I solved this multi a couple of days ago, but was not sure if I would have time to find the cache. Our trip to Millicent took less time than expected, so I decided to make a detour to the cache on the way home. I did not expect this type of hide in this location, so finding the cache took a little while.
With the calcs done, I headed over to GZ, but couldn't see it for looking! My PAF was no help with their memory, but did confirm my co-ords calcs, so at least I was in right spot to be looking! Then I spotted something I should've seen on the first sweep.TNLNSLThanks
TFTC Great multi interesting info here as we didn't now this used to be a cemetery cache is in good condition we had quick find.
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, the back roads, and the wild southern seas. TFTC LNCU.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on. SA caching foray. Staying in Mount Gambier for a week to grab some of the local hides. Its been sixteen years since since we were last here so enjoying the re-visit. Love the country town caching. Thanks for the hideLNCU
SL at 12:15pm. Day trip out with bdiaw (who had an appointment in town) and the GeoTwins. After the appointment, it was time to do a few caches and then get some lunch before heading home. This was my second attempt at this cache (first time was 6/12/21). It was bdiaw who made the find here today and I am happy I can finally turn this blue frown upside down!*Signed log as FWD.*TFTC TT016 and the challenge!
TFTC. Combined effort with Happylife72. Our first multicache puzzle that we tried to do with a lil extra help from Hevwalker.
TFTC TT016 for your cache MEISCHEL PARK which we found today. We have been camped at Penola for the past week enjoying the area and the caching. Today we decided to head to Mount Gambier. The aim was to complete the Adventure Labs and to complete some more of the multis and solved puzzles. We would also attempt any other caches close by. We succeeded in finishing all the Adventure Labs as well as 13 other caches. A great day.

Came and sorted the numbers easily enough, then walked over to GZ, which just happened to be the place where a dog was barking wildly the whole time we were there [8)].Managed to find the cache and retreated elsewhere to sign the log .TNLNSL.Thanks TT016.
Originally couldn’t find it but was able to phone a friend and quickly find it afterwards. TFTC!
Out for a long weekend road trip with an owl and a dragon.
Not at all what I was expecting to find, thanks TT016.
Not at all what I was expecting to find, thanks TT016.
A trip down to Mt Gambier had been planned with Doctor Owl and sushilord and today we concentrated around Mt Gambier with a stop to pick up Bowerbird then morning tea before heading out again. [^]
We decided to get out soon after breakfast to try and get a couple of the owl's previous DNF's and this was one of them. sushilord was the one who put his hands on the cache and Doctor Owl was very happy.
Thanks for the cache TT016.

Owl, Sushilord and JJ52 had been planning a trip to Mount Gambier since Bowerbird's accident and it was finally happening! They were picking her up for morning tea, but after breakfast there was a chance to redress a DNF that Owl had leftover from 2018. She nearly missed it again but it's nice to have friends to lower the difficulty rating.
Tried to find this one the 6/12/21 without success. 1.5/1.5 how hard can it be? A hint would have helped! I gave up after old mate from one of the neighbouring properties was spying on me the entire time from not only his backyard but from a walk he also decided to do. Maybe he stole the cache!
I had a hotel voucher I needed to use which was due to the lockdown last year postponing the Millicent Mega event. This weekend was our best option for travel and with the borders just opening up again a few days before I was worried I would need to postpone the accomodation again. Luckily the border opened and an awesome 3 day trip was made. This would also free up some time for when the Mega is on again in October by collecting a lot of what we wanted to this trip.
After a couple of morning tree climbs and then completing the GV2020 geo-art we headed up this way mainly to do the WhereIGo caches but Fleabag- got distracted and we started on this section of the trad wine glass. While we were here we then also went and found all the WhereIGo caches as well with a couple in fairly obscure locations.
Once the WhereIGo caches were done we headed back to Mt Gambier and we had a bit of a wait before our dinner booking time so wandered around town looking for whatever we came across.
Clues gathered then cache found after a couple of minutes in an unexpected location..
Thanks TT016 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Spiffy-, my geopartner and I headed over to SA - Milicent. We had hotel vochure to use from the first lockdown and border closure and Labour Day weekend was our best option. We had many puzzles solved and interesting caches to find in this amazing part of Australia.
Had to count and double check the values and then worked out a plausable GZ where the cache was quickly spotted after reading the hint.
Thanks to TT016 for the placement and fun.

