On my way from Melbourne Airport to Beechworth I'm taking the long route as I have a lot of caches that I want to find on the way. This was one of them. After parking at GZ, I looked around, poked and prodded, touched and wiggled. I was about to give up when I decided to explore one extra thing and the cache was found. No wonder it gets favourite points. Thanks for the cache. Another favourite point is coming your way.
I wasnt going to stop for another cache just yet as Im heading back to South Oz, but I was curious about all the this cache has and I wasnt disappointed. Something so simple but so clever.TFTC Team BoomajarrilKeep smiling
Out on my bday doing some caches came across this one.. it took us a Lil bit to get to this one as it was in amongst the spitfires and creepy crawlies got there in the end tftc
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 184Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133Happy International Geocaching Day 2024. Despite the terrible weather today, we are out finding caches, as is tradition on this special day. Always lots of laughs and fun when out with Rebel Acts. This is one of the caches we found today. Cheers for the cache!
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Nice hide. FAVThanks Team Boomajarril for the cache.
This took a little while to find but when i saw odd thing out i located the sneaky hide. Well done TFTC. Clever.
Had me looking for a little while then started to look for something out of place not long until i had the cache in my hand very clever well done TFTC
Obvious but not so obvious ! Geocaching is clearly not fun under the rain TFTC from
Checked cache, found cache and log on ground. Replaced back in it's hide. Set to go again.
DNF - we found the cache but there is no log book present to sign. Would still like to claim this as found but not sure if we could. Will let CO know what we have found here.TFTC
Third stop on a quiet run to complete another date on my caching calendar. Thanks for your direction Team Boomajarril. I thought I knew exactly where it was... I was wrong, and got a scare in the form of a riled huntsman At least your hint had my search more focused and I soon uncovered the tricky hide. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC and the resolved frustration
I had no luck finding this one today. I searched high and low, attempted to move or wiggle many items but no cache. I found myself rather in need of a public facility so went in to Wallan. Determined to crack this mystery I stopped again on my way back but still no luck. TFTC and info anyway.
Out and about with Echidna44, who kindly stopped for me to find this cache, as she had already done it. This is a very clever hide, which would have flummoxed me in earlier days, but having a bit more caching experience, I knew exactly where to look. Brilliant.
Found it!Don't you just love geocaching on a cold day on your road trip to the act. Today I'm setting out on a trip to the act taking us into cool new geocaches & places and ya never know mabye we will meet some new friends. Another Parkrun/Geocaching expedition on a cold Saturday morning for us exploring the Lancefeild and Romsy area, a place we often travelthroughbut have never spent the time to explore.
Now that was a tricky one, finding something i was convinced was the cache container minus a log, i was about to declare it as damaged just as Mrs 4wd produced the actual cache from the opposite to where I was standing dumbfounded, clever hide tftc

Favourite point for this one. This one took me a bit. Also had to swap into what doesn't belong mode!!
I approached GZ and started my systematic search...around i went...ohh lol...l wasn't expecting that..nice hide.
I think it must have been lovely travelling to Sydney along this road....perhaps in a horse and buggy? Mind you it would be no good these days if you were in a hurry to catch a flight! Loved the hide and gets a favourite from me. TFTC
Probably not a 3 difficulty but definitely a fave. Went around poking and prodding for a while before I moved into “what doesn’t belong?” Mode. Soon had it in hand and signed. Great spot and story

Find No. 4049. Found with FUF009 at 7.45pm
A day trip to Whittlesea to explore the area and grab as many caches as time permitted.
FUF009 came with us.
We spent the full day caching around the Whittlesea area. Now heading for home.
Another cache close to the road we were travelling on. Have we got time to stop and get it?
May as well have a look was the reply.
At this one we were looking all over the place but not coming up with anything. About to give up on it when all of a sudden it was Mr Tyred n Cranky who found this neat hide. Very well done. As we were impressed with the way this was hidden we are giving it a favourite point.

Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A day of the long weekend down in Whittlesea.
Heading home after gathering a lot of caches, one more wouldn't hurt right....
A relative quick find by Mr Tyred n Cranky... he is getting to like the tougher hides.

Found cache and log signed with dalerious .
We had just completed a huge day at Mt Disappointment signing Challenge caches.
There was one in particular I wanted to qualify for, but I needed 6 Caravan attributes. I quickly went to work making up a list for a quick drive by onslaught of trads that fitted the bill .
Thank you Team Boomajarril for a very clever and well camoed container which was found in good condition.

Targeted this one due to the date it was hidden. Pleasantly surprised and a fave point. Like a previous hide, looked for something out of place. Well done and TFTC. SL at 15:30pm.
Found after a little hunt. Stood up on the embankment and looked down over GZ and there it was, something not quite right and then. Cache in hand. What a great little hiding place.
Took longer than expected to find this cache. Searched one item only to realise it wasn’t the cache then we spotted something else and then had the clever cache in hand.
Thanks Team Boomajarril for the well constructed placement. A favourite added.

On our way to whittlesea we stopped to grab this cache, we got lucky and didn’t take too long before we had the prize in hand, a very clever hide, thanks for placing it
Well it wasn’t what I expected it to be!
Found on my 2nd attempt, I suspected this earlier in the search but didn’t try hard enough.
Then, admittedly because I was getting a bit frustrated, I was pulling around random things and I found it! The log fell but I signed it and now is back as found!
This is a very clever and well made cache!
Photo- a cluster of spitfires on the branch nearby!
Thanks for the cache!

Going for a cruise while the kids are asleep in the back, great little hide! I expected more spiders but nice and clean!
Following on from the find on the hill, not far down the road, +Wife and I soon had this clever cache in hand.

