Found. I was going for a walk while I waited to catch up with friends, only got as far as this one and got the call that they were on their way, so this was the only one I picked up here after all. Quick find once I got to GZ. TFTC
Flew in from the hills with catnap777 to swoop down and scoop up a few caches including this one found quickly from accurate coords. We were chased out of the Southern Warbies by planned burnoffs, so our plan B involved hitting up Wangaratta for a feed and a cache or 3 before heading back into the Northern end of the ranges to have a go at the nightcaches there unaffected by Parks' Autumn burn schedule. Thanks Team BGF for a well researched little series with this simple P&G found high and dry safe and sound despite its recent DNFs. [^]
Love the story of Lores Bonney Love what you learn by geocaching. Thanks for the story and the cache Team BGFregardskbucky
This cache was the last for the alphabet challenge caches l needed. This was one of my missions for my trip away.
Overnighting in town before heading further north and had time for a few caches before moving on, with this being my next one.
Parked at the logical spot and headed across the bridge. A quick and my name was soon in the log book. Cache replaced and I was soon on my way for one more.
Thanks Team BGF....cache all good.

By far the easiest of the three. Found at night with caching partner CassMar184.
3rd cache found in thus cute mini series. Was concerned when I found the cache after recent flooding but logbook is still in great condition.
A quick find on a beautiful afternoon, log signed and cache returned as found.TFTC
Getting out of the house with the geokids, a nice quick easy find for them under the watchful eye of the nearby Kangaroo mob TFTC
On a little night caching adventure with the GeoKids and our niece. This was an easy find! TFTC
What an incredible woman this cache commemorates! I doubt she’d choose to fly in today’s miserable weather. The drain was very full of water, so I was pleased there was a bridge nearby to cross to the correct side for the cache. Then a rather wet plunge through the branches to the prize.
A new day a new adventure, loving caching in the area! Sadly have to work tomorrow so making the most of today. Weather seems to hold and looking better than yesterday. A few more in the Rutherglen area and visiting all the wineries before starting the long drive home.

Exploring around Rutherglen with Wicky. She's not great on road trips, so plenty of cache stops to break things up. Thanks for placing this cache!
Cheers

Thanks Team BGF, found with ConnieandRick on the way home from a pre-MEGA trip to Rutherglen.
Checked into the local digs history up the road, then set out to find as many caches as I could until the sun started setting. This wax the first. Tftc.
A quick and easy find with Sebass19 on the way to the MEGA. Signed dsd or darksidedan or AB or Adventure Boys to save space in the logbook. Thanks for the cache and the Adventure.

This is certainly rich in history. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Team BGF for the cache.
Was on the hunt for my 1000th cache and these three happened to be nice and suitable for numbers 994, 995 and 996 before I went to the Warbys. This was the third one for the day. Thanks for putting these out and loved learning the new info and seeing the kangaroos nearby
Thanks for this hide Team BGF and for your care looking after them for us to enjoy.

Found at 10:57 am.
Well, the Mega time has come and we aren't locked down so today was the day to get 14 different types of cache. Today was our final day to find a couple of local caches and then start heading home with a fair few stops along the way.
While here looking for a puzzle we also were going past these and with a few favourite points on some of them it was worth it for a challenge we are working on.
Thanks Team BGF for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

A nice quick find here today cache and contents are all good
After heading to tassie for almost 3 weeks, we detoured to Wangaratta for the Victorian Mega to catch up with some friends that we hadn’t seen for months if not years. We caught up with Freddo and e.gregory1 for the duration of the weekend, travelling around the local areas finding many of the caches that were on offer. To save room in the log books we signed as FEG or FEGC.
A wonderful area and nice to have a look around in somewhere I had only visited for 20mins before.
Thanks for the cache

End of a long day for Ghostgums and I as we did a return trip to Wagga for some rare icons and labs. Back in town and with a little light left before dinner, we grabbed a couple along here.
It took a while to spot this one but persistance paid off and we tracked it down and added our names to the log.
Cheers Team BGF.

Found while attending the 2022 Mega event at Wangaratta.
I drove across from Adelaide with Freddo. We took a week to get there and back as we meandered our way around northern Victoria, camping mostly along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks.
While at the Mega we teamed up with gridge98 & Co. Most logs were signed FEGC (ie Freddo, e.gregory1 and gridge98 & Co).
We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other random caches opportunistically as we were passing. Most of the puzzle caches were solved prior to leaving Adelaide in preparation for the trip.
Although we managed to find a lot of caches over the weekend, we really only barely scratched the surface, leaving plenty of excuses to return to the area another time. I'm sure I'll be back.
Thanks Team BGF for the cache.

Found on mega weekend. One of a bunch of caches found and logged.
e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

In Wangaratta for the mega event this weekend, and today, we ventured out to do a few family friendly caches. This was a nice quick roadside stop, but with the channel in between the road and the path, we parked the car and enjoyed the stroll in between each one.

So excited to be attending my first MEGA and to be out and about after what seems like ages. Have been working very long hours for the past few months on the pandemic front so to have a few days for caching seems like an absolute luxury. ??
Great to meet new faces and to spend caching time with some familiar cachers as well.
Thanks to Team BGF for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment! ??

Spending the day around Wangaratta after visiting the main event and maze. Thank you to all the CO's who have placed and maintained around the city. It is appreciated!
Out and about around Wangaratta, while visiting for the Mega Event. Enjoyed going around finding the caches in their locations. Thanks for bringing me to this location. TFTC.
Wangaratta Mega trip Day 3. It has taken quite some time to get this trip going so it is a great feeling to be on the road for a great weekend away with great caching with friends and new friends. Today was the first day of the Mega itself, and started with the events of the day. The Maze was a great experience. There were 20 Gadget Labs to be solved, some quite a challenge. After lunch I headed out with Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK to get to as many cache type in a day as we could without going to Mt Buller for a Webcam cache. The day ended with the Community dinner which was an amazing bonus to be provided to the Mega.
Thanks for the cache Team BGF

Out and about around Wangaratta checking out a cache or 2 with buhfuhguh before the Mega tomorrow.
We had a few solved puzzles in the area so they were next on the hit list along with any multi’s we came across.
While heading over to check out GZ for the multi, I collected this one on the way.

After organizing some time off to allow us to attend the Wangaratta Mega we are in town for an extended period.
Looking forward attending the various activities organized during the Mega period as well as finding a variety of different caches during our time here while catching up with caching friends we have met over the years.
The weather has been hot for us Gippslanders, but very humid as well.
Our thanks to the Mega committee for the enormous amount of effort that has gone into organizing the event and to the local cachers for their placements

Great to have finally made it to Wangaratta and The Mega… once cancelled and twice…. Well let’s just say it’s a relief to have made it! Phew!
At the last minute The Welder and I changed our accomodation plans from camping to a motel and boy are we lucky we did. Wangaratta has certainly put on an incredible night show of fork lightening, thunder and rain. After collecting this cache, we sat in the car and watched the incredible show dazzling in front of us. Even the kangaroos stood upright watching the flicker and the flash, as the sky was lit like daylight and the all was dark again.
Thanks for the cache, all is well here.
Note to self cache from 1202-1211 was Maze Lab Cache