A top spot for checking out the views, then onto gathering information that helped us find the elusive cache container. Once spotted it was a quick grab. SL TFTC
Out with feathertop and Tag-along today and we discovered this park and a nice hide too after we crunched the numbers.
Thanks TT016
Thanks TT016
This cemetery site has a lit of interesting history and I enjoyed the task of sorting out the numbers.

Day 35 ( Friday 14th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Mt Gambier today. A total of 1 for the day and 6480 the trip.
Headed out to explore a bit further afield today. Had to dodge the drizzle but still had fun out and about in the Pine forests and surrounds.
Thanks for sharing the history here. Info collected then cache quickly signed before heading home.

Found during a very enjoyable caching trip to the South-East of SA with e.gregory1 for a few days. On Day 1 we traveled to Robe via the coast road, Princes Highway, through Meningie, Salt Creek, Kingston SE and camping out for the night. On Day 2 we drove around Beachport to Millicent and completed the GV2020 puzzle series before resorting to cabin accommodation in Millicent due to deteriorating weather. On Day 3 we toured around Millicent, out to Kalangadoo to do the bottle component of the wine geo-art series (leaving the glass for another day), down to Mt Gambier and Port MacDonnell, then back for another night in the cabin. Day 4 saw us return home through Penola, Naracoorte and Keith and back along the Dukes Highway. Targeting a range of cache types (Traditionals, Puzzles, Earthcaches, Multicaches, Wherigos, a Letterbox and a Virtual), a multiple of cache attributes, and a wide variety of Difficulty/Terrain combinations resulted in some quick drive-by’s, tackling the trails, some tree-climbing, often using elevation devices and enjoying some nice walks and great scenic coastal locations. Thanks for the cache TT016!
FeatherWaite and I thought we might chance our luck with the winter weather and head down to the south east for a few days of camping and caching. While the caching worked out well, the weather deteriorated quite a bit and we ended up having to abandon the camping idea after the first night and find ourselves a cabin for the next two. However, it did allow us to save some time and find a few more caches that we might otherwise have not got to in the time available.
After making our way down the Coorong, visiting a selection of targeted Traditionals, Multis and Earthcaches, we rolled out the swags on the first night under a beautiful clear (but cold) night sky near the coast south of Robe.
The following day we cached our way to and around Millicent until well after dark, picking up over 100 Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Virtual and Earthcaches, including the GV2020 geoart series, before settling into a cabin for the evening.
Another day caching around Millicent on the Friday allowed us to find another 85 or so targeted caches before the rain arrived in earnest and we were glad of the cabin accommodation again that night.
We made our way back home to Adelaide the following day via Penola and Naracoorte, again picking up a nice variety of caches along the way.
Overall it was a great trip, with over 200 Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Letterbox , Virtual and Earthcaches found along the way, many with quite high difficulty and/or terrain ratings. Most of the caches were in good condition, unless otherwise specifically noted. Favourite points have been allocated to those that I particularly enjoyed or found very clever along the way.
Many thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches and the various puzzles. I am looking forward to my next visit to the region, possibly later in the year for the rescheduled Mega event at Millicent in October.

