R.I.P. SARA!
I hear ya Homedg, I've been waiting to clear this from my list for quite some time!!!!!
Sara is in quite good spirits seeing how it has been over a year since she was on the move, after a short break she will be on the ground again

Checked in on Sarah who is in good spirits, she is safe and has beefed up her fortifications (a small tree has fallen across the path to her hidey hole). All is well for now however we need to keep her moving so as to keep the machine at bay.
[Sarah has decided to go solo again after making a slow cautious journey to a new hidey hole. She has covered her back track, taking time to conceal her every step. She should be safe for now however who knows how long it will take for the machine to realise she has escaped its grasp and for the chase to close in yet again.]
Follow the track up, see the yellow log, always head left sticking to the base of the rock face, under the overhang.

Sunday 17th April 2005, 11:39 ....... Report: Fortunately on this occassion Sarah was more trusting and allowed her very cunning hiding place to be located......She is travelling to a new location......keeping one step ahead of those who would rather her terminated.
(I just realised while making this entry that I have innocently and yet quite stupidly not left a "you missed it note" - sorry for any inconvenience fellow cachers.

Found GZ with an EPE of 4 metres. No rocks to be seen, or found, within that area so expanded to about 30 metres. After an hour of searching several times around and under every rock we could find we only managed to uncover evidence of illegal activities having occurred here recently. Hopefully the Cyborg hasn't found Sarah and terminated her.
A second scout from tribe of GAWS of the shire has been protecting Sarah for just over a week now, she is refreshed and in the wild again. Her new location is not known to the Cyborg, but it won't be long till he discovers her. She is hiding under a rock so be quick before he finds her.

I think we should list the dificulty for our places in each log.
Sarah was deep in a cave hidden by a large rock... about 4 difficulty I think.
I had to call the help line even though I was standing within 50cm of her!!! I will place her soon.

Got to GZ with good reception (i will be seeing spiders and webs in my dreams), however the faulty "anti machine device" that barked nearly the whole time i was in this area (about an hour) must have scared Sarah off as she would not reveal herself despite my best intentions to keep her moving. I truely hope everyones efforts were not in vain and that Sarah has not been terminated.
Went in search for Sarah this morning. With an EPE of 35 metres I had an awful lot of ground to cover!!!! No joy at all, will return when the GPS gods are in aq better mood.
A scout from the GAWS tribe, a little known cave dwelling dwarf people from the Shire, spotted the mushroom cloud as the reactor core in the GEK-2000 Terminator self destructed.
Upon reaching GZ he located a cold, dishevelled and trembling Sarah hiding in the cleft of a large rock. He picked her up and took her back to the tribe.
She is now recuperating in the forest near fresh water.

Sarah Connor has been apprehended by the new model Terminator, the GEK-2000. However this model has been fitted with the new morality chip, and the terminator is currently locked in a debate with itself over whether the subject should be terminated or not.

After my earlier success with a virgin find it was time to have a look for this nearby cache.
I knew the area where the Dingbats had hidden this cache so it didnt take much searching to find this cache and just in the knick of time as a cyborg was closing in.
She is now safe again, well away from her sandy hole. Thanks 2Dogs

Got to GZ with 3 EPE. Spent 10 mins lightly fossicking in the bushes on the sea side. Too hot to search any longer and so went looking for a beer. This was successful.
We were in the area and decided to have a look for Sarah even though we were not in a postion to help her on her travels (We didn't know about the 'missed her' note when we left home). She is safe and well with no sign of cyborg anywhere in the vicinity. Greg and Bev
Tried to make contact with Sarah. Alas she has eluded me. Hopefully the Terminator will have less luck that I had.

With the very worrying suggestion by SWAG agg I dropped in on Sarah to find her well and still enjoying the coastal panorama.
Tiny Tater however asked to be moved on.
Tiny Tater however asked to be moved on.
Couldn't find her. It was after sunset and we left the torches in the car. All we found were piles of discarded junkmail and spikey asparagus weeds. Maybe the Terminator has terminated her.
Sarah, along with baby John and Tiny Tater have left Dingbats HQ to hide out in the dunes.
All signs were grim.
Four inches of rain, thick fog and near to dark. This was all adding up to trouble. Sarah could not stay at Sublime Point any longer. We've offered a safe house for now. Next week we'll travel to some place really safe, she may be able to spend some time there.
Tiny Tater TB is going to hitch along for the ride.

With sarah's position under threat due to nearby construction work it was time to move her to a safer location and just in the knick of time. She's now enjoying the scenic views high above the steel city. Sarah is well undercover and is being guarded by her close friend "Bug Me 2".
Sarah received word that her friends were ready to help her on her journey.
We said our Goodbyes and Sarah left with John this morning. She has gone to the pre arranged rendezvous and is waiting to be picked up.

