Landscape has changed here, this one is too public now with the restaurant there
Wrong rock to start with thanks for the cache. Looks like a nice spot for a meal too!
Next to the fancy cow. But she was not looking at us, so we could quickly sign. TFTC A1S1
Needed the hint to find it, thank you Such a nice way to discover these vineyards on bikes PLUS to look for these left caches from our last visit, so much fun for us Tftc
Quick park and grab before heading to the airport to pick up my geo mates and head to nelson.
Got off a bit early from work and headed out for some caching. Beautiful sunny day but got cold once the sun had set. Managed 22 finds and 1 DNF. So many wineries to find. Think I will have to return at the weekend for a bit of tasting. Quick find. Cache and log all fine. Thanks for the smiley
Wow what a find, we left a lil treasure to brighten someone’s day. Life is like a circle
Even when I exposed GZ, there was just enough additional camo to make me think the cx was not there. I finally dug a little deeper and found it. TFTC.
Out for a drive after checking into our motel for a couple of nights. A nice easy find after the rain had stopped. TFTH
We are having a leisurely day ..then we come upon the winery trail ..now theres a challenge ...but maybe will have to complete on my next visit thanks Ricardinho nz
We were on the "homeward" leg after a drive around Queen Charlotte Drive. ...just a few more. There is a new building going up close by but we were shielded by the hedge. Thanks for the cache ricardinho.nz
In Blenheim for a while.. so think I'll try and do a few when I have the time.... Cheers.
Out and about wine tasting along with a stop at the Moa brewery. Plenty of caches to be found too. A great day out
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to visit!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*Another good cache located - now onto the next one!*

(# 6237). Last day of my South Island odyssey and it is very windy around Blenheim. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
I was out at the Vines Village this morning for morning tea with Kiwimykl. ON the way back into town my phone rang so I pulled over to answer it. While I was talking Kiwimykl got out of the car and brought this cache over for signing. As I was still talking he signed it on my behalf.

Find #9 for MnAJ - tricky to get to, the kids tell me. Maybe their hands are just too little Tftc - traffic building up on the road, so some stealth needed. Tftc.
We were off on what was meant to be a tour of the wineries…
Instead it turned into more of a cache tour with the odd winery thrown in - much more to my satisfaction.
Nothing beats a weekend in paradise – other than a weekend in paradise with friends, thanks for coming along for the ride Hayzz and Kimmy+co

Found with No.13 to get caches up for Mystery at Museum on a lovely winters day. Quick find. TFTC
Found with Ulmuslynx and my daughter.
Beautiful wineries in Blenheim

Todays small geocaching mission with the grandchildren. A lovely morning to explore down Rapaura Road. Small problem with the littliest one managed to fall over in the mud and she wouldn't get out of car for the rest. Grandson enjoyed finding this one and loved the cache. SL. TFTC.
Out with NanaAuckland (Darby&Joan) doing some geocaches this morning. Grandson found this one and loved the cache. SL. TFTC.
I do love this series of caches! spacenarwhale and I headed out today to find the two fingerprints, two footprints and two shadows we need as clues for the Mystery at the Museum. This was our third find of the day on a lovely and warm Marlborough winter's day. We both stood beside the car, decided what looked most likely to be GZ then both headed straight for it.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
We were looking for caches to fill up the Museum Mysteries. I found it. TFTC ;P
Easy find with the hint although GPS had me wanting to climb the fence. Good thing I didn't. Unbelievably busy road, even at 6 in the morning.
Back in the area today ater a delayed ferry crossing due to the high winds, bit of a bumpy ride, but got a couple of hours caching in, many thanks to all the cache placers - Bitsprayer

I thought today was one of my calendar days. Needing to get a micro today for my micro dot-days. No , today is a one-day. Oh well, no big deal, although the pool of readily available caches is shrinking due to the guidelines released just a few days back. Alas, this is one of those caches requiring removal. This morning I looked for one that had already been taken out of service, luckily this one is still here. I suppose I should grab them while I have the chance.
It's not dawn yet, but there is fire in the sky over there (see awesome photo attached). I am writing this half an hour later, and it is still not dawn, although under that heavy cloud and light drizzle it will be a little hard to tell.

#6711. I am back in Blenheim once again on a day trip from Wellington to attend several meetings. These went on a lot longer than usual so just as well I had booked the late flight home. Time is starting to run out now so need to grab the last few and head for the plane. Nice quick find at GZ. In fact in the first place felt. Signed the log and replaced the cache where found. Thanks ricardinho.nz for the cache.
Quick find this morning with eltee291 and crman1! Beautiful and hot day to be out and about caching! Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache, ricardinho.nz!
Found on this absolutely gorgeous day with hingis20 and crman1. So great driving around this beautiful countryside. Vacationing in Blenheim from Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC
Considering the number of wineries we are glad that we are sampling at every cache site. TFTC
A quick and easy find. Thanks
Day 2 of our drive to Auckland to catch up with family
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Gorgeous weather so time to take time out and head away to do some geocaching which has been on hold for some time now. After the confusion at the Bike Track some time was spent rechecking all the info we had and last finds before setting out for the afternoon. Yes, we still use pen and paper and the old GPS for our geocaching so some of our info is pretty old but usually okay. TFTC.
Our last few days on holiday, enjoying the sun, the caches.
Thanks to all the cache hiders. Many thanks.

