Looked at all the obvious and some not so obvious places and wasn't going to look in the blackberries
With Debsnz today. We found the others in this series but could not locate this one. There was a place that seemed obvious but nothing there, and even widening the search considerably did not help. We think it has gone.
On a trip down in the lower South Island with woolwood9.
We soon had the container found SL: **tm/ww NZ**

After a fairly long and intense day on the road caching yesterday, today I planned to take a more relaxed approach, finding a few more caches on my drive from Oamaru to Christchurch. A short walk around the Glenavy Reserve Track made a change from the mostly park and grab caches I was finding today. Overshot this one by a few metres. Spotted the likely hiding place when I looked back where I'd come from. TFTC, Biggles.
Road tripping around otago and geocaching along the way. Found with everdene22. Tftc
Today StreetWalkerNZ and I head back to Christchurch so we left Moeraki at 7:30am to try to beat the predicted rain. Unfortunately that didn't work, and it started drizzling in Oamaru and soon progressed to rain. Boy it's been a wet 2021 for us so far!
We had failed to find this cache last year so it was a blue face that needed avenging. We had hoped that it would be drier under the trees, but not really, so jackets on and a fast walk to GZ. In fact too fast and we both overshot GZ. After checking a few likely hiding places, we back tracked and found the cache. Thanks for replacing. TFTC.

#19255. Last time we looked the cache was AWOL. The CO replaced promptly, so it was worth a walk in the rain today to look for this one. Didn't take too long to track the cache, and then we scuttled back to the car to get out of the rain. TFTC.
We searched every tree within 25m of our wavering GZ, so either we are blind (possible) or this has gone AWOL.
We spent quite while looking (on the way to numbers 3 and 4, and on the way back again). Shame we weren't able to complete the series today; oh well it's not a big walk from the car park.
One the way direction south here we made a rest und looked for caches too. Tftc
Quick find after lunch. Touring around in our bus we are unable to get lots of park n grabs but this spot was perfect. Pity not enough time to get all of them. TFTC
Out of DUNEDIN and headed to Nelson for a week. On a mission to tick off our 2000th cache on this trip and this is cache NUMBER 2000 and contained a suitable smilie.

I’ve stopped in that layby many times before. Never realised it was a great wee walk right here! Today needed to stretch the legs. Perfect! I see there’s a few others in this area also, but will have to wait for another day.
Nice quiet find this morning... Dawn was just breaking... Just me, a hare and a few thousand birds singing a Dawn chorus. Cheers
I am traveling with my daughter Lucinka mundlinka and son Negrritos across the New Zealand. We are from Prague, Czech Republic. We love "geocaching", the main target is caches )
Many beautiful caches, amazing and unforgettable experiences, thank all owners, TFTC )

A planned geocaching trip with specific targets in mind.
1: The final 2 caches to fill my D/T grid
2: The last 5 caches available (all in the South Island) to meet the NZ Jasmer challenge GC4R9Z6
3: Get as many caches as possible in a day (Solo)
I had no timetable and only a vague route (Christchurch - Dunedin- Invercargill). So after 20 days of sleeping in my tent/car I arrived home having traveled 4500km and visited some interesting places. Met some great people. I had found over 650 caches. That was a lot of park. Jump out out. Find cache sign and return. Then on to the next. All this done by myself. Also attended an event and had 2 FTF
Mission 1 and 2 were achieved and I had a best day of 153 caches. All this done by myself.
Day 14 Herbert Forrest to Waitaki 51 caches found today. Missions completed by now so caching my way back up the island. Thank you for the placement.

A quick easy find on a pleasant walk in the shade of the trees on this walkway. TFTC
I had a bit of time up my sleeve so after using the nearby facilities I decided on a short stroll to finish off this series. A quick find.
Found with Julius family while on Christmas holiday in South Island and Stewart Island. Logging now as I have my own account. TFTC
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 10 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I had shifted my snail shell back in Oamaru for a few days on my way further south.
Time for a little walk to sign off a handful fof caches.
Cheers for the cache.

