Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.With magnificent weather forecast we were up making lunch, loading the bikes onto the geocruiser fairly early (for us).We saw a large snake on the mid north channel trail, many kangaroos and bobtails whilst out and about.Crops looking great in this region. We are waiting for harvest to start on York Peninsula, gonna be a while yet. TFTC Tk2
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. Based in Peterborough, we are exploring some of the surrounding areas. While the boys were peddling along the Mid North Channel, we girls were picking up a few caches of our own TFTC TK2.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. The Geo-men decided on a biking day so they were dropped off while Mrs ILT and I cached around the area. Thanks Tk2
On the way to do a bit of the power tail. Thought we'd pick up some others too tftc

Away for a couple of days with TheWhiteDogGang.
We stayed at the free camping in Blyth and cached around Blyth, Brinkworth, Yacka, Spalding, Clare, Stanley Flat and surrounds.
Most caches found were in good order.
Not the bridge we first thought it would be at.

A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache Tk2.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
Heading to the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. quick find.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

Decided to look for some easily found cachers today after seeing North Clare B grade win over MinMan in first semi final played at Spalding.
Very nice day up to 21°C and some wind.
Found and signed nine logs this afternoon around Spalding area and added some bouncy bowls or dices to some of the finds.

Out for a drive in the area today to grab a few caches to check off our Hidden Calendar. Was very close to this one after collecting others nearby so why wouldn't we get this one too. Was attempting the nearby multi but dnf'ed on a stage was that near here. Changed our target to this one as we admired the bridge and footings nearby from a bridge long gone. A neat hide.

Found out in the weather. Container brittle and broken and lid is missing. Hubby put it all in a plastic bag and rehide at GZ. Needs maintenance. TFTC
A day for a drive up that way... with Purrfect Di and Jack the Monkey.
Sadly this one was exposed and is a bit broken.
Tucked as neatly as possible under a small log by the stump.

As our holiday is almost finished now, we are just tiki-touring around the local countryside picking up as many caches as we can. Hot weather is forecast so travelling in the air conditioned car is the preferable way to get around today.
Cache was visible on arrival so we put some extra camo on it. tftc

Always nice to see an older bridge. Could also see the footings and stonework from what I assume is an earlier bridge further along the creek line.

Catching up with late logs
Heading down from Cameron Corner slowly making my way south I found so many caches in Orroroo that I decided to camp the night and grab some more before I left this morning.
That completed I was again heading south.
This one took a bit longer than it should have as I thought the GPS was pointing into private property so was looking around the wrong spots. Once I realised my mistake the cache was found not long after and the log now contains our name.
There is some quite serious erosion going on around here.
Many thanks TK2 for the great hide.