I had an opportunity to go to the South Island and take a week off work and do some caching while Mrs Yeetrees had to go to the ANZEG Conference 2018 which was being held in Nelson.
Day 8: Blenheim to Picton. Today was the last day that we had in the South Island on this trip and we need to drive from Blenheim to Picton to catch the Ferry back home, we needed to be at Picton by at 1 pm. We decided that we would pick up a few caches along the way if the opportunity arose.
After finding GC7DZB1 - Wineries of Marlborough No.16 - Stoneleigh, this was the next cache that I had on my list that I wanted to find today. As we neared GZ, Mrs Yeetrees managed to find a safe parking spot not too far from GZ, from there it was a very easy walk to GZ.
Arriving at GZ with my invisibility cloak on (HiVis), no one paid any attention as to what I was doing. Once at GZ, I checked to make sure the area was clear and then I had a quick look at the hint and soon spotted something and soon realised that it was the cache.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks ricardinho.nz for placing this cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13669). A great spot for a cache, thank goodness that it was a Saturday and there were many muggles around.

Picking up some caches today to qualify for a challenge cache. A quick find here and then moving on. tftc
Its Queens Birthday Weekend so we are off caching for the long weekend. Todays route took us from Motueka through the Rai Valley to Blenheim. After checking into our accommodation and having some dinner we went out looking for a few more caches to top the day off. A quickish find here and WoW! What an amazing unicorn on the powerbox. This is the last of the evening. Dropping in a fav. Thanks for placing this cache here for everyone else's enjoyment.
Out and about on Day 4 of the Blenheim cache raid. Another quick find. Thanks for the cache ricardinho.nz
When the alarm went off at 05:50 this morning I didn’t have to look outside to tell that it was raining. I could hear it heaving down. My first inclination was to hit the snooze button, but that's not what we're here for. So it was up dressed, shaved, breakfast, and out the door.
I needed to use up my free AMEX flight and with no family trips planned, a day trip to Blenheim was arranged. Lots of cache varieties and different difficulties as well. There were too many caches to do individual logs. Thanks to all the COs. TFTC.
Time to make another raid from the West as there is a big Bridge tournament on this weekend. But first I found the time to arrive early to do a couple of days caching.
A quick park and grab.

This was a quick find by WW. So many vineyards! Thank-you ricardinho.nz for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker while caching in and around Blenheim on a beautiful autumn day. With just one full day here, we are concentrating on finding solved puzzles and some multis, as well as any trads that jumped into our route .
I was on signing duties and managed to make a hash of SW's name - you'd think I'd have it right by now. TFTC.

Out and about on a dot day - and was keen to change this from blue to yellow.
Parked strategically and jumped out - looked both ways and quickly made the find.
TFTC ricardinho.nz - especially for your prompt checking after my DNF.

First day of March and those darker mornings, cooler starts and Autumn are a-creeping up on us. With a pesky 3-day to 'correct' (improve) today I was out of the house earlier than usual this morning to allow me to grab a cache before start of work, though I was still earlier than ever anyway.
As I approached G Z there was someone alongside with her phone out, consulting the screen, yes even at 0710! Pulling up alongside I proceeded to terrify her with the question "Are you Geocaching?" Alas it was not to be, she was actually taking a picture of the unicorn sprayed on the host item. True story, r.nz. She then jogged off along the road.
I soon had the cache in hand thanks to a recent C O check and confirmation and all was good in the cache-number-increasing world.
Seeing that graffiti made me feel that a puzzle based around Italian car manufacturers would be apt on this (spoiler alert) P. U. B (Public Utility Box), then I remembered it was a mythical creature . . . . . . .

Cache all good, had crept a bit though. Re-centred and good to go. Stealth please, vintage is about to kick off
I'm either blonde.... or this one is missing?. I flicked a couple of paper wasp cases out of the way of where I would have thought the cache was according to the hint. Then I had a good look and feel but still didn't come up with the goods.

Nanzie put her hand on something straight away and said got it, pulled it out to find she had a wasps nest which she dropped very quickly, luckily there were no wasps, then she looked with her eyes but didn't see it, i looked on the same place and spotted it, camo blends in well. Thanks ricardinho.nz

Paddle chick and I were heading home to Nelson and had to do the Vineyard trail took a few minutes to locate .Tftc Ricardinho.nz
Out doing caches along Rapaura Rd and headed for the obvious point. Be careful where you put your fingers as there are multiple wasp nests being formed on the cache host so decided not to look too closely and come back another day.
In Blenheim for just a short time to celebrate Mrs KE's grandmothers 100th birthday. That was yesterday so this morning I had time to pop out to a few wineries, er I mean caches. This one was nicely tucked away and in the first place I checked. Thanks ricardinho.nz
First official day of my holidays so I headed over the hills and far away to find a few caches along the way. I managed to knock off a few more 'Wineries' caches today. Mostly nice park and grabs - would have been nice to park and grab a bottle of wine at each winery too but that wasn't to be. Parked across the road and found the cache in the obvious place. TFTC, Biggles.