Sarah has been quickly rescued and helped to a safe location - she has asked if she can rest for a while to recover some strength after her recent gruelling training course.
Sarah has deployed after specialist explosives and decoy training.

I have the POWER and the SKILL, I rescued Sarah from her latest bolthole, the Enemy was close by, training with round objects, black hexagonal shapes on white.... The purpose of which escapes Sarah.... Sarah will now undergo some extra training...
Ignore the count and look at the dates....

Sarah completed some ropes training and is now parked safely away. It will take skill to find her current location...do you have what it takes?
Managed to track Sarah down under cover of darkness and move her to a safe house. She will rest a short time before moving on....
Sarah has completed her Psychological Warfare Training with The Twins and has returned to the wild. She is currently holed up in an area once used by another fugitive [GC3720] a couple of years ago. This location proved an elusive search for hunters back then, so maybe Sarah & John will be safe from the machine for a little while...
After receiving orders to help Sarah Connor and supply her with some new weapons and tactical information we were unable to comply. Sarah Connor has moved so deeply undercover that even the resistance is unable to locate her at this time. Perhaps the previous helper might aid us in our mission.
We managed to hack our way into SkyNET via a backdoor and without alerting the machines were able to use the surveillance satellites to locate Sarah. Then using stealth mode we launched a covert operation to pluck her from her hidey hole.
Sarah & John are now safe and resting in a secret location deep in suburbia where they will recieve additional training before returning to the streets...
Stay tuned.

[well, tried for the second time today, still no luck. BB mgb58 has tried before as well and was present on this search, but we just couldnt find it.] we think its in the front yard of a house on torrington road at the moment and are a little hesitant to search in someones yard. however, i did suggest that if we were to look in one of the yards, and the owner(s) found us, and were wondering what we were doing, its probably not in that yard.

Bushpusher, the machine is at your door ... won't you come out and play ... for Sarah's sake?
The Machine has new information on the where abouts of Sarah and John. It is on it's way to aquire the targets. A warning to Sarah seems to be being ignored GoD help Her!!!
Found it 80 Metres from Coastal. I found a lot of rubbish but then spotted the telltale string.
Sarah has been moved to a detention centre while her fate is decieded.

GPS led me to the top of the cliffs. Sarah was at the bottom.
The rock platforms around the area are host to more naked bodies than a Tangles cache.
Sarah and John have been rescued and will be moved on from this safe house after some more training.

Tried a land based approach to this one today. Got to within 450m and discovered the park was closed and no access was allowed on foot. Being the obedient law abiding citizen I am, I had to abandon my plan to destroy, oops, rescue Sarah Connor.

We picked up Sarah's broken transmission wafting across the harbour. We circled the area in the Ideology GeoCopter and abseiled in to rescue Sarah. She's now in the safe hands of Ideology Geocaching!
Sarah has undergone some intensive training in scuba diving and identification of bush tucker whilst in hiding and will heading out to a new location today.
Went to the roadside, only to be greeted by a Missed It note under a pile of rubble. It looks like Sarah flew the coop just in time, we might have been too late.
We anxiously await the new coords in the hope that we may provide further assistance. We have the Mad Medic in case the need for first aid arises.

With so much passing traffc it was only a matter of time before the Terminator found Sarah and young John, so in a late afternoon mission we have rescued the couple and have located them at a safe house, Sarah and John will undergo some intensive training then be back out avoiding the cluthes of the Terminaor with your help of course, New location soon.
What can I say after witnessing the last logs...... some guys with go to any lengths to give birth to a new geocache. I hope mother and bub are doing fine, be gentle with the new infant and beware of the machine, who now has two targets to Terminate. Meanwhile Sarah's dream continues to haunt her.

She's a tough woman this Sarah Connor!!!
As soon as she was back on her feet, she started to insist that she and John Connor needed to keep moving to escape detection by the Terminator...
In a late afternoon mission, we successfully transported her and the baby to a new location...
They won't get much sleep here, so please pick them up quickly and move them somewhere quieter...
It may be difficult to get a fix here (you'll see why) and please do not attempt to cross the road to reach them...
There are some missed it notes in the logbook, so please leave one behind for the next unlucky geocacher...

Leek and Sarah Connor are pleased to announce the birth of John Connor at 20:38 on 10th November 2002. John weighed 30g and was 10cm long.
It was a difficult birth as John's head was rather large in comparison to Sarah''s pelvis, but eventually John was succesfully delivered by Obstetrician Ken.