Driving from Tekapo to Dunedin and found this lovely little spot as a stop off point and a place to stretch the legs. Wandered with the kids along to this one which proved to be a better option than fording across the creek given we'd only just managed to dry their shoes after the last rock hopping adventure! TFTC!
A quick find of the 4 caches in this reserve. We targeted these as we were keen to stretch the legs a little and these looked like a nice little walk. Did not attempt the one further on that required a stream crossing, TFTC Bitsprayer.
Day 7 of 8 of a trip around the South Island. Today, it’s Oamaru to Christchurch.
We hit the road at a reasonable hour, but not before stocking up on lollies from the factory shop here in Oamaru.
The aim for today was a few targeted older caches, as usual on this trip, and some short walks around other areas just to stretch the legs, as well as the odd PnG where we could. Kept track of time the whole way as it’s mum’s birthday and we have a dinner date in Christchurch. TFTC to all COs, we had a good day of travelling.

Fine winters day, time to get back out and to some caching. Nice little walk in the sunshine. TFTC
An enjoyable walk collecting a few caches as we head North. Worked down here for many years but never stopped to enjoy the walk. TFTC
But which Pine Tree??? A little search soon turned up the cache. So many Brambles. Thanks.

We were in Dunedin for the weekend - celebrating the little bros graduation.
On the drive home, we had a stop here with the whanau, as mum was really keen to collect the caches. Good stretch of the legs, and finds weren't too tricky either

The location of a frequent stop on the way north, so this time we had a good reason to stretch the legs more and go for a walk! Pleasant stroll and easy finds, TFTC!!
On our way to Christchurch we also stopped in Glenavy Camping site. We explored the closer area around the site and found this cache as well.

Was going to Oamaru for a day trip with Mrs Yeetrees as she wanted to go for a ride and pick up a few caches as I wanted to train her how to cache with a phone. We also needed to go and get a new microwave for her dad as I was getting a bit annoyed with the one that he currently owned as it was made when the dinosaurs walked this planet as it was so slow in heating up things that it basically took 4 times longer than it should.
After finding GC7DKFT - Glenavy Reserve One, this was the next cache that we had on our list to find today.
I let Mrs Yeetrees out to search for this cache as I followed her path down this lovely walkway, it only took her a few seconds to work out were this cache was and was able to retrieve it, signed and then replaced it was found.
Thanks Bitsprayer for placing this cache here and for bring us to this spot, will be interesting to see how long this cache will last here for, TFTC TNLNSL (12893),

I had a goal to get to 2000 finds before the end of the year so a 2 day caching mission to Oamaru was in order. I started day 2 with a lovely wee walk around Glenavy Reserve. A beautiful morning and it was so nice walking along hearing the birds singing and the nearby stream flowing. A wonderful start to the day and a nice quick find TFTC
I was also hoing to pick up the woods one from this reserve walk this evening but there just happens to be a significant water feature between me and it so not this time! TFTC # 11,682
Between Oamaru and Rakaia we had four major stops to find caches. The first stop was at the picknick area by Pukeuri, where we found two caches with some historical aspects, then we stopped at the Glenavy Reserve walkway at Waitaki river bridge.
We moved on to Timaru and did some caches from the Saltwater creek walkway where we met Canadian geocachers and had a nice chat and our last geocaching stop was at Ashbury for a part of the Lake Hood trail.
After a short chat with a kiwi, who was there because he had better cellphone reception then at home, we went for this trail and we found 5 caches on it.

A nice quick find on a quick walk around the reserve. Cheers.
Time for some final caches around Oamaru, and then cruise on home, with Kiwi Moose. Signed the logs K2MR for brevity. Thanks to the CO's for the Caches.

Out and about with Karma Reprint this weekend, at least the rain under here is a slowed down a little by the trees. Cheers
With GPS coverage reduced to zero and the rain and cold making the walk miserable, we missed this one. Thanks. Rodney and Iris. We will return on a sunny day, with a working GPS!!
Caching as a group, calling ourselves trans tasman team TTT, having heaps of fun and grabbing plenty of caches. Lovely walk Tftc
On the way to the Oamaru Geofest with Taybeedragon. Time to get out of the car and visist some trees - good for the soul,Taybee dragon and I have identical GPS (at least, as far as GPS recievers go) and yet her GPS said 4 metres and mine said 14. Slightly annoying!
Time for a couple of caches before our meet and greet this evening. With Zara and Toby parked up - lets get these feet walking in this great reserve.
Another one snagged and tagged along our way. Cheers

I had a really lovely time walking in the woods with dghoffy. Wonderful to stretch out legs!
I am heading down to Oamaru with LSteamer. Not long now until the geofest.

Thanks. Bitsprayer for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5118 for me.

Just before I left home to make my way towards Geofest 2017 I quickly loaded this and the other 4 recently published Bitsprayer caches into my gps. Nice quick find. I see I'm following in the footsteps of drawp today. TFTC
