As asked by private message with no response, is there any news on the maintenance of this cache and when it is coming back online?

It needs maintenance

If I interpreted the hint correctly and Velcro was used to attach the container I'm afraid it's muggled.

04-Apr-18
Had a good look and understood the clue but couldn’t find the container. This I found the gz but the cache wasn’t their. May want to give this a checkup as I had a good look and the most recent log was a dnf

Believe we had the right spot but it seems to be gone.

27-Jan-18
It looks like it has been taken. Maybe muggled. I was looking for it with oxplot and we are quite sure we found the hiding spot.

Australiaday celebrations in Victoria park. It was crowded nand colorful here, very nice and fun.

A quick detour with Dino from the celebrations at the park to find this one. The original spot where it was till recently fixed did confuse us and we were ready to give up and believe it was gone but after another 2nd and 3rd look around we finally could spot the cache in its new position. Needs fixing though, this spot might be too obvoius in the longrun. Thanks for the Cache TheToothlessSleuths.

This was a pretty neat cache! The like the hint too, lead me straight to the cache but was also a bit different and cryptic how it was written.

Given the nature of the hide you wouldn't think the cache would last long here but it's been 5 months so far and no maintenance! So turns out the simple yet clever hides do work!

Thanks for the cache ToothlessSleuths, a high quality cache for your first hide

Not sure if it's still available. Pretty sure that we searched in the right area and possibly found the place where it was supposed to be, but no dice.

Found it on the way back to my accommodation in Sydney Uni. It was a relatively quick found in the dark. Thanks for bringing me here and TFTC! Greetings from Taiwan!

Not in the area often but was due to meet up with some mates at a nearby pub so got here early to try to grab the quick find.

Got to GZ after looking around the corner and immediately spotted the cache.

Got to commend you on the hide - it's secure and works really well - probs for putting a pencil in the cache as I clean forgot to bring my own.

Overall a really nice cache that showed me somewhere I'd never really been properly.

*FAVOURITE POINT AWARDED* (when I get some more)

Thanks again and look forward to finding some more of your caches!

#4599 (2 of 2 today)

Decided to get out before the rain, and dinner with the Geowife's Mothers Group - yep they're still meeting even though almost all the kids are in their 20's now!

Went for three - including a previous DNF. The DNF stayed as such, but the other two were nabbed.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parking - OK, about 200 metres away.
Walked to GZ - a few muggles about. Luckily the rain started coming down gently, but enough for one muggle nearby to go indoors.

Noticed something on approach but didn't check it. A quick look around though and I was back.
Ah, there it is.

Completed signing duties and replaced.

Time to head home - so I can go out again.

When I found this lovely little cache I had to have a BEX, a cup of tea and a good lie down. Where did this cache come from!

I dont usually post photos of cache itself but could not resist this one.

Last time I came here I was muggled away but this time the coast was clear. A nice location and favourite for sure.

The last person on the log is AussiePam so there must be a trend here.

G'day TheToothlessSleuths - toothless???? that's what living in Chippendale does to you, is it? Haha... I was reading about your fine new cache when I got a phone call from some family members who just happened, totally by chance, to be in Chippendale taking a well earned breather from changing nappies, so it seemed I was being steered in your general direction.

Having read the clues.. black white mate check.... I was looking for something a bit different to what I found. Nevertheless, I put my hand fairly rapidly on the cache - for which I thank you - and got a very good coffee and some techie nostalgia chit chat nearby. All in all, a very pleasant excursion. Chippendale is a great place.

First find in a long time-thanks for getting me back in it

This really shouldn't have been this hard but oh it was. My GPSr had me on the wrong side of the building and I couldn't for the life of me find either the 'diorama' referred to in the logs nor anything fitting the clue. FINALLY we rounded the corner, and it all fell into place. very cool cache, I'm awarding you a fave point. TFTC Smile

A nice and easy find

Not often does it happen that I get seven GCA caches and just two GC caches. Well today it happened while I made the area around Redfern and Broadway unsafe with my presence.

Found at the first place I looked, which was lucky because it was peak hour!

I came here a week or so ago, and there were two people, customers of the cafe, sitting on GZ. But today they cafe had just closed and I was free find the cache.
Thanks

Got here at the right time I think as it's too early for the bar to be busy. Nice hide! TFTC

14:50 eeeeeee nice hiding spot! The tiny pencil is cute and the window thing is ... current. As an added bonus, the St Benedicts church bells can be heard from here.

I didn't actually understand the hint until after finding the cache. Interesting hide and neat location. Might want to put some paint on the cache site to make the hint more of a hint.

Really cool little cache at an iconic Sydney bar. Very clever hint and cache placement method, a very creative idea! TFTC

8/09/17. 12:12 PM. Cache #5284.
2nd of 6 finds (& 1 DNF) - Barangaroo, Chippendale, Newtown, Petersham & Leichhardt.

I finished work early and decided to target a few caches in the Inner West that I hadn't gotten around to in the past few weeks. (Plus started with the virtual, "Ozymandias", after which I came here). The school of hard Knox is Notre Dame, I guess???

I started looking around the Knox St part of the intersection, checking out a few things that suited the dichromatic part of the hint, but I felt like I was being watched around here with muggles and a security camera close by. I decided to go around the corner and saw something even more apt, relieved that this area was a bit further from any muggles.

Based on a hunch, a quick peep and I had the cache in sight, and then with a little stealth had it in hand. I signed it and replaced it with no-one looking on and then headed back to the truck to head off to "Liberty Street Troll".

A different kind of hide and a little bit sneaky, worth a fave point. TFTC.

Took a little brain power but eventually found it. The hint wasn't that helpfull but still a nice easy cache

06-Sep-17
Grabbed this one on the cycle home this evening. What a really nice cache, this city is so full of the same type so something different is just great. And, although there were loads of muggles passing by I simply took a seat did what was needed and continued on my journey home. Great first cache TTS a fav from me. TFTC #409

A new cache not farm from home, and hidden in an interesting way. TFTC

05-Sep-17
Quick park and grab . Checked out the interesting diorama
Thanks for the cache

Tftc. Had to wait out some muggles near GZ, but patience won out with Giggles2610 being decoy.

05-Sep-17
Had to wait for a muggle to move on. Once Mrs Jaybeem! took a seat to check out the diorama cache was located. Tftc

I often walk by this area so I was pleasantly surprised to see a cache had popped up here! A clever hide, and a very unique vessel. Loved this cache. TFTC

Joint 2TF with Brewmaker after a geocache event at Darling Harbour. In a nice little street in Chippendale, near an unusual looking corner bar. TFTC TheToothlessSleuths

04-Sep-17
After leaving the event at Darling Harbour, EverestHigh and I decided to tackle this new one nearby. Not quite a quick park and grab as we wandered around a bit before I tried Google satellite, wandered over to a place we hadn't tried yet and uncovered the well-concealed hide. From GZ we observed a very interesting diarama while signing the log. Congratulations on your first hide. Hope to see some more soon. TFTC.

I was very lucky to see the notification. The I was using a very slow form of transport, so was not entirely sure if I'd make it in time. Made it though, and found a blank log book. Yay FTF.