A trip to the Mount meant an opportunity to find a 31st of December cache down here. While the car was getting looked at we had the use of a loan car. Made the most of having transport we came to this park to pick off another multi.
How odd they removed a cemetery, it seems dis respectful but at least there are plaques.
Bit suprised Davidwazza didn't mention anything about the road the plaques are on, haha.
No dead people were sighted today.
After doing the calculations and making sure we didn't miss a Patzel or two we made our way to GZ.
We found many options where a cache could be hidden so it took us a while but we finally noticed "something".
Thanks TT016 for the cache and a.little insight into a piece of local history.
Found it , signed it and replaced it safe and sound as found. TNLN

Until now I didnt even know about the existence of this park. The calculation was done quickly but I thought the whole time, that I did a mistake. So I looked here and there and finally I was able to find the cache.

out with mogni after maintenance run on the whole rail trail. Found dodging rain showers on a cold wet day. Quick solve and find. It also helped with the current " Mystery at the museum " souvenir challenge.
Called past and worked out the coordinates the other day. A quick drive by and find today. TFTC
Read the sign and sorted the numbers, then finally located the cache. Very interesting little park and it’s history. TFTH
We gathered the information last night but didn’t want to flash our torch around looking for the cache. Back today and the well camoed cache was found quickly, the log signed and replaced. Thanks TT016, found with Motndarg. We love these straightforward offset multis.
Suscoe headed out this afternoon for a few caches to the south east of Mt Gambier.
Another delightful afternoon emerged from the chilly start to the day.
Great sunshine and almost no wind.
How good is it to be here during this week.
Thanks to TT016 for this multi, we appreciated the opportunity to see this location and understand what had happened here.
There has been some recent tree clearing nearby too.

Hi there TT016.
This is the 1st of 1 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.

Didn't know this park existed before today and I had the place to myself other than birds in the trees. Once the numbers had been collected I took advantage of the nearby bench to sit down and work out the final. The GPS accuracy seemed to be a bit out but a quick look around and some thing familiar stood out, so it was back to the bench to sit and sign the log. TFTC
It might have been the muggle waiting in the car, tiredness on day 5 of a 6 day non-caching road trip, the presence of surveillance warnings or complete cache blindness, but this one escaped Owl. Next time maybe
Having attended a morning event and a lap of the Blue Lake cabbos and myself stopped by the bakery for lunch before tackling several multis about town
This was an easy multi and took a few minutes to spot the cache after I tilted head at the right angle.

Had stopped off at this cool park, and targeted a couple of these multi-caches. I found this park’s history really interesting, and was amazed to read that they had dug up all these graves and convert to a park. I went though and grabbed the relevant numbers. I initially made a mistake as a name was very familiar to another name. When plotted, had me at a very unlikely cache location. So I reviewed my numbers, in particular that question to realise my mistake. Didn’t take long to find the cache and a good little hide, thanks.
A very moving place to visit.. So peaceful today with the birds singing in the trees and a nice sunny warm day.. Enjoyed doing the multi with 3LG.. So sad to read the ages of a lot of the deaths.. May they Rest In Peace.. Loved the photos of the old headstones.. Shame they couldn’t be left where they were..Wonder what happened to them.. ?? Great multi.!

Needing some fuel to get to Pluto for the planetary pursuit, I cancelled my planned trip to the Grampians due to the unfavourable weather and headed across the border to My Gambier for a few drive-bys so I could retreat to the car quickly when it started really pouring down.
Having solved this a long time ago and previously been muggled out of GZ,I no such issues today, but it did take me a while to spot the cache.
Thanks

Found as part of my 2017 Alexandra Mega experience. This cache added to the fun and enjoyment of my trek to the east and back from Adelaide. While there were a few thunder storms, there were mainly clear skies and I never saw a snake! [^]
Thanks to TT016 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

ROAD TRIP - Day three. Time to head back to the Adelaide Hills from Mount Gambier. Once again I have mogni for company so you can bet we might stop for a cache or two or twenty.
What - four plaques. [O] Okay so look at the questions.
Oh no the plaques are in chronological and not alphabetical order.
That just added another half star. So get the answers and then check them all again just in case. Pretty sure I have them right.
Great just another small walk and very limited places where it could be hiding.
Another quick find. Gotta love it when that happens.
Thanks TT016.

Interesting the places you find when caching. I did not know of this site until I assisted with the setup of this cache...
I collected the info and calculated GZ then went off looking when I was challenged as to what I was doing so close to their parent's shed which I gave a lame excuse and didn't continue with my search.
Maybe next time around.