I have driven home through Woodend to Wallan via Romsey many times... but usually so late in the day that it is too late to spend time caching. Today was a bit different... after spending the morning chasing a Multi near Woodend followed by a late lunch there, I had lots of time on my hands... so there were lots of stops on my way to Wallan!
Almost in Wallan... and with plenty of stops along the way... it was now getting late and the light was going. This was my last cache for the day... and it took a little while as it is so cleverly hidden. Eventually I noticed a difference... which on investigation, revealed the cache.
Thanks **Team Boomajarril** for putting this cleverly made cache here. Definitely worth another Favourite Point.

Bunadoorian and I were up this way visiting family and had some time up our sleeves. This cache had us a little stumped for a while. We had looked at most things and extended our search around the area a little. I started reading previous logs when we had an idea - and Bunadoorian soon had the cache in hand. What a great cache. A favourite point from me. TFTC and for bringing us here - Team Boomajarril.
Grub62 and I were in the area and this looked to be a deserving cache for my 3333rd find. When we arrived at GZ a bit of searching was done with not a lot of luck until I decided to extend the search area a bit. After having read a few of the previous logs and looking carefully at what was a bit different in the new search area. I came across a suspiciously different site and sure enough the cache was in hand. Well done Team Boomajarril for a very clever cache. 1 well earned favorite point allocated. TFTC.
TFTC, last cache of the day. Really nice camo, but was the first place we looked, but we had found similar ones before but really cool! Thanks for the great effort!
Day #18 and the final day of the MEGA road trip. I decided it was finally time to head home. After packing up camp before the sun rose above the shade of the trees, I set off, making a couple of detours on the way home.
Just one more cache I said! I needed a couple of caches in Mitchell shire so I dropped in to this one. Fortunately I had picked the right time of day being the first day back at school! I began the search initially with nothing coming up before I noticed something odd. Sure enough it was the very cleverly hidden cache!
This is definitely worthy of a favourite point as some clever craftsmanship has gone into the camo of this one.
Thanks Team Boomajarril for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

#4776 A nice tricky hide that took a few minutes to locate. Initially was interrogating the wrong area thinking uh oh this cache might be broken, but alas continued searching a bit further along and voila the cool hide was located in tip top condition. TFTC Team Boomajarril, left a FP for the creativity and execution here.
One of the hardest ones we’ve come across so far , got it on the third visit after reading all the comments , great hide

At about 4 pm this was another busy road to be searching for a cache. After finding the huntsman spider and searching for possible hiding places I spotted something odd. On investigation I found I was holding the container and could sign the log. A well constructed hiding place. Thanks to Team Boomajarril for the cache
Dispatched spider, checked cache is in correct spot which it was, ready to go again.
OMG, I don't know who was more scared of who, me or the resident huntsman . Great hide however and log signed and replaced. Thanks Team Boomajarril. Took the TB.
Clever hide, and quick find. Fav for the smarts in construction. Jammed the bug into the available space. T4TC.
TFTC. Found with a few decent sized resident spiders, but otherwise great hide. Signed log
This cache was the first for an epic day of finds in the region. We started here at 7:20am with the brisk morning air. We spotted the odd thing out and with a little wiggle were able to access the goods. TFTC
With GallivantingGleesons. Out for the day caching.

Final cache the day and what a beauty this one is! We had the wrong idea for the hide when we read the description and so wasted a bit of time trying that - but then when we came across the actual hiding spot it was just too good to leave alone. Nice work
Thanks Team Boomajarril.

That was a very cool hide. It was also an enjoyable drive getting there along the dirt road. TFTC
Well done with this hide! Was fun to find and lucky for us the huntsman wasn't home
Mt Macedon was the choice location today as it provided some varied DT squares plus some information I needed for a further cache. Spiffy was enlisted and we packed varying tools even though they were not required. Dropped my geopartner at work and off we went.
Parked the car to a lot of screaming which turned out t o be Spiffy- who found the cache and the surprise huntsman guarding it. I was left to sign the log while he focused on calming his heart rate. Great cammo.

It's been a little while since Fleabag- and I have had a short road trip and today was the day since I didn't need to be watching horses run around at the Melbourne Cup. We headed out of the city up to Mt Macedon and surrounds to find a couple of specific caches and then free style some one the way home.
After getting our main caches for the time we still had a little spare time and we were in the area so drove around town looking for all the caches that were here and were successful as well.
With a lot of favourite points and a higher difficulty we definitely stopped here. Awesome cache but the huntsmen on it when I picked it up scared the hell out of me. I left Fleabag- to do the signing and replacing. A favourite from me.
Thanks Team Boomajarril for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I was in the area today at a workshop on weed control. I of course had to make some detours on the way home, at Beckingsale Reserve for wildflowers and here for a great cache! I figured out where it was immediately, but ended up chasing some red herrings because it was too well done and I had decided that wasn’t it! A great cache, thanks!

Interesting to think that this was the old road between Melbourne and Sydney. Very different today. The cache had us looking and felt that it had been muggled also. A bit more of a look and after a ah-ha moment we had the cache. Nice hide.

We found this one today after we had collected a couple of caches on the Hume and a letter box in Wandong. We decided that we may collect a few more during the day as we made our way home via Wallan. This one had us thinking that it had been mugged and then the inspector said that does not look right and sure enough it was the cache. Log was duly signed and cache rehidden. Log sheet is chockers now. My name was the last one that could be properly fitted on there. I was going to replace it but due to its size and the CO might want to keep the original log I didn't change anything.
Found @11:13 am after a brief search. I poked, prodded, twisted and turned and then something caught my eye and I knew it had to be it. An absolute favourite for me! TFTC!