Leek managed to stab himself in the foot with a broken wine glass while on holiday (don't ask...)and has therefore been unable to cache for a while. However on the way back to Australia we dropped into Salzburg in Austria where these latest photos were taken... We also hid a couple of caches nearby.
I'll be back in New South Wales very soon in a new hiding place, but I have a very important event to take care of first.

Maybe Sarah could be left on the other side of the world and the cache renamed to Lane Cove or Bust II
Leek asked for special dispensation to allow Sarah to travel overseas on the promise he returns with her.
Another day... another cache hunt...
Sarah felt very safe within the ancient fortifications of Conwy... We climbed to the highest watchtower to find the 'Highest in Conwy' cache and took some photos while there...

Now that Sarah is safe in foreign parts, we can relay some details of her journey so far...
We flew from Sydney --> Kuala Lumpur and then on to Vienna. Although Sarah quite liked Vienna, she found the accent of the locals quite worrying, so we had to get her out of there quickly...
Flew on to Amsterdam the same day and showed her a few of the sights. Sorry Snifter, we couldn't quite manage a picture of Sarah with her finger in a dyke, but did get some shots of Canals, China and Clogs...
We spared Sarah the delights of the Red-Light district, leaving her under armed guard at the hotel while Leek attended his brother's buck's night...

HASTA LA VISTA BABY...
We are pleased to announce that due to our successful misinformation campaign, Sarah Connor has now safely left the country
Now that she is in the air, we can announce that Sarah's new look was a hoax, designed to fool the machine into searching for the wrong person.
A few weeks ago, we received firm instructions from the future Resistance that Sarah must be protected at all costs... Sarah will therefore be hiding out in various European countries for the next few weeks.
Pictures and logs will be broadcast with a 48 hour delay to protect her exact location...
We are also pleased to announce that Sarah is heavily pregnant - the sex and name of the baby are of course already known... John Connor will return with her from Europe.
THEY'LL BE BAAAACK...
[last edit: 9/19/2002 5:09:29 AM PST]
The Future resistance is continuing to frustrate the Machines (see Photo). Skynet is pressing the Terminator for results so Sarahs peril grows ever more deeper.

The phrase Don't call me Babe! now springs to mind. Which is a quote from another not far removed sci-fi film, albiet fiarly b-grade, staring one of the worlds living barbie dolls - Pamela Anderson, Barb Wire.
As our first mission to save Sarah Connor was not successful, I am very glad to say that she is again in safe hands...
Signs of cyborg activity were seen in the area, but she has now been transported to a place where she will be safe and can relax for a while. She is under 24x7 armed guard.
If things get too hot, we may have to escort her out of the country, but we await instructions from Mission Control...[?]

Due to the increased threat from the cyborg, we held a strategy meeting and decided the best way of protecting Sarah from the machine would be to give her a complete make-over.

To all prospective Sarah Holders. Always check the Comms window above for the latest known Terminator activity.
The Underground Network have given Sarah a week of intensive training in Weapons, Martial Arts and Tree Climbing (upon special request from the GeoMonkeys). She has been placed on the fringe of an industrial area which contains factories that may assist her in her battle. Her location is also very close to a warehouse of suitable vehicles should she need to escape quickly. The underground network passed her co-ords onto us but we cannot help her anymore.
She is hidden in a very DVS location. Be careful when searching as there may be anything in the bushes around this area, also take a minute to admire the local artwork.

09:30 Sarah has reached a Safe-House and is in good hands (with the GeoMonkeys??? Uh oh!)
I think we snaveled Sarah from under the nose of the aproaching Leek, or possibly team Chaos, as I heard someone crashing into the bush as we headed out the other way.
I feel Sarah connor is a little under dressed for her adventures, and a little short on Firepower for a Cyboerg Hunting Girl of the 90's .
She will be staying with us for a short while, to do a little training, and stock up on her defences.
But fear not, at the first signs of any Cyborg activity we'll have her on her way again.
P.S. Which Geocachers own a red Rav 4? did you get my note? If not then there is one puzzled bushwalker out there tonight.

Well, maybe it was a bit ambitious for my first trip out, but Sarah Connor sounded appealing and it was nearby, so I thought I would give it a go... I only bought the GPS this morning, so I barely had time to read the instruction book, but figured out the basics...
I had to abort the first attempt because the going got a little tough for my three year old, but went back on my own in the afternoon and tried again...
After a long walk from the south side of the park, I finally reached the coordinates, but could not find the cache container or a note... I ended up in a patch of fairly thick bush about 50m from the main track, so I hope that was the right place...
I didn't have a clue what I was looking for or where it was likely to be hidden, but it was good fun...
I have just returned home covered in scratches and charcoal...
Maybe I'll try an easier one tomorrow...
