. Should I tell them where they can find one.
No trouble finding this little one.
No trouble finding this little one.
1MinnieMoo and I rolled on up to this one next - one of the few in the area I had not done.
We weaved our way through the paths before we arrived at a likely GZ. Soo umm.. should we buy this little fellow lunch before extracting the log.. or....?
We signed the log and rehid the cache as found. Another clever and apt geocaching container from Team Herbz. TFTC

29/5/21 Find #4821
Having attended Captain Terror’s Quarterly Cleanup #2 this morning, followed by a coffee with some of the attendees, Fangsoki, Pprime and I then headed here to complete Herbz’ HNT trail.
Pprime had been called away to another engagement, so we said farewell to him at the previous cache and moved our car over to the nearer parking location for these last couple of caches to be found.
A short wander around and Blinky was quickly spotted. With log signed, we backtracked and made our way around to our final cache for today.
Thanks for the cache Herbz.

We found it. we thought we had to jump across the stream to find it and while we were walking around we found a dead kangaroo
A cruisy Sunday, so decided for a cruise to the coast. She finally has a username here, so "plus one" and "muggle friend" shall be henceforth referred to as graceygirl1234. Unless she changes it. Either way, after too long since we last went on an adventure, decided on a little picnic at Southport. When we were done there, had found another geocache and decided against a Lime bike ride, we headed towards home.
But along the drive I recalled this newer offering in the Coombabah Wetlands that required my attention. Partly because Herbz, partly because my map is currently soiled! Detour required!
Parking up at the entrance, I was first distracted by the mob of roos on the south side of the road. Too far for photos, we headed in along the most direct trail, chatting. I failed to pay close enough attention to the map, and looked down to check our location as Herbz on bikes pulled up in front of us. Whoa, good timing!
With a quick introduction, it was learned they were maintaining hides, and this was next for them. Right, we're a foursome now! Down the little trail, and a short jaunt off the track for a quick find. Of course, the 'modifications' are very 'Herbz' here. And all in perfect condition. Names in logbook, slight re-decorating for cover and we're outta here.
Not too soon either as the mosquitoes by now had found us (or at least the two of us not sporting bug repellant) and found us in great quantity. Thank you again Herbz for a fun geocache and always great to have a chat

Went for a little trip down to the Spit for a picnic with Captain Terror. Decided to collect this cache on the way home and was the mosquitos favourite treat for the afternoon & saw some roos relaxing in the sun. We met the creators of this cache on the way to our find as they were doing maintenance, what a coincidence! TFTC!
On a weekend walk around Coombabah reserve, I decided to find all these caches again.
I found Blinky, all was well with the cache and log.

Today is the day I’m introducing a friend to caching... and I thought this series would be an awesome introduction... this was the actual first find for Jedry and I... tftc... cute container...
Love it! Found under the watchful eye of some local Roos. Found with Smith_Rayne and BigKez
Tftc. Great hiding spot. I run over some spider webs and put some more log to cover it.
Another good find with a youth work client. He had fun searching through the trees to find this one
G.C met Blinky today and took a happy snap with a fellow marsupial in the background
A nice little walk out here while on a relaxing walk
Cute little fella thanks Herbz

This one was tough! We wandered around thinking it was on a main path and then ended up getting lost, crossing a couple creeks and walking through dense trees but we prevailed in the end, and found the path were supposed to walk in the beginning. Awesome hiding spots!
Nice little find amongst the trees. Lots of mosquitos and some cane toads but a good find
Visiting from Melbourne to spend Christmas with the family. The sister in law suggested taking the 8, 10 & 13 boys on a caching adventure. A search of the geo map revealed the caches in the reserve here would be suitable for the age group. This is a beautiful park. TFTC
This cache had a couple of Kangaroos guarding it. They're so tame around here. These two were a bit warm I think, with temps in the mid 30's today. As I got closer they moved out of the way and I was able to find this cure little cache. Loved it! Thanks Herbz!
We are out and about today, a morning filled with adventures at the Mount Tambourine Adventure park. We decided to drop in and do some caching after dropping a friendly American traveller off on the Gold coast. The walk here is beautiful, however there were a few mozzies trying to eat us!
He's blinky bill. His whole life's a thrill. We didn't spot any real blinkies but found the cache quickly. Tftc!
There were lots of muggles about but I don't think they'll tell anyone what they saw. Tftc
Found this one today while on a bike ride, enjoying watching the kangaroos and the beautiful Lakelands. Easy and fun cache!
Crossed the border for a pillow fight today. Also met up with Wayn0 to do a bit of caching. This was the chosen location to meet.
What a great little area. Whilst I could still hear the buzz of traffic and the odd helicopter or light aircraft, it was relatively peaceful.
This is a brilliant series. Thank you for placing and maintaining it so people like myself can enjoy the location and the caches.
I was pretty excited to see one of these for real shortly after finding the cache.

Thanks for the cache. In the area with No Tomorrow and some time to spare so it was decided to explore this beautiful area and work on the HNT.
Cheers

Decided to check all the caches in Coombabah Lakelands today.
Blinky Bill 2 was present, and the log book was present and fine. Actually if the cache had not mentioned it was Blinky Bill 2, I would not have noticed any difference to Blinky Bill 1.

It gave us a real fright when we spotted it !! Hilarious!! The kangaroos were having a drink at the river - so lovely very scenic
While staying in Surfers Paradise with our caravan in order to visit with our niece and her family while they are holidaying on the Gold Coast from Adelaide we still found time to do this series of caches. A lovely selection of hides. Fav point alloc. Thankyou Herbz for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
Nice quick easy find here.
TFTC Herbz. I love finding your caches. Always a favorite!

Enjoying a lovely walk with my muggle daughter and 2 year old granddaughter. Actually mostly a lovely "carry" for my granddaughter - mostly the only time she'd walk was when we had to go off the trail to look for a cache. Loved seeing all the kangaroos.
We managed to get 6 caches done and they were all great hides and in good condition.

It has been such a long time since the planets have aligned to allow Mrs Just a Trifle, barbbowman and Raynersinoz time to go out to play for a day, so when the opportunity arose, who could say no to a day of fun We had a great time, finding some interesting caches and wandering around some peaceful bush land paths.
Thank you Herbz for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy
