This geocache has been taken too many times and I now that I moved away from thirroul I don’t come down that way any more and I can’t fix it up that often. I might make another geocache closer like this.
This geocache keeps on needing maintenance and I moved so I live far away from this cache so I will fix it soon
Found geocache hiding spot but no log book in sight. Might need maintenance? Well send private msg.
Whoops! Forgot to mark this as 'found' last week. Log signed and placed back into safety!
cute man, we love finding hidden parks. we put this lil one back safe and sound in his home.
We have travelled down from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to the Wollongong area for the April school holidays, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park. Today we headed up to Austinmer to visit some antique & 2nd hand stores, and to collect a variety of caches along the route. This was our 1st find of the day, and 110th find of the holiday.
Our first cache stop was at this one, parking the geomobile on the street above the cache, then heading down the grassy slope to GZ. Quickly spotted the hide, then engaged higher terrain mode to have CIH. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. It's a cute camo on this one. TFTC AWESOMEBATMAN123.

Awesome cache will definitely visit this place again! P.S. there are spoilers in the photo!
I found it but couldn’t sign it. Just out of reach, I was by myself and I didn’t want to injury my self I will send a photo to owner.
This was quite challenging as there muggles and the little once playing. However they were far too busy to doing what they were doing to notice. Quick retrieval and on our way we were. TFTC us.
This took a while to spot, as the compass was taking me back and forth...AND I felt quite exposed with that house looking down on me. Eventually spotted and very much appreciate the effort gone into it. fave point awarded. TFTC
A quick after lunch and ice cream at Gateway find. But retrieval took a littlemlonger!?!
TFTC.

A quick find in a nice street/ suburb. Don't seem to get out to the northern suburbs much these days. TFTC!
Having grown up in Thirroul, this park isn't much of a secret to me. I'll give the cache a favourite point, well executed.
Cheers

I was able to have a day away from the place of employment so I thought I'd head out and grab a few caches. As luck would have it I targeted a few hotspots and quickly watched my numbers climb for the day.
This was my first find for the day, in a park that has already seen a cache or 2.
Thanks to all the CO's for the finds today

Day 2 of Yours and Owls Festival. I had some time to kill in the morning so I picked off the remaining standard caches in the area.
Once I was at this secret park, it didn't take long to locate the hide. Coordinates were good enough, I just needed to adjust my view. Thanks for the cache!

We were in the area today and I had this one in my sights. Nice little park and excellent views from here. The hint had me looking in the right direction and I spotted same as we entered the park. Something different in the way of hides. Well done. We signed the log and returned it to its place. TFTC AWESOMEBATMAN 123.
After visiting grandchildren in Bulli we found this lovely hidden park. Good hide TFTC AWESOMEBATMAN123
Second time lucky.
This time the container was there so a quick find was made.
Saw the black rabbit nearby again too.
Looks like a feral rather than a pet. Fast too.

Off we go for another geomission! fitzy_1965, AngelG27 and I were off in the geomover to descend on the Illawarra region to knock off the Helensburgh puzzle series and whatever others we could nab along the way. Sunny spring weather and lots of laughs made for a fun weekend of caching!
Looked around a few spots at first before I looked up at something else and made the cute find
Thanks for the hide, AWESOMEBATMAN123

14564. Found during a great weekend caching down in the Helensburgh / Wollongong region with specimenX and AngelG27.
A long planned weekend was finally here. An early morning departure from Canberra soon had us hitting the caches. After finishing the Scout and the Helensburgh puzzle series, we headed south cherry-picking some nice caches gradually getting closer and closer to our digs for the night. This was the next stop. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and we were on our way to the next one.
Thanks to all the CO's for their caches - very much appreciated !!

Fitzy_1965, SpecimenX and I headed out on a long planned geomission to Helensburgh and Wollongong to grab a stack of solved puzzles and as-yet-uncollected traditionals. We headed up the highway from the ACT to Appin, then down the hill to Helensburgh and then made our way south. We have around 160 caches on the list, but if we grab 100 over the two days, that would be fine, especially since I have a terrible head cold! Unless otherwise indicated, caches were found quickly and in good order. Thanks to my geo partners in crime for a fun weekend

Sadly the Geocache was missing so I threw something together and put it back where it was meant to be.
Please remember to FIRMLY stick the geocache back to its spot. Someone most of put it on lightly and as a result the
wind blew it away.
I have made a temporary container and I will be fixing this geocache on Monday. This geocache is still findable so if anyone wants to do it on the weekend then it will be fine.

Bad day today, 2 looks and 2 DNFs.
Found where this one should be but no container or log to sign. Looked all around the area in case the wind had moved it but to no avail.
Found an old tennis ball so put it where the container should be, looks fitting.

Ah, a new geocache in Thirroul. Looks interesting. Called in for a quick find after dinner and was impressed with container. Almost too real. TFTC! Definitely earns a favourite point.
Easy find as it was on the ground in the open. Tried to reattach but the sticky stuff has lost its stickyness. One good shower and the cache will be gone.

Just checked the geocache and thanks for letting me know that it did need to have Maintenance. I have ordered a new container and thought of some new ideas that will make the geocache stay in that spot. I also went down there and reattached the geocache so it will stay.
Clever cache idea! My GPS had me circling for a bit with the cloud cover and trees. Finally spied it, retrieved it, signed it and replaced it. I felt like I was in someone's back yard instead of a park! Still, it's definitely a secret little park! TFTC!

This is a new one in my area... why not make the find... very cute.. but logs may need a container within the container, so they don't get waterlogged

Out and about collecting points for the final week of the Mary Hyde Challenge, had more than enough as I turned for home but as I’d be passing this new hide, figured I may as well detour and add it too. Spotted quickly and after a few minutes working out logistics, 3TF log was signed and carefully returned. Pretty good hide for your first one!
This was indeed a surprise. Great little cache, very clever and well made.
The park is a great setting for this cache. Well done. TFTC
